Five Feminine Perfumes for Mother’s Day AI image by Steven

Mother’s Day 2026 in the USA is Sunday May 10th (but is celebrated on Sundays in March and June in other countries around the world). If it was up to us, Mother’s Day should be a global holiday. Not only do moms never get a day off, their special day is always Sunday (usually a day off for the rest of us). Our five feminine Mother’s Day perfumes are dedicated to all mothers and the maternal women who shaped our lives, (which might be you, your aunt, your sister, your friend, your own mom…  and those who live on in our memories. –Michelyn Camen, Editor-in-Chief and Steven Gavrielatos, Video Content Contributor

Here are Steven’s and Michelyn’s co-curated list for five feminine perfumes for Mother’s Day.

Vivamor Parfums Main Character. (Christian Provenzano under creative direction of Steven Gavrielatos): Vivamor Main Character is for the ultra-feminine mom. It doesn’t scream for attention; rather, it draws you in gathering compliments effortlessly because who could resist turning their head when enveloped in such a cloud of irresistible goodness. Main Character embodies the soft-spoken confidence of someone adorned in pastel hues-Olya Bar, Editor from her review here.

Notes: Pear Blossom, Italian Bergamot, Pink Peony, White Peach, Raspberry, French OrrisEgyptian Jasmine, Cotton Candy, Velvet MuskVanilla BeanSandalwood, Caramel.

Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga Elixir is a rose-centric perfume inspired by the historic Rosa Moceniga, a rose that grows in the gardens of Villa Moceniga Park in Alvisopoli and centers on a bright, dewy rose with a touch of fruit that keeps the perfume lively. Rosa is a bouquet of roses that will never wilt, which makes it an easy Mother’s Day choice. -Steven

Notes: Blood Orange, Lemon and Pear, Turkish Rose, Rose and Rose Water, Musk, Amberwood and Madagascar Vanilla.

Daisy Wild Eau So Extra by Marc Jacobs (Sonia Constant) is the latest installment in the Daisy collection. It features an ethereal jasmine noted combined with chocolate and banana for a unique flormand experience. The sweetness persists long into the dry down while the clean aura established by the jasmine conveys both charm, a sense of adventure and elegance- Steven

Notes Blue Banana Accord, Pear Nectar Accord, Italian Bergamot, Chocolate Daisy ScentTrek Jasmine Sambac Absolute, Chocolate Viennois Delight, Orange Flower Accord Vanilla Accord, Ambrofix, Sandalwood, Trio of Vetiver

Kajal ALMAZ (Rania Jouaneh) is the kind of fragrance that is perfect for those who mean the most to us. Its luminous blend of white florals, juicy fruits, creamy sandalwood, soft musk and a touch of sweetness from the brown sugar create a perfect balance of radiance and depth. I pick up the heliotrope, with its sweet, almond-like aroma which is as comforting as your mother’s hug. Almaz in Arabic means diamond, which are rare and singular–just as the women who wear Almaz. A brilliant gift for Mother’s Day or any day. -Michelyn

Notes: Calabrian bergamot, Black Currant, Amalfi Lemon, Mandarin Orange, Raspberry, Turkish Rose, Heliotrope and Orris, Madagascar Vanilla, Brown sugar, Sandalwood, Tonka Bean, Musk and Amber.

Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest (Nathalie Feisthauer) suits a modern mother who wants a breezy fragrance with an uplifting mix of fruits and delicate florals. She pays attention to ingredients, trusts the EWG VERIFIED™ certification, and prefers a perfume that stays close to the skin without turning heavy or loud. Be Rosy is easy going and carefree with a gentle skin-musk finish. Founders Caroline and Marilou are mothers (and sisters-in-laws). Perfumer Nathalie Feisthauer is a mother as well. -Michelyn

Notes: Clementine oil Italy, Carrot oil France, Pear accords, Osmanthus absolute, Orris butter, Black tea CO2, Cedarwood, Ambrox, Musk

The choices sound interesting and seem to be a good curation. However, I could really only speak to the Daisy one as the other ones I have not come across before. I would really love to see a tuberos scent in here!

The Kajal ALMAZ sounds interesting or the Daisy perfume. It wouldn’t be given to my Mumma unfortunately as we lost her 3 years ago so ut would go to my sisters

Thanks for the nice writeups , the video and the lists Redolessence and Michelyn Camen. I’m pleased by unique expressive Mother’s Day medium Michelyn Camen and Redolessence were able to find, exactly what I was looking for , still showing the proof of perfumery as true works of art. There are daring, pushing the boundaries fragrances as well as compliment getters of all kinds.
Mother’s Day to me is based more on love , appreciation, respect and personal connection , but also honesty.
I’ve sampled The Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga Elixir , to me is deeper and richer , yet also more jammy and sweeter compared to Redolessence perception.
Navitus Parfums are not easy to find in UK , cotton candy and fruits i like.
Other than the top quality ingredients in Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest , i like the originality of the fragrance and perfumer Nathalie Feisthauer.
I’m glad that Kajal Perfumes Almaz has made it to the lists. I really think that Kajal is a brand that with Moe Khalaf creativity and different talanted perfumers are always doing some interesting things with every single new release. With Michelyn Camen and Redolessence contribution I believe I found posh all year round scent. Dahab I currently own , my favorite Kajal Perfumes fragrance and I absolutely love to win Almaz with its ambery , woody , raspberry and brown sugar accords.
What i enjoyed the most in Michelyn Camen and Redolessence thoughts on all recommendations is the quality raw materials , the hints of elegance and eclectic dreams information , and also the sense of distinctiveness suited for mothers with acquired tastes
    Subscriber based in UK, cheers

From their co-curated lists, these five scents say spring and embody different qualities to celebrate mothers everywhere. The ones that stood out for me were Marc Jocobs Daisy Wild Eau So Extra a sweet scent with notes of banana, chocolate, and jasmine forward florals that Steve describes as charming, adventurous and elegant; Michelyn touts Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnes as the perfect scent for modern mothers who love vibrant, fresh, airy fruity florals that sit close to the skin but still announces its presence; both agree that Kajal Alamz is a gem for those that are as unique as it is with its flirty raspberry fruitiness, white florals, subtle sweetness from brown sugar, creamy sandalwood and soft musk—a gourmand with a nuanced profile that is comforting, romantic yet full-bodied and lustrous and truly special.

I love this idea a cance to try something new and feel appreciated all at the same time

  • choose KAJAL Almaz. Excellent feminine picks.
Steven: Crowd-pleasing – playful gourmand, elegant rose, fun floral-chocolate.
Michelyn: Deeper – radiant white florals plus raspberry comfort, breezy clean fruity-floral.
Overall – balanced, radiant, very giftable for Mother’s Day. Great job! I live in Poland, EU

  • Ramses Perez says:

I have been here every year for Mother’s Day and I love that the list always changes as we also change with the years. Vivamor Main Character like Michelyn said is for the ultra feminine and well Steven is a little biased here since he created but I see what drove him to come up with such a delicate but strong feminine fragrance. Rosa Moceniga Elixir is exactly what you see in the name, an overdose of rose but with a watery touch as well. Like Michelyn described it, a rose that never wilts. Daisy Wild is abnormal because this is a designer fragrance with a banana accord which is daring for the public. This is a flormand (gourmand and flowers) perfect for the mother that wants to be versatile. Almaz is a fragrance like Michelyn said that it’s luminous like a diamond which is the Arabic meaning. Steven mentioned the raspberry being prevalent here and with a touch of vanilla and the almond you truly feel like the diamond you’re meant to be. Be Rosy is for the conscious and ecological mothers that care about natural ingredients and the planet. Its EWG Verified status makes it suitable for any type of skin and although not a projection monster it does last on the skin for days. Should I be so lucky to win, I would go for Kajal Almaz. I follow CaFleureBonOfficial on IG and my username is Ramses.d.perez. I’m located in the USA.

  • I like how Steven talked about the richness coming from the osmanthus in the be rosy perfume. I also liked how Michelyn mentioned that it’s modern and breezy. The pear sounds amazing. I would love to win rosy and earnest be rosy. I live in Colorado USA. I’d want to give it to my mom.

  • Yolanda Hurd says:

I believe I started my fragrance collection by watching redolessence, and a few other Youtubers speaking about fragrances,
I have found myself loving all varieties of fragrances from men’s to women’s unisex leather, smoke, cognac, and even watermelon scents

  • LATONYA GIPSON-BOWMAN says:

    Wow, such a generous giveaway.
Any mother would be blessed to win either one of these, but if I had to pick it would definitely be Almaz by Kajal. That bottle screams, Happy Mother’s Day.
I think Steven and Michelyn, did a great job with the fragrances they picked in the lineup. The presentation of the bottles are beautiful. Thank you for the opportunity.. I live in Orlando Florida, USA

    Howdies people
    She’s no ordinary woman, She’s a Mom , Happy Mother’s Day ladies
I’m found of how Michelyn Camen and Redolessence decided to combine their slightly different reflections on the co-curated Mother’s Day fragrances , in a singular experience for the subscribers , nice idea.
Merchant of Venice is a brand I’d like to discover in full detail since I’ve only smelled Arabesque . Rosa Moceniga is a high-end rose fragrance with fruity and exotic structure.
Soft spoken conference with vanilla and cotton candy is interesting take of Mother’s Day experience, Vivamor Parfums Main Character sounds cozy.
Apparently Nathalie Feisthauer is not just an established perfumer, and with Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest she matched Michelyn Camen and Redolessence soft spot for art and creativity .
About ALMAZ the right way to start is with Moe Khalaf respectful nature known to all , then go the Arabic essence of Kajal , to their marvelous bottles , and then go to the present time with Michelyn Camen and Redolessence reviews.
Other than the Middle Eastern grace I’m also impressed by the fact that Kajal do collaborate with creative designers and artists like like Rania Jouaneh
ALMAZ is an elegant fragrance , where the fresh opening is easy to detect , but because of radiant raspberries , warm cassis and brown sugar possesses a comforting personality. Special fragrance i’d cherish if I win.
My previous experience with Kajal Parfums is limited to Lamar, I’m happy to have a bottle and I’d like to win ALMAZ.
    Million thanks EU

  • I have Main Character and really love it. The banana and chocolate notes in the Daisy perfume and very interesting and well done. This is a great list with something for everyone. I would love Kajal Almaz. Sounds amazing! UT, USA

  • jennapark says:

Happy Mother’s to all the mothers. I love being a mom my kids are everything to me. I love this list you both picked beautiful fragrances. Main Character sounds like something i would enjoy and need to sample. I’ve heard really good things about t Merchant of Venice and would love to try some of their fragrances. I watch a lot of Steven’s fragrance reviews he really tries to give you a feel for a scent. I also read a lot of Michlyn’s reviews and you can tell she has a passion for fragrance. She’s very descriptive and i appreciate that. I would love to win Kajal’s Alma’s it sounds like something i would enjoy. I am in the USA Pennsylvania

  • My choice: KAJAL ALMAZ ! Can’t wait to see how the brown sugar & sandalwood smothers out the fruits, which I imagine are going to have depth.

