Dear Cafleurebon,

We love this 'water' fragrance from Christopher Brosius of  CB I Hate Perfume Tea/ Rose, for its incredible olfactive beauty and high quality ingredients of Tea (Indian Black) and real Moroccan Rose Absolute (Rosa Damascena).

In our eyes its the perfect rose for your birthday. We dedicate  Maria Callas's Costa Diva to Michelyn, Ida, and the team at CaFleureBon .

Best wishes,

Jan Hoyer and Tom Hoyer-Kast

 Chad Murawczyk

Congratulations on such a successful first year!

In honor, we at MiN New York would like to dedicate the beautiful scent of NOBILE 1942 Estroverso.  “ESTRO is the Italian word for inspiration, intuition, and momentum. Combined with VERSO (against) it conveys a passion that follows its own intuition and inspiration against all odds, the fragrance preludes with sparkling fresh notes of lemon, orange, tangerine and bergamot. The spicy heart is dominated by lime, rosemary and mugwort, which are complemented by a warm-soft base of cedar wood, vetiver, patchouly, musk and amber notes.

All our best , Chad Murawczyk

Editor's Note: Maria Callas- Thanks to Dr. Silvio Levi for this translation (La regina, la diva, la divinità vocale mi fa sempre venire i brividi)  The queen, the diva, the vocal goddess whose singing makes me shiver  With so many friends around the world ..who needs Google translator!

This draw is for two fragrances. Please specify in your comment which one you would like Note: whilst both are shared fragrances, Tea/ Rose leans more feminine of the two.  In addition, please pick your favorite interview, article, or review that mentions MinNewYork or CB I Hate Perfume. Draw ends March 19 at 5:00 pm est, 2011.

Hello again! My favorite CB Ihate Perfumes article was the Personal Chemistry where he talks about musk. I'd love to win the Estroverso. Thanks once again and this has been an awesome week reading all the good articles from the archives. Have a great weekend!

  • Hi!

My favorite CB I hate Perfume article was Mr. Hulot’s Holiday- Liquid Martha’s Vineyard.

And of course the interview with Mr. Brosius.
As I said long time ago, if I had to pick only two brands that I have never tried, I would choose CB I Hate Perfume and Tauer. So please, enter me in the draw for Tea/Rose. I would be really happy if I won. Thank you!

  • I would be interested in the Tea/Rose as rose is probably my favorite note in fragrance and tea usually adds a quiet, soothing quality.
I really did enjoy  the article on Musk by Christopher Brosius…and what to say about "la divina Callas"? I think I am speechless at that. Her voice was out of this world.

  • ElizabethN says:

My favorite article (but it was hard to choose) was Michelyn's on Musk and Personal Chemistry. Really well-written article. I also like the Samhain article for the poem – WOW. please enter me in the draw for the Tea/Rose scent, and thank you!

  • My pick would be the Tea Rose. I have not read enough articles to post which particular one I would choose :(. but am going to now. I have always wanted to try Burning Leaves, At the Beach and Mr Holut's Holiday as well. I have read many mnay articles on the boards and reviewers on these. Does that count?????

  • I would love the Tea/Rose I believe. I really liked the article on musk as well. It's really interesting to me how personal chemistry plays a part.  Thanks so much for all the great draws!

  • Love Maria Callas, nice choice! Wow, hard choice. Probably Tea Rose for me..
My favorite CB so far is Burning Leaves. I really enjoyed the Musk article!

  • The musk article is sure getting a lot of votes! LOL….yeah, it was a good one. 🙂
I'm glad for MiNewYork which I've only recently discovered!  God, I love a perfume store!
CB Tea/Rose pretty much has my nostrils quivering….. rose'll do that .
Happy St. Patty's day everyone!!! ~R

  • I enjoyed the article: Oscar Spot light Part 1,,,where and the old movies I loved were mentioned.  MinNewYork gave away Caron Poivre,  (didn't win,,,but love this peppery one).
The CB article around Christmastime mentioned fir and Gingerbread accords.  I also mean to sample the very exclusive "Cradle of Light",,sometime.
    I would appreciate either perfume:)

I'd love to enter for the Estroverso. And my favorite article about CB I Hate Perfumes is the one about musk, I have to try that one and a bunch from that house. Thanks for entering my name in the draw.

  • Oh gosh. Maria's voice and the notes of fragrance. What an idea….Whew! Chad and Mindy you are stars too!  CaFleuerBon so refreshing what a great team.
    We love you
    Sarah Pink xxxxx

  • Great read as always. I have Patchouli Nobile and love it. I would like another bottle from them.

