Azzaro Wanted By Night ~New Fragrance Review (Quentin Bisch/Michel Girard) + Party in the USA

Quentin Bisch and some of the perfumes he composed or co-created (photo by Quentin for ÇaFleureBon)

It’s not a secret that I adore perfumer Quentin Bisch who co-signed Azzaro Wanted by Night, personally as well as artistically. Quentin Bisch is a rising star at Givaudan who has composed designer fragrances including  Angel Muse and A*Men Ultra Zest (reviewed here) by Sebastian), Azzaro Pour Homme Free Light, Missoni, 7 for Lowe Sport and niche fragrances including Etat Libre D’Orange La Fin du Monde, Marc Antoine Barrois B683 and one of my signature scents Ex Nihlio Fleur Narcotique. He’s so talented that I blind buy when I know he's involved with the perfume.

Azzaro Wanted By Night by Sebastian for CaFleureBon©

Sebastian requested to review Azzaro Wanted By Night, an oriental woody eau de parfum which he smelled in Macy’s a few weeks ago. Quentin is known for his deft use of raw materials;the cinnamon in Azzaro Wanted By Night is superb. Azzaro Wanted By Night is one of the best examples of a designer spicy oriental. It’s a fragrance you wear when you want to party, smell amazing and garner compliments day or night.-Michelyn Camen, Editor in Chief

  • I really enjoyed the first Azzaro Wanted and sampled Wanted by Night yesterday at Ulta for the first time, it was also really good. I’ve said it over and over on here and I always mean it. Sebastian is my favorite reviewer. You can tell he truly loves fragrances and isn’t just in it to make a fast dollar. He gives a great detail of the fragrance history or story if there is one, the note break downs and his honest opinion. All done in the perfect amount of time around 10min. He has amazing taste and doesn’t write off a fragrance just because it was a designer release. I always look forward to his educated reviews and I always have an extra ammount of knowledge after watching his videos. I know he loves cinnamon and mentions it in his review. Maybe i’m crazy but when I sampled this yesterday, cinnamon wasn’t the first note that came to mind. US

Sebastian’s reviews are always straight-forward and to the point. I really enjoy them. I’ve never tried any of the Azzaro fragrances, but this one with its cinnamon and cedar notes is very appealing. Many thanks for the draw. I’m in the USA

I sampled this one recently and I have to say it is really good. I love the cinnamon, I liked wanted but this is much better its deeper and more unique. I think sebastian broke this down perfectly. I would love to test this one more and just like the original I really like the bottle some people say its tacky but I think it’s really cool. Keep up the good work!

Always enjoy Sabastian’s reviews. Direct to the point and enjoyable. A noise that knows. I have not tried Azzaro Wanted by Night but would surely like to. 2

I absolutely adore Angel Muse (EDP) and Orange Zest – both by Quentin – and I’m pretty sure he did Le Male Essence de Parfum? I think…. Anyway I actually prefer By Night over the original Wanted, which is still my favourite iteration of the Invictus phenotype. I don’t really get the tea vibe that Sebastian mentioned, but more of a spicy fruitiness mixed with cypress (one of my favourite notes). So glad that he enjoyed it though considering his preferences are usually more distinguished; but despite expecting more cumin (like me), the woody-cinnamon combo is more than enough for a fun night out. Overall, a thumbs up. US.

Sebastian review are always great and I love the way cinnamon smells making this a very interesting take in a fragrance.

  • I originally didn’t expect much of this fragrance, but each time I’ve put it on my skin in my local Macy’s, I have been blown away with how much I enjoy it. Sweet, spicy cinnamon, woody; it comes off playful yet powerful. Sebastian affirmed all of my opinion with Wanted By Night in his review. I would love a chance to win a bottle of it!

  • David Smith says:

Always enjoy Sebastians reviews bc he seems to have the same taste in fragrances just like me.. Azzaro Wanted by nite has haunted me since I first smelled it.. would love to add this to my collection.. Thank you for the opportunity of a giveaway

  • Southernboy says:

What I like about this fragrance just has Sebastian said the cinnamon note . I sampled it the mall , was waiting to winter to get this fragrance.

  • fazalcheema says:

I can see why Sebastian did not review original Wanted since that was aimed at the young mainstream crowd. Wanted By Night does seem different. I am also the one who does not enjoy too intense cinnamon, only when its done right like in FdB. Thanks for the draw. I am in US.

