ÇaFleureBon’s Top 10 Spring Perfumes 2017+ Spring has Sprung Draw

In Tune by Jeanette Jarville©

Springtime in the Pacific Northwest has a multiple personality disorder. From one day to the next we never know what to expect:  Cold, blustery rain, cool-fresh sunshine, thunderstorms, hail, snow or even a mini heat wave.

On the cool, fresh, damp days of early spring I enjoy the photo- realistic cherry blossoms of Olympic Orchids Sakura by Ellen Covey (2014). Translucent, green and fragile, Sakura opens with a breath of wet earth and bark, a suggestion of budding leaves and a wisp of cool wet, fennel.  The airy sweetness of newly opened cherry blossoms lingers in the heart of Sakura and suffuses the ethereal musk of the dry down with a tart promise of summer fruit. Notes: Airy notes, cherry blossoms and light musk.

As the April sun shines, dandelions burst into bloom. A spring afternoon might see the steep bank in front of our home green with grasses. The following morning this same bank is covered with bright yellow dandelions. To celebrate the return of dandelions (they never really leave as they are impossible to eradicate) I wear Shay & Blue London's 2017 Dandelion Fig – the essence of the dandelion flower, the scent of its roots and leaves as well.  With this fragrance Shay & Blue's Dom de Vetta and in-house perfumer Julie Massé bring the effervescent, tonic relief of dandelions and the promise of warmer days to our unpredictable spring. Notes: Dandelion leaf, lemon grass, tomato vine, juniper and fig.

The month of May is Lilac Time. During my late spring walks I am often overwhelmed by the scent of lilacs in neighborhood gardens.  My favorite lilac fragrance, a soliflore by Adrien Arpel, named simply "Lilac" has long been discontinued. So instead of lilacs (or muguet for that matter) I will talk about my favorite perfume for May nights, M. Micallef Mon Parfum Cristal by Jean-Claude Astier and Geoffrey Nejman (2013). Mon Parfum Cristal is the rich and heady scent of late May/early June evenings – a smoky, glowing "toffeed" rose suffused with a bright, fruity vanilla and Micallef's signature woods. This perfume sings to me of warm, intimate evenings and promises love and romance.  I find Mon Parfum Cristal to be extremely sensual, erotic and ultra-feminine.  Warning: Never spray this fragrance on a whim!  The longevity and sillage are amazing. Sultry and gorgeous, Mon Parfum Cristal is not meant for office wear! Notes: Pink berries, pink pepper, cinnamon, Bulgarian rose, Madagascar vanilla, toffee, musk and amber.

Eric De Kolb Behind Flowers

Masque Milano Romanza (2016): This is the naughtiest narcissus perfume I've ever come across, and one of the most beautiful. Inspired by Oscar Wilde's "The Picture of Dorian Grey”, Romanza has the decadent elegance of the dandy who refuses to age, and cleverly puts the narcissus — the flower of grandiose self-love — at the center of a hedonistic bouquet of ylang ylang, jasmine and orange blossom. But while this could have been a chest-heaving floral, perfumer Cristiano Canali reins the composition in with ashy, bitter and woody counterpoints that give a sense of the decay beneath the loveliness. Magical. Notes: Absinth, orange blossom, angelica, violet leaf, narcissus, jasmine, vetiver, cedar, patchouli, amber, civet

Bruno Acampora Jasmin T: While I like jasmine in perfume, I don't often love it. Exceptions are usually reserved for those unashamedly indolic beauties of the past, Le Galion Jasmin and Coty Jasmin de Corse. Until now. Jasmin T is luminous, balancing the green, spicy freshness of the bloom against its rich, nocturnal fleshiness. It is sensual, full-bodied but not heavy. Where Romanza is the scent of twisted love, Jasmin T is the perfume of a garden tryst. Notes: jasmine,  cyclamen, cloves, mimosa and ylang ylang

 “Spring has sprung

The grass is riz

I wonder what

My perfume iz…”

Like much of the nation, the grass hasn’t “riz” much yet here in the cool, grey PacNW. So to force myself in a spring-like mood there is a scent that lift my spirits sky-high every time I spray. Bruno Fazzolari’s stunning 2014 Au Dela Narcisse Des Montagnes, is an abstract narcissus perfume grounded by oakmoss and amber, and rich with lush jasmine, bright orange blossom, blooming narcissus, and pithy bergamot. A beautiful creation, originally a limited edition, but just recently added to the permanent line-up and how great that is!