Merchant of Venice ROSA MOCENIGA is on my list to sample because I am all for exoticism but I hope it’s not as simple because I have about 40 rose fragrances already. Rose is my jam. But not as skin scent, which is why I am not choosing ROSY & Earnest BE ROSY although I am curious about what an Indy rose would smell like. I own MAIN CHARACTER, which is an energetic fruity marshmallow. I wouldn’t think of this as a “mom” fragrance because for me it’s a ‘I’m free, I have energy to play, and I’m carefree.”. Marc Jacob’s DAISY SO INTENSE is just another hit in a long line of successful flankers, so it’s almost a guaranteed hit. Steven made KAJAL ALMAZ sound so enticing! I’m into polarizing fragrances from Amouage, just about all of MONTALE’s unisex scents, TOM FORD D’HOMBRE LEATHER. I can tell from Steven’s intensity of his description for ALMAZ that this is special. Can’t wait to get my nose on it.

People are calling me old-fashioned nowadays, but just like Michelyn Camen, Cafleurebon Editor-in-Chief i also believe Mother’s Day should be a global holiday.
Vivamor Parfums Main Character and Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga Elixir are both excellent inspiration and comforting Mother’s Day fragrances .
I haven’t tried any Rosy & Earnest perfumes, but Be Rosy sounds like a great thing to wear! Iris and tea is a classy blend.
Cassis , brown sugar , combined with raspberries is a must try. The sandalwood and the comforting breeze seem to temper the overall sweetness in Almaz , so nice.
I have tried a dozen and own not one, but three Kajal perfumes III, IV and Äikan, and Almaz is a fragrance I’d love to add to my collection, and OMG that bottle is absolutely gorgeous! EU

  • Mr.Buchnick says:

Mother’s Day is definitely not a Hallmark holiday ,but indeed a special day dedicated to all mothers and maternal women who shaped our lives ❤
Not familiar with Vivamor Parfums, Merchant of Venice and Rosy & Earnest , fragrances, Main Character i find appealing for the rich vanilla bathed in musk and fruits , Rosa Moceniga Elixir for how effervescent it is ,and Be Rosy for the fruity and tea qualities.
I’m already a fan of Kajal fragrances — Lamar and Dahab — and Almaz looks like another winner. I’ve been leaning into raspberries and amber lately, and brown sugar, cassis and warm woods variety is something I’d love to try. There’s such a lovely sense of balance in Almaz too.
I live in the EU . And thanks to Michelyn Camen, Redolessence , Rosy & Earnest and Kajal Perfumes for making this Mother’s Day drawing possible

  • Christine Rex says:

Your videos are the first thing I search for when I go to YouTube. I love your content. I am 56 year old 60 hour a week working mother and grandma. Sometimes I just need an escape and fragrance has become that for me. Thank you for all you do. I really appreciate your insight on fragrance.

  • Painting_and_basketball says:

There’s nothing basic on Cafleurebon , even on the Mother’s Day theme fragrances and the fragrance information are multidimensional.
If Michelyn Camen and Redolessence are so found of Nathalie Feisthauer Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest the fragrance is no doubt spectacular.
I know Navitus and Vivamor Parfums are very big in US and Canada, I wish EU distribution was on pair because I’d like to try Main Character.
Haven’t smelled Rosa Moceniga yet but to my taste Queen of the Night is the best Merchant of Venice fragrance I know. The soft fruity and rose structure is so appealing.
Rania Jouaneh and Moe once again set the bar , really … really high with Almaz with some delectable sour and sweet raspberries and cassis , amber , woods , and the traditional Middle Eastern region influence behind Kajal fragrances .I love painting especially when I need to clear my mind , all Almaz shades are dear to my heart. What the bottle designer was able achieve with Almaz bottle and cap is hard to replicate … unbelievable craftsmanship.
I know niche fragrances and with the fearsome competitiveness on the market i need something to really grab my attention, and Almaz high quality raw materials and harmonious elements did the trick for me.
Through Almaz I can book a flight to the Mediterranean or the Middle East whiteout actually being there. You can’t beat that . Such trips i take with the help of Dahab
    Cheers EU

I love these videos and watch everyday. They are educational and help me to decide which ones to purchase. My favorite smell is Raspberry. I like Vanilla or Musky powder perfumes. There are so many different kinds of perfumes and when I started watching the videos it helped me narrow down which ones to buy. I would be so happy to have either one of these perfumes because they both sound Amazing. I love Steven’s personality and his genuine honest comments. Thank you for being so kind kind and helpful. Love you Utah. USA

  • New_Era8 says:

Love ,appreciation and connection i show on regular basis to my mother
When you think you know niche fragrances suited for Mother’s Day Michelyn Camen and Redolessence come along to show how wrong you are.
My favorite Merchant of Venice is the vanilla, spices and rum heavy Andalucian Soul , Rosa Moceniga is different but just as sophisticated and according to Michelyn Camen and Redolessence well suited for Mother’s Day. The rose in Rose Moceniga is giving off that elegant and electric lively magnetism a classy fragrance should have .
The tea in Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest and the musk are giving the fragrance carefree finish.
With Almaz Moe decided that we should try something more comfy , romantic, still fruity and ambery, but less sweet and more woody and almondy , however, not destroying too much of Kajal DNA. Almaz is not just a high quality ingredients in the vain of some of the previous Kajal releases , absolutely not ! Moe Khalaf and Rania Jouaneh have built unorthodox rich and opulent fragrance , admirable approach. Even Redolessence and Michelyn Camen were caught off guard by Almaz smell.
The whole combination comes as a reminder of how there are still brands like Kajal Perfumes , creative directors like Moe Khalaf and perfumers like Rania Jouaneh who still posses imagination, but also value wearability , just like they value warmth and all mothers and the maternal women worldwide. My favorite Kajal Perfume is the original Lamar , Almaz would be a dream come true

  • feel.me.flow says:

Lots of appreciation and respect for all mothers and mother figures on Cafleurebon and I’m loving it.
No doubt Nathalie Feisthauer pays attention to ingredients, it seems like Rosy & Earnest Be Rosy in carefree and gentle rose and musk fragrance.
Vivamor Parfums Main Character is romantic fragrance, and Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga a delicious modern rose .
Kajal have been releasing gems last few years , one after another Almaz , Äikan , III , IV , Lamar Noir , Ruby , Kolada, Topaz , Masa seems to be a high karat precision stone too . I’m so glad I’m familiar with Kajal , the two I actually ordered are IV and Lamar.
I have a penchant for Kajal high grade fragrances of different kinds , from gourmands, , to smoky and woody, fruity-florals , leathery etc , i like them all. Michelyn Camen and Redolessence examination of Almaz fascinated me , the fragrance is so posh , and the green and silver flacon is truly beautiful .
The cassis and raspberries, warm woods , radiant amber and sandalwood notes are all welcomed. Almaz is so exquisite and original , the main reason I’m so intrigued. The almonds , soft musk and white florals do bring quite a lot to the table , exactly the table I’d like to sit in , Almaz would be great.
    Thank you very much

Happy Mother’s Day.Wonderful choices from Steven and Michelyn thank you. My choice would be KAJAL ALMAZ sounds amazing..I’m a big fan of this fragrance house.Moe Khalaf is brilliant creating many fragrances and beautiful bottles. Thank you for this chance – USA

  • Gladys Catalina Rivera Marietti says:

Be Rosy intrigues me significantly. It presents the note of rose in a very unique way; I do not have anything like it in my collection.

  • No doubt Valentine’s Day is a very special holiday, to me and Michelyn Camen at least the holiday should be celebrated worldwide.
Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga is awesome, I know since my girlfriend is wearing it . At least on her the rose in the fragrance is jammy and not dewy.
Rosy & Earnest i need to try as well since i love quality tea fragrances.
Kajal Perfumes fragrances I discovered long time ago 7-8 years maybe, and based on what I learned about ALMAZ today I’m intrigued once again.
What really grabbed me in ALMAZ journey is the overall sense of smoothness , desire and romance brought by the perfumer, and traditional for Kajal spectacular presentation.
Rania Jouaneh was able to achieve the perfect balance between radiance , fruits , brown sugar , almonds and woods on one part, and comfort and romance on another. Depending on Michelyn Camen and Redolessence experience with the fragrance I’m convinced ALMAZ is a very special fragrance with lots of depth, and sophisticated character.
Homme II, IV and Lamar i own , ALMAZ would suit me greatly

The brand of Rosy & Earnest i don’t know yet , the other 4 brands represented i do.
I like sophisticated rose fragrances like Be Rosy , especially when the perfumer is Nathalie Feisthauer.
Vivamor Parfums Main Character and Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga are so different, yet cozy and uplifting.
I often think of how Olya Bar once said perfumes can trigger past memories and forge future ones, Kajal ALMAZ instantly triggered Redolessence and Michelyn Camen good times Mother’s Day memories , trips , bowls of juicy fruits, velvety warmth , brown sugar and Turkish rose . I can tell the two will keep forging a lot of new ones with its complex and sensual aroma. Raspberries , cassis and almonds are favorites of mine, let alone how both contributors implied ALMAZ possesses a comforting demeanor , exquisite pleasure I’d love to win. Kajal Perfumes strongly associate with the first Lamar , one of the best fragrances in my collection
Thank you very much Rosy & Earnest, Kajal Perfumes and Moe Khalaf , special thanks to Redolessence and Michelyn Camen for the hard work , and Happy Mother’s Day to all the ladies on Cafleurebon

  • Ellen oliver says:

As a mother/ this is a good list. I love florals and the Merchants of Venice one sounds amazing !

  • Once again all the Cafleurebon information delivered by Michelyn Camen and Redolessence made me wonder, and think for a moment

“..I pick up the heliotrope, with its sweet, almond-like aroma which is as comforting as your mother’s hug. –Michelyn . ”

Where I should even start with this time ?!? Should I start with the passion for creative fragrances of both authors , splash of fruits on top of marvelous rose in Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga , how delicious Daisy Wild Eau So Extra is, the stunning blend of brown sugar , juicy fruits, florals and almonds in Kajal Perfumes Almaz , or maybe the sparkling musk , lingering tea and satisfying mood in By Rosy from Rosy & Earnest ?
Rania Jouaneh fragrance is so special, yes it’s like a Mother’s Day dream yet so serene I can feel it. I came to realization I need a romantic voyage , and I need Almaz .

    Hey there
Stark contrasts, exquisite new releases suited for Mother’s Day, different brands and perfumers, basically a little bit of everything for everyone is how I’d describe in short the 2026 Mother’s Day list by Michelyn Camen and Redolessence.
The 3 most appealing fragrances to me are Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga, Kajal Almaz and Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest.
Rosa Moceniga is easy going , leaning on the very best rose oils and fruits available .
Be Rosy is elegant merging of Nathalie Feisthauer character , tea and musk .
Almaz woody , ambery , almondy ,fruity and brown sugar nuances and glorious bottle and cap designs are the most appealing aspects to me , such an alluring fragrance . I’m expecting an intoxicating haze that came as a result of Rania Jouaneh efforts.
Feel good Mother’s Day endorphins ,desire, romance and connection i’d accept eagerly. Also no one can deny Kajal Perfumes bottles are well made pieces of art .
I had a terrific time reading the article , and watching Redolessence YouTube video , Almaz is fantastic fragrance i’d like to win

I’m new to Vivamor Parfums, Merchant of Venice and Rosy & Earnest and it was a pleasure learning about Main Character irresistible goodness, Rosa Moceniga Elixir dewy rose and fruits , Be Rosy easy going take on tea and musk.
I’m aware of Kajal Perfumes thanks to Ruby, Homme II and Joorie. Almaz aroma is not just ambery-woody , it’s also fruity and fresh , with a touch of the romance , comfort and desire. I feel like when creating Almaz Marc Rania Jouaneh took the more playful and flirtatious Kajal character , and adding cassis , raspberries, brown sugar , calmness and delicate characteristics resulted in a perfect Mother’s Day scent . I’m interested in Almaz, many thanks

Steven’s and Michelyn’s selections felt beautifully curated, each fragrance capturing a different facet of femininity and strength. The artistry of The Merchant of Venice bottles stand out to me. They are not just perfumes, they’re sculptural treasures that elevate the entire experience.

