Top 5 Best Valentine’s Day Perfumes image by Steven

To me, Valentine’s Day is a Hallmark holiday. Desire, romance and connection shouldn’t wait for a date on the calendar. These five perfumes make the holiday unforgettable.-Michelyn Camen, Editor-in-Chief

Video Content Creator Steven Gavrielatos and I co-curate our top 5 best Perfumes for Valentine’s Day.

Neela Vermeire Creations Mohur Extrait (Neela Vermeire and Bertrand Duchaufour) is the most romantic and complex perfume in our curation. Its brilliant melding of East and Western sensibilities is perfection. The Queen of Flowers is crowned in spice, then bathed in benzoin and warm amber. Neela Vermeire Creations Mohur Extrait is similar to Neela’s original Mohur, but deeper, richer and absolutely unforgettable. It’s so much more than another “rose perfume.” It is truly one of best Valentine’s Day Perfumes. It’s also one of my signature scents, worn all year round. Buy it blind, or try a sample. It’s that good, on my skin it lasts overnight. –Michelyn @neelavermeirecreations

Notes: cardamom, coriander, ambrette, carrot, black pepper, elemi, Turkish rose oiljasmine, hawthorn, almond milk accord, leathersandalwood, amber, patchouli, Oudh Palao from Laos, benzoin, vanilla, and tonka bean

Top Notes: Italian bergamot, red fruits, pomegranate, pineapple, grapefruit, orange blossom, honeysuckle, rose and jasmine ;Base notes; white chocolate, Madagascan vanilla, heliotrope, driftwood and sandalwood

Rayhaan Kiss (Givaudan) is a gourmand take on strawberry. This original creation made by Givaudan perfumers blends strawberry with raspberry, coconut, and vanilla to create a sweet blend that is delicious. Tonka and condensed milk create a lactonic profile that keeps the deliciousness alive for the entire day. With a name like Kiss, it is difficult to resist this perfume on a day dedicated to romance and affection!-Steven @Rayhaan.perfumes

Kajal MASA (Marc Daniel Heimgartner): In Arabic, Masa means a single, precious diamond. Even if we wandered through endless worlds of glittering light, we would never find two diamonds the same. Their beauty lies in their singularity, the way true romance does. • I’m rebuilding my fragrance collection for a new chapter of life, and these all sound so lovely!

  • Ramses Perez says:

I see why these 5 fragrances were picked for this occasion as they showcase Valentine’s Day in their own way. Mohur Extrait like Michelyn mentioned it’s more than a rose perfume as it takes that ingredient and bathes it in amber and benzoin taking it to stratospheric levels of projection and durability. Amour Infinite is on the name itself as a lover’s gift to one another with gourmand notes line sugar and red fruits that make for an unforgettable night. I have to acknowledge the fact that Rayhaan is now creating new scents and not just copying other profiles and both the name (Kiss) and presentation of this one with raspberry and strawberry notes spell love and Valentine’s. Cupid’s Kiss besides being aptly named for the holiday also sounds like a scent that can be worn all year round and not just in February because iris is one of those chameleonic notes that works with everything. Finally Kajal’s Masa is that rare diamond we look for

  • Ramses Perez says:

Enveloped in both fresh and sweet notes to assist with the longevity of the scent. A beautiful list but I’d have to go for Electimuss Cupid’s Kiss as I think it’s the most versatile of all the scents presented here. I’m located in the USA

  • I can see why these were showcased in both the video and the article! They all sound like incredibly romantic perfumes that are a bit outside the typical popular perfumes right now. I also appreciate that the article provides information about the background of the name of the perfume (where it’s applicable).

I would be interested in Kajal MASA. Canada

  • Based on Steven’s video and your and Michelyn’s reviews, I think that Rayhaan Kiss would be the one I like best because of the strength and the strawberry note. For the giveaway, Cupid’s Kiss would be my choice.

  • Some people collect memories, others collect moments—
    I collect scents.

What some might jokingly call a “cologne addiction,” I call a deep appreciation for emotion in liquid form. Every bottle tells a story. One reminds me of confidence, another of comfort, another of passion. A single spray can shift a mood, awaken a memory, or make an ordinary day feel intentional.

And on Valentine’s Day, this love for fragrance feels even more meaningful.

Valentine’s Day isn’t just about flowers and chocolates—it’s about atmosphere, closeness, and the invisible details that linger long after the moment has passed. A beautiful cologne does exactly that. It doesn’t shout; it whispers. It stays behind on a sweater, in the air after a hug, in the space where two people stood a little closer than usual.

Warm ambers, soft vanillas, seductive musks, romantic florals—these scents belong to this day. They wrap love in comfort and desire, turning a simple evening into something unforgettable. Cologne becomes part of the language of affection, saying what words sometimes can’t.

So if loving fragrance a little too much is a flaw, it’s one I accept gladly. Because scent is feeling. Scent is memory. And on a day devoted to love, nothing feels more fitting than wearing something beautiful that lingers—just like the moments we hope never fade.

I love the scent kajal masa and the electimuss cupid kiss and steven his take on these scents are fantastic amazing. Thank you

  • Steve and Michelyn both in their lists describe the perfect scents that invoke the Valentine spirit: gourmand, or romantic. Rayhaan Kiss is a gourmand lover’s dream; a flirty indulgent and seductive scent Navitus More Infinite ticks the box of sweet and romantic—Valentine in a bottle; Kajal MASA doesn’t lean on the gourmand side and is a clean, sophisticated and elegant choice for those that are more subdued. These are the standouts from for me as well. I would love to try Cupid’s Kiss
    USA

  • I enjoyed Steven’s enthusiastic, detailed breakdowns of each perfume’s romantic vibe and performance in his video, making them feel perfect for Valentine’s Day. Michelyn’s reviews added poetic depth, highlighting cultural inspirations and personal touches like Mohur Extrait being her signature scent. I’d love to win
KAJAL MASA. I live in Poland, EU.

  • Steven always has such an eloquent way of encapsulating the fragrances that he features on his channel, and his Valentine’s Day fragrance lineup video was no exception – all of these selections sound utterly swoon-worthy! Michelyn’s reviews not only give me a keen insight into the fragrances that are being showcased, they also have an almost poetical quality to them that is highly evocative. If I were fortunate enough to win this giveaway, I think I would have to choose Navitus Parfums Amour Infinite, and I am located in the USA. Thank you both for your insights, and for this opportunity!

  • A beautiful list of perfumes can’t wait to try them in the future ! And the bottles look amazing too

  • Wow what a beautiful list of perfume, I personally love the Kiss perfume, perfect for valentine’s day I really love his video and his recommandations. I live in France hope I can test this fragrances

  • I don’t know if my comment is visible, but thank you for this opportunity to try these exceptional perfumes. I’m a huge perfume enthusiast, and this Valentine’s Day collection seems perfect. A truly beautiful selection! I personally love the Kiss perfume, ideal for Valentine’s Day. I really enjoyed her video and recommendations. I live in France, and I hope to be able to try these fragrances.

  • I liked M’s introduction and S’s review. I liked the 5 choices. I only tried 2 but I enjoyed reading about them. I loved the iris leather combo of Cupid’s kiss! I felt this was the top one for me!

  • Kajal MASA (Marc Daniel Heimgartner): In Arabic, Masa means a single, precious diamond. Even if we wandered through endless worlds of glittering light, we would never find two diamonds the same. Their beauty lies in their singularity, the way true romance does. Radiant amber and warm woods shimmer beneath waves of sparkling ginger, adding a soft, lingering sensuality that feels like skin warmed by a lover’s touch. –MIchelyn

Kajal MASA Top Notes: Grapefruit, Mirabelle (a yellow plum accord), Ginger and Bergamot; Middle: Cardamom, Patchouli, Watery Notes and Petitgrain; Base: Vetiver, Amber, Vanilla, Atlas Cedar, Guaiac Wood and Violet. Great choices by Steven and Michelyn but Kajal MASA stands out because of Plum accord, Ginger, Patchouli, Cardamom and Vetiver. If I am lucky I would love Kajal MASA. Thanks a million from the UK

–MIchelyn A beautiful piece by Steven and Michelyn but the allure and mysterious nature of the plum, patchouli and vetiver just adds an x factor. If I am successful would like to see Kajal MASA. Thanks a lot from the UK

  • My choice if I win is the fragrance Steven said has an elegant iris. My choice is the fragrance Michelyn said is daring, powerful and sure to leave a lasting impression. My choice if I am blessed to win is the most appropriately named in the spirit of the season is the Julien Rasquinet creation: Cupid’s Kiss by Electimuss London! I am in the USA.

  • Towonda Grant says:

I would love to try all scents. Fragrance is my life. I love to try them all. The notes on all 5 sounds so fruity and warm. Greeting from USA.

  • I’ve never had a real valentine at 35 years old. I always work to keep my mind off of the day but as I get older, I want to start romanticizing my life for me and not wait on anyone else. I want to start by getting all dressed up, smelling amazing and treating myself to a romantic weekend. Good girl blush elixir may be chosen scent.

  • I really enjoyed Steven’s video. His passion for describing each fragrance truly brings them to life! The way he connected each scent to different expressions of love and romance was beautiful, especially how Amour Infinite and Mohur Extrait captured the heart of Valentine’s Day in totally different ways.

I loved how Michelyn beautifully captured the soul of each fragrance with such emotion and detail. Her description of Mohur Extrait especially stood out, that image of the rose crowned in spice and bathed in amber feels so poetic. And the way she paired each scent to a facet of love made the whole review feel intimate and timeless.

It’s great to see a mix of luxurious and more affordable options. Such an inspiring and beautifully curated selection. But if given the chance, I’d love to get my hands on the Cupid’s Kiss, it just sounds absolutely mesmerizing!

  • I’ve been subscribed to Steven since I started to explore fragrances, and I have always loved and appreciated his honesty. The way he describes fragrances is very unique and it feels like I can literally smell the notes as he breaks them down. Each one of the perfumes he spoke about in his video made me want to smell them all. Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone reading this.

  • Greetings Steven
I thoroughly enjoy all your video’s & I’m learning quite a lot re:

  • Lovely how these are presented. I don’t own any of these or even from these brands but would have loved to own any as they all were presented in a very beautiful way. I am just starting to learn about perfumes and find it very inspiring how they can be so similar but at the samd time so unique.

  • Steven as a way to describe perfume uou want to own them all. I have been following him for a little while now and very much e joy his content. I dont have a lot of perfumes but anytime i feel ready to explore a new scent i go to his channel for recommendation. He presented these perfumes in a way again that is so beautiful and informative. I would love to have any of these . I am from Oklahoma.

  • I enjoyed the combinations of Michelin’s writing and Stephen’s video. Rayhann Kiss would appeal to my younger sister. Definitely will tell her about it. The written reviews of Kajal Masa and Neela Vermeire Mohur Extrait are beautiful. I especially liked the comparison of Kajal Masa to a singular diamond, just like true romance. I got engaged last Valentine’s Day to the love of my life.
Please enter me for Kajal Masa. USA

  • i watch the valentine perfume scent the recommadation to feel more special, i heared lots from rayhaan kiss i try to check it buy its always sold out, feel the love is the air and smell romance love love

  • Anastasia Balaskas Herda says:

I always love Steve’s reviews. They have made me want to try a lot of different and niche brands I was not aware of. These five all sound great. Would love to try Mohir extrait and Amour Infinite. I don’t have a partner but love experimenting. Happy Valentine’s Day!