Spring is here but winter is still lingering around in San Francisco. I keep taking out my spring scents but later falling back on winter colognes as the temperature keeps going from cool to warm and back and forth. So for days like this, when my mood is as changeable as the weather I reach for Neela Vermeire Creations Bombay Bling one of my favorite “anytime, anywhere” fragrances. This is one of the few perfumes that make me happy when the weather can’t make up its mind. Bombay Bling transports me to a warm, breezy, tropical oasis surrounded by palm trees, beach waves hitting against the shore and sipping on countless cocktails. I'm there already! Notes: Mango, lychee, blackcurrant, cardamom, cumin, cistus, Turkish rose, jasmine sambac, ylang-ylang, tuberose, plumeria, gardenia, patchouli, tobacco, sandalwood, cedar, vanilla

Now this is a challenge, two, only two springtime favorites whilst I languish here in the Southern Hemisphere, withstanding a deluge via a tropical cyclone. Yet part of my inner workings is still online with the North. For pure immersion into bright expansion, and clear mind-blowing alacrity, clearing the way, my two for Spring are:

2015’s Aer by Angela Ciampagna,  the precise aromas of green spears breaking damp spring soil, seeking with an urgent straining the light of day. The air is alive  with a fresh irreverence  that hints at the burgeoning of life unconstrained. Aer is a rare facet of all that is new and fresh in a convivial zephyr, a unique take on vetiver with a vintage flare. Notes: lemon, mint, yellow grapefruit, juniper berries; elemi, vetiver and patchouli.

2013’s Luce by meo fusciuni: The inspiration for Luce comes from the words of American architect Louis Kahn, "I believe that light is the source of all matter is the presence and light worn. What light creates, casts a shadow, and the shadow belongs to light. Perceive the presence of a threshold, which separates the light from the silence, the silence that brings to light, immersed in an atmosphere inspired, where the desire to be and to express meets as possible". The rock, the river, the wind are sources of inspiration. First with amazement and then consciously we observe what beautiful is the matter. In the sanctuary of art, the light meets the silence and the silence the light". Meo's hand again crafts a whisper that encompasses my entirety. Piercing the darkness as an illumination of pure Light, there is no mistaking its purpose. No casual shedding of flickers of radiance, it is commanding in its luminousity and as direct as a beacon.  The season encapsulated, warmth and light not just seen and felt but the very stirrings within us as we wake with arms held wide open, an exuberant salutation at the crossing place. Luce is the dawn and heating land under a renewed Sun. Notes: Leather, Cedar, Birch, Sandalwood, Patchouli, Tobacco, Amber, Vanilla, Benzoin

John Rawlings for Vogue, March 1943

This year I nick-named spring “Jan-June”. In New York City, the temps have been capricious; balmy summer heat one day and snow the next. I am cautiously optimistic that spring has sprung. I attended events and fairs over the few past months, and it was difficult to look sophisticated when I was coated with sweat on the unseasonably hot days, or trudging through snow in Uggs the next. No matter the weather, I find myself reaching for Elisire’s elegant Poudre Desir. I am very picky about iris perfumes, which sometimes smell too rooty or icy cold on my skin. Poudre Desir has a retro vibe and brings back memories of my glamorous mom applying her makeup at her dressing table, then dabbing scent on each wrist. It opens with a juicy bergamot then segues right away into a non-indolic gardenia and jasmine bouquet that unfurl their white petals as if shedding layers of clothing. These are not diva white florals and they sing in harmony around a buttery golden iris. The florals are so well-blended ;the composer is Master Perfumer Alberto Morillas.  At the base is a gorgeous heliotrope, redolent of candy coated almonds and a trace of musk. After months of parkas and boots, its time to bare a hint of skin. Notes: Bergamot, Mandarin, Pink Pepper, Iris, Egyptian Jasmin, Jasmin Petals, Gardenia, Musks, Cedarwood, Heliotrope

