Home for the Holidays by Statik Olfactive

Sometimes the best ideas are the ones you least expect, the unplanned ones! Hence, ‘Home for the Holidays’ was born!” Chris Martin, Founder/Creative Director of Statik Olfactive

Where to begin with the new Statik Olfactive Perfume? The moment I unwrapped and sprayed Home for the Holidays, I was suddenly flooded with warm, joyous memories. Equal parts kitchen warmth, laughter, and fireside hush. It keeps pulling me back, turning brief moments into a scent that lingers on my sweater and in my memory. It’s nostalgically crafted: layered, rich, and unapologetically festive.

First spray of Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays is instant warmth. The opening is a golden rush of baked apple, and cinnamon — think oven-warm fruit tarts in a rich, flaky pastry. There’s a spice lift that pins the scent to holiday baking right away, but it’s not one-note. The gingerbread in the top/heart sits like a freshly warm iced slice, sweet but spiced, cushioning the initial crispness into something more plush. I recall the smells from my childhood kitchen when the anticipation of holiday treats filled the air and every tiny flicker of the oven seemed like magic. This fragrance captures that comfort perfectly.

As Home for the Holidays continues to develop, the heart becomes the star. This is where the composition gets interesting and a little cheeky. Sugared spice and gingerbread set the stage, but the buttery, slightly salty edge of popcorn and the smoky, gooey idea of toasted s’mores push it into gourmand territory. The Irish cream and steamed milk add a creamy, tempering effect, balancing the sugar and giving the blend a slight boozy warmth — not overpowering, more like a cozy hint. Coffee threads through the middle; it bounces in like an energetic barista, giving me that much-needed perkiness, perfect for fueling those late-night wrapping sessions—elbow-deep in ribbons and glitter while trying to keep track of which gifts belong to whom.

When Chris talked about Home for the Holidays, he didn’t start with notes or ingredients—he started with stories. Each note became a little moment of celebration, a reminder that home isn’t just a place, it’s the people who make it feel like one. Home for the Holidays captures that warm embrace in a bottle.”  Hez Binkowitz, Perfumer

The base of Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays arrives and stays —the part that turns moments into memories; it’s like finding the coziest spot next to a crackling fire. Caramelized brown sugar and maple give a deep, molten sweetness, but they’re balanced by aged amber and Australian sandalwood, which add density and a velvet smoothness. There’s a clean, slightly mineral thread — gray ambergris and white musk — that keeps the sweetness from becoming cloying and gives the scent a refined finish. The Colombian coffee is a quiet but essential anchor, working low and slow; it provides the base with a roasted depth that makes the sweetness smell lived-in and real, like something slowly caramelizing over a low flame.

Via the brand

Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays walks the line between celebration and nostalgia. There’s a clear compositional intelligence that balances sugar and smoke, cream and resin. For me, it channeled the spirit of the season. It’s the smell of hospitality that’s been polished, not staged — comforting, familiar, and a touch luxurious. What I adore about this scent is how effortlessly it transitions. I find it akin to that favorite holiday movie I can watch over and over—there’s comfort in the familiar, but every time I wear it, I discover something new.

Home for the Holidays is a fragrance that instantly sparks memories for me. I’ll reach for it on crisp nights, to wear to holiday gatherings, and whenever I want that feeling of coming home.

Notes: baked apple, spiced gingerbread, cinnamon bark, holiday spice, buttered popcorn, toasted s’mores, Irish cream liqueur, coffee, steamed milk, caramelized brown sugar, maple, Colombian coffee absolute, scotch pine, balsam fir, aged amber, Australian sandalwood, gray ambergris, white musk

If I remember correctly, most of the Statik line tends to be on the daring/brooding side but this one goes all the way gourmand. Hez Benkowitz really knows how to work with the sweet kind of notes to make something gourmand-esque but not over-cloying sweet to the point of suffocation. It’s a subtle touch that makes all the difference. I share Sandi’s sentiment in that this scent makes you feel cozy and warm on a cold night. Lots of warm notes present to provide some much needed heat. The bottle is also quite the artwork itself reminding you to wear it every chance you get. What a treat! I’n located in the USA.

  • Sandi’s review made this perfume sound like an actual holiday hug. I could almost smell the gingerbread and coffee just reading it. The popcorn and s’mores part made me laugh a little, it sounds like the kind of chaos my kitchen turns into every December. I love cozy, edible scents, so this one sounds perfect for me. I’m in the EU.

I love spending time with my family during Thanksgiving and Christmas, and this fragrance will certainly capture the magic of all the past holiday memories that I cherish since childhood. I love that nostalgia was mentioned, along with the feeling of coming home. I live in Maryland USA.

  • Key takeaways from Sandi’s review of Home for the Holidays was the emphasis on how it walks the line between celebration and nostalgia: evoking past memories of enjoying festive holiday treats next to a cozy fire. A gourmand scent that truly encapsulates and celebrates the season with baked apple, sugared spice, gingerbread, smores, buttery and salty popcorn, a boozy and creamy Irish cream. It is a comforting scent that is perfect for cooler nights, holiday celebrations, or for its cozy nature.

  • What a lovely way to embrace the spirit of the season! The idea of “Home for the Holidays” by STATIK Olfactive crafted by Hez Binkowitz captures the warmth, joy and festivity of the holidays so beautifully. It sounds like a scent memory worth sharing — thank you to the team at Café L’Éle Bon for this wonderful opportunity! ️✨

  • This really is a scent that brings back so much memories I can just tell from the notes it’s gonna smell just like grandmas kitchen during the holidays hez makes very good gourmands I own bourbon street and it’s my favorite so I know without of doubt this is a wonderful memory driven fragrance much love to everyone happy holidays

  • Hez Binkowitz’s 2025 article on Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays is a fragrant triumph. Sandi’s review lit a spark; her line about “the hush of fresh snow and the warmth of cinnamon-laced cider” pulled me straight into a memory: stuck in holiday traffic, snow swirling, carols crackling, and laughter bouncing around the car. We weren’t going anywhere fast, but we were together, warm and joyful in our little moving bubble.

