We discovered Carner Barcelona at Esxence 2011,  met Sara at Elements Showcase a few months later and were mesmerized by Cuirs, composed by Jaques Huclier. We have been captivated by Sara’s creative vision ever since (read Michelyn Gets High on Cloud 9 with Rima XI).

Carna Barcelona has launched El Born, a new fragrance named for the Barcelona neighborhood of Spain that dates back to medieval times.

“A group of old friends playing cards, youngsters discussing at the edge of the fountains, tourists enjoying a glass of champagne… this is El Born, a perfume that captures the essence of one of the most spirited neighborhoods in Barcelona. Merging the old and new, we have created a contemporary soft liquor scented  fragrance filled with the vitality and character of El Born”.

The notes include Sicilian Lemon, Calabrian Bergamot, Angelica, Honey, Fig, Heliotrope, Benzoin from Laos, Egyptian Jasmine,Madagascan Vanilla Absolute, Peru Balsam, Australian Sandalwood, Musk.

Carner Barcelona El Born is available on their site in 50 (€90) and 100 ml (€135) Eau de Parfum.

Michelyn may just return to Cloud 9 again.