  • As someone relatively new to fragrance collecting, I am always grateful for well thought out reviews and suggestions. (And let’s be honest… who among us doesn’t enjoy a little romance?!)

  • Nuvare Aenra says:

Steven’s video presentation and Michelyn’s written reviews form a perfect duet, offering both an immediate sensory impression and deep, personal insight. What I enjoyed most is their complementary perspectives. Steven perfectly captures the mood of each fragrance, describing Amour Infinite as a “cloud of infinite love” and Cupid’s Kiss as having an “electric magnetism.” Michelyn, meanwhile, provides the profound context, framing Mohur Extrait as a cultural bridge between East and West and describing MASA as a singular diamond, with a beauty as unique as true romance. Her note on the ginger in MASA adding a “soft, lingering sensuality that feels like skin warmed by a lover’s touch” is exceptionally evocative. This curation proves Valentine’s scents can be about powerful individuality, not just cliché sweetness. I am from the EU and would be delighted to win KAJAL MASA.

  • In Michelyn’s review, I liked her description of Neela Vermeire Creations’ mohur extrait. It must be pretty great for it to be signature scent level. I also enjoyed Steven’s video review because, well, it’s Steven! And also his descriptions were pretty vivid. It’s like smelling the scents without smelling them. I’d love to try Cupid’s Kiss. I live in USA.

  • LATONYA GIPSON-BOWMAN says:

Steven and Michelyn, had me at Cupid’s Kiss, but after reading the article by Jay, this is definitely a fragrance I would love to have in my collection. The article describes the true story of love, and that’s the reason I would choose Cupid’s Kiss. Thank you for the opportunity. I live in the USA

  • Steven’s videos are always so captivating, and he’s so detailed and committed to describe each scent, the breakdown of the notes and, in this particular case, how each of them fits the romance and special atmosphere of Valentine’s Day.
Michelyn’s description comes as a welcome completion, talking more about the general style of the fragrance, its spiritual and emotional connotations and how she relates to them personally.
It’s all a delight to read.
I’d love to win Masa, it sounds gorgeous and atypically “Valentine’s”.
    From EU.

  • I love how Steven always shows such passion and respect with each review. He always pays tribute to the perfumer, beautifully expounds on the scent profile and takes us on his personal journey from the opening to the dry down. I live in Madison Alabama and would be overjoyed to take home the fragrance that I feel represents love to the core and that to me is Electimuss Cupid’s Kiss. Michelyn’s review really gave a beautiful explanation how love can be like archery and just when you think you have complete control or focus it shakes things up with a sharp striking surprise. Love is complex and challenging but done right and more importantly with the right person it is a marvelous rewarding experience and I feel that Electimuss Cupid’s Kiss is just right for my own personal journey of love.

  • Amanda32828 says:

Whats not to enjoy about this lovy Valentine review. Like always the selected perfumes sounded amazing. I believe the two selected for the giveaway, they are the perfect choice for this Valentine review. Although I have to confess that Rayhaan Kiss is very intriguing and the bottle way to gorgeous to not be desired. Thank you for the opportunity to participate in this drawing. Commenting from Orlando, Fl. USA

  • I love how Michelyn’s reviews of the different fragrances are so descriptive and concise. Neela Vermeire Creations Mohur Extrait sounds beautiful – romantic and complex. And Steven really sold me on wanting to try Electimus Cupid’s Kiss! I’d love to win that one. I live in the USA

  • i really enjoyed reading about the top 5 fragrances that 2 very influential persons in the fragrance world picked for love day! all of them sound simply wonderful- i have been curious as to the rayhaan kiss because it seems to be the talk of the town in the influencer world as of late. the creamy fruitiness sounds irresistible! i love how kajal masa is about any two diamonds being completely different from one another in a world of diamonds. i always love the energy & passion that steven brings to fragrance reviews! if i had to pick it might be cupid’s kiss. i am in the united states. thank you, as always.

  • I’m in Europe, so I qualify only for Kajal Masa, but I’d love to get to try it as this house has eluded me for some time now and I know they have a strong follow of enthusiasts and some solid offerings. Thanks and good luck to everyone!

  • I love iris notes and would certainly enjoy Cupid’s Kiss. Both Steven and Michelyn are maestros of evocative imagery in their descriptions. I really enjoy how they create a sensory narrative from a simple list of ingredients.

  • michellebonano says:

Hello from New Orleans, Louisiana. -USA. I’m a fairly new fragrance addict and Stevens channel is one of the first I started following a couple of years ago. His reviews ALWAYS seem honest and genuine and are very insightful. He is a plethora of knowledge and his passion for fragrance is a blessing to the community. Steven wraps up all of his videos by sharing love to his supporters… but this Valentine’s giveaway is just above and beyond. Thank you! All the fragrances sound beautiful, however Electimuss Cupid’s Kiss sounds really special to me and it would be a stand out in my collection. Iris is one of my favorite notes and I intantly became smitten for Cupids Kiss when Steven mentioned his interpretation of Iris with a smooth velvety vanilla/coco combination. Yum! Michelyn Camens mention of its complexity and the note breakdown with suede has me even further intrigued! ♥️

  • I absolutely loved how Steven’s video brought each fragrance to life with such genuine enthusiasm and detail – you can really feel his passion for perfumery shining through. Michelyn’s poetic descriptions added such beautiful depth, especially her take on Mohur Extrait as more than just another rose perfume, and the way she described Kajal MASA as a singular diamond really resonated with me. The cultural context she weaves into her reviews makes each fragrance feel like it has its own story to tell.
I’m particularly drawn to Kajal MASA – that combination of sparkling ginger with radiant amber and warm woods sounds absolutely mesmerizing, and the fact that it takes a more sophisticated, less gourmand approach to Valentine’s Day really appeals to me. The mirabelle plum accord is an intriguing touch I haven’t encountered often.
Thank you both for this wonderful curation and for the opportunity!

I love all your fragrance reviews. I love to smell beautiful sophisticated and elegant. The perfume bottles are so beautiful.

  • Steven i looks forward to your fragrance review videos, you do an excellent job reviewing the fragrances in detail. My favorite Valentine’s Day fragrance i would love to try based on the notes would be Navitus Parfums Amour Infinite, it has rose, orange blossom and honeysuckle which is some of my favorite notes in a fragrance. I really hope i am a winner. Steven thank you for letting your followers know about the Valentines Day giveaway, i appreciate it.

Fantastic picks by Steven as well! I am very intrigued to try Amour Infinite, roses and chocolate the perfect valentine’s combo to celebrate! Also I liked the description of Rayhaan Kiss, the mix of strawberry, vanilla and tonka sound incredible. A sweet unforgettable gourmand affection!

I agree love shouldn’t wait for one special day per year. That’s why I love perfume as an expression of self love. A way to honor myself and almost anoint myself with something beautiful and loving everyday before I leave home.

  • Great Video they all sound very special for Valentine’s Day. I must say Mohur Extrait sounds something I definitely want to sample. My choice is Electimuss Cupid’s Kiss

  • Shibuichi2000 says:

It’s a list that brings together sensual allure, timeless romance, stylish charm, freshness, cozy warmth, spiciness, sophistication and boldness – it sounds like a perfect cocktail for Valentine’s day. Even if each of them suits a different kind of romantic vibe, ranging from cute and cozy to deep and passionate.
I’d like my Valentine’s day to feel stylish and thoughtful, so my pick would be Masa.

  • Came from youtube and I love your videos so so much! Your expertise is very helpful especially to those of us who are looking for their perfect scent. As someone who is relatively new to the perfume world, I appreciate all the hard work you put in to help us out. These scents also look amazing

  • Hello, I am a new subscriber thanks to Steven’s YT channel Redolessence (I subscribe there, too!). I have learned so much from Steven about fragrances-it has opened up a whole new world for me, and I am so grateful. I appreciated that this was a beautifully written article, and even the casual observer can see how much Steven and Michelyn love the subject matter. It’s like poetry! Although I have a wide variety of tastes when it comes to scents (vanilla, floral, spicy, oud), I would be so delighted to win Cupid’s Kiss. Pink pepper? Sandalwood? Oud? Yes, please! Also, in his video, Steven said it has iris notes. Please count me in! Thank you for the opportunity.

  • Lovely collection of scents and video! I love that the list has a wide range and the perfumes aren’t all the same. I always expect these lists to be all gourmands and that isn’t as fun or creative. This shows Steven’s choices were well informed and super personal! I probably lean more towards cupids kiss bc I’m an immortelle and orris fanatic lol. I live in the USA

  • RHONDA DANEAU says:

KAJAL MASA with an incredible bottle, a fragrant emerald encourages you to dream. I am from EU

  • These all sound enticing, but I love the original Mohur. I’ve never smelled the Extrait but can imagine it’s even better, so that would be my choice. I’m in USA. Thanks for the draw.

  • I truly enjoyed Steven Gavrielatos reviews on the Top 5 Best Valentine’s Day Perfumes. I have been a follower of Steven for several years now. He has is extremely knowledgeable on fragrances. I feel that I need to have an outgoing finance budget just for fragrance’s alone. The top 5 Valentines fragrances I would like to purchase all five.

  • Really nice work and thoughtful, vivid reviews, and it was a pleasure to read and listen through the selections. Of the five, the two that really stood out to me were Navitus Amour Infinite with all the fruits in the top notes and Jasmine is one of my favorite flowers and Electimuss London Cupid’s Kiss. The way Cupid’s Kiss was described especially caught my attention the iris, suede, and overall depth came through beautifully. Great storytelling and great choices.

  • SayNoToDrugsAndAlcohol says:

Thanks for the nice writeups , the video and the lists Redolessence and Michelyn Camen. I’m pleased by unique expressive Valentine’s Day medium Michelyn Camen and Ermano were able to find, exactly what I was looking , still showing the proof of perfumery as true works of art. There are daring, pushing the boundaries fragrances as well as compliment getters of all kinds
I’m not quite sure about romance, Valentine’s Day to me is based more on desire and connection yes , but also honesty.
I’ve sampled Mohur Extrait deeper and richer i agree, yet also more jammy and sweeter compared to Mohur.
Navitus Parfums are not easy to find in UK , pomegranate and rose i like.
Other than the top quality Italian leather with iris in Cupid’s Kiss , what i enjoyed the most in Michelyn Camen and Redolessence thoughts is the natural and high quality raw materials , the hints of elegance and eclectic dreams information , and also the sense of distinctiveness. Aquila Absolute is my favorite Electimuss.
I’m glad that Kajal Perfumes Masa has made it to the lists. I really think that Kajal is a brand that with Moe Khalaf creativity and different talanted perfumers are always doing some interesting things with every single new release. With Michelyn Camen and Redolessence contribution I believe I found posh all year round scent. Almaz I own , my favorite Kajal Perfumes fragrance and I absolutely love to win Masa with its ambery , woody , aquatic and fruity accords.
    Subscriber based in UK, cheers

Hey there! I love the knowledge of Michelyn’s reviews and the directness and knowledge of Steven’s videos! I also enjoy that Steven’s videos cover affordable ALL the way through niche fragrances, which gives me a lot of shopping options. For the giveaway, I would LOVE to try Cupid’s Kiss by Electmuss London.