After diving into Statik Olfactive’s lineup, Into the Wild caught my eye. As a chypre devotee, the promise of earthy depth and mossy elegance is irresistible. This house doesn’t just craft scent; it distills emotion, memory, and mood into every bottle. Scented regards from NY, USA.

  • TinaBrimlow says:

I love this review. It is written in such a way that I can feel every word she is saying. She describes the scent as a celebration. It reminded me of when I was younger and my grandma would bake. She described everything that I felt in my grandma’s kitchen.

  • Momo_Inhales says:

I love the idea of being home with family and friends for the holidays. We used to have big family gatherings. My brother in law put hardwood in a roaring fire, cousins and in-laws both laughing and bickering. Everyone has their special dish or cookie or cocktail. We had pomader balls and scented candles burning. It was a feast of the senses. This is what this fragrance brings back to me. Not just the smells, but all the people and the noise and the laughter

  • This review reminded me of a Christmas scratch and sniff picture book we had when I was a kid, and I was always looked forward to reading during the holidays, even as the sniff wore away. I just looked it up…The Sweet Smell of Christmas. I would love to have christmas in a bottle! Thank you for the generous draw and fabulous draw.

  • so many cozy and comforting notes. I think my favorite would be the flaky fruit pastry part. I love the coffee as the quiet anchor to the fragrance. This scent would be perfect for those late night gift wrapping sessions. Thanks for a chance to win this warm hug of the holidays. USA.

  • Right way in the review Sandi stated “the moment I unwrapped and sprayed Home for the Holidays, I was suddenly flooded with warm, joyous memories”. You know this fragrance is going to be a vibe, one of holiday nostalgia. It reminds me of holidays with my family. Memories of my family gathering at grandma’s on Christmas eve, seeing the big pine tree with a star on top, leading to Christmas morning breakfast and gifts.

  • Nuvare Aenra says:

Sandi’s review is incredibly evocative! What truly sparks my interest is her description of the fragrance’s development—how it starts with the familiar warmth of baked goods but then reveals a “cheeky” heart of buttered popcorn and toasted s’mores. That unexpected gourmand twist sounds absolutely delightful and much more complex than a typical holiday scent. It makes me feel like I can almost smell it through the screen.

My favorite holiday memory is also tied to scent: the crisp, aromatic smell of a real pine tree being brought into the house, mixed with the smoky sweetness of my grandmother’s clove-studded orange pomanders. It was the official signal that the magic of the season had begun.

Thank you for this wonderful review and the chance to reminisce!

  • A fragrance that sparks memories. This is what the holidays have become as we’ve gained years and wrinkles and the kids are becoming young adults. This sounds like walking into the house after clearing the driveway from a fresh cost of snow and mom is making her famous cookies. “Compositional intelligence” as Sandi coins it! Favorite memory: Our themed holiday celebrations ranging from light beer tastings to lederhosen. All silly, fun and locked in our collective memories forever. Cheers and Happy Holidays from Ohio, USA! 🙂

  • I was particularly struck by the line, “It’s the smell of hospitality that’s been polished, not staged.” That’s such a nuanced and compelling way to describe a fragrance it suggests authenticity and warmth rather than something overly perfect. It makes me very curious to experience this balance of sugar and smoke for myself.

My favorite holiday memory is less about the food and more about the feeling. It was every Christmas Eve, when my entire family would pile into the car to look at the neighborhood light displays. The windows would be slightly foggy, we’d have hot chocolate in thermoses, and the car would be filled with a mix of chilly night air and the scent of the pine air freshener. It was pure, quiet joy. This fragrance seems to capture that same spirit of cozy, shared moments.

Thanks for the lovely giveaway opportunity I am in the EU

  • Hot coffee, caramelized sugar, snowing and Christmas tree! So warm and fantastic review! The notes are so festive I want so much to feel it! Thank you Statik Olfactive 🙂 From EU.

  • I’ve been loving Statik Olfactive’s new fragrance releases – they all sound so delicious. Home for the Holidays was immediately added to my test list once it was announced on Statik’s Instagram. The opening of baked apple and cinnamon, in addition to the gingerbread, makes me think of Christmastime. Like Sandi, it evokes my childhood kitchen during the holidays. I am really intrigued by the popcorn and toasted s’mores notes! The heart of the fragrance sounds like a gourmand lover’s dream. However, the base notes of sandalwood, amber, and musk sound just as good. I am glad to hear that the fragrance doesn’t become cloying. Home for the Holidays does sound very nostalgic, and I would love the opportunity to own a bottle.

One of my favorite holiday memories is from two years ago. I’ve been the primary caregiver for my mom (who’s also my best friend!) for the past six years. She was diagnosed with a rare neurodegenerative disease, and she had been talking about kittens since she was diagnosed. We already had one elderly cat, but my mom wanted a kitten so badly. In 2023, on Christmas Eve, we surprised her with two adorable black kittens! My small family (mom, dad, and sister) all enjoyed that cozy night together with two new members of the family.

Thank you, Sandi, for the wonderful review, and thank you to Statik Olfactive for the generous giveaway. I am located in the USA.

  • Sandi’s review makes me feel like I have stepped into a Hallmark Holiday movie. The description makes me think that if I close my eyes, I can smell the preparation for the holidays, tree trimming, baked desserts and story telling by the bonfire on Christmas Eve night. I love this review.

