In 2010, cologne with sillage seemed like a contradiction in terms. For three hundred years, colognes were the '"step-children" of perfumery. All that changed when Creative Directors Sylvie Ganter Cervasel and her partner in life, business and love, Christophe Cervasel co-founded Atelier Cologne and created a new genre -the Cologne Absolue that had Eau de Parfum strength and longetivity. New to the Chic Absolue collection is Atelier Cologne Iris Rebelle, composed by Ralf Schwieger of Mane who blends Atelier Cologne’s signature natural citruses with Iris, one of the most expensive raw materials in the perfume world.
For Atelier Cologne Iris Rebelle, "iris from Morocco was favoured for its smooth, opulent quality. Orange blossom and bergamot from Calabria, signature notes of Cologne, convey freshness to vibrant black pepper. Rose from Grasse adds complexity to the delicate iris notes while gaiac wood, patchouli and white musk bring warmth to this powdery scent."
Atelier Cologne Iris Rebelle:Star notes are Iris from Morocco, Orange flower from Morocco and Gaiac wood from Central America; Supporting notes are:Bergamot from Calabria, Blackpepper from Vietnam, Lavender from Provence, Rose centifolia from Grasse, Patchouli from Indonesia and White musk accord
Atelier Cologne Iris Rebelle will be available January 2018 and on Sephora.com and at the Atelier Cologne Boutiques