The two that most intrigue me are masque milano romanzo for naughty interpretation of narcissus and Brune Fazzolari for abstract intepretation of narcissus. The spring has been quite a confusing weather here in NY, sometimes it is hot, sometimes rain comes out of nowhere. Well, NY’s weather has always been a mystery even to its residents 🙂 My choices for this draw will be:

    Masque Milano Romanza
    AER
    Neela Vermiere Bombay Bling

    I am in the US.

  • Danu Seith-Fyr says:

What a fabulous array of welcoming changes to the warmer seasons as I sit here in a New Zealand autumn awaiting the landfall of Cyclone Cook.
Thank you everyone for the blast of hope and beginnings to the other side of the globe.

  • GrandmaGaga says:

I live in the Desert Southwestern US and spring here is really ‘early summer’…we’ve had temperatures nearing 100 on a couple days already but in general it has been lovely. I love all of your springtime choices but several leave me drooling: M. Micallef Mon Parfum Cristal would be my first choice and then Poudre Desir, Romanza, Bombay Bling and Sakura. Thank you all so much for the chance!

  • I live in Cleveland where we can have a cookout with 80+ temperatures inland and 55 next to the lake, and 6 inches of snow a day later. All our fruit trees are blooming this week–peach, pear, plum and apple. Lilac is getting ready and magnolia beat everyone! What I like–the elements of decay or growth grounding spring florals. I would like the Neela Vermiere Bombay Bling or Luce.

  • Here on the west coast, spring has been an absolute deluge. Any ray of sunshine, no matter how brief, has strangers smiling and declaring “SUN” to each other.

Thank you for the fabulous list, each of your perspectives on which fragrances sing spring to you was a very fun read. Of the whole lost, I’ve only tried Bombay Bling! This inspired me to go out some on and I smell terrific 🙂

I’d be so happy to win the Mon Parfum Cristal, and Aer sounds very lovely too. I’m in Canada.

  • I am from Philadelphia and day last month it was 74 and three days later snowing. Definitely thought this was the craziest weather I can remember. Lots of great choices here and good descriptions. I wish there was a sampler of all 10. I would love to win Mon Parfum cristal, Sakura, poudre dèsir for my wife and I have really wanted to try meo fusciuni and Angela campaigna because I don’t know if they are available in the US
Thanks for everything you guys are the best

  • Lellabelle says:

Some great choices here, and a couple of houses that are new to me (always an enjoyable discovery!)

I’m loving that there are a few narcissus scents on the list – I’ve been craving narcissus scents this spring, perhaps because it’s been such a cold, wet winter and we’re only just getting the first signs of new life here.

I’d love to win the MM Romanza, for the winning description of “the naughtiest narcissus”! Also, anything that’s inspired by A Picture of Dorian Grey has my attention! Canada, please and thank you to all the generous perfumers who’ve enabled the draw!

  • The spring choices are on point–the first florals of the season to lift us out of the winter doldrums! I would love to win Bombay Bling, Sakura, or Dandelion Fig. Winter here is almost over, still not short sleeve weather and only a bit of snow left. I live in the northern Midwest (US).

  • Patrick Echevarria says:

Great choices for spring that I would love to own. Bombay Bling and Dandelion Fig interests me so winning either of the two would be perfect. This is such a great raffle/draw. Thanks to your generosity guys! San Diego has been on and off turning warm and back to cold as if it can’t make up it’s mind. Regardless,it is officially Spring so these choices are just as perfect! San Diego here.