The featured scents sounded exquisite, with compositions that seem to celebrate mothers in all their complexity and individuality. After reading the descriptions, the one that resonated with me most was KAJAL ALMAZ. I would gift it to a friend who is a single mother and deserves a daily reminder of how extraordinary she is.

Everything about this sounds irresistible! The blend of deep lush roses over fruits in Rosa Moceniga Elixir , the vanilla and cotton candy in Main Character , chocolate and banana in Daisy Wild Eau So Extra , and the inspired by diamonds Almaz with almonds , raspberries , sandalwood and brown sugar. The cassis addition is such a fascinating twist—I don’t recall seeing it used in other Kajal Perfumes fragrances . The bottle itself is stunning, and was eyeing Kajal for for a while, Masa was the perfect first purchase. The reason I ordered it was Valentine’s Day article on Cafleurebon. The fragrance I’d like to win is Almaz
I really appreciate how Michelyn Camen and Redolessence detailed each layer of the five fragrance so beautifully.Sending thanks from the EU

With premium ingredients,.Nathalie Feisthauer and tea i believe Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest is not just exquisite but also thrilling .
There’s a little bit of everything in Kajal Almaz , raspberries and cassis , refreshing part , cozy radiant amber too , sandalwood , brown sugar and almonds , smelling all of this will get me in party mood every time a get a sniff. Both Michelyn Camen and Redolessence had me thinking smelling this will get me in a good mood every time a get a sniff …I believe so. The fragrance is also inviting and vibrant , the bottle is stunning , I’d gladly wear Almaz all year round.

  • I love Steven’s and Michelyn’s choices, especially Vivamor Parfums Main Character because I love receiving compliments, as Steven says 🙂 and Kajal Almaz – a breezy fragrance with an uplifting mix of fruits and delicate florals.

Considering how knowledgeable Michelyn Camen is , I’m surprised by her enthusiasm and pure admiration for Kajal Almaz and Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest, I think she was as thrilled as she’s ever been when she smelled both for the 1st time. It’s time for me to sample the whole range of Kajal fragrances starting with Almaz. Unfortunately Rosy & Earneat don’t ship outside of US and Canada..
Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga attracts me with its elegance and easy to wear approache ,there’s dewy rose , blood orange, pear and vanilla, really nice.
Being a lover of of good woody , fruity-florals and ambery fragrances I’d say Kajal Almaz is a love for me. It’s remarkable that Moe Khalaf is once again thinking outside of the box , and with Almaz he found the balance between wearability , velvety warmth and romance . I know Kajal Perfumes since Fiddah and Homme II i both own ,and I’ll be happy to win Masa , my mom would enjoy it as well.

  • Such a pleasing experience i just had Wow
About today’s Mother’s Day intro, read and video , all so vivid and full of pride , respect, sensuality, gems , appreciation and positive energy.
I’ll do my best to sample Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga thanks to Redolessence calling it “a bouquet of roses that will never wilt” .
I think Vivamor Parfums Main Character is a cozy fragrance, and Daisy Wild Eau So Extra by Marc Jacobs are fun and suited for nights out.
Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest is sophisticated blend of tea , osmanthus and iris , pleasing and romantic creation.
Moe Khalaf is not only built differently, happy with modest personality but he also likes to surround himself with people who have the same or similar values, exactly why he worked with Rania Jouaneh on Almaz . Vibrant splash of raspberries and cassis , spiked with a floral notes twist, wood and amber , that’s pure sensuality. Love Dahab and i bet Almaz would surprise me greatly , soulful fragrance i believe , I’m hooked.
The mental getaway to the best Day fragrances, what a Mother’s Day journey i had with the help of Michelyn Camen and Redolessence.
Thank you for the whole experience

  • I really liked this curation for Mother’s Day perfumes as it featured designer and niche brands. A big plug for Main Character haha. My mother doesn’t like heavy perfumes and she is allergic to a lot of different things. Be Rosy would be my choice for her. But since I am a mom too, who loves Kajal, I would like Almaz. I live in the USA

  • “Not only do moms never get a day off, their special day is always Sunday (usually a day off for the rest of us).”

    Well said
You both did a great job co-curating Cafleurebon top 5 Mother’s Day list
Last time I’ve smelled Vivamor Parfums fragrance was Tagomago i end up buying it, based on Main Character not screaming for attention profile I can say my mum would love it .
I know Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga , noteworthy fruity rose ,easy to wear too.
My niece is actually wearing Daisy Wild Eau So Extra by Marc Jacobs, leaning young modern gourmand.
My takeaway about Kajal Almaz with a quote :

“Almaz in Arabic means diamond, which are rare and singular-just at the women who wear Almaz”

Unquestionably dedication is a must for the 21st century dire competition, and expectations are beyond high for everyone , in particular for high end popular niche brands like Kajal Perfumes. Moe Khalaf work speaks for itself, absolutely breathtaking design , exquisite and original fragrances made by talented perfumers like Rania Jouaneh, all kind of expected because with Moe everything needs to be perfect , he’s accepting nothing nearly right or good enough . The shape of Almaz bottle is different than the bottle of Homme II , my personal favorite but just as pretty , if not prettier.
Judging by the detailed reviews and the mystical symbolism, and how ecstatic you both are, all makes me feel free will sophisticated fragrance with almonds , raspberries, brown sugar and warm woods appeal is already on the market. Almaz is right up my alley.
    Thank you

I loved learning about Cafleurebon Top 5 Mother’s Day fragrances and the way Michelyn Camen and Redolessence shared their thoughts on the matter.
Main Character from Vivamor Parfums is romantic rose fragrance crowned in cotton candy . Rosa Moceniga from Merchant of Venice is modern fragrance fruits, flowers and amberwood . Daisy Wild Eau So Extra from Marc Jacobs is a gourmand with different fruits, chocolate profile and jasmine. Be Rosy from Rosy & Earnest is emotional fragrance filled with pear , tea and musk .
ALMAZ from Kajal was described by Michelyn Camen and Redolessence in such a mesmerizing way. Playful and complex fragrance in my opinion ,adventurous maybe but with grace. Radiant ambers and warm wood i love, raspberries and cassis are favorites of mine , rose and vanilla too and I’d love a chance at getting a bottle of ALMAZ. Part of a different line but I own Kajal Jihan.I live in the EU

  • All in all the two adepts Michelyn Camen and Redolessence are found of Mother’s Day , and premium fragrances suited for the Holiday.
Out of 5 we should be wearing or gifting i know one , Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga travel atomizer is in my possession and on top of what the two hosts are getting i can alao smell incense.
From the ones I don’t know I’m curious about both Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest and Kajal Perfumes Almaz .
Be Rosy due to Michelyn Camen and Redolessence zealous reviews . Can’t help but think of the comforting traits of the fragrance stepping on the tea and musk classical foundation.
Kajal Perfumes Almaz due to symmetry between the radiant amber, warm woods, succulent fruits, brown sugar and the opulence i expect from every single fragrance from the brand. Almaz I’d enjoy the most
    Much obliged

To me and may taste Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga, Kajal ALMAZ and Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest are the three fragrances I’d like to try the most. Rosa Moceniga based on the fruity dewy rose alone ♥ , Be Rosy based on the the tea ,musk and how elegant it is , and ALMAZ based on its sensuality.
It’s safe to say ALMAZ stands out from other interpretations of radiant amber , juicy fruits and woods profile. It is a distinct, bold lifestyle suited , sensual fragrance that has been engulfed in elegant vail. Love the way ALMAZ unique character shines through. Thanks to Michelyn Camen, Redolessence, Rosy & Earnest and Kajal Perfumes, may fortune favor me UK

I am in the EU and I qualify only for Almaz by Kajal, but that would have been my choice either way for the notes are really mouth watering! Raspberry together with Turkish Rose, black currant, tonka, sandalwood and vanilla from Madagascar! What is there not to love? Thank you!

  • Laurentiu says:

Unfortunately, I have yet to try any from your recommendation list and I think I am not up to date with rose-centered fragrances either. I do love the note though and it is one of the most versatile in the arsenal of a perfumeur, almost a pillar in the fragrance world. I love how the same rose can be used in basically anything, covering a large spectrum of fragrances, from straight and bold florals to girlish sweet and juicy rosy perfumes, but also in sober masculine ones (thinking of vintage Azzaro Acteur – a lost love of mine sadly discontinued…)

I would love to get my nose on the Kajal, more so as this house is one that has eluded me for so long, never tried anything from them.

    Thank you! EU

All fragrances can tell a story, some are passionate, some are sad and other do have a happy ending . I think in all Main Character, Rosa Moceniga Elixir, Daisy Wild Eau So Extra, ALMAZ and Be Rosy there are no sad parts , and everything is leading to good and happy memories , smiles and lots of love.
Michelyn Camen is so found of Kajal Perfumes Almaz and Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest for a good reason I believe. Be Rosy is spectacular rose fragrance with spicy and fruity depth.
Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga i need to try as well, comforting creation.
I have my own Kajal story every single aspect of which means a great deal to me ! There is one particular Kajal fragrance that will always have a special place in my heart, because to me it tell the best story possible . Reading about Masa was like déja vu all over again for me because i met my loving husband on Boyz II Men concert , the famous r’n’b and soul group while wearing Jihan . He … back then a total stranger complimented me with “You smell intoxicating” and the rest is history
I have a keen interest in Almaz because of Moe Khalaf cosmopolitan and respectful personality and the laid back sexy profile of the fragrance , leading up to good memories . I like the radiant floral touches on top of succulent fruits , woods and almond notes . I think there’s a synergy between Moe Khalaf and sensual perfumes suited for Mother’s Day.
Winning Almaz would be a dream come true , the brand means a world to me , since in a way I could say I’m happily married with the help of Kajal and Jihan
    Thank you kindly EU

I can tell every single author on Cafleurebon is found of sophisticated fragrances, Mother’s Day recommendations are not exceptions.
Michelyn Camen has a lot of love for all mothers and maternal women, as well as for Kajal Almaz and Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest. It feels like the two are the jewels in the crown of Mother’s Day perfumery.
Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga is bold , confident and absolutely recognizable blend of dewy rose, fruits and a bit of sweetness.
Considering how all Kajal fragrances do have such a beautiful bottles and caps I can call Masa is indeed a precious diamond.
Daisy Wild Eau So Extra by Marc Jacobs is fruity with chocolate, and I believe is better suited for younger mothers.
I like the fact that Almaz is plays with texture and memory, tapping into both nostalgia , femininity and sensuality. This is a perfume for those who want their scent to tell a story – one of warmth, passion, and cherished moments with your mother, maternal women and love ones. My pick would be Almaz

Good job all around. Keep it up , European Union
Michelyn Camen and Redolessence did an excellent job in describing the Mother’s Day perfumes, and more importantly there is a strong sense decency and kindness behind their thoughtful and articulate presentation of the five perfumes. They all sound wonderful and yet are distinct enough to represent particular facets of the wearer’s personality or what they wish to convey at that particular moment.
I am impressed even with the way that they are not ranked 1-5 , because while they all sound like beautiful creations, the perfume at the number one spot. Based on all written and YouTube descrtiptim, is the three I would choose for the mother goddess in my life, Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga thanks to the touches of fruits added to the rose, Kajal ALMAZ thanks to luminous blend of flowers, almonds, raspberries and brown sugar and Rosy & Earnest Be Rosy thanks to the delicate florals and the tea.I’d pick ALMAZ

Thanks for the tempting write-up and YouTube video ! Michelyn Camen approach describing Mother’s Day made me grab my phone , and I called mom right away.
Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest is interesting mix of fruits, florals and tea ,Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga Elixir is bouquet of roses , lively perfume.
The elegance of sandalwood, delicious fruits and brown sugar and almonds in Almaz are so attractive. Kajal always delivers high-end perfumes , Almaz made me want to taste some raspberries and go to a laid back trip to Italy , that snap opening, then all grounded in resinous woods & amber. I appreciate that it’s indulgent without going overboard; there’s elegance in its restraint that resonates. I’d love to try Kajal Almaz !