  • Nicely done review by Sebastian. I’ve smelled the original and would like to try this one out. This one sounds a tad bit mature compared to the original. Haven’t tried Thanks for the giveaway. From U.S

  • newyork318 says:

This does sound good. I like cinnamon as a note. Haven’t yet gotten to try this one, but was impressed by B683.

  • Fusiongel says:

Nice review. I had the chance to sample this at my local mall a few weeks back. Cinnamon is at the forefront and it reminds me of cooler weather. Cheers from CT.

  • I need to get my nose on Azzaro Wanted by Night. Cinnamon and tobacco sound terrific. I love Angel Muse because of the vetiver
Nice video Sebastian. Going to Macy’s to check it out

  • Not family with this fragrance. Sounds fantastic however. Sebastian’s review was as detailed as ever. Very helpful.

  • Azzaro will always be close to my heart. The original Azzaro Pour Homme was my husband’s signature when I met him 25 years ago. I adore Azzaro fragrances and, Sebastian, love woody and spicy scents. So I would love to try this and create a new Azzaro moment for my husband and I to share. Thank you so very much! Michael

  • roxhas1cat says:

Fun and lively, that sounds like that’s for me! I need something fun and lively. I like that the cinnamon isn’t the “red hot” variety. Sounds a bit masculine, but I’d still love to try. My favorites from Quentin Bisch are: Delina, La Fin du Monde (although I don’t own it….yet) and Angel Muse. I don’t like Angel, but Angel Muse is fabulous! He’s one of my favorite perfumers as well. Thanks for the great review Sebastian!! USA.

  • samjones79 says:

    fingers crossed here thanks

  • Azzaro Wanted By Night seems to be a new fragrance based around cinnamon. A RAW spiced cinnamon as an oriental woody scent. Sounds GREAT! Count me in! Sebastian keep doing a good job! THANK YOU I do live in Southern Illinois…

  • Haven’t had a cinnamon scent in some time. Love the original Azzarao. This is the first I heard of Wanted by Night. I would like to garner compliments day or night. US

  • I have recently discovered that I realllly love cinnamon in fragrances. I am sort of upset with myself that I never gave it much of a chance until now. This is perfect timing! I would love to enter the giveaway. Again, Sebastian’s reviews are tops! He does such a nice, honest, and thorough job every time. You can tell he take a lot of care and pride in what he does, and it is inspiring! I have liked on Facebook and Instagram. Thank you for the opportunity!

  • jeremyn87 says:

I havent tried this scent, but it sounds good. I’m normally not so into a lot of the modern leather-spicy-boozy scents, but Azarro is known for doing these in a classic way. Plus, the addition of cumin seems like itd be less like Spicebomb or something like that.
Not sure if I’ve tried anything from this perfumer
    I’m in the US

  • Mr_Sillage says:

I was really really excited when this fragrance was getting released. As soon as it was available, I purchased the big boy and… Man, I’m glad I got the big one. I highly prefer this to the original. This one is confident with its self. It doesn’t demand attention, but rather, creates attention. It draws people in. When I saw the note list, i knew this was going to be a good one. Man, in happy to have this. * Obviously don’t include me in the giveaway, I busy wanted to share my quick thoughts.

  • I always look forward to reviews by Sebastian. This fragrance sounds phenomenal. I love spicy orientals. Cinnamon is one of my favorites in a perfume.
    I live in the US.

  • Always enjoy Sebastians reviews. He is always no nonsense and straight to the point. I haven’t tried Azzaro wanted by night but Sebastians description of it being sweet, spicy, boozy, woody sounds perfect. I’m in the United States, New York. Thank you for the giveaway!!

  • I tested this at Dillard’s a week ago and really loved the scent, I loved Sebastian’s expressions while talking about this. This is a good one!

  • I love that Sebastian talked about the cinnamon in the fragrance. I love cinnamon in almost anything. Great Review and want to truly put my nose on this fragrance. One Love!

Great review Sebastian, and thanks for the giveaway! My favorite part of your review would be how descriptive it was, and Azzaro By Night sounds amazing! I honestly had never heard of Quentin Bisch, but I definitely know Ultra Zest (GREAT FRAGRANCE) so that would be my favorite of his creations. Looking forward to trying Wanted By Night!

  • Bubeto_GG says:

Nice draw.Mandarin+cinnamon with tea like smoothness + tobacco and right amount of cumin in the drydown and nice woody notes – say no more…i’m in.