  • reyessence89 says:

Sandi’s review makes me want to have a fireplace put in my house, drink a hot toddy, and pray for a white Christmas. What a review! And Statik Olfactive’s Home for the Holidays might make a lot of people homesick! I live in the US.

While I have not been lucky enough to test anything curated by Chris, I have smelled and loved Hez’s creations! This sounds like something that will create a memory to last a lifetime & I would be ecstatic to try it out!

  • louisianablondie says:

This description reminds me of my childhood when my grandmother would stand in the kitchen and make a huge batch of homemade eggnog while the family sat in the living room laughing and visiting…fireplace roaring & the hint of bourbon and sugar wafting through the air. While I have not been lucky enough to test anything curated by Chris, I have smelled and loved Hez’s creations! This sounds like something that will create a memory to last a lifetime & I would be ecstatic to try it out!

This could be the perfect Christmas scent this year! I can imagine due to Sandi’s description that this blend creates a warm and inviting scent that it really conveys the holiday spirit and that sparked my interest. What drew me in the most is the cheeky heart of Home for the Holidays! Buttered Popcorn, Toasted S’mores, Irish Cream Liqueur, Coffee & Steamed Milk sound so divine! A festive invitation to savor this mouthwatering fragrance that evokes the magic and warmth of holiday cheer!
As for my favorite holiday memory and nostalgia.. would be all the festive cooking preparations that my mother did in her kitchen, the aromas and the spices being captured as my first olfactory memories.
Thank you for this amazing opportunity and for this Gorgeous review!

  • This sounds so good and reminds me of the holiday memory of having my mom’s baked apple cinnamon roll break apart dessert after a day of yardwork and a bonfire made up of mostly pine. Comforting sugar, smoke, cream, and resin all in one is very home smelling to me. I’m in the USA

  • Once upon a time I went to a place that created custom perfume blends to try to capture this exact feeling. The nostalgia, yet celebration of winter holidays! Mine didn’t quite work the way that I wanted it to. My favorite holiday memories are of making cardamom bread. I am in the US.

  • Kassie Tocko says:

oh, how beautiful! christmas & the holidays are so nostalgic for everyone- & who doesn’t love nostalgia? this fragrance is the literal definition of evoking nostalgia- that is something so special. to close your eye’s & be back in your grandmother’s kitchen w/all the beautiful memories… or, wherever those core memories are for you. to be able to actually transport you elsewhere is something that is so magical. listening to the fragrance notes, they sound so magical as well. it’s like where fragrance becomes memory & scent tells a story of home. sandi doesn’t just describe fragrance notes- it unwraps nostalgia layering sensory collection with affection & detail. you can almost smell the baked apples, hear the laughter in the other room, & feel the glow from the fire reflected in the language. what makes this piece special is how sandi mirrored the fragrance w/the emotional intent. this review lingers like the sound of the fragrance does- rich, cozy, & luminous. it reminds readers that fragrance is more than an adornment, it’s a vessel for memory, love, & belonging. i do have a favorite holiday memory & that is a christmas when i was w/my grandparent’s, many moos ago- they are gone now, so i hold that christmas memory near to my heart. i wonder if hez’s new perfume would help transport me right back to that day, that time, that place. :). it sounds like it might & i am so excited for the reader that will get to experience such a treasure! thank you for the beautiful reading experience & thank you creating such a beautiful fragrance! :). i am in the united states.

  • I adore spicy scents! The gingerbread, along with the Irish cream note, sound like something I would really enjoy. This reminds me of one particular holiday memory: When I was in 7th grade, I brought in a gingerbread castle for my social studies project. Unexpectedly, the whole class wanted to eat it after it had been graded! I live in USA.

  • The holidays bring back precious family moments. I remember hanging those delicate glass Christmas ornaments on a fragrant hand picked balsam fir tree. Thanks for the memories. MI USA

  • I was sucked in by Sandi’s description of the notes, which is rare as I usually go for vibe-based reviews. However, french press coffee with Bailey’s Irish cream was a Christmas morning tradition for my parents, one that I’d forgotten about until reading this review. Just reading about those notes brought back so much — I can’t wait to get my nose on this perfume. I live in the US.

  • Hez Binkowitz’s fragrances always sound so delicious…and this one is certainly no exception. But what most draws me to Sandi’s review is that smells are a particularly important part of my holiday memories. All of my favorite holiday memories revolve around family (which is, as far as I’m concerned, the most important part of the holidays). My family lives in many places across the US…and has lived in many more. But something about this review made me think of memories I have of holidays spent in my wife’s mid-size hometown in Ohio. My family is Jewish; hers is Christian. And I grew up in California. Holidays spent with my in-laws were always full of what I think of as stereotypical Midwestern Christmas parties. Visiting them in December was always a bit like being in a Hallmark movie. I wouldn’t want to live there…but it was a delightful place to visit. My inlaws have long since moved away from Ohio, so these memories are also permanently lodged in the past. But every time I encounter evocations of the holidays in that particular mode, I think of my holidays in Ohio. Sounds like Home for the Holidays will bring back those memories! I’m in Oklahoma, USA.

  • I have been searching for the perfect all-encompassing holiday fragrance, and lo and behold, this popped up! I’m absolutely intrigued by the notes!! My favorite holiday memory is decorating the Christmas tree with my parents as an only child!! I live in Cypress, Tx in the USA!!

  • Sandi’s vivid description of the fragrance evoking cozy kitchen warmth and nostalgic holiday baking really sparks my interes – it sounds like bottled joy! My favorite memory is baking gingerbread cookies with my grandma, the house filled with cinnamon and laughter. I live in Poland, EU.