  • Great list! I am a big fan of Rayhaan’s fragrances, I need to get kiss, sounds like one my wife would love. I have grown to love iris fragrances and would love to get cupid’s kiss on my shelf. I actually love all the notes for Masa as well. Hard decision on which one I would prefer I’ll go with Cupid’s Kiss, love that name and is perfect for valentines! USA

  • Michelyn and Steven compiled an eclectic group of fragrances to celebrate Valentine’s Day featuring incense, amber, rose, gourmand notes, woods and suede. However, all seems to share a sense of romance and whimsy. I’ve only tried the Neela Vermiere Mohur (not the Extrait) but I agree it’s a beautiful rose fragrance. I would be interested in Electimuss Cupid’s Kiss. I’m a huge fan of Julien Rasquinet’s work. USA

  • daisiehamm@yahoo.com says:

I love how well Steven describes the perfumes and their performance. Michelyn’s description gives you a vivid idea in your mind of what it feels like to be engulfed in the scent that you’re wearing. I would prefer either one but probably Cupid’s kiss seems better suited for me. I live in Michigan, USA.

  • People are calling me old-fashioned nowadays, but just like Michelyn Camen, Cafleurebon Editor-in-Chief i also believe desire , romance and connection shouldn’t wait for a date on the calendar !
Neela Vermeire Mohur Extrait is an excellent inspiration for a comforting Valentine’s Day fragrance . Deep and rich rose , combined with oud and creamy vanilla-amber -leather base sounds perfect.
I haven’t tried any Electimuss London perfumes, but Cupid’s Kiss sounds like a great thing to wear , and OMG that bottle is absolutely gorgeous! Iris and leather is a classy blend .
Plum , amber , combined with ginger is a must try. The cedarwood and the sea breeze seem to temper the overall sweetness in Masa , so nice.
I have tried a dozen and own not one , but three Kajal perfumes III , IV and Äikan , and Masa is a fragrance I’d love to add to my collection. EU

  • Valentine’s Day is mostly a Hallmark holiday indeed .
Not familiar with Neela Vermeire, Navitus and Rayhaan fragrances, Mohur Extrait i find appealing for the rich classy rose bathed in benzoin, Amour Infinite for how effervescent it is ,and Kiss for the fruity milk qualities.
Electimuss London i really like, Caspian Cherry i own and Cupid’s Kiss sounds great. Their take on iris and suede leather i find attractive.
I’m already a fan of Kajal fragrances — Lamar and Dahab — and Masa looks like another winner. I’ve been leaning into plum and amber lately, and ginger and warm woods variety is something I’d love to try. There’s such a lovely sense of balance in Masa too.
I live in the EU . And thanks to Michelyn Camen, Redolessence , Kintessence and Kajal Perfumes for making this Valentine’s Day drawing possible

    Howdies people
I’m found of how Michelyn Camen and Redolessence decided to combine their slightly different reflections on the co-curated Valentine’s Day fragrances , in a singular experience for the readers , nice idea.
Neela Vermeire is a brand I’d like to discover in full detail since I’ve only smelled Trayee. Mohur Extrait is a high-end rose fragrance with resinous and woody structure.
Romance with pomegranate is interesting take of Valentine’s Day experience, Navitus Parfums Amour Infinite sounds cozy.
Rauhaan Kiss fruity strawberry concoction is so delicious with the added tonka bean and milk.
Apparently Julien Rasquinet is not just an established perfumer, and with Cupid’s Kiss he matched Michelyn Camen and Redolessence soft spot for art and creativity .
Cupid’s Kiss is an elegant fragrance , where iris , leather and pink pepper are present, on the flip side because of the no animalic Kyara oud and the vanilla and amber also possesses both tranquil and passionate prsonality.
About Masa the right way to start is with Moe Khalaf respectful nature known to all , then go the Arabic essence of Kajal , to their marvelous bottles , and then go to the present time with Michelyn Camen and Redolessence reviews.
Other than the Middle Eastern grace I’m also impressed by the fact that Kajal do collaborate with creative designers and master perfumers like Marc Daniel Heimgartner
Masa is an elegant fragrance , where the fresh opening is easy to detect , but because of radiant amber , warm wood and ginger possesses a comforting personality. Special fragrance i’d cherish if I win.
My previous experience with Kajal Parfums is limited to Lamar, I’m happy to have a bottle.
    Million thanks EU

There’s nothing basic on Cafleurebon , even on the Valentine’s Day theme fragrances and the fragrance information are multidimensional.
If Michelyn Camen and Redolessence are so found of Neela Vermeire Creations Mohur Extrait the fragrance is no doubt spectacular, i winder if is just as good as Bombay Bling , even better maybe ?
I know Navitus Parfums are very big in US and Canada, I wish EU distribution was on pair because I’d like to try Amour Infinite.
Haven’t smelled Cupid’s Kiss yet but to my taste Persephone’s Patchouli is the best Electimuss fragrance I know. The soft suede leather and iris structure is so appealing.
Marc Daniel Heimgartner and Moe once again set the bar , really … really high with Masa with some delectable sour and sweet plums , patchouli , amber , woods , and the traditional Middle Eastern region influence behind Kajal fragrances .I love painting especially when I need to clear my mind , all Masa shades are dear to my heart. What the bottle designer was able achieve with Masa bottle and cap is hard to replicate … unbelievable craftsmanship.
I know niche fragrances and with the fearsome competitiveness on the market i need something to really grab my attention, and Masa high quality raw materials and harmonious elements did the trick for me.
Through Masa I can book a flight to the Mediterranean , whiteout actually being there. You can’t beat that . Such trips i take with the help of Dahab
    Cheers EU

  • Desire, romance and connection i show on regular basis .
When you think you know niche fragrances suited for Valentine’s Day Michelyn Camen and Redolessence come along to show how wrong you are.
Trayee i love , Mohur Extrait is a fragrance loved by many on Cafleurebon and I’m curious about the rose crowned in spices and bathed in amber.
My favorite Electimuss is the cardamom heavy Aquila Absolute , Cupid’s Kiss is different but just as sophisticated and according to Michelyn Camen and Redolessence well suited for Valentine’s Day. The leather in Aquila Absolute is more daring , but the suede leather and iris in Cupid’s Kiss are giving off that elegant and electric magnetism Michelyn Camen and Redolessence spoke about.
With Masa Moe decided that we should try something more comfy , romantic, still fruity and ambery, but less sweet and more woody woody , however, not destroying too much of Kajal DNA .
Masa is not just a high quality ingredients in the vain of some of the previous Kajal releases , absolutely not ! Moe Khalaf and Marc Daniel Heimgartner have built unorthodox rich and opulent fragrance , admirable approach. Even Redolessence and Michelyn Camen were caught off guard by Masa smell.
The plum and ginger notes , gentle amber and warm woods combination comes as a reminder of how there are still brands like Kajal Perfumes , creative directors like Moe Khalaf and perfumers like Marc Daniel Heimgartner who still posses imagination, but also value wearability , just like they value warmth, romance and desire. My favorite Kajal Perfume is the original Lamar , Masa would be a dream come true

Lots of appreciation and respect for both Michelyn Camen and Redolessence, Mohur Extrait is in my possession though, I agree it’s a complex fragrance, however i also believe it’s more seductive and lustful , than romantic. One of the best rose fragrances ever made !
Navitus Parfums Amour is romantic fragrance, and Rayhaan Kiss a delicious modern gourmand.
I stumbled across Electimuss by mistake but I’m so glad I did , with one of my samples purchase i received a couple of different Electimuss samples I haven’t actually ordered Cupid’s Kiss, Vanilla Edesia, Mercurial Cashmere and Amber Aquilaria. The one I ordered afterwards was Vanilla Edesia. Cupid’s Kiss is beautiful too , elegant and powerful , more herbal and sweeter on my skin i believe in comparison to what Michelyn Camen and Redolessence are getting.
Kajal have been releasing gems last few years , one after another Almaz , Äikan , III , IV , Lamar Noir , Ruby , Kolada, Topaz , Masa seems to be a high karat precision stone too . I’m so glad I’m familiar with Kajal , the two I actually ordered are IV and Lamar.
I have a penchant for Kajal high grade fragrances of different kinds , from gourmands, , to smoky and woody, fruity-florals , leathery etc , i like them all. Michelyn Camen and Redolessence examination of Masa fascinated me , the fragrance is so posh , and the green flacon is truly beautiful .
The mirabelle plum , warm woods , radiant amber and cedar notes are all welcomed. Masa is so exquisite and original , the main reason I’m so intrigued. The patchouli , watery notes and ginger do bring quite a lot to the table , exactly the table I’d like to sit in.
    Thank you very much

The brand of Electimuss i don’t know yet , the other 4 brands represented i do.
I like sophisticated rose fragrances like Neela Vermeire Creations Mohur Extrait, especially when the perfumer is Bertrand Duchaufour.
Navitus Parfums Amour Infinite and Rayhaan Kiss are so different, one is cozy and romantic and the other sexy and seductive.
Since I’m a big iris fan of course I’m interested in Electimuss Cupid’s Kiss with the added by Julien Rasquinet electric spirit and suede leather.
I often think of how Olya Bar once said perfumes can trigger past memories and forge future ones, Kajal Masa instantly triggered Redolessence and Michelyn Camen good times Valentine’s Day memories , trips , bowls of juicy fruits, velvety warmth and ginger. I can tell the two will keep forging a lot of new ones with its complex and sensual aroma. Plums , ginger and ambers are favorites of mine, let alone how both contributors implied Masa possesses a romantic demeanor , exquisite pleasure I’d love to win. Kajal Perfumes strongly associate with the first Lamar , one of the best fragrances in my collection
Thank you very much Kintessence, Kajal Perfumes and Moe Khalaf , and special thanks to Redolessence and Michelyn Camen for the hard work

  • Perfect scents for Valentine’s day and very well curated list! I really enjoyed Steven’s video and this article and I hope I will also get the chance to try these fragrances.

