Last week I finally reviewed Viseart Paris eye shadow palette, in Paris Nude 06 after owning  Neutral Matte 01(Check out Gaia from The Non Blonde swatches here), Bridal Satin 03 for some time.  Continuing my love affair with Viseart (pronounced Viz-ee-art) Paris, my favorite of the shadow palletes is Sultry Muse 05 . I can achieve my signature dramatic smoky eye, building layer on layer as well as simpler office appropriate looks depending on the colors used.

Compared to Paris Nude, there is higher contrast between the shades and textures (micro glitter flecked shimmers, a few metallics, and satin shimmers).  Of the two, it's definitely the more versatile palette because of that range of colors-very warm to cool. Sultry Muse is the palette I travel with and stash in my desk drawer, as it easily takes me from daytime to all out evening glamour.

Yves, Camille, Kifu, Gitte, viseart swatches

Yves, Camille, Kifu, Gitte

Yves is a straightforward silvery white micro glitter. Camille looks  boring  brown until you use it, a very pretty light warm brown with a metallic sheen. I use Kifu often as a highlighter, a go with everything soft beige pink and golden-pink micro glitter. Gitte is similar but deeper, less pink, with golden micro glitter

Tym, Jori, CIndi, Chantille cafleurebon

:Tym, Jori, CIndi, Chantille

Tym is an intense duo chrome rose- copper metallic. Jori is deep chocolate brown, (almost espresso but less cool) shimmer with a satin texture once applied and neutral undertones. Cindi is a dramatic metallic copper with strong orange undertones that pops my blue eyes.  Chantille is a a shimmery subtle plum brown. This row gets a lot of use for day, although I use Cindi with a light hand.

Chloé, Melonié, Diane, Ceska

Chloé is a medium silver metallic, with a blue cast and silver micro glitter. Melonié is a dusty pink melon with a satin texture. Diane is an intense deep charcoal that looks shimmery in the pan but appears more satin on the eye. It smokes out beautifully.  Ceska is a pale somewhat gold shimmer that is subtle when applied. Go to row for smoky eye

As with all the Viseart eyeshadow palettes, there are 12 pans and sell for $80.  All are highly pigmented with buttery textures and made in Paris in small batches. When using Sultry Muse I don't apply the shadows wet, as the colors are intense.  The packaging is minimal and the plastic case needs a good dusting each time I use it;  as while there is no fall out on the eye the interior of the case gets messy. I am medium-tan warm complected (NC42, Nars Barcelona) so the results may be different on you.