  • This is a perfect fall gourmand fragrance. Apples and spice combine with booze and cappuccino flavors to deliver scents to be savored near a roaring fire. The woods and forest elements work with an aged amber to provide a comforting base. As Sandi mentions it’s the balance between celebration and nostalgia. MD, USA

  • Kensolfactoryodyssey says:

The spark for me comes from those in-between holiday moments — not the big parties, but the quiet warmth of a kitchen still smelling like baked apples and spice long after everyone’s gone to bed. Home for the Holidays sounds like it captures that hush — the lived-in kind of comfort that feels real. I live in the Bay Area, USA.

  • crownroyale47 says:

I found Sandi’s review interesting because she didn’t just describe the notes, she described feelings. I appreciate that this fragrance was built from a story instead of a formula. “Home for the Holidays” sounds like a wearable memory. I know holiday season isn’t always joyous for people as memories of lost loved ones come up frequently, but the way this fragrance is portrayed made me picture laughter in the kitchen, warm desserts straight from the oven, and that comforting quiet that settles in after everyone’s eaten. The way she described the base: caramelized brown sugar, maple, amber, and sandalwood is exactly the type of rich, smooth dry down that usually earns me those “you smell incredible” compliments I love. It sounds like the kind of scent that lingers on a sweater, turning into your personal signature through the season.
My favorite holiday memory is my family being together and just eating and laughing. I’m from the US. New Jersey.

  • wallygator88 says:

Thanks for the festive and cozy review! Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays conjures the feeling of a warm living room during the season—cinnamon and clove sparkling upfront, tender pine needles and crimson berries in the mid-notes, and a soft base of spiced woods and amber that grounds the brightness. What struck me most is how the holiday nostalgia is captured without feeling cliché; the resinous woods keep it grounded, while the berry-pine touch keeps it fresh. I can imagine wearing this during a quiet evening with twinkling lights and hot cocoa. I’d love to try Home for the Holidays!

I wonder if the collaboration with Hez pushed it into the boozier side?

    Cheers from WI, USA

  • Shibuichi2000 says:

It sounds as if they really achieved this miracle – to encapsulate in a perfume bottle all that magic feeling of being home for the holidays.
My favourite memory is trying not to fall asleep under the warm blanket, watching the flames’ shadows dancing on the ceiling, the fire crackling and the smell of burning wood – maybe not necessarily great as a perfume, but I’d still love to find that in a perfume.
    I’m from EU.

In my steadily growing fragrance collection there are no American indie artistic fragrances and I’m very much looking forward of trying Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays
Even though Sandi Lundberg spoke of all the different gourmand aspects of the fragrance like the caramelized brown sugar and Columbian coffee , the smoke and resins with no sugar-bomb gimmicks and Hez Binkowitz own words made the difference for me.
I love clubbing and Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays is just perfect for the times i’m going to more high end parties , tranquil and cozy aroma , like a beautiful and unique song.

  • I decided to share my takeaway about Sandi Lundberg comforting ambery gourmand take on Home for the Holidays first since it’s important to me

“Home for the Holidays captures that warm embrace in a bottle.” Hez Binkowitz, Perfumer”

It’s interesting that I developed my affinity for such moments in my late 20s first, the Holiday spirits is something I cherish a lot more now.
I’m currently preparing for my 19th for the year craft exhibition in Madrid Spain , and as artisan myself, I’m a leather arts craft woman i can’t even describe how overjoyed , with the help of Nicoleta Tomsa older articles I felt today after reading about Chris Martin and Hez Binkowitz life cycles. Crafting always brings joy to the artist no questions asked. We share a lot of common objectives and principles, Chris Martin , Hez Binkowitz and I .
Of course other the latest and the previous articles i also enjoyed Sandi Lundberg experiences with Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays , a bit dark but comforting gourmand , directly influenced by Holidays spirits nature. Not just the great smelling aroma with baked goods , coffee and vanilla , there’s also pine , sandalwood and different temptations , it’s almost like Home for the Holidays is part of a Christmas story.
    Much appreciated, EU

Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays is trend setting fragrance with a lot of contrasts, from dark-roasted coffee beans to woody , delicious and resinous depth .
Sandi Lundberg, Chris Martin and Hez Binkowitz share affection for art and craftsmanship , one of the reasons Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays worked like a charm for her .
Sandi work with the latest Statik Olfactive release is like invading the senses poetic invitation. Memories from her childhood kitchen, freshly brewed coffee, delicious gingerbread cookies and powdery woody haze . Home for the Holidays is piece of art elegant fragrance

  • Captivating reads , no mistake I even read Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays twice in a row , no joke. Into the Wild , Scarlett Lady , Crème de Menthe Café and American perfumers profile of Hez Binkowitz were all quite interesting as well.
I can’t help but to be impressed how Chris Martin and Hez Binkowitz are able to leave a mark on the fragrance market in late 2025 where competition is fearsome to say the least.
I’m exposed to niche perfumery but not yet to Statik Olfactive , and i can’t help but to be impressed how the owners of the brand gave Hez Binkowitz a platform to create a very special woody and spicy gourmand fragrance with sandalwood, cinnamon treats , Columbian coffee , Irish cream liquor and cozy depth.
Other than wanting to win the contemporary high-end Statik Olfactive fragrance called Home for the Holidays, I’d also love to visit Hez Binkowitz lab , sounds like fun
EU , thank you very much

  • I believe it’s easy to say Sandi Lundberg enjoyed exploring Home for the Holidays from Statik Olfactive way more than usual.
The idea of adding Australian sandalwood, smoke and resins to coffee from Columbia , and then again resinous base , only comes to show the creative part of Chris Martin Hez Binkowitz characters.
Powerful and novelty fragrance with lots of twists , a bit nostalgic according to Sandi Lundberg, such a beautiful creation , no wonder she thinks Home for the Holidays is smooth , cozy and complex.