Happy Valentine’s Day to Cafleurebon and all the subscribers under the article
I’m new to Neela Vermeire, Navitus Parfums and Rayhaan and it was a pleasure learning about Mohur Extrait sophisticated rose and amber, Amour Infinite tangy pomegranate, pineapple and sandalwood, Kiss gourmand take on strawberry, coconut and vanilla.
Electimuss London is a really reputable fragrance house, and since I own the famous when it comes to amber fragrances Amber Aquilaria I always look forward for new releases.I love the suede leather and iris notes , I’m positive that perfumer Julien Rasquinet work is splendid, Cupid’s Kiss has everything a good fragrance should have , it’s complex, original and long lasting.
I’m aware of Kajal Perfumes thanks to Ruby, Homme II and Joorie. Masa aroma is not just ambery-woody , it’s also fruity and aquatic , with a touch of the romance and desire. I feel like when creating Masa Marc Daniel Heimgartner took the more playful and flirtatious character , and adding Mirabelle plum ,ginger calmness and delicate characteristics resulted in a perfect Valentine’s Day scent . I’m interested in Masa, many thanks

  • What more to ask? Made by Michelyn Camen and Redolessence 5 exotic Valentine’s Day cocktails with variety of different fragrances , from Mohur Extrait from Neela Vermeire Creations, to Navitus Parfums Amour Infinite, Rayhaan Kiss, Cupid’s Kiss from Electimuss London and Masa by Kajal Perfumes.
Mohur Extrait is a cocktail with exquisite rose bathed in benzoin and warm amber , Amour Infinite with pomegranate, white chocolate and vanilla, Kiss is sweeter with milk , tonka bean and strawberries. Cupid’s Kiss is suede leather cocktail with sandalwood and iris and last , but not least Masa , cocktail with diamonds, yellow plum ,ginger and radiant amber.
I love the green bottle and diamonds on the with the silver top and , as well as the contrast between amber , woods and fruity notes , and i love this house , Kajal III i own.
I also love this specific romantic atmosphere of the article and Redolessence YouTube video. Thanks for the opportunity to win such a beautiful fragrance like Masa , and also thanks to to the Cafleurebon crew for the splendid work

  • Once again all the Cafleurebon information delivered by Michelyn Camen and Redolessence made me wonder, and think for a moment

“..Radiant amber and warm woods shimmer beneath waves of sparkling ginger, adding a soft, lingering sensuality that feels like skin warmed by a lover’s touch. –Michelyn . ”

Where I should even start with this time ?!? Should I start with the passion for creative fragrances of both authors , splash of benzoin and warm amber on top of marvelous rose in Neela Vermeire Creations Mohur Extrait, how delicious Rayhaan Kiss is, the stunning blend of suede leather and iris is Electimuss London Cupid’s Kiss, or maybe the sparkling ginger, lingering amber and woods in Kajal Perfumes Masa ?
Marc Daniel Heimgartner fragrance is so special, yes it’s like a Valentine’s Day dream yet so serene I can feel it. I came to realization I need a romantic voyage , and I need Masa .

  • Five well suited for 2026 Valentine’s Day fragrances, nicely done ✔
Neela Vermeire Creations Mohur is in my opinion marvelous multifaceted rose and oud fragrance, with incense and cassis, or at least can clearly smell incense and cassis. Michelyn said that Mohur and Mohur Extrait are quite similar, and the Extrait is deeper and richer so I imagined a better version of Mohur basically.
Cupid’s Kiss by Electimuss London i think is modern, multifaceted fragrance with a high compliment factor. All nuances Michelyn and Redolessence told us about i find attractive, the spices , the leather, creamy sandalwood and especially the natural oud and iris. If memory serves me well since I’ve smelled it on a blotter i believe there’s a cacao nuances too . Good performance, and complint factor are always welcomed , Julien Rasquinet known well how to make it happen with sustainable ingredients , finished my 10ml decant of Amber Aquilaria and currently full bottle is in my possession, compliments galore.
It’s interesting how no matter who the perfumer is , Kajal never disappoint its fans. I guess Moe Khalaf requirements are quite high because Kevin Mathys won the Art and Olfaction Awards for Kajal IV giveaway , ÄICAN and Ruby are fantastic made by EPS Fragrances team, Patrick Müller did wonders with Lamar Noir , and in 2025 everyone was talking about Topaz by Vincent Ricord and Kolada by Toni Cabal.
Not familiar with Masa and I wonder why , sounds so nice , modern multidimensional fragrance fruity , ambery , spicy and flirtatious. Masa is a sophisticated fragrance , can’t wait to try it
My choice is Electimuss London Cupid’s Kiss
    Overly exciting giveaway , USA
    Regards

  • No doubt Valentine’s Day is a Hallmark holiday, to me and Michelyn Camen at least
Trayee is awesome, both versions of Mohur i need to try as well since i love quality rose fragrances.
Electimuss London I discovered thanks to J Wearescentient and his Spice D’Arno Cafleurebon review , i had no other option but to buy it on the first day i received my sample , thank you guys . Based on what I read about Cupid’s Kiss I’m intrigued once again.
Michelyn Camen written and Redolessence YouTube video really paints a picture of this intricate fragrance . I’m keen on that premium suede leather, iris and sandalwood.
Don’t know Rayhaan fragrances, Kiss is well suited for both dates and clubbing with condensed milk , strawberries and vanilla traits.
Kajal Perfumes fragrances I discovered long time ago 7-8 years maybe, and based on what I learned about Masa today I’m intrigued once again.
What really grabbed me in Masa journey is the overall sense of smoothness , desire and romance brought by the perfumer, and traditional for Kajal spectacular presentation.
Marc Daniel Heimgartner was able to achieve the perfect balance between radiant amber, fruits , woods on one part, and comfort and romance on another. Depending on Michelyn Camen and Redolessence experience with the fragrance I’m convinced Masa is a very special fragrance with lots of depth, and sophisticated character.
Homme II, IV and Lamar i own , Masa would suit me greatly

    Hey there
Stark contrasts, exquisite new releases suited for Valentine’s Day, different brands and perfumers, basically a little bit of everything for everyone is how I’d describe in short the 2026 Valentine’s Day list by Michelyn Camen and Redolessence.
The 3 most appealing fragrances to me are Neela Vermeire Creations Mohur, Electimuss London Cupid’s Kiss and Kajal Masa .
Mohur Extrait is complex , leaning on the very best rose oils and amber available .
Cupid’s Kiss is elegant merging of LMR suede leather, iris , immortelle and oud .
Topaz woody , ambery , aquatic and fruity nuances and glorious bottle and cap designs are the most appealing aspects to me , such an alluring fragrance . I’m expecting an intoxicating haze that came as a result of Marc Daniel Heimgartner efforts.
Feel good Valentine’s Day endorphins ,desire, romance and connection i’d accept eagerly. Also no one can deny Kajal Perfumes bottles are well made pieces of art .
I had a terrific time reading the article , and watching Redolessence YouTube video , Masa is fantastic fragrance i’d like to win

Everything about this sounds irresistible! The blend of deep lush eoses over warm amber in Mohur Extrait, the vanilla and pomegranate in Amour Infinite, all the fruits and white chocolate in Kiss , pink pepper ,suede and iris in Cupid’s Kiss and the inspired by diamonds Masa with ginger, radiant amber and woods. The Mirabelle plum addition is such a fascinating twist—I don’t recall seeing it used elsewhere. The bottle itself is stunning, and I’ve been eyeing Kajal for for a while, so Masa might just be the perfect first purchase. I really appreciate how Michelyn Camen and Redolessence detailed each layer of the five fragrance so beautifully.Sending thanks from the EU

Wow I so love the variety of the whole Top 5 Valentine’s Day package , I’m excited.
I love mango , the reason I ordered Bombay Bling and I’ll try to find samples of Mohur Extrait to see what the hype is all about.
With LMR oud, suede leather and iris I believe Electimuss London Cupid’s Kiss is not just exquisite but also thrilling .
There’s a little bit of everything in Kajal Masa , yellow plum, refreshing part , cozy radiant amber too , smelling all of this will get me in party mood every time a get a sniff. Both Michelyn Camen and Redolessence had me thinking smelling this will get me in a good mood every time a get a sniff …I believe so. The fragrance is also classy and vibrant , the bottle is stunning , I’d gladly wear Masa all year round

  • Beautiful artistic and soothing Valentine’s Day fragrances I’m here for you ❤
Dedication, working with small, but proven team you can trust , creativity , highest quality fragrances , and no short cuts . All are great moves that lead Neela Vermeire to success!
Mohur Extrait i adore , fantastic jammy rose, lactonic almonds and resins , with top quality sandalwood , absolute gem . Like Hada Bejat used to say

“The fragrance always stays in the hand that gives the rose”

I wonder why both Steven and Michelyn are not picking the lactonic aspects . Other than its magical aroma Mohur Extrait is also quite powerful, and long lasting.
Smelling both good and unique is a must , so Hello Masa , high end versatile fragrance i can wear on almost all occasions, from business meetings, to parties with a few cocktails
Woody , sweet and ambery fragrance, with mirabelle plums, sparkling ginger .. here i come.
I had the pleasure of smelling a few Electimuss London fragrances and I’m so impressed by every single one of them.
Cupid’s Kiss is sophisticated with a few interesting ideas and twists. Suede leather, sandalwood, pink pepper and iris , splendid fragrance.
What I also appreciate about Electimuss London is that they always use top notch ingredients, presentation is always great and most importantly they don’t follow trends .
Amber Aquilaria I own, as a liquor connoisseur I have to say the cognac in AA smell smells ultra realistic. Cupid’s Kiss I believe fits me really well , “Lady Boss” fragrance , howdy Michelyn 😉
    Thank you for the opportunity

  • “Desire ,romance and connection shouldn’t wait for a date on the calendar”

    Well said
You did a good job co-curating Cafleurebon top 5 Valentine’s Day list
Last time I’ve smelled Neela Vermeire Creations Mohur Extrait was a couple of years ago, and Bertrand Duchaufour work is noteworthy.
Cupid’s Kiss is actually my favorite Electimuss London fragrance, Julien Rasquinet always feels the need to create and design the best fragrances possible with highest quality ingredients in his disposal , everything else needs to be perfect too accepting nothing nearly right or good enough . What I’d add to Michelyn Camen and Redolessence impressions on Cupid’s Kiss is that chocolate type of patchouli is easy to detect on my skin next to the iris and suede leather.
My takeaway about Kajal Masa with a quote :

“Even if we wandered through endless worlds of glittering light , we would never two diamonds the same ”
Unquestionably dedication is a must for the 21st century dire competition, and expectations are beyond high for everyone , in particular for high end popular niche brands like Kajal Perfumes. Moe Khalaf work speaks for itself, absolutely breathtaking design , exquisite and original fragrances made by talented perfumers like Marc Daniel Heimgartner , all kind of expected because with Moe everything needs to be perfect , he’s accepting nothing nearly right or good enough . The shape of Masa bottle is different than the bottle of Homme II , my personal favorite but just as pretty , if not prettier.
Judging by the detailed reviews and the mystical symbolism, and how ecstatic you are, all makes me feel free will sophisticated fragrance with amber, ginger and warm woods appeal is already on the market. Masa is right up my alley.
    Thank you

Both Steven and Michelyn draw me in with the imagery and the emotional connection that each fragrance brings. (Random comment, but I love it when Steven catches a bottle.)

Michelyn countered any concept of a cold diamond with these simple words, “skin warmed by a lover’s touch.” So, I would have to choose Kajal MASA.

    US

  • both the video and review led me to be interested in the Neela V and the Kajal. Between the choices listed, I’d have to pick Cupid’s Kiss based on S’s face when sprayed and the description of it being powerful. Curious about all of them though and may have to hunt down some samples. I am in the USA.

