Saskia Wilson Brown, Director ot The Institute of Art and Olfaction
The Institute of Art and Olfaction presented the 2015 awards at the Goethe Institute last night in LA in three categories: Artisan, Independent and Experimental, to a standing room only crowd of fragrance enthusiasts from around the world. Unlike other competitions, the judging was blind and the names and packaging were not known. There was a four point criteria according to Saskia Wilson Brown, the founder of The Institute of Olfaction…. First, general impressions. Secondly, from top to drydown. Intentionality was the third criteria and finally, the X factor.
