Penhaligon's 33 Eau de Cologne
Lavender has been an essential ingredient in numerous Penhaligon’s scents since 1870. Both William and Walter Penhaligon used it as a pivotal material when creating such fragrances as Hammam Bouquet, English Fern and Blenheim Bouquet. Lavender is a key note in many of the houses scents including Endymion (Steve de Mercado 2003), Sartorial (Bertrand Duchaufour 2009) and Lothair (Trade Routes, Bertrand Duchaufour 2014). Penhaligon’s Lavandula, created by perfumer Jeanne-Pierre Bethouart in 2004, is in my opinion one of the best lavender perfumes I have ever smelt.