  • Great list from Steven and Michelyn. Beautiful introduction from Michelyn into the notes, especially the gourmand ones and love the scent progression and details into the notes by Steven. Also, I absolutely love Iris, so Cupid’s Kiss would be my pick. In TX, USA.

  • Steven’s video perfectly captured the emotional push-and-pull of Valentine’s Day fragrances—his breakdown of mood, texture, and wearability made each scent feel alive rather than just described. Michelyn’s reviews were as evocative as ever; her ability to contextualize each perfume within romance, artistry, and skin chemistry is what makes her writing so compelling.

Cupid’s Kiss stood out to me most. Michelyn and Steven’s description of suede and orris creating an elegant yet electric tension truly resonated. I love fragrances that explore love as something daring and complex rather than simply sweet, and Cupid’s Kiss sounds magnetic, sensual, and unforgettable—the kind of scent that leaves a trace long after the moment has passed.

I would love to win Electimuss Cupid’s Kiss.
    Location: USA

  • I liked Steven’s video because it felt honest and easy to watch, and Michelyn’s reviews helped give more context to each fragrance without feeling over the top.

Cupid’s Kiss really stood out to me. I like scents that feel a little bold and different, and the way this one was described sounded classy but still has an edge. It feels like something I’d actually want to wear. Because of that, I’d like the opportunity to get Cupid’s Kiss.

    From the USA

  • I loved learning about Cafleurebon Top 5 Valentine’s Day fragrances and the way Michelyn Camen and Redolessence shared their thoughts on the matter.
Mohur Extrait from Neela Vermeire Creations is romantic and complex rose fragrance crowned in spices. Amour Infinite from Navitus Parfums modern fragrance fruits, flowers and white chocolate. Kiss from Rayhaan is a gourmand with different fruits, lactonic profile and tonka bean. Cupid’s Kiss from Electimuss London is emotional fragrance filled with suede leather, sandalwood, cacao and iris .
Masa from Kajal was described by Michelyn Camen and Redolessence in such a mesmerizing way. Playful and complex fragrance in my opinion ,adventurous maybe but with grace. Radiant ambers and warm wood i love, mirabelle plum is an absolute favorite of mine ,patchouli and vanilla too and I’d love a chance at getting a bottle of Masa. Part of a different line but I own Kajal Jihan.I live in the EU

  • Such a pleasing experience i just had Wow
About today’s Valentine’s Day intro, read and video , all so vivid and full of originality , romance, sensuality, gems , pride and positive energy.
I’ll do my best to sample Neela Vermeire Creations Mohur Extrait is Michelyn Camen called it “deer , rich and absolutely unforgettable” , splendid rose with amber and spices .
I think Navitus Parfums Amour Infinite is a cozy fragrance, and Rayhaan Kiss are fun and suited for nights out .
Electimuss London Cupid’s Kiss is sophisticated blend of pink pepper , iris and suede leather, pleasing and romantic creation.
Moe Khalaf is not only built differently, happy with modest personality but he also likes to surround himself with people who have the same or similar values, exactly why he worked with Marc Daniel Heimgartner on Masa . Vibrant splash of mirabelle plums and ginger , spiked with a watery notes twist, wood and amber , that’s pure sensuality. Love Dahab and i bet Masa would surprise me greatly , soulful fragrance i believe , I’m hooked.

  • Happy Valentine’s Day to all who celebrate, and like Michelyn Camen, Editor-in-Chief said don’t forget that desire , romance and connection shouldn’t wait for a date on the calendar .
To me and may taste Neela Vermeire Creations Mohur Extrait, Electimuss London Cupid’s Kiss and Kajal Masa are the three fragrances I’d like to try the most. Mohur Extrait based on “Queen of Flowers crowned in spice , then bathed in benzoin and warm amber” alone ♥ , Electimuss London based on the suede leather, iris and cacao and how elegant it is , and Kajal Perfumes based on its sensuality.
It’s safe to say Masa stands out from other interpretations of radiant amber and woods profile. It is a distinct, bold lifestyle suited , sensual fragrance that has been engulfed in elegant vail. Love the way Masa unique character shines through. Thanks to Michelyn Camen, Redolessence, Kintessence and Kajal Perfumes, may fortune favor me UK

  • Considering how knowledgeable Michelyn Camen is , I’m surprised by her enthusiasm and pure admiration for Mohur Extrait , I think she was as thrilled as she’s ever been when she smelled it for the 1st time. It’s time for me to sample the whole range of Neela Vermeire Creations fragrances starting with Mohur Extrait.
Cupid’s Kiss attracts me with its elegance and daring approache ,there’s oud , suede leather, iris and bergamot, really nice.
Being a lover of of good woody and ambery fragrances I’d say Kajal Masa is a love for me. It’s remarkable that Moe Khalaf is once again thinking outside of the box , and with Masa he found the balance between wearability , velvety warmth and romance . I know Kajal Perfumes since Fiddah and Homme II i both own ,and I’ll be happy to win Masa

From the ones I don’t know I’m curious about both Neela Vermeire Creations Mohur Extrait and Kajal Perfumes Masa.
Mohur Extrait due to Michelyn Camen zealous review . Can’t help but think of the ethereal traits of the fragrance stepping on the rose and oud classical foundation.
Kajal Perfumes Masa due to symmetry between the radiant amber, warm woods, ginger and the opulence i expect from every single fragrance from the brand. Masa I’d enjoy the most

  • I can tell every single author on Cafleurebon is found of sophisticated fragrances, Valentine’s Day recommendations are not exceptions.
Michelyn Camen has a lot of love for Neela Vermeire Creations Mohur Extrait , almost like the fragrance is a rose jewel in the crown of spicy and floral , leaning ambery perfumery.
Electimuss London Cupid’s Kiss is bold , confident and absolutely recognizable blend of iris , cacao , suede leather a bit of sweetness.
Considering how all Kajal fragrances do have such a beautiful bottles and caps I can call Masa is indeed a precious diamond.
I like the fact that Masa is plays with texture and memory, tapping into both nostalgia , romance and sensuality. This is a perfume for those who want their scent to tell a story – one of warmth, passion, and cherished moments with friends and love ones. My pick would be Masa

5 interesting and high quality fragrances chosen by Michelyn Camen and Redolessence to represent Valentine’s Day spirit
Not sure why but samples of Mohur Extrait are so hard to find. When I read the article and watched the video, the first thing I did was to look for a sample … with no luck. Not a problem for I believe all other Neela Vermeire Creations fragrances , but right now I can’t find a reliable source in EU. I’ll have to wait to discover the warm and resinous spicy rose loved by Michelyn Camen
Navitus Parfums Amour Infinite and Rayhaan Kiss are more effervescent, joyous and suited for romantic occasions, and clubbing as well .
Electimuss London Cupid’s Kiss is so special , Julien Rasquinet made the scent like an union between suede leather, iris and cocoa , the classic is echoing in the core of the fragrance .
For Michelyn Camen Kajal Masa in more ambery with warm woods and ginger , decadent , rich and balanced fragrance I believe.
For Redolessence Masa is bright and fruity, a bit oceanic as well and high quality, another Kajal fragrance that deserves the hype based on its quality, performance and raw materials. Fantastic theme . Masa would be my pick.

Mohur Extrait is both romantic and complex, unforgettable rose . Amour Infinite and Kiss are both gourmands , and while Amour Infinite has pomegranate and white chocolate, Kiss has strawberry and condensed milk aspects.
About Electimuss London Cupid’s Kiss ! I have yet to try the Emperor line, but I do have Moroccan Medjool and Caspian Cherry from a different line called Explorer . The way you describe the scent Cupid’s Kiss makes me feel just as uplifted and excited as I do with the two other Electimuss London perfumes I own. I can’t deny I’m curious about a fragrance created by perfumer like Julien Rasquinet that has cocoa , suede leather and iris.
Through your reviews of Kajal Perfumes Masa you really helped me vividly imagine the experience of tart mirabelle plums, warm woods, ginger and amber. Masa sounds sounds lovely , the fragrance I’d like to win ! Greetings from EU.

  • Salutations
When it comes to Valentine’s Day I’m often inspired by my wife and her actions, I’m so glad I met her, the real Cupid’s arrows consequences.
I really like Trayee and Bombay Bling, both variations of Mohur Extrait I’m not familiar with. Deep , rich and unforgettable rose ? I’m interested.
Not his article I know , but I have to say i am now familiar with Electimuss London thanks to J Wearescentient and Cafleurebon alone. Spice D’Arno bottle is on the shelf right in front of me , I’m more than happy with my purchase. Cupid’s Kiss feels classy and also modern , romantic and passionate, or maybe it’s something in between?
Love Kajal Perfumes and particularly Lamar, and I’m definitely interested into refined and radiant amber fragrance mixed with a couple of different nuances , from oceanic to spicy and woody. I find Kajal Perfumes Masa tempting for the, in no particular order a) sensual components b) elegance c) originality d) scent profile e) Michelyn Camen and Redolessence multidimensional reviews f) Moe Khalaf inventiveness g) beautiful bottle design
    Masa would be amazing
    It’s been a pleasure

  • Lots of cook picks from Steven, I didn’t expect Masa to be a good V Day scent just based on the note breakdown but I appreciate his perspective! Mohur Extrait sounds like a beauty based on Michelyn’s review, I’ve never heard of the original either. Lots of lovely scents that I must smell soon!

I’m in Brooklyn NYC and I’d love to be lucky enough to win a bottle of Cupid’s Kiss. Thanks so much for the opportunity, per usual!

  • All fragrances can tell a story, some are passionate, some are sad and other do have a happy ending . I think in all Mohur Extrait, Amour Infinite, Kiss, Cupid’s Kiss and Masa there are no sad parts , and everything is leading to good and sensual memories , smiles , romance and a tad seductive wink .
Michelyn Camen is so found of Neela Vermeire Creations Mohur Extrait , for a good reason I believe. Spectacular rose fragrance with spicy and resinous depth.
Electimuss London Cupid’s Kiss i need to try as well, it’s made by Julien Rasquinet and smells like suede leather, cocoa and iris , marvelous creation.
I have my own Kajal story every single aspect of which means a great deal to me ! There is one particular Kajal fragrance that will always have a special place in my heart, because to me it tell the best story possible . Reading about Masa was like déja vu all over again for me because i met my loving husband on Boyz II Men concert , the famous r’n’b and soul group while wearing Jihan . He … back then a total stranger complimented me with “You smell intoxicating” and the rest is history
I have a keen interest in Masa because of Moe Khalaf cosmopolitan and respectful personality and the laid back sexy profile of the fragrance , leading up to good memories . I like the radiant amber touches on top of spices, woods and oceanic notes . I think there’s a synergy between Moe Khalaf and sensual perfumes
Winning Lamar Masa would be a dream come true , the brand means a world to me , since in a way I could say I’m happily married with the help of Kajal and Jihan
    Thank you kindly EU

