NY NOW Summer 2019 at the Jacob Javits Center in NYC
This year’s NY NOW Summer 2019 Event (Retail Renaissance )was held August 11-14, 2019. Over 2,300 brands participated from over 66 countries. Scheduled activities throughout the four days included an Opening Party, silent auctions for charity, sweepstakes, free coffee, wine tastings, happy hours, book signings, and meet and greats. Given the size of the show, a most hospitable atmosphere prevailed.
The following is my Best of Show.
From a trend standpoint, at summer 2019 NY NOW, CBD is no longer a novelty and is fairly integrated into most sectors along with natural, vegan and organic product lines. If there was one trend it was clean beauty, neo-aquatics and simplicity. Held twice a year, many brands present at both shows, others opt for once a year.