5 interesting and high quality fragrances chosen by Michelyn Camen and Redolessence to represent Mother’s Day spirit
Not sure why but samples of American and Canadian indie and niche are so hard to find in Europe .When I read the article and watched the video, the first thing I did was to look for a samples of Rosy & Earnest … with no luck. The brand at least for now deliver exclusively to US and Canada only.
I know Merchant of Venice fragrances but not Rosa Moceniga Elixir, I’ll have discover the dewy and fruity rose loved by Michelyn Camen and Redolessence.
Vivamor Parfums Main Character and Be Rosy are more effervescent, joyous and suited for romantic occasions, Daisy Wild Eau So Extra for clubbing as well .
For Michelyn Camen Kajal Almaz in more floral with warm woods and musk , decadent , rich and balanced fragrance I believe.
For Redolessence Almaz is bright and fruity, with a bit of caramel as well and high quality, another Kajal fragrance that deserves the hype based on its quality, performance and raw materials. Fantastic theme , Almaz would be my pick.

I really like Merchant of Venice and Kajal fragrances even though I’m not familiar with both Rosa Moceniga Elixir and Almaz.
Deep , rich and dewy rose ? I’m interested in the comforting traits of Rosa Moceniga Elixir.
Love Kajal Perfumes and particularly Lamar, and I’m definitely interested into refined and radiant amber fragrance mixed with a couple of different nuances , from oceanic to spicy and woody. Other than the delicious ,like a Mother’s hug scent profile I find Kajal Perfumes Almaz tempting for the, in no particular order a) sensual components b) elegance c) originality d) diamonds inspiration e) Michelyn Camen and Redolessence multidimensional reviews f) Moe Khalaf inventiveness g) beautiful bottle design
    Almaz would be amazing

  • Such a varied line up of fragrances presented to honor mothers! I appreciate the inclusion of both rich and airy, designer and niche, “floramond” and classic, unusual and familiar. “Main Character ” was a surprise on the Redolescence video that definitely piqued my interest. Glad for the rose focus, which has been a personal favorite note long before motherhood, but also glad of the reference to “a mother’s hug” in describing the very unique Almaz, which sounds delightful! Always grateful for the thoughtful descriptions. Such a generous giveaway, so difficult to choose! But as my children still say that roses remind them of my hugs, I think I would choose Be Rosy…

  • Thank you, as always, for telling the story of each perfume and its description, which gives that essence a real character, and for being our guide to finding the perfume that suits our loved ones or us. I loved your intro on the Daisy Wild Eau So Intense Marc Jacobs. I would have loved to get it for my mom. This year, instead of a bouquet, I’m going to gift her a perfume version of that.

I’ve always been into splendid tea and iris fragrances , Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest elegant profile is now stuck in my mind.
Kajal Perfumes Almaz is a marvelous fragrance, I was not expecting such level of comfort and romance. Personally I’m more than happy to know there’s also some raspberries and cassis nearby, mixed with a sense of decadence , almonds, sandalwood and caramel.
I’ve always been into splendid fragrances , Kajal- Homme II and IV and now Moe Khalaf precious diamond called Almaz. Love the simple moments of comfort and romance turned into reality by Rania Jouaneh, perfect Mother’s Day scent I’d love to win

    Hello Cafleurebon
I really like how Michelyn Camen and Redolessence are moving all the pieces with ease on the Mother’s Day chessboard , I learned a lot today.
I actually tried already to sample Rosy & Earnest fragrances last year when it was recommended in a different Cafleurebon article. I guess it’s easier to find a sample in US , but in EU is next to impossible. Be Rosy is a close to the skin cozy tea fragrance with skin-musk finish.
Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga review shows that the important pieces on the board are the the rose that grows in the gardens of Villa Moceniga Park in Alvisopoli , the fruits and vanilla.
Seeing both Michelyn Camen and Redolessence so involved in a soulful fragrance like Kajal Almaz , that’s a statement on its own ! I can’t think of a better fragrance with carefree, laid back and romantic aspect, Almaz should be outstanding.
Setting the bar higher and higher is what Moe Khalaf always do, so no surprise here. Rania Jouaneh made the fragrance so addictive with raspberries, almonds , sandalwood and brown sugar. My choice is Almaz
I’m based in EU , thanks

In the vibrant landscape of mid 2026 fragrances suited for Mother’s all Michelyn Camen and Redolessence picks do stand out.
Based on Michelyn Camen love and appreciation for all mothers worldwide i believe all Main Character, Rosa Moceniga Elixir, Daisy Wild Eau So Extra, ALMAZ and Be Rosy are compelling olfactory interpretation of a Mother’s Day fragrances —pleasing, indulgent, and emotional creations .
Rosa Moceniga Elixir announces its character with a burst of quality dewy rose , comfortable and vivid fragrance with well dosed sweetness and sandalwood.
True to the symbolism of its namesake gemstone , Kajal ALMAZ i believe evokes passion and warmth through a decadent radiant amber structure that leans both romantic, tranquil and sophisticated. With the warm woods , almonds , raspberries and vanilla i have to say this is not a shy introduction— ALMAZ is vivid, , and deeply textured.
I’ll gladly add ALMAZ to my collection ,since Lamar and IV are already there. Thank you .EU

Summed up by the introduction, and the written review by Michelyn Camen and Redolessence YouTube video I’d say you got us all set up with sophisticated Mother’s Day fragrances
Rosa Moceniga Elixir by Merchant of Venice I’m interested in thanks to the dewy rose nuances, Daisy Wild Eau So Extra by Marc Jacobs thanks to the chocolate and banana.
Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest is an unapologetically cozy tea and rose fragrance that captures the depth, and sensuality of modern romance.
Almaz by Kajal is warm and sensual : rich swirls of florals, juicy fruits and warm woods nuances create a creamy, dreamy center. It is both comforting and luxurious, evoking memories of shared time—perhaps a romantic gesture or an afternoon with friends , loved ones or just a walk with your beloved mother.
Two of the oldest Kajal releases are in my possession Dahab and Kajal Homme, and I’d love to experience Almaz. Kudos to all ,I’m located in EU

Love the idea of adding cassis, raspberries and almonds to radiant amber and warm woods, Kajal Perfumes Almaz was crafted from Moe Khalaf passionate belief in hard work, friendship, romance, respect and originality . Michelyn Camen and Redolessence were able to capture my interest with the unique contrast between the different aspects of Almaz and I’ll be happy to win a bottle.

Not exactly a romantic person myself but I gladly show love ,appreciation , respect and connection to my mother on regular basis.
Michelyn Camen and Redolessence told us about the tea, creamy iris and the splash of skin-musk parts of Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest and I’m more than willing to give it a try .
Because of Redolessence advice to subscribe and participate in a giveaway last year I already ordered ~ 30 full size bottles thanks to Cafleurebon reviews and recommendations , two of which are made by Kajal ÄICAN and Lamar Noir , I also own Dahab.
Since I love the brand , I like how Redolessence said Almaz is leaning more on the raspberries, caramel, vanilla, almonds and cassis , the creamy sandalwood and a blend of white florals MIchelyn Camen mentioned i find just as attractive.
I really like how Almaz is its own unique entity though, and I think the fragrance Rania Jouaneh created is for those who want to elevate their Mother’s Day presents game .With Almaz she showed respect to Kajal fans , the niche market and Moe Khalaf , based on Michelyn Camen and Redolessence reviews I believe she did a great job. Steven’s and Michelyn Camen thoughtful breakdowns of each Mother’s Day fragrance really helped bring their personalities to life—especially the balance of romantic nuance and photorealism in all composition. I’d gladly gift all my my mom , the two she’d enjoy the most are Kajal Perfumes Almaz because of the almonds, raspberries and caramel, and Rosy & Earnest Be Rosy because of the carefree demeanor and black tea.

My takeaway about Main Character, Rosa Moceniga Elixir, Daisy Wild Eau So Extra, ALMAZ and Be Rosy from Michelyn Camen and Redolessence article is the overall sense of heritage, sensuality and finesse. Both did a marvelous job , and It appeals to me that they infused into the article their own perception of Mother’s Day.
Be Rosy comes straight from some ancient Indian fairytale, enigmatic fragrance with tea and exquisite ingredients.
The rose and fruits in Rosa Moceniga are so relaxing, romantic and luxurious.
The sweet banana and chocolate accords in Marc Jacobs Daisy Wild Eau So Extra are delicious, suited for nights out.
Kajal ALMAZ sounds so deep and enigmatic, yet beautiful and inviting. I have a feeling during the process of creating the fragrance Moe Khalaf had multiple of flavorful brainstorming moments and discussions with Rania Jouaneh.
My takeaway about ALMAZ is the overall sense of refinery, love and affection. It appeals to me that and maybe the perfumer blended the fragrance with her and Moe Khalaf respect for the Middle Eastern traditions, maternal love , desire and romance.
In light of Michelyn Camen and Redolessence reviews , and the warm introduction I have no doubts ALMAZ is stunning , my personal pick

Optimal course to start is with the introduction since just like Michelyn Camen, Editor-in-Chief i also think Mother’s Day should be a global Holiday, and also no doubt respect and love for all mothers shouldn’t wait for a date or month during the year.
Turning Mother’s Day emotions into scent I imagine is very hard, especially when there are variety of nuances involved as well. Co-curating just five fragrances for the article wasn’t easy I’m sure.
It’s almost like both Almaz and Be Rosy were able to touch Michelyn Camen soul with each and every spray, premium fragrances no questions asked.
Merchant of Venice is unique brand I need to explore deeper since I’ve only smelled Arabesque . Rosa Moceniga i elegant fragrance with rose ,pear and musk.
Michelyn Camen and Redolessence love for Kajal, Moe Khalaf , art , design, and spectacular fragrances they intertwined with carefree romantic journeys, versatility and nostalgic heartstrings when reviewing Almaz . Excellent radiant and delicious aroma, where almonds, raspberries, woods and brown sugar are more prominent , + white florals according to Michelyn Camen, i can sense some adventurous nature as well. Almaz if i’m lucky . Thank you ! EU

  • Ensorceler says:

Steven and Michelyn’s selection felt really well-curated because it offers a nice range of moods instead of repeating the same pretty floral idea. The list feels thoughtful, giftable, and tuned to different feminine personalities.

Steven did a great job balancing mainstream appeal with more niche personality, and the selection genuinely feels like it was made with different kinds of mothers and mother figures in mind. It makes Mother’s Day gifting feel more intimate and less generic.