  • Hikmat Sher Afridi says:

Yes Spring here is in the middle stage rather final stage. the temperature is warm now. Wonderful and alluring perfume picks for spring with some details and reviews. Thanks for the generosity and my choices for the draw:
    1) Masque Milano Romanza
    2) Neela Vermeire Bombay Bling
    3) M. Micallef Mon Parfum Cristal
    4) Olympic Orchids Sakura
    Peshawar, Pakistan

  • I found all of these spring perfumes interesting enough to read and smell but the ones that draw my attention were:
Mon-Parfum Cristal because I was intrigued by the notes description: a smoky glowing “toffeed” rose suffused with a bright, fruity vanilla and Micallef’s signature woods, and
Elisire’s elegant Poudre Desire for I love Iris scents and the rest of the notes bergamot, Mandarin, Pink Pepper, Egyptian Jasmin, Jasmin Petals, Gardenia, Musks, Cedarwood, Heliotrope

Here the spring is Jan June as dear Michelyn calls it too, but in a more Greek like manner. But as the saying says: the April showers will bring May flowers, spring is on its way and no one can deny this! I am happy now that the days are brighter and the sunshine tends to last somewhat longer!

My choices in case it happens to be one the fortunate ones are:
    Masque Milano Romanza
    Neela Vermeire Bombay Bling
    M. Micallef Mon Parfum Cristal
    Olympic Orchids Sakura
    Poudre Desir
    AER
    Shay & Blue London’s 2017 Dandelion Fig

Thank you for the lovely review and generous draw!
I am a registered reader living in EU.

  • Portland’s typical chilly and wet reputation remains intact this spring. Ah well.

Bombay Bling is about as good as the magical art of perfume gets, magnificent stuff and I’m glad to see it listed here.

Thanks for the hot tips on what to wear as the sun comes back.

    Masque Milano Romanza
    Neela Vermeire Bombay Bling
    Elisire Poudre Desir
    Olympic Orchids Sakura
Shay & Blue London Dandelion Fig

    I’m in soggy Portland, Oregon.

  • Richard potter says:

They all sound lovely. I adore Au Dela Narcisse and Romania. I would love to try the Mon Parfumerie Cristal.

  • marcopietro says:

At this time in Italy the weather is perfect, sunny days and mild temperatures. Running outdoors is the perfect activity to enjoy this magical moment; colors, sounds and smells in the air take care of every malady of the soul.
All the fragrances described in the article appear to have the same soothing power.
here my choices for the draw:
    – Masque Milano Romanza
    – Angela Ciampagna AER
    – Olympic Orchids Sakura
I am a registered reader living in EU.
    Thanks for the draw!

  • Here in Southern Illinois Spring has been very nice with a little rain and pleasant temps. Such a wonderful time… I Love Spring! THANK YOU so much for chance to win such interesting fragrances of spring! Here are the scents that my wife and myself think we would love to put our noses around…
    1. Aer Angela Ciampagna
    2. Masque Romanza
    3. Mon Parfum Cristal M. Micallef
    4. Dandelion Fig Shay & Blue London

    THANK YOU AGAIN!

  • cardinalmind says:

Out of all the spring perfumes chosen, the M. micallef parfum crystal is fascinating me. Some of them just sounds okay for me but that micallef, romanza and the Poudre Desir sounds perfect for spring. Enter me for all of them, as any of these will not only be mine but will be brought to any small fragrance head meetups near me. The fine weather this spring makes me a bit uneasy since I know summer is coming too. I’m in the US (California).