    Hello Cafleurebon
I really like how Michelyn Camen and Redolessence are moving all the pieces with ease on the Valentine’s Day chessboard , I learned a lot today.
I actually tried already to sample Neela Vermeire Creations Mohur Extrait last year when it was recommended in a different Cafleurebon article. I guess it’s easier to find a sample in US based on the provided link , but in EU is next to impossible.
Electimuss London Cupid’s Kiss review shows that the important pieces on the board are the LMR suede leather , the iris and cocoa. Julien Rasquinet made Cupid’s Kiss addictive.
Seeing both Michelyn Camen and Redolessence so involved in a soulful fragrance like Kajal Masa , that’s a statement on its own ! I can’t think of a better fragrance with carefree, laid back and romantic aspect, Masa should be outstanding.
Setting the bar higher and higher is what Moe Khalaf always do, so no surprise here. My choice is Masa
I’m based in EU , thanks

In the vibrant landscape of early 2026 fragrances suited for Valentine’s Day Mohur Extrait, Amour Infinite, Kiss, Cupid’s Kiss and Masa all stands out.
Based on Michelyn Camen love , leaning into veneration of Neela Vermeire Creations Mohur Extrait i believe the fragrance compelling olfactory interpretation of a classy rose fragrance —pleasing, indulgent, and unashamedly emotional rose .
Electimuss London Cupid’s Kiss announces its character with a burst of quality iris , cacao and suede leather, comfortable and vivid fragrance with well dosed sweetness and sandalwood.
True to the symbolism of its namesake , this unisex fragrance i believe evokes passion and warmth through a decadent cassis , sweet and woody structure that leans both playful and sophisticated.
True to the symbolism of its namesake gemstone , Kajal Masa i believe evokes passion and warmth through a decadent radiant amber structure that leans both romantic, tranquil and sophisticated. With the warm woods , oceanic notes ,ginger i have to say this is not a shy introduction— Masa is vivid, , and deeply textured.
I’ll gladly add Masa to my collection since Lamar and IV are already there. Thank you . EU

  • Lots of choices to look into. I’m only familiar with Mohur Extrait which is glorious. I’m not much of a gourmandienne so I think I will hope for the Cupid’s Kiss as I do love Iris especially but also Labdanum, Immortelle and Sandalwood. It’s always cool to learn about all the new blends coming out. Great perfumers on this list too! Good luck everyone.
I am located in the U.S.

  • Happy Valentine’s Day to all Marc Antony and Cleopatra characters on Cafleurebon , and bare in mind that like Michelyn said desire, romance and connection shouldn’t wait for a date on the calendar
Love the variety of the fragrance recommendations, there’s no overlapping at all.
Rose is indeed Queen of Flowers , and Neela Vermeire Creations Mohur Extrait is a fragrance suited for royalties to wear. Posh rose bathed in benzoin and warm amber.
I’m aware now that Cupid’s Kiss is based on collaboration between perfumer Julien Rasquinet and Electimuss London .The fragrance is based on sustainability by using LMR oils , high oil concentration, and it’s inspired by to my knowledge Roman god of love , you were able to capture my interest. Lingering resonance of LMR ingredients, oud , orris leather and some cozy sweetness from the cocoa and pink pepper , I’m even more interested now.
Love the idea of adding Mirabelle plum and ginger to radiant amber and warm woods, Kajal Perfumes Masa was crafted from Moe Khalaf passionate belief in hard work, friendship, romance, respect and originality . Michelyn Camen and Redolessence were able to capture my interest with the unique contrast between the different aspects of Masa and I’ll be happy to win a bottle.
Thank you Kintessence , Kajal Perfumes, Moe Khalaf, Michelyn Camen , Redolessence , and also thank you for the generosity

  • Summed up by the introduction, and the written review by Michelyn Camen and Redolessence YouTube video I’d say you got us all set up with sophisticated Valentine’s Day fragrances
Mohur Extrait by Neela Vermeire Creations is a bold fragrance, brilliant melding of East and West sensibilities and desires. Rose fragrance like NO other.
Amour Infinite by Navitus Parfums I’m interested in thanks to the pomegranate and white chocolate nuances, Kiss by Rayhaan thanks to the condensed milk and variety of fruits.
Cupid’s Kiss by Electimuss London is an unapologetically cozy yet sexy fragrance that captures the milk sweetness, depth, and sensuality of modern desire and romance. Suede leather, cacao and iris is a great blend , especially when it’s made by Julien Rasquinet.
Masa by Kajal may start fruity and oceanic, but the heart reveals the fragrance’s most distinctive personality. Here, Masa turns warm and sensual : rich swirls of amber and warm woods nuances create a creamy, dreamy center. It is both comforting and luxurious, evoking memories of shared time—perhaps a romantic gesture or an afternoon with friends or loved ones.
Two of the oldest Kajal releases are in my possession Dahab and Kajal Homme, and I’d love to experience Masa. Kudos to all ,I’m located in EU

My impressions only get better with every entry, such a sophisticated take on Valentine’s Day fragrances.
I’m all for exquisite rose fragrances like Neela Vermeire Creations Mohur Extrait, most of all when they are bathed in benzoin and warm amber.
Electimuss London Cupid’s Kiss grabbed me with high quality ingredients , suede leather and iris dusted with cacao passionate profile .
Kajal Masa is both relaxing and romantic, ginger on top of radiant amber, warm woods and some fruits, sounds awesome sign me up. Thanks EU

  • Nice list. Plenty of gourmand notes, as is fitting for Valentines Day, but I’m more interested in the complex florals. Mohur Extrait sounds like a signature rose, spiced and ruby red, and Electimuss Cupid’s Kiss is a fantastic iris utilizing richly compelling materials that are “daring, powerful and sure to leave a lasting impression” with a “mild, sweet manner”. I wouldn’t have thought this from the notes list, but Steven noted MASA has a bit of an oceanic vibe—surprising.

I’m in the USA. If I were to win, I’d choose Cupid’s Kiss.

I enjoy greatly Michelyn Camen and Redolessence positivity, dedication , tenderness for art in perfumery , and the approach towards all Cafleurebon articles. I wish I was there when they were co-curating the Top 5 Valentine’s Day list
Everything in Neela Vermeire Creations Mohur Extrait is on its own place, the marvelous rose , the amber and the unforgettable aroma.
Pomegranate and white chocolate, strawberries , coconut and condensed milk? I’m i a kid again with Navitus Parfums Amour Infinite and Rayhaan Kiss.
The gentle iris , the sandalwood and of course the iris in Electimuss London Cupid’s Kiss are like a romantic dream and I’m all for it.
Kajal Perfumes Masa duality is so well-bred, thanks to Michelyn Camen and Redolessence I feel enclosed with romance and desire simultaneously. Everything in Masa is on its own place, the tart fruits in the opening, the oceanic aspect, the spices, woods , amber and overall smoothness . Surely opening the box and seeing such beautiful patterns on the bottle and cap is experience like no other.
I’m ready for exquisite Valentine’s Day trip, I’m ready for Masa
    Thanks a million

It’s so cold last couple of days , the snow is falling non-stop , and suddenly i feel like watching all old TV series like Friends .
The truth? Valentine’s Day is almost here and some of the recommend fragrances already captured that cozy, slightly nostalgic and romantic vibe.
Neela Vermeire Creations Mohur Extrait made by perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour perfectly captures the transition from “We’re just friends” to “Let’s have a dinner at a fine Michelin Star restaurant” . Special occasions once fragrance with voluptuous rose bathed in benzoin and spices.
Travel atomizer of Electimuss London Cupid’s Kiss i own and i love it , daring, powerful and sure in leaving some long lasting impressions . To me the oud and especially the incense are noticeable too.
After discovering your impressions of Kajal Masa i Imagined myself in the countryside in an old fruit farm house at sunset, with the sweet smell of sun-warmed mirabelle plums, freshly peeled ginger while also radiant amber , warm woods and romance are lingering in the background . Watching Friends while the world outside is all white with a few sprays of Masa – now that’s a genuine comfort

I’m pleasantly surprised by the Valentine’s Day theme and how diverse the 5 recommendations are.
Neela Vermeire Creations Mohur Extrait is a marvelous fragrance, i was so not expecting such level of complexity, photorealistic rose and amber opulence mixed with pleasure-seeking seduction .
I’ve always been into splendid slightly sweet suede leather and iris fragrances , Electimuss London Cupid’s Kiss elegant profile is now stuck in my mind.

Kajal Perfumes Masa is a marvelous fragrance, I was not expecting such level of comfort and romance .Personality I’m more than happy to know there’s also some mirabelle plums nearby mixed with a sense of decadence.

I’ve always been into splendid fragrances , Kajal- Homme II and IV and now Moe Khalaf precious diamond called Masa. The simple moments of comfort and romance turned into reality by Marc Daniel Heimgartner are stuck in my mind.

  • Captivating introduction of Valentine’s Day and two enthusiastic takes on five different fragrances, job well done Michelyn Camen and Redolessence .
I’m exposed to niche perfumery but not yet to the fragrances in the list , and i can’t help but to be impressed every single one of them.
Can’t imagine how good of fragrance Neela Vermeire Creations Mohur Extrait is if even Michelyn Camen is crazy about it. Full crimson red rose crowned in spices and amber.
Electimuss London gave Julien Rasquinet a platform to create a very special suede leather and iris fragrance with different hints of oud , ginger and well measured sweetness.
Other than the radiant amber and warm woods I also find Kajal Maaa delightful for the sparking ginger on one part , and the sense of refinery on the other. Apart from wanting to win Masa I’d also love to visit Kajal headquarters and have a chat with Moe Khalaf

I find Michelyn Camen introduction to Mohur Extrait intriguing, highlighting the originality of the composition and how realistic it is. The scent profile is blend of appreciation for the Queen of Flowers as well as different spices, amber and pinch of sweetness everything smoothen up to perfection by Bertrand Duchaufour .
Electimuss London Cupid’s Kiss sounds spectacular, no wonder it’s made by Julien Rasquinet. I’m all for cacao , iris and suede leather.
Kajal seems to have a lot of variety in what they offer , it’s not just Äikan , the fragrance I own. Masa is also giving off that sophisticated , artistic vibe Kajal are known for relying on glittering lights, ginger , watery notes, amber and different woods. Masa for the win

Optimal course to start is with the introduction since just like Michelyn Camen, Editor-in-Chief i also think Valentine’s Day is mostly a Hallmark Holiday, and also no doubt desire, romance and connection shouldn’t wait for a date on the calendar.
Turning Valentine’s Day emotions into scent I imagine is very hard, especially when there are variety of nuances involved as well. Co-curating just five fragrances for the article wasn’t easy I’m sure.
It’s almost like Neela Vermeire Creations Mohur Extrait touches Michelyn Camen soul with each and every spray, Bertrand Duchaufour deserve a bonus LOL Premium rose fragrance no questions asked.
Electimuss London is unique brand I need to explore deeper since I’ve only smelled Spice D’Arno . Cupid’s Kiss i elegant fragrance with iris , oud and suede leather.
Michelyn Camen and Redolessence love for Kajal, Moe Khalaf , art , design, and spectacular fragrances they intertwined with carefree romantic journeys, versatility and nostalgic heartstrings when reviewing Masa. Excellent radiant amber , where warm woods and ginger are more prominent , + oceanic notes according to Redolessence , i can sense some adventurous nature as well. Masa if i’m lucky

I love the co-curated choice videos! I love the precise and succinct reviews from both Michelyn and Steven. I was particularly impressed with the review of Mohur Extrait. The rose note with spices sounds absolutely beautiful. I have been wearing Enshal from Neela Vermeire, an ode to tuberose, so I know that flower notes are handled brilliantly by this house.
I also liked the way Cupid’s Kiss was described. The iris and suede notes appeal to me very much. I also love the name!
    I would choose Cupid’s Kiss.
    I live in the USA.

