Nomenclature para_íso (Frank Voelkl) –New Fragrance (with quotes from Frank Voelkl)

While at Esxence I had a brief sniff of Creative Directors Karl Bradl and Carlos Quintero’s new fragrance Nomenclature para_iso. from their Italian distributor I referred to it briefly in my report . About an hour ago, Carlos emailed me from Cuba where they are officially launching Nomenclature para_íso (which is Spanish for Paradise) with the complete press details. It is perfumer Frank Voekl’s fifth fragrance for the brand and in my opinion it is the best yet. According to the release Nomenclature para_íso is based on the myth of the Garden of Eden and is anyone so sure that Eve was tempted by an apple? Could it have been a quince fruit?

For the ancient Greeks, quince is a symbol of love, dedicated to the goddess Aphrodite. "The effusive Quincester®, a captive molecule developed by Firmenich, conveys the heavenly tartness of the pear-like quince. “It’s crisp, lively, so radiant it’s almost fluorescent!” says Frank Voelkl, who admits it was love at first sniff for him. In Nomenclature para_íso, “the radiant Quincester® guides you “In Search Of” or ISO, the ubiquitous acronym. Cutting through a maze of green vines, the laser-sharp molecule reveals a vibrant oasis of green, floral, fruity and woody notes. Iris, jasmine sambac and a full-bodied, almost coconut-like muguet note, the captive Lilyflore®, nestle the tart, juicy fruit in their dewy petals. White tea Nature Print, a vividly realistic reproduction of the floral-scented beverage, introduces luminous cedarwood.  A mirror-like waterfall reflects the light of this bright composition. The search is over: para_íso is your smile as you bite into the forbidden fruit. “

Notes: Quincester®, (Green-Fruity), Lilyflore® (Muguet), White Tea Np, Jasmin, Iris, Cedarwood
