New Niche Fragrance: Penhaligon’s TraLaLa for Meadham Kirchoff by Bertrand Duchaufour

tra la la meadham kirchoff perfume

London's Meadham Kirchhoff’s catwalks have been scented by Penhaligon’s for the past nine seasons. The designers themselves have chosen a diverse selection of scents to represent their collections, including Hammam Bouquet, Bluebell, Castile, English Fern and Cornubia.  Now Penhaligon's is joining forces with  Edward Meadham and Benjamin Kirchoff for the duo's  first fragrance.  Master perfumer Bertrand  Duchaufour immersed himself in the fashionable world of the designers' East London studio to create Tralala , an opulent perfume that evokes the glamour and whimsy favoured by Meadham Kirchhoff.

I love this bottle, it really captures the eccentric girly quirkiness of Meadham and Kirchoff,  although I suspect others will find it a bit out of Penhaligon's brand image. I am trying to picture Bertrand Duchaufour in the world of London Fashion, surrounded by a bevy a models and that delights me.

  • The vision of BD surrounded also delights me! The notes in this one are very intriguing to me..

  • Love that bottle, it has my name written all over it and the notes sound right up my alley. Looking forward to this one.

  • Penhaligans is kicking up their heels lately. Their newest offerings go away from the more staid, British image that I, at least, have of them.

  • Fazal Cheema says:

besides their classical offerings, this is probably the most interesting offer from Penhaligon and it is my feeling it may be also be the most un-Penhaligon in style as Penhaligon’s fragrances usually have Victorian elements.
