The Garden of Michel and Edmond Roudnitska: A Winter’s Tale

The garden that perfumer Edmond Roudnitska created in Cabris,France and that his son ethical perfumer and multi sensorialist Michel Roudnitska continues to maintain was created in 1947 from stony, arid land.

From the age of ten, Michel helped tend the garden with his father and  their perfumes  were composed of many of the garden's bounty. In this  exclusive pictorial, we see the garden in winter, an unearthly beauty that tells its own tale.

    I love the dichotomy of the anthuriums adn snowy landscape, and love the wisteria shot! All really lovely. Makes me *almost* wish I lived someplace snowy.

    The idea that something so beautiful was made from hostile arid land shows that anything, with a little love, a lot of work and some hope can flourish!

    Even in this coldest and most hostile of seasons, your garden still continues to charm and captivate. Mimosa under Snow and the Japanese Gardens are my personal favorites! I love the picture of the Shrine as well!