Michelyn made the list feel warm, elegant, and a little sentimental in a way that suits Mother’s Day perfectly, reading like a thoughtful tribute to women who nurture, guide, and shape our lives.

Be Rosy seems like the sleeper hit here, because it sounds airy, refined, and quietly luxurious rather than obvious. It has a modern clean-feminine feel that would suit my Mom well, especially since she prefers subtle elegance over sweetness.

Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest made by perfumer Nathalie Feisthauer perfectly captures the intimacy of the holiday with tea , quality ingredients and skin-musk.
After discovering your impressions of Kajal Almaz i Imagined a family trip in the countryside in an old fruit farm house at sunset, with the sweet smell of sun-warmed cassis , tart raspberries , almonds while also radiant florals , warm woods and are lingering in the background . Watching Friends with my family , why not eating my mom raspberry and almonds pie. A few extra sprays of Almaz ? Now that’s a genuine comfort

really struck me how you dedicated this to all maternal figures—not just biological moms, but aunts, sisters, friends, and anyone who’s ever poured love into someone else’s life. • Lovely choices, I must admit I haven’t tried any of these, but sure would love to Daisy Wild Eau So Extra by Marc Jacobs as it has “an ethereal jasmine note combined with chocolate and banana for a unique flormand experience” with a playful personality and Be Rosy by Rosy – “breezy fragrance with an uplifting mix of fruits and delicate florals”, a clean, molecular fragrance created by my favorite Nathalie! ❤️

I’d choose Kajal. Hugs from EU, @nikolina_84 on IG.

A beautiful description by Michelyn really intrigued by the Heliotrope and Brown sugar. Steven’s description of Raspberry, Caramel and Vanilla just adds allure and depth. If I am lucky would love Almaz. Thanks a million from the UK

  • Ozzyaziz says:

A beautiful description by Michelyn and Steven I just loved the description of Almaz Vanilla, Raspberry and Caramel just sounds amazing. If I am successful I would love Almaz the bottle is absolutely majestic. Rania Jouaneh is a brilliant perfumery. Thanks a lot from the UK

The whole Mother’s Day list i absolutely love , each release is awesome in a different way.
Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest is sophisticated and classy tea ,fruits and musk fragrance that even Michelyn Camen loves and appreciates , Daisy Wild Eau So Extra by Marc Jacobs is more playful and flirtatious, Vivamor Parfums Main Character and Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga both sounds comforting and tranquil.
The whole Kajal Perfumes Almaz presentation i absolutely love , I know it’s mostly about the juice and not the bottle , but the two images of the bottle and the encrusted with stones cap immediately caught my eye. This deep fruity-woody essence with a bit of caramel, white floral traits and no gimmicks , well brushed with romance and desire finesse by Rania Jouaneh sounds wonderful .
Almaz in Arabic means diamond , which are rare and singular-just as the women who wear Almaz ..… So nice
Absolutely I’d love to try Almaz , and get a chance to check out the aroma and the bottle in person.
    Greetings from the EU.

Thank you for introducing me to Cafleurebon “Top 5 Feminine Perfumes for Mother’s Day” , a few of the fragrances are in my to-try-list now.
The fact that Michelyn Camen, Editor-in-Chief art , dreams , fragrance and culture expert like her is impressed sounds promising.
Merchant of Venice “Rosa Moceniga Elixir” is a comforting rose swirling around fruity and vanilla shades .
Marc Jacobs “Daisy Wild Eau So Extra”is quite seductive, daring and powerful blend of chocolate and banana.
Kajal “ALMAZ” is very much a decadent radian mix of raspberries , brown sugar, sandalwood and caramel i’d like to win, awesome encounter for people who like to communicate with passion , but also love and respect
Do i even need to mention the black tea in Rosy & Earnest “Be Rosy” ? I’m in EU

Happy Mother’s Day to those who celebrate
Hey , I first discovered Merchant of Venice fragrances watching Redolessence videos , and Rosy & Earnest here on Cafleurebon.
Michelyn Camen thoughts are making me believe smelling Almaz and Be Rosy both would be almost an esoteric experience.
I’m now curious about Rosa Moceniga Elixir and the way it evolves. The contrast between the rose and fruits is so nice…
Almaz was crafted from Moe Khalaf belief in the power of optimism , love and affection, with lots vibrancy and positive energy .I have a feeling Rania Jouaneh decided to focus on a carefree times with love ones when creating Almaz . I believe the perfumer was quite careful when choosing every single raw material , so the fragrance can tell a different and more unique romantic yet carefree story.
I own 2 Kajal Perfumes already, Lamar and Topaz and I can say the happy burst good energy and cheerfulness is so common for the brand. Almaz no doubt
    Thank you, and fingers crossed

Merchant of Venice Arabesque and Rococó I own, I’ll make sure to try Rosa Moceniga Elixir as well.
Rosy & Earnest fragrances do get a lot of love on Cafleurebon, Be Rosy sounds so cozy with the black tea accord .
I love how the things worked out for Moe Khalaf , the knowledgeable and humble guy who founded Kajal. Through a lot of hard work and dedication he was able to expand and develop to such a level , that now fragrance enthusiasts are trembling when there’s a new release.
Big time YES to upscale niche perfumery, Kajal, daring approaches and aesthetics , and people mindsets like Moe Khalaf , Michelyn Camen and Redolessence. In Almaz I like the sweet fruits , longevity , sandalwood, the floral nuances and the dance between the European appeal and Middle Eastern mystical essence . Everything in Almaz i find rich and inviting ,even the beautiful bottle.
Kajal is one of my favorite brands, intricate fragrances with unique DNA , always long lasting and with one of a kind bottles. Lamar I own, my favorite that’s why I’m excited for Almaz
    Thanks a bunch

  • Full respect for people like Michelyn Camen and Redolessence who have high standards, and not just looking for nice smelling , but also for for creative and sophisticated Mother’s Day Day fragrances
Watching the YouTube video and reading the essay made me think of how unique of creations Kajal Perfumes Almaz and Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest must be if Michelyn Camen and Redolessence can’t even hold their breath while presenting the two.
Vivid atmosphere of black tea, nurturing and blossoming love , mother’s kiss and musk stepping on foundation of comfort , Be Rosy is special

《 Its luminous blend of white florals, juicy fruits, creamy sandalwood, soft musk and a touch of sweetness from the brown sugar create a perfect balance of radiance and depth…》

Good job Moe Khalaf, together with different very talented perfumers you engineered so many magnificent fragrances. Rania Jouaneh created a striking atmosphere of refined indulgent dreams with raspberries and cassis , caramel , sandalwood and floral touch . Almaz is elaborate fragrance i’d really like to win. Really looking forward to sampling Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga Elixir, Kajal ALMAZ and Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest.
The reason is I like elegant roses when it comes to Rosa Moceniga Elixir, and I’ve always wanted to try high quality black tea fragrance when it comes to Be Rosy.
About ALMAZ and Kajal what can I say? Love this brand—their catalog is expanding and includes a lot of thematic range. I’m addicted to not overly sugary gourmands, but ALMAZ sounds like a more well-rounded fragrance, spiking exotic aperitif with a lot of delicious fruits, almonds , sandalwood and floral bite. Rania Jouaneh managed to pack in all sorts of both cozy and bold notes. The way they’re balanced with the base is intriguing too—especially that “comforting as your mother’s hug” treat in the drydown.
I’m a fan of Kajal, Michelyn Camen and Redolessence reviews were awesome so it’s safe to say I’d enjoy wearing ALMAZ very much

Redolessence and Michelyn Camen work made this Mother’s Day giveaway sounds like an actual token of appreciation for all the mothers and maternal women in the world. Love the idea of recommending five different fragrances since all those ladies are beautiful, but also unique .
I could almost smell the cozy aura of Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga Elixir, the ultra-feminine Vivamor Parfums Main Character, the adventurous gourmand Daisy Wild Eau So Extra by Marc Jacobs by reading the review and watching Redolessence video.
Kajal Perfumes Almaz and Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest are more complex and in a way unique.
I’d like to try premium tea fragrance for a while now , and Kajal Perfumes desire to create unforgettable releases only excites me ever more. Almaz just seems like a masterpiece gourmand , like a mother’s hug dressed in woody , almondy and floral vanilla. I’m in EU

  • perfume.lover.trainee22 says:

I find the Mother’s Day Day introduction truly captivating , since there’s no sugarcoating with Michelyn Camen, per usual . To her , to Redolessence and to me life doesn’t come with a manual, it comes with a mother … and personally I show love and respect to my mom on regular basis love ❤
As usual Michelyn Camen and Redolessence passion for the art of perfumery shines through, making me even more eager to experience Main Character, Rosa Moceniga Elixir, Almaz and Be Rosy. My girlfriend is wearing Daisy Wild Eau So Extra, so I know that chocolate and banana smell.
Rosa Moceniga Elixir i like because I like tranquil rose fragrances, Be Rosy because I love tea and Nathalie Feisthauer work , and ALMAZ because of its scent profile and I’m interested in Kajal in general , hence I only had the pleasure of smelling and on the next day buying IV
“Kajal ALMAZ (Rania Jouaneh) is the kind of fragrance that is perfect for those who mean the most to us.” was such a powerful and inviting message. I can’t stop thinking about ALMAZ right now . From the EU

I live in the UK and I must say Steven’s and Michelyn Camen breakdowns of all Mother’s Day recommendations were so vivid, it was like I could smell each layer unfolding. The vanilla and rose in Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga Elixir, the white florals, brown sugar, almonds and raspberries in Kajal Perfumes Almaz and the tea and delicate characteristics in Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest had me completely intrigued. I also appreciate the writeups and YouTube as it reminds us why perfume is so deeply personal. Thankyou Steven, Michelyn and wonderful folks at Rosy & Earnest and Kajal Perfumes for making this happen.Cheers

  • Steven and Michelyn’s Mother’s Day picks are such a solid mix of sophisticated and playful. It’s interesting to see how he balances high-end niche storytelling with wearable designer favorites. These are such a thoughtful tribute to the maternal energy in all its forms. What I love about their co-curated list is how it balances high end artistry with a genuine sense of comfort, exactly what you’d want for a Mother’s Day tribute.

Be Rosy by Rosie and Earnest is easily the most intriguing recommendation in the lineup. It feels very modern and stealth wealth, the kind of scent that doesn’t scream but leaves a memorable, sparkling trail. The nonlinear evolution he mentions makes it feel like a true discovery rather than just another floral.

Though Rosa Moceniga by The Merchant of Venice would be a timeless gift choice for my mother, Be Rosy feels effortless and “clean,” that would fit well with her personality.

I reside in the United States.