My takeaway about Mohur Extrait, Amour Infinite, Kiss, Cupid’s Kiss and Masa from Michelyn Camen and Redolessence article is the overall sense of heritage, sensuality and finesse. Both did a marvelous job , and It appeals to me that they infused into the article their own perception of Valentine’s Day.
Neela Vermeire Creations Mohur Extrait comes straight from some ancient Indian fairytale, enigmatic fragrance with spices , resins and crimson red rose.
The pomegranate, pineapple and white chocolate in Navitus Parfums Amour Infinite are so relaxing, romantic and luxurious.
The sweet fruity and milky accords in Rayhaan Kiss are delicious, suited for dates.
When I was visiting with Tuscany Italy earlier last year the tour guide brought us to a local factory where they still treat the leather like in the old days, Electimuss London Cupid’s Kiss aroma brought back those memories right away.
Kajal Masa sounds so deep and enigmatic, yet beautiful and inviting. I have a feeling during the process of creating the fragrance Moe Khalaf had multiple of flavorful brainstorming moments , from the bottle design , and maybe a few rum drinks with Marc Daniel Heimgartner.
My takeaway about Masa is the overall sense of refinery, love and affection. It appeals to me that and maybe Marc Daniel Heimgartner infused the fragrance with his and Moe Khalaf respect for the Middle Eastern traditions, love , desire and romance.
In light of Michelyn Camen and Redolessence reviews , and the warm introduction I have no doubts Masa is stunning , my personal pick

Not exactly a romantic person myself but I’d gladly show desire, romance and connection if the person next to me deserves it.
Neela Vermeire Creations i know for Bombay Bling, the two Mohur variations i need to try, especially the Extrait.
In my steadily growing fragrance collection there is one Electimuss London bottle Amber Aquilaria, the best boozy fragrance I’ve smelled. Michelyn Camen and Redolessence told us about the suede leather, creamy iris and the splash of cocoa parts of Cupid’s Kiss and I’m more than willing to give it a try.
Because of Redolessence advice to subscribe and participate in a giveaway last year I already ordered ~ 25+ full size bottles thanks to Cafleurebon reviews and recommendations , two of which are made by Kajal ÄICAN and Lamar Noir , I also own DAHAB.
Since I love the brand , I like how Redolessence said it’s not sweet like some of other Kajal releases , and Michelyn Camen words of radiant amber and woody whispers i find attractive.
I really like how Masa is its own unique entity though, and I think the fragrance Marc Daniel Heimgartner created is for those who want to elevate their amber and woody game .With Masa he showed respect to Kajal fans , the niche market and Moe Khalaf , based on Michelyn Camen and Redolessence reviews I believe he did a great job. Masa please
    EU Thank you

  • The whole Valentine’s Day list i absolutely love , each release is awesome in a different way.
Mohur Extrait is sophisticated and classy rose that even Michelyn Camen loves and appreciate , Amour Infinite and Kiss are more playful and flirtatious, Cupid’s Kiss iris , cacao and suede leather sounds comforting and tranquil.
The whole Kajal Perfumes Masa presentation i absolutely love , I know it’s mostly about the juice and not the bottle , but the two images of the bottle and the encrusted with stones cap immediately caught my eye. This deep ambery-woody essence with oceanic traits and no sugary gimmicks , well brushed with romance and desire finesse by Marc Daniel Heimgartner sounds wonderful .
Their beauty lies in their singularity, the way true romance does ..… So nice
Absolutely I’d love to try Masa , and get a chance to check out the aroma and the bottle in person.
    Greetings from the EU.

  • Happy Valentine’s Day to those who celebrate
Hey , I first discovered Neela Vermeire Creations fragrances watching Redolessence videos.
Trayee is my darling by Neela Vermeire , and the rich and brilliant rose bathed in benzoin and rich amber elements, the facets together with Michelyn Camen thoughts are making me believe smelling Mohur Extrait would be almost esoteric experience.
I’m now curious about Electimuss London Cupid’s Kiss and the way it evolves. The contrast between the the citruses and spices, the creamy powdery iris and cacao , woody haze and of course the suede leather aroma is to die for.
Topaz was crafted from Moe Khalaf belief in the power of optimism , love and affection, with lots vibrancy and positive energy .I have a feeling Marc Daniel Heimgartner decided to focus on a carefree times with love ones when creating Masa . I believe the perfumer was quite careful when choosing every single raw material , so the fragrance can tell a different and more unique romantic yet carefree story.
I own 2 Kajal Perfumes already, Lamar and Almaz and I can say the happy burst good energy and cheerfulness is so common for the brand. Masa no doubt
    Thank you, and fingers crossed

  • It’s the time that you spent on your rose that makes your rose so important…People have forgotten this truth, but you mustn’t forget it. You become responsible forever for what you’ve tamed. You’re responsible for your rose.

The Little Prince, Chapter XXI. The Fox speaking to the Prince.

I’m focusing on love , passion and appreciation each , and every day of the year since my girlfriend absolutely deserves such treatment.
As usual I’ll share my thoughts on the fragrances in the list , and compare my thoughts with what Michelyn and Steven are getting starting with the way Steven showed them in his video
Amour Infinite by Navitus Parfums, composed by Bertrand Duchaufour is a sweet fruity-floral fragrance with solid dose of jasmine.
Kiss by Rayhaan, composed at Givaudan i haven’t smelled yet, I like fruity and lactonic fragrances.
Cupid’s Kiss by Electimuss London, composed by Julien Rasquinet is sophisticated, complex and going through a lot of phases. To me the opening is rather fresh and spicy ,then the iris and powdery cacao are shining bright and in the base the sandalwood and oud are joining the party. I have a sample and on my skin the suede leather is there sure , but more in the background.
Masa by Kajal Perfumes, composed by Marc Daniel Heimgartner.
My opinion of Masa is similar, but not exactly the same compared to what Michelyn and Steven is getting . The grapefruit opening is so nice, then the fragrance quickly goes into herbal, heavy on the rosemary aromatic territory , with some pleasant marine accords. In the heart also get fresh , slightly peppery rose . In the drydown the fragrance goes into ambery vanilla territory, with some woody nuances. Personally ginger I don’t get. Masa is so beautiful, and versatile , like most Kajal fragrances also quite loud.
I’d slightly prefer Electimuss London Cupid’s Kiss
All profiles I already follow, @waltherp99bg . I also follow @eaudemoe , Moe Khalaf side project
    Thanks a lot

The fact that Michelyn Camen, Editor-in-Chief art , dreams , fragrance and culture expert like her is impressed sounds promising. “Mohur Extrait ” is a dark rose swirling around spicy and ambery shades .
Electimuss London Cupid’s Kiss is quite seductive, daring and powerful blend of suede leather, cacao / cocoa and buttery iris.
Kajal Masa is very much a decadent radian amber i’d like to win, woody and spicy sexy encounter for people who like to communicate with passion. Do i even need to mention the Mirabelle plum? I’m in EU

Such a devotion , cherished memories, friends and colleagues at a table discussing , and co-curating Valentine’s Day fragrance recommendations
Major contribution by Michelyn Camen as well, since recommending Cafleurebon subscribers to blind-buy such expensive fragrance like Mohur Extrait means she’s confident enough that it a subscriber loves exceptional rich rose fragrance, he’d no doubt appreciate Bertrand Duchaufour work.
Nothing like Electimuss London Amber Aquilaria by the way , i absolutely love it because of how how hedonistic it is , Cupid’s Kiss is also a passionate fragrance, well balanced with more primal memories relying on cacao , leather oud and iris.
I liked the way both Redolessence and Michelyn Camen underlined there’s a balance between the different ingredients in Kajal Masa , maybe it’s more of a romantic and chill fragrance, maybe it’s more hedonistic and passionate, but the balance is definitely there. The fragrance relies on radiant amber, tempting ginger with the addition of, according to Redolessence cocoa and mild sweetness.
Considering all the desirable features I’d say Masa has a character of its own , my choice

    Valentine’s Day fragrances? Interesting idea
The introduction i really appealing since have become more attracted to genuine people lately, and for different cultures and style of fragrances as I’ve progressed in my fragrance journey.
Michelyn Camen and Redolessence absolutely delivered with their comprehensive reviews and introduction, painting a really excellent picture of all 5 offerings.
Electimuss London is a brand i recently discovered and end up buying Persephone’s Patchouli , Cupid’s Kiss is really good as well, good leather fragrance with iris and recognizable sweet elements.
I’m new to Neela Vermeire Creations, Mohur Extrait is a rose I’d personally wear on formal occasions only.
One particular phrase caught my attention from Michelyn Camen description of Kajal Perfumes Masa “In Arabic, Masa means a single, precious diamond. Even if we wandered through endless worlds of glittering light, we would never find two diamonds the same.”
I’m found of the ginger , spices, woods and Masa thrills me very much.
Kajal is a brand i know for a while, Dahab i own for years , and last year also ordered Ruby , so I hope Masa will end up in my collection too . Appreciate the chance EU

How to turn Valentine’s Day emotions into scents ? I believe it was hard to determine which fragrances to include in your Top 5.
Mohur Extrait is very warm and alluring rose made byba master perfumer like Bertrand Duchaufour, Amour Infinite is also his work but it’s more playful.
Love the premium cocoa, iris and oud in Cupid’s Kiss ,there’s even leather wink – Electimuss London fragrance sounds spectacular.

It’s amazing how your bag of pleasant surprises is always full
I’ve experienced a lot of rich rose and amber fragrances , butbi guess nothing like Neela Vermeire Creations Mohur Extrait with the influence of spices , leather and some emotional references by Michelyn Camen as well.
Redolessence took his time to talk about Navitus Parfums Amour Infinite and Rayhaan Kiss which was nice since I don’t know both the fragrances, and the brands .
From Electimuss London I’ve only smelled Caspian Cherry, talking about seductive fragrance. Cupid’s Kiss is more elegant, maybe daring too.
I like the meaning of Masa name , single precious diamond . I’ve experienced a few of sweet fruity-floral fragrances by Kajal , even own Äikan , but nothing like Masa with the influence of sparkling ginger , radiant amber, woods and some emotional references. That’s the one I’d like to win. I like the way Michelyn Camen shared the way she perceives Valentine’s Day in the opening, I fully agree.
Lovely Valentine’s Day list and I like the way you focused on the stories behind the fragrances , how the five aromas smell and makes you feel, and also and who the perfumers are . Knowing that was helpful since I don’t know Neela Vermeire Creations and Navitus Parfums , but I’ve been Bertrand Duchaufour far for many years.
I’m sure lots of other Cafleurebon subscribers tried to find Neela Vermeire Creations Mohur Extrait samples after all the passionate praises by Michelyn Camen, but personally I can’t find such, only original Mohur samples are available at least in Europe.
Electimuss London Cupid’s Kiss is a sexy fragrance, I’m all for suede leather and iris mixtures.
Kajal is a great house, one of my favorites Jihan, Äikan and Lamar I own and i think Masa scent profile is perfect for a wedding, a date or neutral venue. I like the way Michelyn Camen and Redolessence underlined the non sugary, romantic, the decadent sides of Maaa , talking about a comforting niche perfume.
I’d love to discover the Masa , the fragrance that symbolizes a single, precious diamond and the emotional spectrum between romance and warmed by a lover’s touch skin.