    Cheers!

  • Musk and Personal chemistry was a great read.
NOBILE 1942 Estroverso is my choice. I have 3 of the Nobile 1942 (Patchouli, Ponte W and Anonimo) and love all of them. Hopefully Min will bring the whole line and not only 3 choices like LS.

  • The Personal Chemistry post was my favorite and at the risk of sounding like a broken record, I really enjoy the interviews.  However, the post about The Scent of New Fallen Snow had me excited about our first snowfall. I'm way over that now but at the time, I was rather enchanted!

If I were to win, I'd choose Estroverso.

  •  I would love to try the Tea/Rose. One of my favourite articles about CB I Hate perfumes is the review of 2nd Cumming back in January. I so love Alan Cumming's acting and the fragrance sounds intriguing. And of course I enjoyed Monica's interview with Christopher Brosius which I have commented on before.
But I wouldn't be disappointed to receive the NOBILE 1942 Estroverso. When it comes to MiN New York, I was moved by the article "Love, War and Fragrance" about the history of Caron which celebrated the opening of the Caron Boutique at MiN.
Thanks for the Callas and the draw.

  • Claudia Kroyer says:

My favorite mention was CB i hate 2nd cumming, when cumming once is not enough. The title itself cracked me up. How fitting. So fun to read all the Birthday wishes. Please do not enter me in this drawing……..

  • My favorite article that mentions MinNY – the Oscar article that focused on classic movies.  I love classic films.  Favorites are anything with Audrey Hepburn…and Katherine Hepburn…and Cary Grant!
Please include me for the draw of NOBILE 1942 Estroverso.  Thank you!

My favorite article mentioning CB I Hate Perfume was : Room with a view  Metamorphosis #4  because I really enjoy violets. I really would love to try Tea/Rose. Thanks

  • I also liked the May article on CB I HAte Perfume on Room with a View. I found this interesting, as it touched on the whole Metamorphosis series and mentioned one of my favorites, Black March.  (I need to pull that one out now in anticipation of spring days!)  I would love to try the Tea/Rose . Thank you.

  • Nobile 1942 is probably my favorite house…Anonimo veneziano is a breathtaking fragrance !
I would love to win a bottle of EstroVerso .
MiN NY sponsors so many of your drawings , they are so very generous and I loved their new shop when I visited during Sniffa ( and got to see the dear Sarah Barton King ) .
My favorite article mentioning them was probably Oscar Spotlight Part 1 .
Thank you for another wonderful drawing , and HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY . Your blog is so inspiring .

  • Thank you for yet another fabulous draw!
I would love to win EstroVerso.
My favorite article mentioning CB I Hate Perfume is the one about musk from 12/13/2010.  I cannot believe I did not read this article until now.  It was really helpful to me, since in this article Christopher Brosius describes what real musk smells to him… and all of a sudden many things I've experienced with fragrances started to make sense to me the way they never had before.  You see, I have a musky skin (according to Dawn Spencer Hurwitz).
On MinNewYork, I loved the article about Carons.  Hard to forget the thrill of a draw for Tabac Blond!

  • My favorite articles about CB I hate perfumes are the one about the musk and also when he announces the second Cumming, it was pretty funny. Please enter me for the Estroverso.

  • my favorite article on CB IHP was an interview with Christopher Brosius by Skye. He's such an unusual person 🙂 i'd love to win Tea/Rose, tea beaing one of my ever favorite scents!

  • Myra Clements says:

Wow! I loved all of the articles I read on CB I Hate Perfume.. it's a hard choice. But since I have to pick, it would probably be the one on the 4 Yuletide scents. No further convincing for me; I wish I had bought these for Christmas last year – the Fir Tree and Gingerbread are on my "to buy" list for 2011 now lol! The article on Walking in the Air has intrigued me too; I just love CBIHP scents period 🙂
Thank you the draw and Happy 1st birthday!!
    Best wishes,
    Myra

  • Yay for drawings for perfume!!

I would love to win the Nobile 1942 because I loooove that bottle. My collection is small and growing, and I love a good bottle of good smelling fragrance!

My favorite article about CB I Hate Perfume was the one on the Alan Cumming fragrance. I haven't smelled the original but it's one of the only celebrity fragrances that I am really interested in, because there's just something… special/intimate/powerful about Alan Cumming. He has such great presence, and I imagine that this fragrance would have such great presence. 🙂 Every time I read about him and his projects, my respect grows.