  • I have found a some interesting names in your lists and a few I didn’t know of; overall they sound really nice. Spring has come here and mostly the days are sunny and more warm than cold. I live in the EU.
My choices if I’d win are:
Masque Milano for 35 ml of Romanza
Angela Ciampagna for 100ml of AER
Neela Vermeire Creations a Take Two of Bombay Bling
    M. Micallef Mon Parfum Cristal

  • As always, it is great to read about all your choices, and I’m especially happy to read that Bruno Fazzolari has brought back Au Dela Narcisse des Montagnes. (Now I have no excuse not to try it.)’Spring has been chillier and rainier than usual here in California, but I can’t complain. I’d be happy to win any of the prizes, but especially Neela Vermiere Creations Bombay Bling (the review rang absolutely true for me), Masque Milano Romanza (I could use more in my life), Elisire Poudre Desir, and meo fusciani Luce. Thank you, and may the rest of your April be lovely.

  • lorenzo.belardinelli says:

Hi there, here in Italy springtime is becoming hotter and hotter, and right now temperatures are far more similar to those oj June than the “real” April…Climatic changes on the run… 🙁
To say that I’m worried by all that is to say the least.
Anyway, lots of nice fragrances in this draw!
    Here my choices:
    – Masque Milano Romanza
    – Olympic Orchids Sakura
I am a registered reader living in Italy.
    Thanks for the draw!

  • All of these perfumes sound really nice!
I’m from Spain but currently in Germany. Here, it’s cloudy day, it will probably rain later.
    I would love to try:
    Take Two of Bombay Bling
    M. Micallef Mon Parfum Cristal
    Angela Ciampagna AER
    Masque Milano Romanza
    Elisire Poudre Desir

Thank you so much for the great draw!

  • I am in the US and we finally are seeing warm weather Afte lots of rain and cold overcast
    Great list
My favorite would be Bombsy Bling. Masque Milano Romanza, Elisire poudre , meo fusciuni Luce and Angela Campaigna Aer
    Thank you

  • Love this list! I’m a fan of green perfumes and green florals and loved how many choices you provided and examples of treating this genre. Early spring flowers like narcissus and lilac are so special and fleeting, thank you for the chance to experience these scents. I’m in the US and would love any of the following: Shay and Blue Dandelion Fig, Micallef Mon Cristal, Bombay Bling, Luce, or Poudre Desir.

  • Really great list and quite a few unexpected surprises like Bombay Bling, which actually is a good choice for anytime. I would love to win any of these and I definitely want to search out Jasmine T and Elisir Poudre Desir regardless. Mon Cristal, Romanza, Poudre Desir, meo fusiunio Luce and Angela Ciampagna AER, Shay and Blue Dandelion and Fig

  • Spring here mostly was sunny but a little cloudy and a also had little rain. I very like the spring. These perfumes are all sounds incredibly fabulous, and their bottles are very lovely also. I would very glad If I would win one of these.
    My winning choices:
    – 100ml bottle of M. Micallef Mon Parfum Cristal
    – 100ml of AER
    – 30 ml Shay & Blue London’s 2017 Dandelion Fig
    – 35 ml of Romanza

    – 30 ml of Olympic Orchids Sakura
    – 50 ml of Poudre Desir
    – Luce 5 x 10 ml
Thank you for the draw. I live in Europe.

  • Loved the entries. Thank you very much. I am yet to try Masque Milano fragrances. The weather here is quite sunny but evenings are so much better. I enjoy wearing Baruti s Indigo and Vioyance a lot. Just in case I have a chance I d love to have the Romanza sample. Thanks you.

  • Dubaiscents says:

We had more rain here in the UAE than usual this spring but, sadly, it is already getting hot with temps over 100 degrees again. I love wearing Au Dela Narcisse Des Montagnes in the spring but, I would love a bottle of Masque Milano’s Romanza for even more Narcissus!

  • Can I win them all lol? I loved the reviews of Sakura, Mon Parfum Cristal and Poudre Desir. The weather sure has been crazy.
30 ml of Olympic Orchids Sakura
    50 ml of Poudre Desir
100ml bottle of M. Micallef Mon Parfum Cristal
    100ml of AER
    30 ml Shay & Blue London’s 2017 Dandelion Fig
    35 ml of Romanza
    Take Two of Bombay Bling
    Luce 5 x 10 ml

  • I’m not able to say if it’s a “good” Top 10 spring perfumes list, because I only know Romanza… But if they are all as good as this last one, it’s indeed a very good Top 10 list !

