Perfumer and Jewelry Designer Olivier Durbano’s "Parfums de Pierres Poems" is a collection of scents inspired and named for precious stones – Rock Crystal, Black Tourmaline, Jade, Turquoise, Amethyst, Citrine, Pink Quartz and in 2012, Heliotrope. His fragrances are noted for their spiritual and numerological significance, beautiful composition and have inspired his striking hand carved jewelry.
M. Durbano is launching Lapis Philosophorum which, unlike his other scents, was not inspired by a gem. Lapis Philosophorum is the name of the legendary stone of magical and mystical powers – the Philosopher’s Stone, sought by alchemists throughout history to turn any base metal into gold, to imbue the user with omniscience and immortality. Each of his fragrances are colored and as is fitting the Jus is golden.