Such a luminous , full of positive energy , comfort and gratitude ! Love the combination of introduction, written essay and YouTube review. Mother’s Day article i find captivating for its vivid imagery and descriptions of different kinds.
In your own Cafleurebon own way you intertwined 5 specialfragrances , their journeys with modesty , respect and the connections with mothers and maternal women, notes and aromas is such a beautiful way.
All convinced me that I should try to find a way to smell all 5 , Vivamor Parfums Main Character thanks the cloud of irresistible goodness, Rosa Moceniga Elixir thanks the dewy rose and the touch of fruits, Daisy Wild Eau So Extra thanks to how joyful it is , Almaz thanks to how delicious and luminous it is , and Be Rosy thanks to the black tea.
The warm gourmand facets in Almaz , and the opulent playful but decadent aspects are fused together in a truly immersive velvety experience. Love the raspberries, white florals , vanilla and sandalwood blend.
Lamar Noir I ordered with the help of Rachel K.Ng and her Cafleurebon essay , today I’m going with Almaz

I’m not surprised by Michelyn Camen and Redolessence exquisite Mother’s Day article, as expected from the Cafleurebon team 😉
What a fragrance Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga is gentle, rich and relaxing.
I can tell Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest is amazing, unforgettable and relaxing , not to mention it’s created by perfumer like Nathalie Feisthauer.
Kajal are crushing it last couple of years, hits after hits and winning prestigious awards one after another. Love so many magnificent fragrances by the brand , and I’ll try to express my opinion of Almaz . I find impressive how Rania Jouaneh , with Moe Khalaf help I’m sure was able to merge elegance and delicious memories , to meet Redolessence and Michelyn Camen high expectations , and in general showing her work ethics and appreciation for artistry too.
Even though my favorite Kajal Dahab and Almaz share the fruity part the two are also different, the playful and flamboyant Dahab and the more enigmatic and cozy Almaz . No matter the scent profiles the two share the sense of exclusivity , with Almaz leaning on sizzling explosions on fruits, rose ,brown sugar, sandalwood and almonds . Kajal DNA is still there and I’m loving it. Almaz would be amazing
Thanks for the touching Mother’s Day introduction , all reviews and of course the giveaway

I’m mostly interested in Kajal Almaz and Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest.
Made by Nathalie Feisthauer cup of black tea fragrance called Be Rosy is a fragrance I’d wear on days I’d like to relax, and take care of myself.
I love every single part of Almaz bottle with , the colors , the diamond like ornaments , the ornate cap and i love this house , Kajal III i own.I also love this specific cozy and delicious atmosphere the fragrance evades with notes like raspberries, brown sugar, flowers and caramel.

Absolutely breathtaking, the introduction , the YouTube video, all the reviews are top notch , Mother’s Day article came out great .
Merchant of Venice is a brand I know for Andalucian Soul, Rosa Moceniga Elixir dewy rose is attractive.
To me Kajal Perfumes Almaz sounds spectacular, in between comfort , seduction and warmth . Not only there’s different juicy fruits, there’s vanilla, brown sugar and white flowers and almonds . This is where fragrance becomes magical. In its ability to capture or relive the sweet and indulgent stories our noses can transport us to and hopefully build new ones.
Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest seems like a fragrance baked in nostalgia , at least how I associate all tea fragrances.
The fragrance perfumer Rania Jouaneh created is no doubt unforgettable, I’m so excited for the chance of winning a bottle of Almaz. Thanks for the sterling work, EU subscriber

There’s a famous quote that says “Mother’s hold their children’s hands for a short while, but their hearts forever ” , it’s easy to say Michelyn Camen and Redolessence believe the same thing . The beautiful Mother’s Day article is the evidence , being the result of their collaboration.
The chocolate and banana in Marc Jacobs Daisy Wild Eau So Extra, the comfy rose in Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga Elixir, the timeless tea aroma in Rosy & Earnest Be Rosy are all special.
The one fragrance I’m exited for the most is Kajal Almaz. I’m fascinated by the love affair between the delicious sweet and sour raspberries from one angle, and the more seductive cassis, caramel and white flowers on another.
The intricate layering of palatable and comfy , maybe even flirtatious , plus the Middle Eastern subtitle grace do make Almaz sound enchanting and multifaceted , my choice.

Cafleurebon appreciation for all mothers and maternal women, Mother’s Day are sophisticated fragrances is apparent from his article .
I’d love to try all five fragrances, in my opinion Main Character, Rosa Moceniga Elixir and Be Rosy are all rooted in classic perfumery but taking on a modern twist and appearing so impressive .
Exactly like my gem Topaz , Almaz is another precious stone rooted in Arabic traditions ,alchemy of attraction and perfumery, but taking on a modern twist and appearing to be delicious . I love the idea of rose , cassis, raspberries and sandalwood and the ‘mother’s hug’ sensory parallel Michelyn Camen made , Almaz truly sounds delightful and I’d like to win a bottle. I really appreciated how Steven and Michelyn Camen highlighted the emotional range Mother’s Day fragrances can express—from the fizzy celebration of Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga Elixir to the elegant softness of Rosy & Earnest Be Rosy and the bold confidence of Kajal ALMAZ . Your passion for fragrance is contagious, and it’s fascinating to learn how the 5 different Mother’s Day recommendations can contrast and complement one another. I live in the EU , and I’d love the chance to wear ALMAZ —it sounds like a powerful, radiant take on Mother’s hug that would feel empowering every time I reach for it.

Cafleurebon style of reviews are on a different level !
The two hosts were able to trick my imagination into thinking of exquisite Mother’s Day fragrances , from the classy and upscale rose in Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga, to ultra feminine Vivamor Parfums Main Character , to fun Daisy Wild Eau So Extra by Marc Jacobs and Kiss, to comforting musk and tea suede Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest and the precious diamond called Almaz .
Out of the five fragrances most appealing to me are Be Rosy and Almaz
Be Rosy i imagine smells divine, tea fragrance on a different level if even expert like Michelyn Camen can’t restraint herself and her love for everything Nathalie Feisthauer fragrance represents.
Kajal Perfumes Almaz is strong fruity-floral , woody and sweet mixture, here the boldness , comfort and love are perfectly dosed . Love every single aspect of the fragrance, so by all means YES to Kajal Almaz
Thank you to Kajal, Rosy & Earnest, Cafleurebon , Redolessence and Michelyn Camen

  • I’m keen on Cafleurebon not sorely because of the multiple sophisticated fragrances and reviews I can find here , that’s the bonus but not the main reason. To me what actually matters to me is the individuality of every single author, not just Michelyn Camen and Redolessence.
Love the way the two compiled a list of five perfumes suited for Mother’s Day and mothers and maternal women with different tastes! The images the two painted so well were so evocative , I’m impressed.
In my opinion good quality tea fragrances made with high-end ingredients are hard to find, hopefully Rosy & Earnest can find a good partner in UK soon , because I’d like to try all they have to offer.
Other than the almonds and tasty fruits, In her review of Kajal ALMAZ Michelyn Camen is leaning more on the white florals, creamy sandalwood and musk, but Redolessence spoke of caramel as well.
ALMAZ bottle and the cap are pieces of art. In my collection there are 3 Kajal fragrances Dahab, III and Lamar Noir , love them all. I’d enjoy ALMAZ just as much.
    Cheers from UK

How to turn Mother’s Day emotions into scents ? I believe it was hard to determine which fragrances to include in your Top 5.
Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest is very warm and sensual tea fragrance made by master perfumer like Nathalie Feisthauer , Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga Elixir and Vivamor Parfums Main Character are both cozy, and Daisy Wild Eau So Extra by Marc Jacobs is more playful.
I’m glad to know there’s a Kajal fragrance in your Top 5 , Almaz consists of multiple different nuances and comforting and romantic trails , from radiant florals and fruits and warm woods, to delicious caramel and vanilla and even almonds. I’ll be happy to win a bottle of Almaz

Such a devotion , cherished memories, mothers and maternal women, friends at a table i presume discussing and co-curating Mother’s Day fragrance recommendations
Major contribution by both Michelyn Camen and Redolessence.
Nothing like Kajal Perfumes Almaz by the way , i absolutely love it because of how how hedonistic it is . Such a passionate fragrance, well balanced with good time memories relying on tart and juicy fruits, florals, brown sugar and vanilla.
I was not expecting a black tea fragrance in the recommended fragrances, with Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest Nathalie Feisthauer pays attention to ingredients, nice choice for those who want a close to the skin cozy scent.
I liked the way both Redolessence and Michelyn Camen underlined there’s a balance between the 5 different recommendations, some are maybe it’s more of a romantic and chill , some maybe more hedonistic and passionate, but the balance is definitely there.
Considering all the desirable features I’d say Kajal Perfumes Almaz has a character of its own , my choice

    Mother’s Day fragrances? Interesting idea
Michelyn Camen and Redolessence absolutely delivered with their comprehensive reviews and introduction, painting a really excellent picture of all 5 offerings. The introduction i find really appealing since showing support, affection and love to my mom is a must for me too , no questions asked .
Merchant of Venice is a brand i recently discovered and end up buying Arabesque , Rosa Moceniga Elixir is really good as well, good easy to wear rose fragrance with fruits and recognizable sweet elements.
I’m new to Rosy & Earnest, Be Rosy I’d personally wear on formal occasions only.
One particular phrase caught my attention from Michelyn Camen description of Kajal Perfumes Almaz “… is the kind of fragrance that is perfect for those who mean the most to us.”
I’m found of the white florals , raspberries, woods , cassis and Almaz thrills me very much.

Redolessence took his time to talk about Vivamor Parfums Main Character and Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga Elixir which was nice since I don’t know both the fragrances, and the brands .
I like the meaning of ALMAZ name , precious diamond . I’ve experienced a few of the sweet fruity-floral fragrances by Kajal , even own Äikan , but nothing like ALMAZ with the influence of sparkling raspberries , white floral , woods , brown sugar and some touching references .That’s the one I’d like to win. I like the way Michelyn Camen shared the way she perceives Mother’s Day in the opening, I fully agree.
Lovely list and I like the way you focused on the stories behind the fragrances , how the five aromas smell and makes you feel, and also and who the perfumers are . Knowing that was helpful since I don’t know Merchant of Venice, Vivamor Parfums and Rosy & Earnest, but I’ve been Nathalie Feisthauer fan for many years.
I’m sure lots of other Cafleurebon subscribers tried to find Be Rosy samples after all the passionate praises by Michelyn Camen, but unfortunately i just saw on Rosy & Earnest website that they don’t ship outside of Canada and USA.
Rosa Moceniga Elixir is a sexy fragrance, Daisy Wild Eau So Extra is targeting younger mothers I presume.
Kajal is a great house, one of my favorites Jihan, Äikan and Lamar I own and i think Almaz scent profile is perfect for a wedding, a date or neutral venue. I like the way Michelyn Camen and Redolessence underlined the non sugary, romantic, the decadent sides of Almaz , talking about a comforting niche perfume.
I’d love to discover Almaz , the fragrance that symbolizes a precious diamond and the emotional spectrum between a motherly love

Merchant of Venice are known for the infamous Arabesque , I happen to have a bottle myself and I’m enjoying it very much. Now I can tell Cafleurebon and Redolessence the brand as well. Rosa Moceniga Elixir is bright and dewy rose.
I have affinity for sophisticated black tea fragrances, with different twists and I love the way Rosy & Earnest decided to task Nathalie Feisthauer with the creation of unconventional slightly sweet, fruity and musky fragrance with a big kiss of black tea.
Kajal Almaz is unapologetic and passion heavy , absolutely a scent I’d love to try because it’s a diamond like fragrance you don’t stumble upon on regular basis. Michelyn Camen and Redolessence certainly seems to have a huge love for the fruity , floral , woody and cozy fragrances , as well as for sophisticated and not sugar-bomb gimmicky gourmands .
I’m interested in the relaxing nature of Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest and Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga Elixir , and the jubilant aspects of Kajal Almaz.
It’s interesting that in Almaz Redolessence smells caramel , but Michelyn Camen didn’t , on the other hand she gets white florals and creamy sandalwood, but Redolessence didn’t. A bit of a different diamond for the two.
Rania Jouaneh engineered the fragrance to be addictive and soothing, designer is also quite talented , Almaz not only smells great but presentation is very unique with prominent green diamond on the cap and silver colored bottle .I would love to win this amazing release, from the EU

The two captured my heart and interest with words of 5 spectacular fragrances like Main Character, Rosa Moceniga Elixir, Daisy Wild Eau So Extra, Almaz and Be Rosy.
Love the two marvelous final results that came out of Kajal and Rosy & Earnest work with perfumers Rania Jouaneh and Nathalie Feisthauer. To me Almaz is invading the senses poetic invitation to a mother’s hug with flowers, almonds and delicious fruits, and I’d like to win a bottle.