    Thank you for the generosity

  • I’m very picky about brands and fragrances I’m wearing, especially gourmands with ambery base and Hez Binkowitz fragrances and in particular Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays is on my radar after all the praises both from Sandi Lundberg from Cafleurebon and on Instagram . I’d love to try Crème de Menthe Café, Scarlett Lady, Into the Wild as well as Jackson Square, Bourbon Street, Plum Conficrure and Banana Banshee i know of thanks to Nicoleta Tomsa and Karl , and now thanks to Sandi Lundberg i’m aware Hez Binkowitz just created another gem called Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays.
I was not expecting he’d create a dense gourmand with rich black Columbian coffee , slight boozy warmth, energetic but not overpowering . Home for the Holidays is a high-end contemporary gourmand, and I’m particularly interested in the cozy aura of the fragrance .
    Thanks a bunch

If she believes the fragrance captures the Holidays comfort perfectly the scent should be outstanding. I believe the smoke, Irish cream liquor , the resinous drydown and the premium Columbian coffee are making Home for the Holidays so addictive and unapologetic , i can’t even imagine how good it really is , dopamine rush i can already feel.

I’m quite selective in terms of coffee and gourmand fragrances , and especially those that combine the two genres.
Sandi Lundberg assessment of Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays brought not just her , but me back to my childhood when grandma used to bake different gingerbread and cinnamon treats , and me and grandpa were roasting and grinding the coffee beans , great times I miss a lot.
I became instantly attracted to the comforting gourmand smell of Home for the Holidays together with carefully selected by Hez Binkowitz other deeper and darker shades like the Columbian coffee , smoke and sandalwood . I really like the dance between delicious and daring.
When I buy new niche fragrance the quality should be outstanding, and the with certain level of uniqueness , I’m definitely impressed.
Sum total i love the whole Sandi Lundberg read , the older reads and I’d also love to win a bottle of Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays

  • I like the more thoughtful overall experience I just had. I learned about Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays distinct and complex scent , starting with baked apples, dark strong coffee , and going forward with enticing aromas like amber and and Australian sandalwood .
[ Equal parts kitchen warmth, laughter, and fireside hush. It keeps pulling me back, turning brief moments into a scent that lingers on my sweater and in my memory.]
I’m all for being involved in this
My personal final flourish is the harmony Hez Binkowitz was able to achieve between between tasty , dark and seductive elements.
I am a gourmand and sophisticated scent profiles lover and Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays appeals to me greatly.

  • I read a couple of Statik Olfactive, and Hez Binkowitz and Hez Parfums articles and I had no other option but to go to the previous essays like Michelyn Camen suggested to get me up to speed with the path they follow , and and I’m glad I did… good and creative people with a vision for the future.
Not yet familiar with Hez Binkowitz work but dreaming big is a must for every self driven person, perfumer and brand owner like him or a barber like me . The based on creativity approach i like a lot, no doubt great things are in the store for him and his friend Chris Martin, the founder and creative director of Statik Olfactive.
Nostalgically crafted feel mixed with Colombian coffee , boozy warmth, molten sweetness and smoke, Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays is a fragrance where perfumery traditions meeting new horizons. To me the Colombian coffee and Irish cream liquor facets are giving Home for the Holidays unique contemporary spin , according to Sandi Lundberg the fragrance has that cozy and nostalgic presence.

  • What else to ask? Made by Hez Binkowitz exotic spicy and woody gourmand cocktail with sandalwood , spiced gingerbread, maple and coffee clashing with Australian sandalwood in a velvety powdery cloud, a brilliant idea to counter the gourmand facets.
I like the classical style of the bottle , the golden top and I’m excited for Statik Olfactive and Hez Binkowitz in general.
I absolutely love the specific festive qualities of Home for the Holidays, and i find interesting the whole dark yet cozy delicious atmosphere. Immersive multi-sensorial experience i believe.

  • Thanks to Sandi Lundberg review i started thinking about cabin in the woods , getting up early in the morning to start the fireplace , still windy and rather cold watching the horizon. Then a double espresso follows with a bit of Irish cream and a few gingerbread cookies.
I’m now curious about Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays and the way it evolves. The contrast between the baked apples start , coffee , spices and boozy wink , day and night, the profound sense of resinous and amber woody base Sandi spoke of is to die for.
I love Hez Binkowitz and Chris Martin idea of focusing on the notes almost like they were telling a Christmas story
    Thank you, and fingers crossed

There’s a saying that good ideas start with brainstorming, but great ideas start with coffee . I have a feeling for all those years Hez Binkowitz had hundreds of such brainstorming moments, and thousands cups of coffee in between , I wonder how came up with the idea of mixing Colombian coffee, Irish cream, buttered popcorn, smoke and sandalwood?!?
My takeaway about Sandi Lundberg article is the overall sense of good spirits with delicious treats and coffee heritage , plus the novelty approach blended together to perfection. It appeals to me that Hez Binkowitz infused into Home for the Holidays his own love for baked goods.
As a result of his work I’d like to know how the luxury not overly sweet treat called Home for the Holidays smells. In light of Sandi Lundberg review I have no doubt the fragrance is stunning.
    Many thanks , EU

  • Really looking forward to sampling this brand—their catalog is expanding and includes a lot of thematic range. I’m adverse to sticky-sweet gourmands, but Home for the Holidays sounds like a more well-rounded fragrance, spiking baked fruit pastry with salt, spice, cream, coffee, and a boozy bite. Hez managed to pack in all sorts of cozy Rockwell winter holiday notes. The way they’re balanced with the base is intriguing too—especially that “slightly mineral thread” of gray ambregris and the roasted coffee. “There’s a clear compositional intelligence that balances sugar and smoke, cream and resin.” I’d love to wear it this season (my favorite holiday memory is of sledding down giant piles of snow plowed together at the family farm).

