When I attended Esxence in March, I had a preview sniff of a new Parfums M. Micallef fragrance named AKOWA. The bottle was very different from their signature Swarovski studded flacons; more sculpted and austere.
AKOWA is the name of an African tribe, “keeping secrets and mysteries to themselves and for their heirs”. Parfums Micallef AKOWA is a fragrance based on roots from African plants, and in March I tried to charm my way into obtaining more information, but Lesley Nejman was very good about keeping secrets.
Once again perfumers Geoffrey Nejman and Jean Claude Astier have collaborated and although AKOWA is targeted to men, I really loved it as well.
Notes: orange blossom, bergamot, cocoa, amber, vetiver and musk.
AKOWA will be available October 2015 in 100 ml size