From the very first moment the article draws you in with the level of uniqueness of the 5 recommendations, and the level of appreciation for all amazing mom’s in the entire universe ❤ ✨
I imagined the exquisite smell of black tea in Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest , almost like the beginning of a love story. But there’s more beneath the surface. As it develops, natural aroma unfold even more and together with the musk offering both comfort and seduction.
I also like the fruity and floral base of Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga lingers with the elegance and the sensual closeness , unforgettable fragrance.
Created by perfumer Rania Jouaneh, Almaz is a gourmand fragrance with depth. It’s sweet without being simple, romantic without being naive , alluring without being carnal . It captures the intimacy of a moment with mother’s hug appeal .
I’m eager to see how Kajal Almaz would translate into my own personal experiences.
Since not a lot of people nowadays can blend passion and artistry in their lives and writings i enjoyed Michelyn Camen and Redolessence work very much.

Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers and maternal women on Cafleurebon team, and subscribes as well
Cafleurebon is The expert in niche fragrances , and since Main Character, Rosa Moceniga Elixir, Daisy Wild Eau So Extra, Almaz and Be Rosy are represented on the blog the excellent quality is guaranteed.
Out of all the fragrance information provided by Michelyn Camen and Redolessence I’m interested in Rosa Moceniga Elixir, Almaz and Be Rosy the most.
Rosa Moceniga Elixir is pure Valentine’s Day emotions turned into scent, maybe even something I’d wear all year round.
To me Be Rosy is well balanced fragrance with sense of elegance coming from the musk and the tea.
Kajal Almaz is unapologetic ode to all who knows how to enjoy every single day , and like woods , almonds , different fruits, and soft musk altogether. That’s how I’d describe the fragrance after knowing Michelyn Camen and Redolessence evaluation . Some fragrances do more than smell beautiful – they speak to the heart , and Almaz absolutely speaks to me.

Wow, what a wonderful thing to read and watch ! It truly transported me to a cozy French café where everything is made by hand with Rosa Moceniga Elixir, to a patisserie with Daisy Wild Eau So Extra, to Kentucky Derby drinking black tea and watching horse racing event with Be Rosy, and Mediterranean vacation with my family and love ones with ALMAZ .
Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest feels like upscale niche and indie perfumery done really well, tea fragrance you can’t compared to anything else.
Almaz truly transported me to a Mediterranean seacoast , sounds absolutely wonderful and luxurious— that mix of radiant fruits , sandalwood , almonds and brown sugar is just raw comfort in a bottle. I’ve always been a fan of Kajal Lamar and it seems like ALMAZ carries that same emotional core so lyrical and cozy . I can’t wait to try it , especially in those days when I’d like to have a soothing cloud surrounding me on a long walk with my mom. ALMAZ fingers crossed

  • I like how Steven described the DNA of Be Rosy and the fact that he included more info about Kajal Almaz. I liked that they bothed gave us examples about what kind of woman would wear these perfumes. Thank you for this beautiful giveaway! From EU.

  • Since Redolessence and Michelyn Camen other than fragrance experts are also respectful and always show love to all mothers and maternal women , just by reading the article I visualized all the conversations they had to comprise Mother’s Day article. Must’ve been hard since it had to be just 5 fragrance…. But through the overall enthusiasm in the article I can almost see the delightfulness in their eyes when if finally came out so great.
We need Rosy & Earnest in EU period, I need to know how black tea and musk fragrance made by Nathalie Feisthauer smells.
Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga Elixir dewy rose I’m curious about…
To be fair there are also other niche brands with luxurious boxes and bottles, the difference is Kajal actually delivers not just beautiful bottles but upscale refined fragrances like no other .
Personally I’ve never smelled fruity and floral fragrance fragrance with almonds , cassis and rose accords , kudos for the idea born out of collaboration between the perfumer Rania Jouaneh and Moe Khalaf.
I like all kinds of delicious fragrances , but especially the more comfy ones like my pick Almaz , and I’m a fan of OG Kajal Lamar and IV , EU
    Thank you for the effort

I appreciate how the Cafleurebon duo showcased Vivamor Parfums Main Character, Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga Elixir, Daisy Wild Eau So Extra by Marc Jacobs, Kajal ALMAZ and Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest.
Rosa Moceniga Elixir is more easy going rose , the blend of tea and musk in Be Rosy is captivating and thanks to the almonds and white flowers in ALMAZ is a graceful and comforting counterpart to all the simplistic fruity-floral on the market. Love the idea of the fragrance, especially the interplay of sweet, floral and woody . I’d love to experience this deeper emotional interpretation myself , ALMAZ please. European Union

Wow a collaboration between Michelyn Camen, the Editor-in-Chief and Senior editors like Redolessence? No wonder the final result is so evocative, and in in every sense of the way confirmed my beliefs that I need my mom, love , good and respectful people in my life, passion , comfort , sophisticated fragrances and to try all Mother’s Day recommendations.
To me quality niche perfumery is a must, but I like to know the brand , the perfumers and particular fragrances, all Main Character, Rosa Moceniga Elixir, Daisy Wild Eau So Extra, ALMAZ and Be Rosy are so nice in a different way.
They say raspberries covered with brown sugar are delicious , I’d take delight in testing that theory with buying some tomorrow , dip them into caramel, put some white flowers on the table and enjoying the atmosphere. I love sandalwood and cassis as well.
I’m on board with everything I’ve learned today, ALMAZ in particular is a fragrance that speaks in a language of the person who likes to take his time and to enjoy life, just like me and my mom .

Thanks for the graceful Mother’s Day article , and the five reviews of well suited for the Holiday enchanting fragrances !
Be Rosy from Rosy & Earnest and Rosa Moceniga Elixir from Merchant of Venice are both comfy , Kajal Perfumes Almaz feels like a delicious fruity , woody and floral veil floating through the air — raspberries and cassis open in magnificent cloud, then vanilla and Australian sandalwood deepen into a warm embrace while just a hints of musk gives it subtle mystery. I love how the gourmand brightness stays bold , but never over-the-top, and how the base keeps it grounded while still elegant. I’d love to try Kajal Perfumes Almaz! EU-Cheers

Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga Elixir , Vivamor Parfums Main Character and Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest are soothing fragrances, Daisy Wild Eau So Extra by Marc Jacobs more party orientated.
Rania Jouaneh Kajal Almaz transitions from a precious stone brightness into memories of brown sugar sweetness , cassis and rose , raspberries too likening it to the feeling of having a warm and honest conversation with your mother. The balance between luscious and comforting elements in Almaz is masterful , I feel that it is a scent designed to leave a lasting impression , definitely worked correspondingly for Michelyn Camen and Redolessence. It’s not easy to find black tea fragrance that smells natural, i wonder how Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest smells if it’s recommended by Cafleurebon, and made by Nathalie Feisthauer?
Rania Jouaneh made Kajal Almaz is letting its fun side shine bright with gourmand , woody and floral facets , thickens up the feel of loyalty and respect , with almonds adding some nutty undertones to this exelance I’d love to win. Merchant of Venice fragrances i know are all complex , thanks to Redolessence i know Rosa Moceniga Elixir is more linear fruity-floral still done great way.
Nathalie Feisthauer is a master perfumer , I’m sure she came with a beautiful spin of black tea fragrance when it comes to Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest
No doubt both Moe Khalaf and Rania Jouaneh profoundly enjoyed designing Almaz , and are delighted of the outcome.
The idea of adding cassis and white flowers to raspberries , rose with brown sugar running through it , only comes to show the creative parts of Moe Khalaf and Rania Jouaneh characters. Powerful and novelty fragrance, with lots of twists, Kajal Perfumes fragrance called Lamar i own and I have to say winning Almaz would be a very special experience.

Lovely overview of 2026 Mother’s Day article thanks to Michelyn Camen, Editor-in-Chief and Redolessence.
I like the variety of the fragrances in the list, some are more soothing like Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest, other smell like dewy rose like Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga Elixir , Daisy Wild Eau So Extra by Marc Jacobs is full time gourmand.
Playful, sensual aperitif , fruity nectar with a touch of sweetness, variety of flowers and almonds that keep it from being overly saccharine , Kajal ALMAZ is so special.
All the notes coming together to creating a rich fragrance leaning on exclusivity and motherly love. Both comforting and seductive elements has me sold.Kajal Perfumes ALMAZ is going to be my pick. Thanks

  • The article reminds us all that mother’s day is approaching and all of the scents highlight the bright springtime season. Fresher elements and the florals make for an interesting wear possibly bringing welcome attention. The Kajal sounds amazing and the presentation is over the top and conversation piece in itself. It has a unique blend bringing the smooth and regal side of middle eastern perfumery to the forefront. Would love to gift this to the matriarch in my life. Happy mother’s day fragrance family. Cafleurebon appreciation of Mother’s Day and what it represents was sincere and a joy to experience — and it inspired me to buy my mom a fragrance for the Holiday.
One sure thing is that scent selection and suitability are personal and individual. I appreciate Michelyn’s and Steven’s attentions to the way in which our personalities influence our scent choices (bold, shy, elegant, romantic, confident).
Mom would enjoy Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga Elixir and Kajal ALMAZ, same goes for me too .
The descriptions of Kajal ALMAZ and all the supporting notes, and the lovelly way the fragrance align with Mother’s Day are all so helpful. I was happy to see Michelyn Camen other than the fruity, woody and nutty undertones is also highlighting modern florals. I feel that rose (and other floral) notes are often neglected in favor of ultra sweet gourmand scents , but imo the right balance is the key , and Rania Jouaneh achieved this with Kajal ALMAZ. The fragrance is so beautiful and posh (like our moms), and I love to see them get some shine! UK

I also think the musk note is brilliant, adding comfort and seduction . The bottle is stunning! I’d like to win Almaz

Judging by the provided details i tend to believe all fragrances in the the Mother’s Day line are fully original , all made by famous perfumers and I’m loving it.
Michelyn Camen and Redolessence surprised me with black tea tip , I was not expecting the coziness of Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest.
Kajal Perfumes Almaz doesn’t go all the way into syrupy juvenile gourmand no , and that’s a good thing. I’m familiar with her own brand , and I know Rania Jouaneh really knows how to work with the sweet , floral , woody and musky notes to make a complex and beguiling gourmand instead. It’s the subtle musky cassis , the almonds and sandalwood that make the difference. I share Michelyn’s sentiment that this scent very well resembles a mother’s hug. The bottle is also quite the artwork itself reminding you to wear it every chance you get. What a treat Almaz is ! I’m located in the EU.