    I’m in the USA.

  • Home for the holidays, this seems like a fragrance baked in nostalgia and warmth. The gourmands gingerbread spices, apple pie, with creaminess, and coffee. This is where fragrance becomes magical. In its ability to capture or relive the stories our noses can transport us to and hopefully build new ones. My favorite memory of my childhood is my mothers Christmas houses collection. The hard laborious work to pull them from the storage closet to putting them up oh so perfectly in her mind. To the bowl of Hershey kisses I’d raid everyday after school. The smells of home cooking and the holiday movies. Knowing Christmas break was near and the presents and family time to come. NY, USA

Coming from someone who’s rather recently started delving into niche perfumery thanks to Cafleurebon , i have to say the style of reviews here is on a different level
Hez Binkowitz , Chris Martin and Sandi Lundberg were able to trick my imagination into thinking of strong black coffee , baked apples and handmade spiced gingerbread treats where the sweetness and boldness are perfectly dosed and compounded to alluring amber and sandalwood.

“I recall the smells from my childhood kitchen when the anticipation of holiday treats filled the air and every tiny flicker of the oven seemed like magic. This fragrance captures that comfort perfectly.”

By all means YES to what Sandi Lundberg stated about Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays, eye-opening and zealous review and one spectacular fragrance.

It’s interesting how Sandi Lundberg essay and her approach invoked the best of Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays different aspects , and I’m loving it.
There are nods to hospitality , desire , coziness , Australian sandalwood , coffee and musk yet Hez Binkowitz also added current day trendy delicious nuances of caramel, spiced gingerbread and Irish cream.
I love Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays smoothness and richness. Thanks to Sandi Lundberg feel scented now with one sweet and classy fragrance , and I need a coffee and apple pie now as well. Many thanks for the chance

Home for the Holidays from Statik Olfactive sounds great, I’m fascinated by the love affair between the delicious but not sugary sweet baked apples and cookies from one angle, and the more daring and dark Colombian coffee and amber on another . Sandi Lundberg pointed out that the fragrance smells quite realistic , like a polished hospitality leading to a brilliant gourmand and woody cloud , there’s a theory that opposites attract and Hez Binkowitz work is the evidence.
The intricate layering of palatable and edgy , maybe even playful notes , plus the beautiful melody with jazz rhythm in front of the fireplace narrative do make Home for the Holidays enchanting and multifaceted.
    Thanks a lot EU

Passion for coffee , baked goods and sophisticated fragrances is mutual , moreover I find Home for the Holidays super attractive.
I’ve always been favorable to coffee , sandalwood and caramel , although never experienced baked apple as a note , but here it gives the fragrance a beautiful spin , nice work .

I like the way Sandi Lundberg shared the way she perceives perceive Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays focusing on the stories behind the fragrance , how the aroma amells and makes her feel, who the perfumer is. Sharing Hez Binkowitz and Chris Martin thoughts of the fragrance and a couple of extra links was helpful since I’m not familiar with him and Statik Olfactive as well.
The scent profile made me think of a wedding that I organized last week where the couple wanted a gingerbread apples wedding cake . Strange request for a wedding cake , but the pastry chef I’m working with did some splendid work.
Home for the Holidays to me is the happy medium between premium quality  gingerbread apples wedding cake , a cup of good coffee ,  pinch of Irish cream and caramel , that’s the  image currently stuck in my mind . I’d love to discover the latest Statik Olfactive fragrance glowing in an array of delicious gourmet recipes and luxurious touches.

I like how Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays glows with the brightness of the future. Hez Binkowitz made fragrance is letting its Irish cream liquor, spiced gingerbread and caramel fun side shine bright with different coffee facets that thicken up the feel of espresso made by an experienced barista. The smoke and sandalwood are adding some unique undertones to this coffee and ambery elegance. Home for the Holidays warms your skin in a Holidays way, channeling the spirit of the season , Love that! EU

One particular phrase caught my attention from Nicoleta Tomsa description of Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays “There’s a clean, slightly mineral thread — gray ambergris and white musk — that keeps the sweetness from becoming cloying and gives the scent a refined finish.”
That’s really intriguing as I have become more attracted to refined and balanced fragrances as I’ve progressed in my fragrance journey. Sandi Lundberg absolutely delivered with her comprehensive review and painted a really excellent picture of this offering. I’m found of the delicious baked apples,  gingerbread and Irish cream , the mineral thread and sandalwood , Home for the Holidays thrills me very much. Appreciate the chance EU

  • I’ll admit I’m not much for gourmands but I have heard so much praise for this house and especially the creme de menthe release – even from folks who do not like gourmands or mint!! Therefore I know I need to start trying everying I can from this fabulous perfumer. Look at that nifty pine cone cap!

