Perfumer Anais Biguine of Jardins D'Ecrivains is launching a new fragrance Junky, which was inspired by the semi- autobiographical first novel by Beat Generation American writer William S. Burroughs. Junky was written in 1953 during the height of the McCarthy era when known drug users were as reviled as Communists. The book was so controversial he wrote it under the name William Lee.
Junky was composed to be a unique fragrance, complex and unashamedly different using fresh hemp in the opening and the jus is a pearlescent grey.