    My choices would be :
    1. Masque Milano – Romanza
    2. Angela Ciampagna – AER
    3. Meo Fusciuni – Luce
    4. Neela Vermeire Creations – Bombay Bling

And the weather in Paris is quite delightfull these days…

    I’m in the EU.
    Many thanks for the draw!

  • While I have not had a chance to try many of the ones you mentioned I can attest that the Micallef Mon Cristal is quite beautiful. From the sound of it all of those would be wonderful choices for spring. I personally love a good powdery floral for spring and something green and crisp. I would be happy to win any of these beautiful choices. However as I look out my window her at work today, it is a rainy cool spring day here. I am in the US and appreciate all the generous perfumers and Cafleurebon for offering such great fragrances.

  • I’m a bigfan of atypical white florals so, I’m much intrigued by Romanza, Jasmine T and Narcisse des Montagnes! Spring has been slow to come to Ontario, and Winter left me with such a nasty cold I still can’t sniff a thing 🙁 Happily, things are warming up and we should progress quickly from crocuses to cherry blossoms , and on to a riot of flowers and sunshine.
I adore Bombay Bling so, that’s my first choice for the draw, second up would be Romanza and then Olympic Orchids Sakura

    Katja in Canada

  • This top spring list is great and there’s several catching my eye: Bombay Bling (love when a perfume is able to invoke such vivid imagery!), Poudre Desir (adore gardenias and the idea of subtle non-diva white florals), and Mon Parfum Cristal (I will always welcome a gourmand floral, especially one with toffee). Spring is probably my favorite time of the year when it comes to fragrances. I’ve been wearing Hummingbird by Zoologist a lot lately and I think it captures the essence of spring quite nicely. As for the weather, here in California it’s been very wet.. I actually had to buy rain boots for the first time. I really enjoy rainy overcast weather though, so no complaints from me! 🙂

  • I live in New England and the weather has been wonky this winter and spring. To paraphrase Mark Twain – if you don’t like the weather in New England, wait 10 minutes. Spring is the happy season for me and all the Spring Perfumes that I recognize are happy fragrances! In the US.
    My choices:
    Take Two of Bombay Bling
    Poudre Desir
    M. Micallef Mon Parfum Cristal

  • Love reading this reviews. Especially the Poudre Desir review spoke to me. Iris is also a difficult note for me, nevertheless I essentially love this note and I’m still looking for an iris fragrance for me.

    I would love to win:
    Neela Vermeire Bombay Bling
    Olympic Orchids Sakura
    Elisire Poudre Desir
    Meo Fusciuni Luce
    Masque Milano Romanza

Thank you for this lovely draw. I live in EU

  • I love Spring but my “spring” allergies are killing me….I haven’t tried any of these perfumes so all look and sound beautiful!

    I’d love to try:
    Neela Vermeire Bombay Bling
    Masque Milano Romanza
    Elisire Poudre Desir
    Micallef Mon Parfum Cristal

Thanks and good luck to all! USA

  • It feels like spring in themidwest sort of my choices are Luce Aer poudre desir romanza mon Parfum cristal Micallef poudre desir and take two