The  words used by Sandi Lundberg are truly evocative, capturing the essence of memories that many of us can relate to . I’m talking about those simple yet profound moments of passion and romance that linger around longer than any fragrance.
Sandi Lundberg framing of Hez Binkowitz made Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays as “The Colombian coffee is a quiet but essential anchor, working low and slow; it provides the base with a roasted depth that makes the sweetness smell lived-in and real, like something slowly caramelizing over a low flame.” i imagine is rooted in specific nostalgic yet hedonistic and decadent memories she had with the help of the fragrance.
All beautifully aligns with the emotional spectrum of Home for the Holidays,  and gingerbread, Irish cream , Australian sandalwood and  black coffee scent profile.EU

  • white.beard.Santa says:

From the very first moment Home for the Holidays from Statik Olfactive draws you in with a cup of black Colombian coffee , warmth ,  Irish cream and baked apples . I imagined exquisite and playful feel , almost like the beginning of a Christmas love story. But there’s more beneath the surface. As it develops, rich notes of sandalwood unfold even more and together with the amber offering both comfort and seduction. The base lingers with the elegance and the sensual closeness , warm, lasting, unforgettable fragrance.
Created by perfumer Hez Binkowitz , Home for the Holidays is a gourmand fragrance with depth. It’s sweet without being simple, romantic without being naive. It captures the intimacy of a moment with a coffee cup in your hands and some gingerbread biscuits.

It’s amazing how Chris Martin, founder and creative director of Statik Olfactive and the perfumer Hez Binkowitz worked towards turning their coffee and cinnamon and baked apples holidaytime dreams into reality .
Sandi Lundberg took her time to talk about the ingredients , the whole creative process , the chemical,  nostalgic and poetic anatomy , as well as her joyous memories,  and not just how the fragrance smells.
I’ve experienced a lot of coffee , cinnamon and apple fragrances , but nothing like Home for the Holidays.

  • Hez Binkowitz is a guy with an intricate character . Quite an extensive journey , from his state of felicity at NOLA creating fragrances for Hez Parfums and Statik Olfactive.
I’m keen on the whole Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays package and Sandi Lundberg description in a way related to gingerbread , apples , a bakery , good coffee and the Holiday spirits.
Other than the baked apples there’s coffee , delicious ambery sensuality , feel of smooth happiness , and depending on Sandi Lundberg ecstatic experience with the fragrance I’m aware Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays
is a very special delicious fragrance with lots of depth, and unique character based on the Holiday spirits with bakery in NOLA nuances.

Sandi Lundberg appreciation for creativity, baked apple goods, coffee and Hez Binkowitz talent is apparent from her article , and that doesn’t come as a surprise.
Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays is rooted in classic perfumery but taking on a modern twist and appearing so impressive .
I find the fragrance darkly emotional with a nostalgic coffee and baked apples effect, but also kind of melancholic – Home for the Holidays truly sounds like something I’d like to win. I love the idea of spicy amber with coffee , gingerbread and sandalwood mixture.

  • The magnitude of Hez Binkowitz potential is massive , It’s also remarkable that he found the work-life balance. To self-taught perfumer the solution is based on ambition , creative approach , love for perfumes and the city of New Orleans.
Like everything in real life some components of Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays are gentle like the sandalwood , some delicious like the caramel, gingerbread on top of double shot espresso and a few baked apples . The balance between smooth and sharp , delicious and bold is what I’m looking for the most. Even Sandi Lundberg is as thrilled as she’s ever been thinking about cozy resinous transparency , whispers of the holiday sweetness from her childhood and darker and woody roasted coffee rhythm that Hez Binkowitz created.

As usual there’s no basic information with Cafleurebon and Sandi Lundberg , her review is multidimensional as well .
I had in a way similar childhood and teen years like Sandi , with black coffee , toasted marshmallows , and aromas of toasted apples coming from the oven.
Yes I read all of the older Static Olfactive articles and Profiles in American perfumery with Hez Binkowitz and I’m impressed not only with his work in perfumery , but all the craft involved in his activities, how happy she is in New Orleans and how the fragrances he creates do represent the city in variety of ways.
I know niche fragrances and with the brutal competitiveness on the market i need something big to really grab my attention, and Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays high quality raw materials, mouthwatering gourmand connections, caramel and sandalwood aroma melding with the coffee and sandalwood did the trick for me.
Through Home for the Holidays I can book a flight to New Orleans and enjoying the local festivities , whiteout actually being there. You can’t beat that

The right way to start with Hez Binkowitz and Chris Martin life stories from the older reads , and then go to the present time with Sandi Lundberg review of Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays.
Apparently Hez Binkowitz was a bright mind at young age with interest in perfumes , art and creativity , soaking all kinds of inspirations from his home town of New Orleans. For a small indie brand owner and perfumer he likes triggering past and forging future artistic memories with all his creations . I can tell in Chris Martin and Statik Olfactive he found kindred spirits.
Home for the Holidays is an elegant gourmand , where gingerbread , caramel, steamed milk and dark coffee are easy to detect , on the flip side because of resinous base also possesses bolder personality. Special fragrance i’d cherish if I win.

Considering all the desirable features I’d say the fragrance has a character of its own.

  • Loyal friends are real friends, and real friends are so very hard to find ! I can tell based on the provided information in the extra links , that with Hez Binkowitz, Chris Martin gound not just a good perfumer but a loyal friend.
Considering the review and scent profile I believe Home for the Holidays is the new jewel in the crown of cold weather , leaning gourmand festive perfumery.
I like the fact that Home for the Holidays is not a subtle fragrance—it is bold, confident, and unapologetically recognizable . But beneath its playful exterior lies a thoughtful structure. It plays with texture and memory, tapping into both nostalgia , friendship and sensuality. This is a perfume for those who want their scent to tell a story – one of warmth, passion, and cherished moments with friends and love ones.
Statik Olfactive is a brand i don’t know yet but love to try.
Admirations for your blog, and work on Home for the Holidays EU