As usual her and Redolessence passion for the art of perfumery shines through, making me even more eager to experience Mohur Extrait, Amour Infinite, Cupid’s Kiss and Masa.
Mohur Extrait i like because I like voluptuous rose fragrances, Amour Infinite because of the pomegranate, Cupid’s Kiss because I love iris and Julien Rasquinet, and Masa because of its scent profile and I’m interested in Kajal in general , hence I only had the pleasure of smelling and on the next day buying IV
“Their beauty lies in their singularity, the way true romance does.” was such a powerful and inviting message. I can’t stop thinking about Masa right now . From the EU
    Lovely opportunity

  • Love is in the air, everywhere I look around
Love is in the air, every sight and every sound
And I don’t know if I’m being foolish
Don’t know if I’m being wise
But it’s something that I must believe in
And it’s there when I look in your eyes

Love Is In The Air by John Paul Young

The classic song by Paul Young came to mine when I read the article and watched Redolessence YouTube video 🙂
Neela Vermeire i believe is one of a kind person. LOVE Bombay Bling, and original Mohur, and now thanks to both of you I’m pumped for Mohur Extrait too. Smooth, floral and balsamic fragrance , deeper than Mohur , sounds fantastic. Every single aspect of the fragrance has its own place, nicely blended and adding to the whole picture .
The only Electimuss London fragrance I’ve smelled is Amber Aquilaria, it smells fantastic. To my knowledge the house most popular fragrance, at least on Instagram and YouTube, Steven is also praising it regularly in his Fall and Winter top10 videos.
Julien Rasquinet and leather, iris , fruits , spices and natural oud combination in Cupid’s Kiss is a match made in Heaven. I like the suede leather the most, together with powdery cacao and complex facet, the sustainable approach by the brand , and of course the iris .
Half classy and refined, and half playful and maybe even slightly lustful , i think I can make a statement wearing Masa
I like the whole experience , the citruses, and the tart and mildly sweet fruity base , ambery touches , the oceanic and the woody feel , sophisticated fragrance at its best. No wonder Masa means diamond in Arabic , uncommon inspiration for a fragrance. Thank for the information Michelyn ♀️
My favorite Kajal fragrance is Joorie, high quality spicy sweet rose, with honey . Masa would be fantastic
    Thanks for the draw

Cafleurebon style of reviews are on a different level !
The two hosts were able to trick my imagination into thinking of exquisite Valentine’s Day fragrances , from the classy and upscale rose in Mohur Extrait, to fun Amour Infinite and Kiss, to seductive suede leather and iris in Cupid’s Kiss and the precious diamond called Masa .
Out of the five fragrances most appealing to me are Neela Vermeire Creations Mohur Extrait and Kajal Perfumes Masa.
Mohur Extrait i imagine smells divine, rose fragrance on a different level if even expert like Michelyn Camen can’t restraint herself and her love for everything Mohur Extrait represents.
Kajal Perfumes Masa is strong woody and ambery mixture, sparkling ginger and watery notes , here the boldness and love are perfectly dosed .
By all means YES to Kajal Masa
Thank you to Kajal, Kintessence , Cafleurebon , Redolessence and Michelyn Camen

  • This was an interesting array of Valentine’s Day hits that would stop most in there tracks. The cupids kiss is the one that stands out to me. The combination of orris and oud makes it super intriguing. All sound great but once again cupids kiss has all of the elements I’d really enjoy. Would love to win, from USA.

  • Wow, what a wonderful thing to read and watch ! It truly transported me to a cozy French café where everything is made by hand with Mohur Extrait, to a patisserie with Amour Infinite and Rayhaan Kiss, to Kentucky Derby horse racing event with Cupid’s Kiss and Mediterranean vacation with friends and love ones with Masa.
I own two fragrances from Fragments by NVC collection, but I’m not familiar with Neela Vermeire main line. Mohur Extrait feels like upscale niche perfumery done really well, rose fragrance you can’t compared to anything else.
Masa truly transported me to a Mediterranean seacoast , sounds absolutely wonderful and luxurious— that mix of radiant amber variety of different woods , oceanic notes and ginger is just raw comfort in a bottle. I’ve always been a fan of Kajal Lamar and it seems like Masa carries that same emotional core so lyrical and cozy . I can’t wait to try it , especially in those days when I’d like to have a soothing cloud surrounding me. Masa fingers crossed

Cafleurebon is The expert in niche fragrances , and since Mohur Extrait, Amour Infinite, Kiss, Cupid’s Kiss and Masa are represented on the blog the excellent quality is guaranteed.
Out of all the fragrance information provided by Michelyn Camen and Redolessence I’m interested in Mohur Extrait , Cupid’s Kiss and Masa the most.
Mohur Extrait is pure Valentine’s Day emotions turned into scent, maybe not something I’d wear all year round, but on special occasions only.
To me Cupid’s Kiss is well balanced fragrance with sense of elegance coming from the suede leather and the iris.
Kajal Masa is unapologetic ode to all who knows how to enjoy every single day , and like woods , ginger , different fruits, and oceanic notes altogether. That’s how I’d describe the fragrance after knowing Michelyn Camen and Redolessence evaluation . Some fragrances do more than smell beautiful – they speak to the heart , and Masa absolutely speaks to me.
I’m eager to participate , EU

Fruits I’d like to eat , flowers I’d like to smell , leather goods I’d like to wear, multiple trips I’d like to take , Cafleurebon Top 5 Valentine’s Day list represents all I need and more , talking about artistic approach .
I approach rose fragrances carefully but Neela Vermeire Creations Mohur Extrait is special i can tell since it sounds like a painting by Monet , but I guess it’s exactly what Bertrand Duchaufour is capable of doing if his gives his best.
Cupid’s Kiss is leather based fragrance that would easily bring out the inner rebel inside of me.
Hey Masa , where have you been up until now?? I’m well aware of most Kajal fragrances, in my possession are not one but five , and I’m very much looking forward of trying Masa . I need to know about the radiant ambers, warm woods , patchouli and ginger . It seems like Masa is a fragrance that would suit me perfectly. I live in UK

  • The intro by Michelyn is so well put!
I believe it’s easy to say you enjoyed co-curating the Valentine’s Day theme quite a lot
There are rose fragrances, good rose fragrances , high quality rose fragrances and there’s Neela Vermeire Creations Mohur Extrait. Queen of Flowers crowned in spice, then bathed in benzoin and rich amber thanks to a genius perfumer like Bertrand Duchaufour .
Electimuss London Cupid’s Kiss is half romantic and cozy , half daring fragrance , created with the intention of making the wearer realize how all forms of love and complicated . Powerful and novelty leather fragrance, with dark sweetness layers , cacao, iris essence and oud , don’t think I’ve smelled anything like that before.
The idea of adding Mirabelle plum and ginger to radiant amber and warm woods through it , only comes to show the creative parts of Moe Khalaf and Marc Daniel Heimgartner characters . Powerful and novelty fragrance, with lots of twists , no wonder Michelyn Camen thinks there’s a soft , lingering sensuality in Masa that feels like skin warmed by lover’s touch.
Kajal Perfumes fragrance called Lamar i own , and I’ll be happy to win Masa

    Thank you for the generosity

  • Michelyn introduction made me think of commercialization of all Holidays, it’s not just Valentine’s Day imo
With her experience i so wonder what kind of fragrance is in a way close to perfect when it comes to rose fragrances , and “absolutely unforgettable ” type of properties. I’d like to know if Mohur Extrait is as good as Trayee , my favorite from Neela Vermeire. Should i order a samlpe and bath in benzoin , amber and brilliant rose? I think i should and i will.
I’ve sampled Cupid’s Kiss and suede leather accord is beautiful, the oud and the vanilla and cocoa sweetness in the drydown. It could be my skin but iris I barely detect , I do detect maple syrup though.
Masa sounds really good very much a refined fragrance, with some playful plum sweetness that’s not artificial – something important , fresh ginger, grapefruit, marine accords and radiant amber .The quantity of the perfume is there , and I can’t stop admiring the designer’s work , Kajal hired someone very talented , astonishing work .
I’d love to win Cupid’s Kiss
Thank you Michelyn ,Steven , Kintessence , Moe Khalaf and Kajal

  • Valentine’s Day may not organic, but at least all 5 of Redolessence and Michelyn Camen reviews are genuine and fragrances are top quality
Rose has been used for centuries because the the romantic and/or seductive properties, even during Marc Antony and Cleopatra times.
Recently I sampled Fragments by NVC collection and even bought Thyina, it smells fantastic. I believe Neela Vermeire is on the right track, hopefully she’ll stay independent too in the future. Mohur Extrait is next to impossible to sample in Germany, but I’m thrilled by the way Michelyn feels about it , calling the fragrance a brilliant melding of East and West sensibilities. The whole experience is comprised of high quality rose crowned in spices, and then bathed in benzoin and rich amber. I always acknowledge such spiritual fragrances.
Spicy leather, gentle woods , cacao and iris fragrance made by Julien Rasquinet? Sounds fantastic, I can tell Electimuss London commitment to artistry and innovation continues with Cupid’s Kiss, sustainable LMR ingredients , and complicated kind of love inspiration.
I’ve been a Kajal and Moe Khalaf supporter for a very long time, such a great brand, big fan of Homme I and II,, I know a few other fragrances, but not the the brand’s latest edition . I need to order some samples soon.
Masa I imagine leaves a a tempting trail behind and is a perfect match for the days I’d like to wear a happy romantic fragrance. As usual the whole presentation is top notch.
Masa is what I need right now

  • I enjoyed the article very , and I mean VERY much . Felt like i had a revitalizing shot of Valentine’s Day energy

☆ Neela Vermeire Creations Mohur Extrait

“is similar to Neela’s original Mohur, but deeper, richer and absolutely unforgettable.”

I agree Mohut Extrait is unforgettable , I also feel like the profile is not quite the same compared to Mohur. It’s not just richer and deeper, it a bit sweeter and more jammy, the base is more ambery too.
Being a Pastry Chef i’ll also never forget how Ida once compared Mohur Extrait with Gulab Jamun , shout out to you too Ida ❤

☆ Electimuss London Cupid’s Kiss 10ml travel spray i own , beautiful leather with pronounced sweetness in the base .

☆ it’s almost like MASA was made for me. Your take on MASA made me think of being on the beach in Valencia, Spain , and eating Mirabelle Ginger Cake , with almonds and cardamom. The whole picture, the cake and the breeze from the ocean is how believe MASA will smell.
Appreciate the reviews , and the giveaway campaign