  • I’ve never tried any of the fragrances mentioned, so I will only comment based on the descriptions made in the article.
_Olympic Orchids – Sakura seems to be the only one depicting perfectly the spring. All the other ones appear more appropriate for the rest of the seasons. But because is fragile and has the cherry blossoms note, I will say that is not for me at all.
_Shay & Blue – London Dandelion Fig is intriguing. Very interesting notes.
_I don’t think I will appreciate M. Micallef Mon Parfum Cristal: I always get bored with sweet perfumes even if I find them interesting, no matter how luxurious they are.
_Masque Milano – Romanza appears to be complicated, bold, and not easy to wear. This I would like.
_Bruno Acampora – Jasmin T. If it is jasmin, even an easy one, then this could work.
_Bruno Fazzolari – Au Dela Narcisse Des Montagnes is probably another demanding scent.
_Neela Vermeire Creations – Bombay Bling is described as tropical but with solid notes like cistus, tuberose, patchouli, tabacco. It looks appealing.
_Aer – Angela Ciampagna seems intriguing, but not sure what to think from the depiction.
_Luce – Meo Fusciuni is probably the most audacious of all the scents presented in this article: leather-woods-tabacco. It must be amazing.
_Elisire – Poudre Desir would probably be a good spring perfume: powder and make-up vibes. It looked good at the beginning, but then the “candy coated almonds” remark made me take a step back. I’m on the fence with this one for I’m a non-lover of sweet fragrances.

It would be nice to win Bombay Bling, Romanza, London Dandelion Fig, Luce.
As for how weather was here in spring, I would say that has kept with the norm meaning that it was cold in the morning and very warm at midday. Nothing out of ordinary for a temperate continental climate like the one in Romania.

    Thank you for this draw.

  • NiceVULady says:

I know very little about your choices, except what I read, but they seem marvelous from that vantage point. I would love to win the Bombay Bling, Poudre Desir,, Romanza, and the Luce. Thanks for the draw. i live in the USA

  • I can call them a very-niche choices for the spring. Because, I have never tested them. I like more green/vetivery perfumes rather than floral. Based on that my choice if I win will be Romanza masque or AER.
Thank you for the generous draw. Live in the US.

  • BethMongold says:

I haven’t tried many of these and my curiosity is sparked. I do love Bombay Bling so much and own a bottle–I need to pull it out of the cabinet! Spring in Colorado this year has been concerningly warm and without moisture. I adore lilacs as well and they’re just beginning to bloom. Heaven!

I would be happy to win:
    1. Masque Milano Romanza
    2. Micallef Mon Parfum Cristal
    3. Olympic Orchids Sakura
    4. Poudre Desir

    Thank you!

  • Elizabeth T. says:

I love these Favorites articles. It’s a glimpse of each person’s personal preference, and I love hearing about the latest and greatest that I (usually) have not sniffed myself. All the perfumes described sound fabulous, but I would especially love to try Dandelion Fig, Aer, and Poudre Desir.
I would be tickled to win anything! Especially with the spring weather having finally arrived. Thank you for the article and draw! USA.

  • Tina Boknosov says:

I don't know these perfumes only a few by name. I would love to experience beautiful florals and greens in these very pretty bottles Take Two Bombay Bling Sakura Poudre Desir Aer Luce Dandelion Mon Parfum Cristal I live in EU it is cold still here

  • I’m always intrigued to see what others enjoy in the fragrance choices with the
changing of seasons. There are certain ones that we always fall back on. I loved everyone’s choices some of which I was not familiar with.
Would love Poudre Desire, Dandelion and Fig, and Mon Parfum Cristal, and Sakura.
Thanks for sharing your favorites for spring.

  • Spring here! The crocus are blooming, the Forsythia is opening its buds, and a pair of vultures are having a romantic moment on my lawn.

Amazing perfume choicesI I’d love to try:
Neela Vermeire Creations a Take Two of Bombay Bling
    M. Micallef Mon Parfum Cristal
    Masque Milano Romanza
    Elisire Poudre Desir

I live in EU, Poland to be specific. So far the sprint weather has been great, but since about two days it is pouring and cold.
I think that your sellection is pretty good. I would and more green, fougere perfumes. In warm spring I would wear Royal Vintage and in cold Memoir Man
My choice is Mon Parfum Cristal from my favourite brand M. Micallef!