    EU , Thanks in advance
The first rains have arrived , some leaves are starting to yellow, and suddenly we feel like binge-watching all those 90s TV series like Friends which always seem to live in autumn, with a cozy blanket and bowl of gingerbread and cinnamon cookies, caramelized deserts , and a cup of coffee , Irish cream liquor… or maybe both?
Winter weather isn’t fully here yet, but some fragrances already capture that cozy, slightly nostalgic vibe. Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays perfectly captures the transition from the last autumn days to the first hints of the winter . Imagined myself in the countryside in an old farm house at sunset, with the sweet smell of freshly baked apples and gingerbread cookies. Watching Friends while the world outside turns white with snow falling for days . Main gourmand notes of Home for the Holidays are blended well by Hez Binkowitz , on a delicate musky and woody base. Great work

Cafleurebon is the expert in niche fragrances , and since Statik Olfactive and Hez Binkowitz fragrances are available on the blog the excellent quality is guaranteed.
Out of the extra reviews I’m interested in  Scarlett Lady and especially Crème de Menthe Café  i find most attractive.
When it comes to Home for the Holidays , the scent is absolutely unapologetic ode to the person who can distinguish and appreciate high-quality Irish cream, coffee and gingerbread , how I’d describe the fragrance after reading Sandi Lundberg evaluation. Beautiful perfume that celebrates basic desires without any rules or shame , while each note is becomes a little moment  of celebration like Hez Binkowitz said .
Some fragrances do more than smell beautiful – they speak to the heart , and Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays absolutely speaks to me. I’m eager to participate  EU

Such a nice surveying Sandi Lundberg on Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays , I’m keen on her meticulousness .
Jumping in between flavorful , liquor , baked goods and coffee connoisseur type of depictions was a treat i was not expecting . I’m pleased since I have a thing for gingerbread , coffee and caramel,  as well as gourmand fragrances done in an unconventional manner.

The senior editor Sandi Lundberg theme was quite evocative, and in in every sense of the way confirmed my beliefs that I need both love , gingerbread , passion , comfort , coffee , sophisticated fragrances and to stock up wood for the winter so can enjoy the holiday season to the fullest.
To me quality niche perfumery is a must, but I like to know the background of the brand , perfumers and particular fragrances, that’s where Michelyn Camen,Editor-in-Chief and Sandi Lundberg grabbed me with the links to the older themes with reviews of Crème de Menthe, Into the Wild and Scarlett Lady, i read them all one by one.
I haven’t eaten gingerbread for years but if Home for the Holidays reminded Sandi of the treats I’d take delight in testing that theory with buying some later on today, dipped into caramel coffee and enjoying the taste .
I wish American brands like Statik Olfactive were easily available in EU but they’re often so hard to find. Home for the Holidays in particular is a fragrance that speaks in a language of the person who likes to take his time and to enjoy life.

The fact that the senior editor and coffee expert Sandi Lundberg said the fragrance effortlessly transitions like a favorable Hollywood movie , preferably wiry dark-roasted coffee with a bowl of gingerbread into the cup , sounds promising. True friends are never far apart , perfumer like Hez Binkowitz and Chris Martin, Cretive Director and founder of Statik Olfactive.
In the vibrant landscape of 2025 fragrance launches, Home for the Holidays by Statik Olfactive emerges as a compelling olfactory interpretation of the Holidays —pleasing, indulgent, and unashamedly emotional. True to the symbolism of its namesake , this unisex fragrance i believe evokes passion and warmth through a decadent boozy , sweet and woody structure that leans both playful and sophisticated.
From the very first spray, Home for the Holidays announces its character with a burst of jubilant delicious nuances. Comfortable and vivid fragrance with sandalwood and well dosed sweetness.Thank you kindly EU

  • This is a hallmark to punctuate the upcoming holidays. Statik olfactive is a unique nomanclanture with a reassuring resonance. With it’s endless note breakdown I wonder moreso how it was concocted and less how it wears. The mystery is left up to the connoisseur and the creative sphere that this delight delves. Ever so graciously entering the drawing, from USA.

Wow, what a wonderful review ! It truly transported me to a cozy Parisian café where everything is made by hand . Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays sounds absolutely wonderful and luxurious— that mix of Irish cream, dark coffee and baked apples is just raw comfort in a bottle. I’ve always been a fan of independent indie perfumery since they often think outside of the box, and it seems like Home for the Holidays carries that same emotional core so lyrical and complex. I can’t wait to try it, especially in those days when I’d like to have coffee and Irish cream surrounding me.

Such a lovely way to celebrate Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays Crème de Menthe Café , Into the Wild and Scarlett Lady .
I found Sandi Lundberg introduction to Home for the Holidays intriguing, highlighting the originality of the composition and how realistic it is. The scent profile is blend of appreciation for organic coffee , home baked apples and gingerbread, sandalwood and a cup of milk, everything smoothen up to perfection by Hez Binkowitz in a relaxing and not sugar-bomb gimmicky way.
Hez Binkowitz and Statik Olfactive seems to have a lot of variety in what they offer , Home for the Holidays a nice way to start exploring.
    Greetings and thanks , EU

  • Just by reading the article I visualized the exact same moment when Sandi Lundberg sprayed Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays on skin for the first time , I can almost see the delightfulness in her eyes.
Personally I’ve never smelled coffee fragrance with steamed milk, smoke , caramel and sandalwood , kudos to Hez Binkowitz for the idea. What differentiates him from a lot of other even more accomplished perfumers is that he’s focusing on the whole package, and not just on one or two aspects as well as having an inner desire for originality.
I like all kinds of gourmands , but especially the more discreet and not overly sugary ones that smell like delicious and comforting , I’m so excited about Home for the Holidays
I also like how Sandi included extra information about the different emotional nuances of the fragrance. EU