Beautiful co-curated list , I very much enjoyed to opening since Michelyn Camen words in the intro are truly evocative, capturing the essence of memories and emotions that many of us can relate to. I’m talking about those simple yet profound moments of appreciation , friendship, loyalty, and respect towards your mom and/or motherly figure. . For those who can appreciate them they linger around longer than any fragrance.
In my opinion Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga Elixir, Vivamor Parfums Main Character and Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest are all soothing fragrances.
Michelyn Camen framing of Almaz as “Its luminous blend of white florals, juicy fruits, creamy sandalwood, soft musk and a touch of sweetness from the brown sugar create a perfect balance of radiance and depth.” i imagine is rooted in specific hedonistic and decadent memories she already had , and new she intend to forge with the help of the fragrance. I find interesting that Redolessence is not smelling the white flowers like Michelyn Camen, but to him there’s definitely caramel.
All beautifully aligns with the irresistible emotional spectrum of Kajal Almaz, high end fruity-floral with sandalwood , vanilla and musky profile. Surely I’d like to win a bottle

Michelyn Camen and Redolessence assessment of Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest brought me back to my childhood when both grandma and grandpa were and enjoying making black tea , great times I miss a lot.

Rania Jouaneh wrapping Almaz in a succulent and decadent diamond like fruity-floral and woody coat , so posh, so classy. Beyond questions other than my love for Ruby , I’m also all for the sophisticated qualities of Almaz , all mashed into a indulgent and friendly tonality by Rania, perfumer i really like for the work on her own brand.
Michelyn and Redolessence highlighted the nostalgic , comforting and mellow grace as foundations of Almaz path , and I’m on board with that , my choice.
I’m delighted by the whole Mother’s Day article and the chance , in the UK

  • What I am a huge fan of when it comes to modern women’s perfumery, and in Steven and Michelyn’s review, is how the perfumes discussed suit both younger and older audiences. In the past, you would smell a woman’s perfume, and immediately be able to “age” the person wearing it, just by the smell. But women’s perfume has advanced so rapidly that the perfumes can be worn by any age, and feel appropriate and alluring.

My choice would be Kajal Almaz

Great article and reviews ! I love the way Michelyn Camen compared all 5 beautiful fragrance to Mother’s Day. Raising me for sure was a full-time job… sorry about that . Happy Mother’s Day Mom , and Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers and maternal women .
I’m curious about the classy appeal of Vivamor Parfums Character and Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga Elixir , the seductive jasmine, chocolate and banana gourmand Daisy Wild Eau So Extra by Marc, the tranquility in Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest and the true juxtaposition of classic and modern in Kajal Almaz. I really love good Australian sandalwood , almonds and raspberries notes and this sounds so interesting, mixing current and past. The notes also sound wonderful!
I love and own Topaz now and enjoy greatly Moe Khalaf vision , craftsmanship , work ethics and loyalty with help of which my pick today Almaz was crafted by Rania Jouaneh.
Thank you Cafleurebon for the draw, from EU

Fruits I’d like to eat , flowers I’d like to smell , goods I’d like to wear, multiple trips I’d like to take with my family , Cafleurebon Top 5 Mother’s Day list represents all I need and more , talking about artistic approach .
I love drinking variety of different tea , but honestly I approach all new tea based fragrances carefully since most I find artificial or overdone ! Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest is special i can tell since it sounds like a painting by Monet , but I guess it’s exactly what Nathalie Feisthauer is capable of doing if she gives her best.
Hey Almaz , where have you been up until now ?!? I’m well aware of most Kajal fragrances, in my possession are not one but five, and I’m very much looking forward of trying Almaz . I need to know about the almonds, florals, warm woods, cassis and brown sugar. It seems like Almaz is a fragrance that would suit me perfectly , especially if it resembles a mother’s hug. I live in UK

Steven is ALWAYS dominating reviews. He is so knowledgeable with the notes of the fragrances and also describing a mood a scent brings. Especially when he is doing a comparison. Hearing Daisy Oh So Extra had a hint of banana in it makes me want to try it asap.
I think Michelyn’s five picks show that she really understands how to make spring fragrances feel alive without making them feel basic. Atelier Des Ors Riviera Drive sounds fresh and cinematic with that Mediterranean aromatic energy. Versace Dylan Blush Pink leans playful and addictive with the marshmallow and fruity softness. Vivamor Dare Me Now is probably the one I connect with most because of the juicy blackcurrant, citrus, florals, and creamy dry down balance. Tempus Vitae Élixir de Vie feels uplifting and green in a very clean natural way, while Perfumology Grange sounds the most emotional and atmospheric, almost like nostalgia bottled.

I would love to try Kajal Almaz and I live in New Jersey, USA.

“I pick up the heliotrope, with its sweet, almond-like aroma which is as comforting as your mother’s hug. ” Michelyn Camen had me closing my eyes to interpret what that could be , and thanks to the whole experience I had to call my mom for the second time today … I mean literally.
In my opinion creation of a sophisticated black tea fragrance is not an easy task, to me most smell too earthy or smoky , thanks to Redolessence and Michelyn Camen I have a feeling Nathalie Feisthauer made a special one with Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest.
The looks of the gorgeous bottle, the whole review and YouTube video , and especially the way you’re enjoying the fragrance , and the mother’s hug sold it for me. The mixture of succulent raspberries , cassis , almonds, sandalwood and floral goods sets Almaz apart. Haven’t been able to smell any of Kajal fragrances and I am anxiously waiting to try this !
Props to all mothers and maternal women, Michelyn Camen, Editor-in-Chief , Redolessence, Rosy & Earnest and Kajal

  • Happy Mother’s Day Mom and all gorgeous ladies on Cafleurebon
I’m familiar with Nathalie Feisthauer work , and step by step i hope Rosy & Earnest would find a reliable distributors in EU . Unfortunately for now they only operate on the North American market. Be Rosy sounds so cozy though…
The dewy rose and the lively touches of fruits are giving Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga a contemporary spin.
I’ve been a Kajal and Moe Khalaf fan for a very long time, such great brand, big fan of Homme I and II, I know a few other fragrances, but not the the brand’s latest edition . I need to order some samples soon.
Almaz really leaves a a tempting fruity-floral trail behind and is a perfect match for the days I’d like to wear a happy fragrance. I guess Rania Jouaneh reimagined the genre and turned it into a indulgent perfume ,then named it Almaz. As usual the whole presentation is top notch .Homme I is staple of mine , I’m on my 5th bottle now , and with Homme II on my 3rd

Celebrating yoy today and always, Happy Mother’s Day to each and every mother here on the blog
I love top quality tea , Nathalie Feisthauer , and from Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest i’m anticipating spectacular fragrance, something I’ve never encountered before.
The article revealed a lot , from the bold approach of Daisy Wild Eau So Extra , to the feminine Vivamor Main Character , to the classy rose in Rosa Moceniga Elixir.
Rania Jouaneh made Almaz so addictive , like a bridge between Middle Eastern atmosphere, diamonds and perfumery , not an easy task I believe. She added a bit of tranquil mother’s hug demeanor to Almaz profile as well. I’d go with Almaz.
Thanks to Michelyn Camen, Redolessence, Rosy & Earnest Kajal Perfumes, and best of luck to all participants

There are so many to mention in these Mother’s Day lists by Michelyn Camen and Steven , here are just a few that I’ve had my eye on. I’m very interested in Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest ss I have been on the hunt for the “right” soothing black tea fragrance , I believe this may be it. Merchant of Venice fragrances has been on my list this year, I’ve got to get my hands on a sample kit . Kajal Perfumes Almaz has a chance to steal my heart, I’ll have to find it to sniff it before purchase.
I particularly like how Moe Khalaf and Rania Jouaneh decided to go into floral, nutty and woody direction since i don’t have such “gourmand” fragrance . The comfy and posh feel the fragrance is coming from the sandalwood and almonds, and I’m loving it. Moe and Rania delved into new territory with Almaz ,big respect for the final result.
I have all kind of genuine wishes and love to all mothers and maternal women, and Almaz seems to be the right choice for me ✅
    I’m thrilled by the chance

  • I decided to share my takeaway about the lovely way you presented Mother’s Day gift recommendations, since it’s important to me

“ I pick up the heliotrope, with its sweet, almond-like aroma which is as comforting as your mother’s hug.”

It’s interesting that I developed my affinity for heliotrope and almondy fragrances with slightly gourmandish aspects recently , especially those with a tranquil attitude like Kajal Almaz.
Just got back from my latest craft exhibition in India where Darjeeling black tea was served to all participants and visitors. The tea is well know worldwide for its delicate, fruity-floral taste and slight red wine flavor… exactly what came to mind when I read about Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest.
Almaz is sweet but comforting fragrance , directly influenced by both white flowers, fruits , Australian sandalwood , brown sugar and I imagine the inscrutable opulent nature of the Middle East. It’s not just the great smelling aroma , some temptations and hugs are offered as well. Almaz if lucky
    Much appreciated. From EU

Steven’s videos are always so captivating, and he’s so detailed and committed to describe each scent, the breakdown of the notes and, in this particular case, how each of them fits the romance and special atmosphere of Mother’s Day Day. Michelyn’s description comes as a welcome completion, talking more about the general style of the fragrance, its spiritual and emotional connotations and how she relates to them personally.
Daisy Wild Eau So Extra by Marc Jacobs would appeal to my niece , definitely will tell her about it , my mum would fall in love with Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga Elixir and Kajal ALMAZ.
Personally I find both Kajal ALMAZ and Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest delightful . I especially liked the comparison of ALMAZ to a diamond and mother’s hug , and the way the perfumer Rania Jouaneh was able to blend perfectly contrasting notes like white florals, raspberries, cassis, brown sugar and almonds.
Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest is sophisticated as well, even though a completely different type of fragrance , more easy going and gentle with tea and delicate characteristics.
Please enter me for Kajal ALMAZ. UK

  • Love Steven’s reviews and his top 5s! Just picked up my first merchant of venice, Mandarin Carnival, and love it! Would really like to have a few more from the brand. The kajal is more my style though! USA. Happy Mother’s Day yo all the Mother’s!

  • Howdy everyone
As we closing into Q3 of a the year full of international tensions and uncertainties I very much enjoy the way Cafleurebon duo of Michelyn Camen, Editor-in-Chief and Redolessence invites us to more cozy and brighter atmosphere experience with Mother’s Day article
Lots of different sweet, tad playful , floral , and delicious memories in the 5 bottles , versatile and cozy combination in a list you don’t see everyday. Considering the soft and warm characteristics i tend to believe , with Cafleurebon duo’s help that smelling all , but especially Merchant of Venice Rosa Moceniga Elixir, Kajal ALMAZ and Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest no doubt transcends the ordinary carefree experiences.
Rania Jouaneh was able to put sweet , fruity , woody and comforting floral traits in one unique basket , while having full support by Moe Khalaf , i’m intrigued by Almaz.
Other than Almaz I’m sure I’d enjoy Rosa Moceniga Elixir thanks to the sophisticated rose and Be Rosy thanks to the black tea and fruity accords.
I’m intrigued by Almaz the most
    Thanks , UK

Redolessence YouTube presentation and Michelyn Camen written reviews form a perfect duet, offering both an immediate sensory impression and deep, personal insight. What I enjoyed the most is their slightly different , but very much complementary perspectives on the five perfumes.
It’s worth noting that Michelyn Camen perfectly captures the mood of each fragrance, and rightfully so paid homage to all mothers and maternal women. I have love and gratitude to show as well, happy Mother’s Day.
Most captivating fragrances according to my perspective are Kajal Almaz and Be Rosy by Rosy & Earnest.
Who doesn’t want uplifting black tea dominant fragrance in his collection? I sure do.
Kajal Almaz is exceptionally evocative. This beautiful creation proves Mother’s Day scents can be about powerful individuality, originality and sophistication, and not just cliché sweetness. I’m very much found of the whole package with the almonds, sandalwood and the musky aspect of the cassis.
I am from the EU and would be delighted to win Kajal Almaz.