  • I like Lauryn’s description of Masque Milano’s Romanza, although I would also love to try Bombay Bling… anything reminiscent of spring is welcome now that the weather is starting to turn up here in Canada! Thank you for the draw.

I enjoyed reading about Danu’s choice of Luce. i love when I learn something new. I had never heard of the architect Louis Khan. Now I’m off to investigate.
I’m spending the spring–where it’s autumn–in São Paulo, Brazil. Here the weather is so changeable– hot, cool, rainy, sunny, drizzly, grey. I love it.
    I would choose:
    M. Micallef Mon Parfum Cristal
    Romanza
    Luce
    Sakura

    I live in the USA.

  • The spring is here and I am enjoying it with the warmer weather, fewer clothes and spring perfumes. I am linking your choices, they are not obvious ones and I have put a few on my test list. I live in the EU.

Masque Milano for 35 ml of Romanza
Angela Ciampagna for 100ml of AER

  • It was a thrill to read all of the spring perfume choices. I especially enjoyed Lauryn’s mention of Romanza. I lucked into smelling it recently, a daring, dark narcissus, perfect for spring and deserving of year-round adoration. I would love to try all of the scents featured here! It’s an inspiring spring collection. I love this season and its fragrances. Were I to choose just one, I would say I’m most captivated by Michelyn’s mention of Poudre Desir. It sounds deliciously on point for the warming days and cool nights of the past few weeks. I am in the US and remain grateful to CaFleureBon for navigating the fragrant landscape with perfect precision and grace.

All of these sound like really artistic and fabulously seasonal choices… it’s hard to really narrow it down but I will –
    Masque Milano Romanza,
    Elisire Poudre Desir,
    Olympic Orchids Sakura,
Bruno Fazzolari’s Au-Dela Narcisse des Montagnes (Oh my, yes!)
Thanks for the beautiful post, I will one day have to try each of these!
    I’m in the US.

  • My spring weather has been expensive. A storm tore huge branches off my trees, which we are still sawing up and hauling, and a big branch flattened the roof of a jeep I had rented for the weekend. Other than that, it’s been lovely. Wow, some gorgeous choices here. I am very curious about the Bruno Fazzoli Narcisse one because I keep hearing how good it is. I would be quite happy to receive any of these bottles, but I’ll list my most, most wanted:
    1. Bombay Bling
    2. Shay & Blue Dandelion Fig
    3. Elisire Poudre Desire
    4. Romanza
    5. Sakura
    6. Mon Cristal
    7. Any of the others!
Thank you to the perfumers for their generous contributions.
    Happy Easter

  • The flowers began to bloom and cherry blossoms began to bud then froze. I hope spring has sprung finally.
Very nice list and I have read so much about all these perfumes and loved your descriptions of each.
Would love Romanza, Bombay Bling, poudre desir, mon Parfum cristal, dandelion and fig, Luce and Aer. I did buy a sample of au Dela de narcisse de montagnes by Bruno Fazzolari but did not *love it* the Bruno Jasmine T sound lovely though
    Thank you for the drawing

  • The choices were great. They covered quite a wide range of “weathers” and moods. Wish there was one catered more to the chilled days.

I’d like to win Dandelion Fig the most, in addition to, AER, Mon Parfum Cristal, Bombay Bling, Romanza, and Luce.

The weather here has been mostly hot, which I dislike. Funny enough, it rained on the last 2 days.

    Sakura
    Jasmine T

Thanks so much for these great fragrances:) Im in the USA

  • Oh and I really liked how the top ten weren’t all new fragrances. Good to remind us of these gems that have come out the last few years:)

  • Spring comes slowly to Seattle, so I could use a little fragrance pick-me-up to remind me that the rain will eventually stop and the sun will eventually shine. Most appealing of all is a tropical vacation in a bottle like Take Two of Bombay Bling, but I would also be thrilled to win Mon Parfum Cristal, Romanza, Poudre Desir, or Dandelion Fig. I’m in the US. Thanks!

  • ntabassum92 says:
