Initio Parfums Oud For Greatness Review + Agarwood Aphrodisiac Draw

Oud, what is it about it that we never tire of? The ancients have used in for incense and to attract lovers for millennia, especially in Eastern Culture. There is an oud for every perfume lover. In my 2011 interview with the great master perfumer Maurice Roucel, I asked …. What is the most erotic raw material, and why? He answered “It is Oud. Do you know about oud? A tree called Agarwood, from Asia, this tree has a parasite that is killing the tree. After that the wood is dry, but it is developing a material, that is very expensive. Like musk, it used as medicine and as an aphrodisiac.  Now this is erotic… The women long ago lit a fire over the brazier and stood over the smoke so that the smoke enters their ladies’ parts."

THIS is sexy photo by Sebastian

In 2018, the French company launched their oud ….Intitio Parfums Oud For Greatness. Recently when Editor Sebastian Jara was at Selfridges in London, he tried Initio Parfums Oud For Greatness and yes, for him this oud lives up to its name. One of the sexiest perfumes he’s smelt –Michelyn Camen, Editor-in-Chief

  • Initio’s parfum bottles are always art pieces! This one is so mystic and gloomy, I love it!

  • Sebastian said that it is a very wearable, croud-pleasing oud. Thus i want to try it since it is hard to find in stores neat me. I think that oud fragrances are sexy but some are too animalic

  • Not having too much experience with Oud, Sabastian made the Oud sound magical in this fragrance. Knowing how much he likes saffron, I'm not surprised he loves this one. I do find oud sexy if it not too animalic. The combination of Lavender interests me and seems like a great balance note. Glad I watched the video. Sabastian's enthusiasm is catchy!

  • Sebastian said that it is a very wearable and croud-pleasing oud. I want to try it out since it is very hard to find in stores near me. Thank you for this amazing giveaway.

  • Alberto paredes says:

Great review as usual Sebastian I can see you like this one, by looking in your videos our taste for fragance it’s very similar!

    Thanks

  • Haven't tried any Initio before.  This does sound great, and I'm a fan of oud.  Fantastic looking bottle.  Interesting tidbit about the smoke, lol!  As usual, another great review my Sebastian.  USA.

  • Eliud Garrastegui says:

Wow! My first time entering a giveaway.

I love when Sebastian explained top notes of Lavender and Saffron. I love oud but I don’t know about lavender and saffron. Sounds appealing and sexy. I will love to try it. I saw a lot hype around the fragrance in Facebook and didn’t want to fall for it, but after my trusted reviewer, Sebastian, I give up, I need to try it, lol

  • Sebastián is super descriptive with his reviews. I've made some amazing purchases off based on his reviews. I'm looking for a signature frag for daily use and one for my wedding. I feel like Sebastian will definitely help me with my search.

Love ouds and would really like to try Intio.

  • I‘m really excited to experience this, I haven’t had any encounters with Initio so far but have had an eye on them for a bit. Sebastian mentioned this to be a very complex scent, and I love being taken for an adventure with a smell so I‘m highly interested to what Initio offers here.

  • redwheelbarrow says:

Wow that bottle is a work of art. I’m not extremely familiar with oud but this description sounds divine. I’m glad we have other options these days than standing over a smoking fire! 😉 Thank you for the generous raffle.

  • I love Oud! But, I was happy that Sebastian said it wasn’t animalic. That’s not a note I enjoy on my skin. I’d love to try this!

  • citizenkage says:

To be honest, I haven't smelled an oud fragrance that I have really loved yet. Maybe this one will be different. If Sebastian says it is great then I have to imagine it is. Sebastian has a great nose for fragrance. Either way, the bottle is beautiful and would make a fantastic addition to any collection, if for nothing more than the aesthetics alone.

  • Desire Ortega says:

Finally a oud fragrance I won’t struggle with. I can already imagine how it would smell the way Sebastian describes it.

  • I have heard about Initio and Oud for greatness perfume. My favorite note is Oud. I have Oud oils and they are just Stunning! The review was just as I expected. Sebastian hit it right on the head. If it is good; the people like it, it's a winner. I have been wanting to try Initio Perfumes for quite a while.

  • I always enjoy Sebastian's breakdown of the various notes in a fragrance and how they flow from the opening to the heart and base. I've been wanting to try some oud fragrances, and Sebastian described this as "easy to wear" and "a crowd pleaser." It sounds like a great intro to oud.

  • dextercharles85 says:

Ever since this fragrance was released, I've dreamed of smelling this. I personally think Oud fragrances can be sexy, if done correctly. How Sebastian explains Oud for Greatness as an aromatic savory oud, I def can see How this one is in the "sexy" category. Excited he did this review bc I really enjoy his insight on scents and the leathery savory accords he mentions he picks up sound like a winner…hopefully like me here. Thx

  • samjones79 says:

Great review by Sebastian!  Enjoyed the description of how the fragrance develops.  This is a fragrance house I've been wanting to get my nose on.

  • As always I like Sebastián's detail. I don't normally find Oud fragrances sexy but I got my hands on a sample of this and it is amazing, would love to win a bottle.

  • This one looks like something I could wear since I’ve struggled with oud in the past at times. Great review. Definitely picked my interest.

  • William Jones says:

I'm glad to know, from Sebastian's take, that this fragrance is not animalic and is a crowd pleaser.

  • bigscoundrel says:

Sebastian has great passion when describing fragrances, and he totally sold me on this one. I’d love to get my hands on this sexy, crowd-pleasing oud fragrance. Thanks for the giveaway! I’m in the USA.

  • I enjoyed his explanation of the sent profile and describing the crowds around the fragrance really made it that much more desirable

  • As always, great review from Sebastian. Initio’s bottle looks really nice, mysterious and luxury and oriental, all in the same time. I would love to try it, awesome giveaway.

  • batandcamel says:

I always love Sebastian's note breakdown. A lavender and saffron opening sounds very interesting! I love oud fragrances and I think they do make great date fragrances.

  • Ivan.napoleon says:

Amazing bottle! Great mix! Id love to win ! Sebastián s review great as usual Miami Florida Thanks

  • Sebastian is one of my favorite reviewers.  I like the fact that he doesn't review hyped fragrances.  Sebastian reviews fragrances that he likes and actually wears. Lastly, I like that he tells what he smells in the fragrance but, he also tells what he feels when wearing that fragrance.

  • Just Add Light says:

Wow!  Loved Sebastian's description of the aoud in this one.  Wearable and savory, yet musky and sexy.  Now we're talking.  Heard a great deal about it when it first launched, but Sebastian just has a way of making me want things.  lol  Anyone else?  USA

  • I'm still pretty new to getting niche fragrances but the more I listen to Sebastian he describes the smells so great that I get a good sense of the scent before I blind buy the product.

  • Daniel Nabati says:

Very intriguing video and the description of the notes sound very appealing. Great video and great explanation I would love to try it.

  • As usual, loved Sebastian’s laid-back reviewing style…his enthusiasm for this fragrance  is catching and he makes this oud perfume seem very approachable and wearable for most of us.  I love oud in certain fragrances and I think this might be one of them!  I am in the US.

  • I find that I am getting more into oud fragrances lately.  I tend to like strong smells…animalics, etc.  From Sebastian's description, this sounds to be an easy to wear oud that won't bother people around me.   I have to go very light handed on my other heavy hitters so I don't overwhelm the people around me…though I douse myself when I am alone at home LOL  This particular fragrance sounds like it might be well-liked by those around me especially if the crowd around the fragrance at Selfridges was any indication.  I find when oud is done well that it can be very sexy.  II have been wanting to try out some fragrances by Initio so this sounds like a good starting point.  By the way, I am from Lexington, KY USA.  Thanks for the giveaway.

  • Loved Sebastians review because he really breaks it down how the perfume performs. In this case Oud for Greatness sounds like a perfect oud that I can wear on a daily basis. It is powerful and sexy which is essentially a perfect cologne.

  • tuiu silver says:

Oud is actually a pretty unpredictable note that usually develops into a sexy nuance on my skin.

The best part of Sebastian's review is definitely the way he describes the transition of the fragrance, from the spicy leathery lavender, to a savory and wearable Oud Wood.

I do own a couple of Oud fragrances, but most of them have a sweet background.

I would love to try a savory and sexy approach of that not.
I would like to join this draw please. Thank you for the opportunity.

  • I love how detailed Sebastians reviews are. And his way of making me want just about every fragrance he reviews! I think this sounds great although I don't have much experience with our what I do, I do indeed find it to be sexy.would love love love to try the baby out!

Thank you for the chance, I live in North Carolina USa

  • I enjoy his enthusiasm and the note breakdown. Saffron is one of my favorite notes and I'd love to be the lucky winner of Initio Oud for Greatness. Thanks for the opportunity ! USA

  • adriana860 says:

I particularly enjoyed Sebastian’s fragrance review as his description of this oud fragrance practically called out my name! I adore leather, oud, and saffron and would be very grateful to receive a bottle to try this powerhouse of a fragrance. From CT, USA.

  • The oud and patchouli sound amazing.  I also oove the look of this bottle.  My favorite oud is a cheapie, Vince Camuto Oud.  I always enjoy Sebastian’s introductions to new fragrances.  Thank you!

  • Sebastian's review was excellent as always! He has turned me on to many fragrances that now grace my collection. As soon as he stated "sexy", I was sold! Hahaha. I love Oud, and I love this house. I have a bottle of Rehab, which I just recently received in the mail, and it is done very well. I'm sure this just as good, if not better. Thank you for the chance at winning a bottle! USA.

  • Sebastian has a great way of describing what he smells making his reviews a fun watch. I definately don't find Oud fragrances sexy. It smells of incense and prayer beads in Buddhist temples. Very far from sexy.

  • Kuztomized says:

I don’t have any stores near me to try high end fragrances like this, so I would love to win the giveaway!  Sebastian’s review seemed very genuine and he made me want to try Oud for Greatness.

  • There aren't any places near me to sample Initio Parfums fragrances. I love the bottle designs. They're gorgeous. I smelled a few while in NYC and loved what I smelled. I'm not sure if this one was out during that time. Sebastian always gets me excited about a fragrance!

  • fazalcheema says:

Intitio Parfums Oud For Greatness is def. enjoying a hype these days. Sebastian's review removes one misunderstanding I had that Initio and Marly are owned by the same people. I can see why it is popular since saffron is one of the prominent notes and it is also not harsh oud but friendly oud hence wearable on social occasions. I am in US,

  • This is such a unique take and use of oud in a fragrance. I have a decant of this and it is simply amazing. The oud in Oud for Greatness has its effervescent, seemingly incense-like quality brought to the fore and this is masterfullly combined with the aromatic lavender and spicy, savory saffron. I really appreciate your review of this Sebastian, as it seems not many reviewers have gotten to this one yet, and I liked how you mention that this is a sexy take on oud. Thanks so much for offering this giveaway to us. It would be a pleasure to win a bottle. I'm in Oregon, US.

  • Hadar kubani says:

Sebastian, great review as always! this is really interesting notes. I much love oud and lavender notes. I have the Oud bouquet from Maison Lancome which is my favorite  sexey oud and I also love the Lavandes Trianon from the same series, I wonder if the scent of this perfume gives the same vibes. I am really curious about the saffron note combines with the other notes, sounds very sophisticted and mysterious. Thank you for the giveaway opportunity

  • As always, great review from Sebastian. Initio’s bottle looks really luxury and sexy.. thanks Sebastian for all the great reviews. I love to have Intitio Parfums Oud For Greatness in my collection.

    From CA

  • Blaine Pratt says:

The blend of notes sound great. Sebastian always paints a great olfactory image of a fragrance.  Now I'm intrigued!   Awesome giveaway too!

  • Mary Shean says:

Sebastian's review on Initlo's parfums oud for greatness. It sounds like a great Oud. Love the notes Lavender, saffron, natural Oud sounds so sexy. I would love to smell this thank you for having this Giveaway.

    NYC

  • Simon D Williams says:

Love the note break down of this oud fragrances. Looking forward to trying it.

  • Sebastian is very experienced reviewer and it is on point with the scent profile description. He describes the opening as a lavender and saffron combo which I really like. Than the oud comes into the play. I think that the oud may be very sexy in the fragrance, but if it is not too skanky or barnyardy. I would love to try this one. I have never smelled anything from this house.

  • After watching Sebastian’s review I must say Initio Parfums Oud For Greatness sure sounds sexy. His reviews are always short and sweet.

    I live in California.

  • Nice review Sebastian! I really liked how you described the notes as simple, yet the fragrance is complex. Very intriguing! I am new to Oud and Initio fragrances and would love to try it.

  • I love Sebastian's reviews, I especially like how enthusiastic he is about oud for greatness and I'd love to try this on my own!

  • Gabriel Garcia says:

    Great review spotlight by Sebastian

This new house its been talked about in the fragcomm, I'm intrigued by the oud and how it plays with the Lavender.

    Las Vegas NV

  • I always enjoy Sebastian’s reviews. I feel that he is very enthusiastic yet honest in all of his reviews. I have heard a lot about Oud for Greatness over the past couple of months, and am very interested to get my nose on it. After Sebastian’s review, I think I’m even more interested.

  • Sebastian is always methodical and well-reasoned. I love oud but not the barnyard piss kind.

  • This is great house. I have INITIO REHAB and it’s a great release. Always a great job by Sebastian on his reviews. Looking forward too seeing more!

  • I've been wanting to try this one ever since I heard it came out! Although I am a lover of all things Oud, a more "wearable" Oud would be nice to have for sure. Thank you for giving us the chance to enter in this giveaway! I am in Michigan.

  • Xavier Reynolds says:

Sebastian did a phoenomenal video talking about how the fragrance Oud for Greatness is very wearable. It makes me curious in wanting to try it. I know how a lot of oud fragrances can come off very skany and animalic. From Columbus, OH

  • Xavier Reynolds says:

Sebastian did a great review of this fragrance mentioning how easy it is to wear. It makes me looking forward to try it. From Columbus, OH

  • luigivargas3000 says:

Wow this guy is honestly the best fragrance reviewer on the tube. I’ve heard of initio fragrances but didn’t know they had an oud!  I’m a complete lover of oud!! Hopefully I can get a chance at this bottle!!!! Please lol

  • sutherncumfort83 says:

Sebastian always does a great job reviewing fragrances. He manages to make me love a fragrance just from him expressing his love for said fragrance. Arizona

  • I enjoy watching your reviews and especially this one. This is a great smelling parfum. I tried it two weeks and ago and oh man, it smelt aaamazing! I loved the fact you broke down the notes and explained how it’s gonna smell like from the top note to the bottom note. This parfum is special. I never smelled anything like this and yes it’s sexy. Very smooth oud. I was amazed!

  • dsantiago02 says:

Hello! I have very little experience with oud fragrances; but I find oud to be very sexy, yet challenging at times. My first oud experience was with Christian Dior’s Oud Ispahan, and my first impressions were not pleasing (I’ve come around the fragrance, but it’s still a scent I hardly reach for). There on, ive tried to make my way around oud, with some friendlier and less challenging fragrances, like Renier Parfums or Mancera. Therefore, to win this would be a stepping stone for me, as I go on in my journey of fragrances. Sebastian made it clear that this was pleasing, sexy, and musky, which makes it interesting to me. Hope I win!

    – Dave, Tampa, Fl

  • Michelle Bailey says:

The review sounds like the oud may be the addictive ashy oud smell I like. At least on my skin clean ouds go ashy but in a good way. Lavendar for a little sweetness and musk you can't go wrong there. Saffron seems to be in a lot of good middle eastern scents. Wonder if there's any medicinal note? Either way I'm intrigued.

  • What a beautiful bottle? I don't about sexy but I like the funkier oud fragrances, which are not always appreciated by the noses of the masses. So if Sebastian's review of Initio Parfums Oud for Greatness is true. It would be great utilize Oud of Greatness to slowly indoctrinate the noses of family and friends. USA

  • I am a newly minted Frag-Head, who's been smitten by the Oud-bug!!! I thoroughly enjoy all of Sebastian's YouTube fragrance review videos, in particular the numerous oud reviews (surprise, surprise…right?). Not only are they informative, but I've actually made serveral blind purchases, with no regrets thus far! Case in point is the fact that I currently have Maison Francis Kurkdjian's Oud Satin Mood on the pulse-points of both wrists, and I can't keep my my hands away from my face! I would absolutely love to win the Oud For Greatness tester, to add to my fledging collection of fragrances. Thanks for reading, and be blessed.

  • I like oud and I like lavender, don't know that I've seen oud and lavender paired often. US

  • I love the fact that Sebastian said he saw all these crowds around the fragrance and that it lived up to the hype! I’d love to get my nose on this!

  • ThatMulattoDude says:

Don't have much experience with Oud so I'd like to try this one as Sebastian described it as crowd-pleasing. Don't know if I'm ready for the more challenging, bold ouds. Thanks.

  • yungcherrypops says:

Loved Sebastian's review as always because it was short, sweet, and to the point! Love the sound of this fragrance and it's been on my radar for quite a while. Would love to give it a sniff. I love oud fragrances and do find them quite sexy! Nathan Cherry is my Youtube name, Alabama, USA.

  • Liz simmons says:

i loved oud & how Sebastian described the oud being woodys & not anamolic. I feel the older I get I love heavier perfumes. I would love to own this!

    ty!!

  • medicalxraystaffing@gmail.com says:

I love Sebastian's reviews. He is always relvant and trend setting. He talks about fragrances that other reviewers may not mention.

  • Great review, Sebastian!  Thanks for looking into this fragrance and reviewing it.  Also, thank you to Initio Parfums and Ca Fleure Bon for the giveaway!  My only experience with Oud is a sample of Les Absolus d'Orient Santal Royal by Guerlain that I received and quickly used up this past winter.  I was intrigued by that fragrance, and it's on my list for purchase some day.  I can see how Oud for Greatness would be different.  Sebastian mentioned that it's savory, not sweet, and that makes sense, when you compare the notes.  I can see why so many people would like to sample Oud for Greatness.  I am certainly one of them, and would sincerely appreciate by the lucky subscriber to win the tester.  Thanks again for the great review and giveaway!

  • Sebastian's note breakdowns are always the best! He really knows his stuff. I do believe that oud fragrances can be sexy and I've heard so much hype around Oud for Greatness. Thanks for the opportunity! Arkansas, USA

  • I like that Sebastian points out that for an oud fragrance, it's easy to wear. I enjoy oud, but sometimes it can be very animalic and challenging. I do find oud to be sexy, but more in the "westernized" type of oud scents. I'm very intrigued with the fact that many are calling this a more masculine version of MFK BR 540, which is one of my all-time favorites! I'm in IN, USA.

  • Sebastian is the best in the frag community. Excellent job!! I haven't tried any initio yet

  • I thought that initio and pdm were the same brand. Thanks for the explanation. I am so excited about this giveaway!!

  • Sebastian is a master at descriptions. I really appreciate his enthusiasm. Windermere, FL

  • Sebastian is really good of hyping up fragrances , but to be honest Oud for Greatness already getting huge amount of attention in the fragrance community. As a fragrance lover for ~25 years , of course i know Initio Parfums , but unfortunately i've never smelled Oud for Greatness . Full bottle of Side Effect is the only Initio fragrance i got in my collection.

More savory , than sweet and also  spicy , oudy , musky and leathery? Fantastic.

Of course i love oud fragrances .I'm wearing Tom Ford's Oud Wood right now.

    Thank you for the opportunity.

  • IvanVelikov says:

Thank you, Sebastian. Sounds like this is the best present for me for my wife's birthday 🙂 Win – win 🙂

  • middleagedandmixed says:

I do find oud fragrances to be sexy. What I enjoyed about Sebastian's review is learning that Oud for Greatness has lavender and saffron as prominent notes. I'm a fan of saffron in fragrances and these days, I'm finding that I'm liking lavender more & more. Thanks!

  • scoutjumper says:

Oud fragrances are sexy but sometimes too animalic. He said it’s very wearable so I’d love to give it a try.

  • This was a compelling and intriguing review of what seems to be a beautiful perfume. The combination of saffron and lavender with musk and patchouli definitely makes it sound rich and sexy.

  • Enjoyed the review by Sebastian and would love to try this and others from Initio Parfums. Sounds like a beautiful fragrance and I like the look of the bottles too. Oud is a sexy mysterious scent. Thanks, U.S

  • Here the key of his review is the word "wearable" . Sometimes oud is a challenging note but it is for certain an ingredient that would definitely enhance a perfume.

I've never tried any Initio fragrance but I'd love to with this one.

    Thanks.

    I live in the US

  • Abdulmajeed says:

ImI a sucker for oud. I have a large collection & OfG look right up my alley.

"Saffron all the way that compliments a Woody heart"! That hit a note with me!

  • I loved this video. Sebastian is my favorite YouTuber. I've never tried any fragrances from Initio. But this one sounds like something I would really enjoy. I love oud fragrances. This sounds really nice. I like the spicy, woody and leather notes.

    I live in the USA.

  • I do not know if I'm the only one, but every time I get notified about a new video, I know instantly that I'm going to learn something new. Sebastian has the gift of reviewing parfums, something that is not easy. Keep up the good work, you sure have fans who really admire you.

  • saadfragrance says:

I love this scent so much. Thank you sebastian for the beautiful description. I have a small 5 ml decant as the bottle is very expensive. Would love to win from the u.s.a

  • DulciusExAsperis says:

Would love to enter – one thing I love about this review is that it gets to the point! I dislike it when fragrance reviewers spend 20 minutes on one fragrance, it's just not necessary. This is a bite size review I can handle and the scent sounds lovely. I'm in the USA!

  • Oud based frags are very challenging for me to envision without a very detailed rundown.   Only Sebastian could pull it off.    I’m picky when it comes to Oud.   Don’t generally gravitate towards animalic ouds but this one sounds highly desirable and elegant.    The house in general has sime very intriguing selections.

  • This sounds absolutely splendid! It's a bit harder to find Oud fragrances in the USA. I want to smell this. 🙂

  • newyork318 says:

Appreciate Sebastian’s insights on this one. I got the chance to briefly test it and agree that it is a very appealing oud scent, quite versatile and rather delicious.

  • I have ordered 4 oud scents now from from Fragrancenet and fragranceX– I feel like a fool because none have been correct fragrances accept for Montale Aoud Cuir D'arabie. Others fragrances were old or had been heat exposed or had something cause them to be very week and unnoticeable. Only other oud I know is Cartier Oud & Oud. Love it, only improves with hours wearing it, same as Aoud Cuir D'arabie. Sabastion makes this Oud fragrance the next one I want!

  • Kevlar1999 says:

Not sure I’ve smelled a fragrance with oud in it, and have never sampled any frags from Initio. This bottle looks great. Sebastian is one of my favorite reviewers in YouTube. And once again in this review he gives a detailed review on this fragrance. He’s good at bringing fragrances I never heard of.

  • I love Sebastian's reviews. Thanks for the drawing! (I'm in the USA and registered here and subscribed at LFSG)

  • DodgerBlue82 says:

I’m new to FragCom and have not had the chance to put my nose on any Oud fragrances yet but the way he describes this sent makes it sound very interesting. Being that Sebastian said it’s a crowd pleaser, I think this would be a great starter oud fragrance for someone new to oud like myself. Great video and info Sebastian, keep up the great work.

  • Great review from Sebastian!

Very interesting to hear from Sebastian a wearable real oud oil containing fragrance, that seem so rounded!

  • As always I enjoyed Sebastian's review very much!

Usually I like oud perfumes, and with lavander's herbal and safron spicy- sweet touch it will be perfect, beautiful!

But I can not say that oud fragrances are sexy.

    US

  • NiceVULady says:

Sebastain is a wonderful reviewer and this is no exception.  I know nothing about this house, but Oud for Greatness sounds really fantastic.  Whether or not it is sexy would depend upon the wearer, I would think.  Thanks for the review and the draw.  I'm in the USA

  • Christina Youssef says:

Thank you so for the review. You are one of the best nose and test I trust in. USA

  • Quadratus_Lumborum says:

Great review Sebastian, love hearing your impression on Oud for Greatness! I'm a sucker for oud but it may not be the greatest scent for those around me. This sounds like the perfect balance of a crowd pleasing oud where the stankiness is toned down. I hear it shares the same DNA as BR540 which is one of my favorites. Thanks for the draw and have a good one!

  • Initio Parfums Oud for Greatness sounds amazing.  The type of Oud I like modern and crowd pleasing.  Im not a fan of the animalic and pungent oud fragrances.  Sebastian, great content as always.

  • doveskylark says:

The way Sebastian described the different notes of Oud for Greatness (what a name!), with its opening stages of lavender and saffron moving to the oud and musc notes, sounds so sexy. I can understand why this woud have such a following. I do find oud sexy, and I love when it is a bold note in fragrances.

    I live in the USA.

  • I love watching Sebastian for his honesty. I find his reviews are always honest and accurate even when he is reviewing fragrances that are not his cup of tea. As a viewer I sometimes forget that reviews are people too. It seems as if they have the privilage of smelling fragrances long before the rest of us do and I admit I am bit jealous at times lol. When Sebastian reviewed this fragrance which to my surprise I have gotten my nose on it before him it reminded me that he is a person too. His review was knowledgeable and spot on as he told us his thoughts. I will always support his channel as he has introduced me to so many fragrances plus he is trustworthy. Thanks again Sebastian 🙂

  • Sebastian has a great personality  and is a great video performer. He knows his stuff and really describes things.  Sexy!  I would love to try this one.  I have been wanting to explore Initio fragrances.  This and Rehab as well.  Oud is an interesting fragrance and Yes, Sexy.  I live in the US.  Thanks for the try.

  • I love sensations expertise and taste. I watch all of his videos to find new and exiting fragrances. His review of this reminded me to ask for other people's opinions before buying or not buying a fragrance. At first I felt this fragrance was good, but not excellent, but it has grown on me and the little sample has intrigued others. It is a distinct , yet more approachable oud overall.

I am a USA resident, ms and would love a chance to own.

  • I like Sebastian's style of description. Thank you, Sebastian and Cafleurebon.

Some of oud fragrances I like and find sexy, but some are very harsh. For example I do not like syntetic oud in Montale and Mancera.

This perfume sounds very beautiful- little sweet, woody oud. It hasn't so rich fragrance pyramid, but as Sebastian said are very complex perfume. I am intrigued very much.

  • I know I usually say this but Sebastian is one of the only reviewers I watch on YouTube.  I've just always liked his honest approach without buzzwords or gimmicks.  I would love to win a bottle of this.   Even though Sebastian said it's not animalic I would still love to own this.   I lean more towards animalic scents.  The bottle is gorgeous.

    I'm in the USA.

  • Lots of lavender and leathery saffron , heavy on the oud in the base . Good to know it's not animalic type of oud . Hints of sweer touches , but more savory .Also patch in the base – say no more. I'm familiar with Rehab – my brother owns it , but not woth Oud for Greatness.

I i do find Oud fragrances sexy especially on guys.I wear oud fragrances too if they're not too funky.Across Sands Maison Martin Margiela is one of my favorites right now.

Thank you Cafleurebon and Initio fr the generosity , and Sebastian for his review.

    Cheers from VA

And yes  definitely Oud fragrances can be sexy, it all depends on notes and designer and sounds like this is going to be sexy.

  • Initio Parfums is a fragrance house that is getting a lot of positive attention lately  . I need to get my hands on some samples. YouTube reviewers , bloggers,  BaseNotes forums – everybody is raving how good they smell, and I feel like the last person on earth not smelled even one of their fragrances.

I'm not some super old follower of Sebastian,  but I know one thing- it's obvious when he really digs certain fragrance,  and Oud for Greatness he likes a lot. I like spicy fragrances , saffron I love in desserts – tarts, pear cakes and so on. Savory smell Sebastian gets could very well be from saffron. Woody base of this fragrance is intriguing. Yes i do like oud fragrances a lot . Thank you for the great draw. USA

  • First time entering a giveaway on this beautiful blog. I have to say I'm not into barnyard type of oud , but I really like this note when it's wearable. Personally I do not have a lot of fragrance enthusiasts around me , so dirty oud fragrances I can't wear. The review was so well done   , makes me wanna smell Oud for Greatness. Savory and sweet combo sounds nice too. Beautiful opportunity thank you. In US

  • Oud could be sweet and fruity, but also could go in down and dirty direction I don’t really like. Some oud fragrances are so dirty , almost fecal … not my thing at all. Easy to wear oud frag , spicy, savory but also with some sweetness? Hmm decent performance too ? Good- I do like my fragrances to be loud.  To be honest Absolute Aphrodisiac and Rehab are the 2 most popular Initio frags… I think. I could be wrong of course, but never smelled Oud for Greatness. The bottle is different compared to other offerings by Initio. I like it. Thx to all involved in this giveaway. USA

  • Sebastian's review is great as always! I'm the queen of oud, so this one is a must on my to try list. I'm glad that he stated that it is a very wearable oud. The combination of the lavender and saffron intrigues me. Intito's presentation is the best. Thanks for the giveaway and I live in the US!

  • One of my favorite and sexiest Oud Fragrances is TF Oud Wood.  Sebastian always and consistantly gives amazing reviews because he is so good at detailing the note composition of fragrances like he did with Oud for Greatness. I would do back flips and be so happy to own a bottle of this sexy gem. I live in CA, USA. One Love!

  • I'm always interested in a easy to wear oud fragrance and Sebastian feels this one is.  I am also interested in the saffron/oud combination, although honestly I love most ouds that I have tried.  Thanks for a great review.
