Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire (Hez Binkowitz) 2026 + Own the Night Giveaway

cherry noire by Statik Olfactive

Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire via the brand

Statik Olfactive recently released their ninth perfume, Cherry Noire, the third composed by Hez Binkowitz, who does gourmand fragrances with a style all his own, (which I love, by the way).

I would like to start with a few things about the brand. Founder and Creative Director Chris Martin didn’t stumble into fragrance long before creating Statik Olfactive; already known in the fragrance world as the guy who didn’t just collect scents, he studied them, allowing them to shape the way he experienced the world. Statik Olfactive is a brand built on respect for the artist behind the bottle. A home for indie and artisanal perfumers who treat scent like a canvas. They are given freedom, time, and trust to create something that feels personal. Chris believes the world should know who crafted the scent that moved them. I honor Chris’s vision and direction in creating Statik Olfactive, as well as the perfumers behind each fragrance.

I wanted this to be a statement piece that’s truly unisex for a night out, and one that commands attention. Something that lets people know you are here, but is also deeply sensual and seductive, drawing people in and keeping them there. Something that you can own the night with. Few fruits truly conjure up images of passion, eroticism, and seduction like Cherry. The inspiration for this scent is rather quite simple and brief. We wanted something that spoke to a sexy night out. Something to turn heads. Something that draws you closer. Something enticing, far as it is close. It had to be narcotic, intoxicating, AND sultry. And I think no one could have done it better than Hez Binkowitz.” Chris Martin, Owner and founder

Certain scents don’t just sit on the skin; wearing them can alter the evening. Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire is one of those, a decision made deliberately, with mystery and sensuality. Nothing about it is polite. Nothing about it is safe. It’s a black cherry perfume with depth, metaphorically the kind that stains lips and fingers and makes someone stare a little too long. A hint of neroli threads through, honing the edges, subtle and deliberate.

Cherry Noire shifts with intention; a slow swirl of what must be a Hors d`age Cognac adds warmth and sophistication without being aloof. The notes of cherry and cognac mesh together two distinct personalities negotiating the evening: one dark, one composed, both aware of their effect. As I wear it, I find it creates a space where I want to be deliberate. It’s rare for a scent to influence behavior rather than mood, but Cherry Noire has that kind of impressive authority.

Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire

Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire deepens into something textured and evocative. The specific Thai oud used is highly prized, not overly smoky or aggressive, but with an esoteric sultriness. A steady resonant hum that feels like nothing I have experienced before, but something I have yearned for. By the time it fully develops, Cherry Noire is not just something on my skin, clinging like a secret I would ruin my reputation to keep. It lingers in the air and in the memory of the evening. It’s not innocent. It’s a unisex extrait and in a world full of fragrances trying to shout their way into relevance, it feels like the truest form of luxury, and once you inhabit it, the night behaves differently.

Notes: black cherry, Persian saffron, neroli, jasmine, spun sugar, cognac, cedarwood, Thai oud, oakmoss, vanilla.

* 30% Parfum concentration

  • My interest was sparked reading, “It’s rare for a scent to influence behavior rather than mood, but Cherry Noire has that kind of impressive authority”. US

  • Cherry certainly accord that stands out as an evening aroma for me as well. Of course, there are the candied varieties that are all too familiar in the designer realm, and there are the truly deep and sulty ones that are more rare. This one sounds like the latter. Especially since Sandi mentioned that nothing about it is safe! An intriguing statement if there ever was one. For me however, it’s Hez’s addition of Thai oud that sparked my interest. In fact, I’m not sure I’ve ever sampled a truly good cherry-oud in the last decade. Fortunately, being a fan of Hez’s High Tea that he did for Tempus Vitae, I’d be curious to experience his take on a darker gourmand. Doesn’t hurt that cherries are my favourite food either! Hoping this one’s great. MI, USA

Cherry and Thai oud? Sign me up! Sandi’s review really gives me hope of a good cherry accord which is a true rarity. I’m in Texas USA

Wow! Cherry Noire sounds like a phenomenal gourmand fragrance!! I love cherry fragrances, but in this one the idea of dark cherries melting into a blend full of mystery and sensuality sounds captivating. I really like that there is a neroli note, to soften the edges of cherries and at the same time the cognac note adds warmth and depth, an interesting interplay of these two notes creating pure seduction. What I find more interesting is the Thai oud that gives texture to this cherry, making it to have an esoteric sultriness. I am very intrigued to try this one cause i love the notes and I am sure its a divine boozy scent that will make people curious when you walk by. Rich and decadent.
I’d love to be able to try this thanks to this wonderful giveaway.

  • This sounds unique and alluring. I love that the perfumer was intentional with the notes he chose – from Thai oud to saffron to support the cherry. I also like that the brand supports the perfumers by showing who is behind the bottle. I live in Colorado USA

This review paints Cherry Noire as something dark, velvety, and beautifully atmospheric. It reflects the sultry vixen that I am in my head ;-D

  • Cherry Noire is another gem from the Hez Binkowitz reservoir of unique gourmands. Inspired by a “sexy night out on town,” Cherry Noir owns the night; a unisex scent that demands attention from all that partake of its scent trail. This scent announced its presence; One sniff, and your hooked. Standout notes of black cherry, Thai oud, aged cognac, cedarwood and oakmoss combine to create an olfactive profile that is evocative and as it develops on the skin, becomes something deeper, sensual, additive and seductive, something worthy of mastering the night.

I’d be very curious about this fragrance, as there haven’t been any cherry scents that have really impressed me so far. I find the combination of fragrance notes particularly interesting. I’ve never seen anything like it before…

  • I decided to share my takeaway about Sandi Lundberg tempting ambery gourmand take on Cherry Noire first , since it’s important to me

“Something that lets people know you are here, but is also deeply sensual and seductive, drawing people in and keeping them there. ”

It’s interesting that I developed my affinity for such moments in my 30s first, I cherish them a lot more now.
I’m currently preparing for my 11th for the year craft exhibition in Madrid Spain , and as artisan myself, I’m a leather arts craft woman i can’t even describe how overjoyed , with the help of Nicoleta Tomsa and once again Sandi Lundberg older articles I felt today , after reading about Chris Martin and Hez Binkowitz life cycles. Crafting always brings joy to the artist no questions asked. We share a lot of common objectives and principles, Chris Martin , Hez Binkowitz and I.
Of course other the latest and the previous articles i also enjoyed Sandi Lundberg experiences with Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire, a bit dark gourmand directly influenced by eroticism and passionate nature of the fruit .
Not just the great smelling aroma with cognac , smoke and vanilla , there’s also Thai oud , cedar and different temptations , it’s almost like Cherry Noire is part of a passionate story.
    Much appreciated, EU

  • Happy_Coco says:

The magnitude of Statik Olfactive, Chris Martin and Hez Binkowitz potential is massive , It’s also remarkable that he found the work-life balance. Working with self-taught artisanal perfumers is the solution for originality, Chris path is based on ambition , creative approach , love for perfumes and good energy.
Like everything in real life some components of Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire are gentle like the neroli , some delicious like the spun sugar , dark cherries and vanilla on top of some double shot of cognac and quality Thai oud . The balance between smooth and sharp , delicious and bold is what I’m looking for the most. Even Sandi Lundberg is as thrilled as she’s ever been thinking about the daring fruity and boozy resinous transparency, whispers of cognac , sweetness and darker and woody rhythm that Hez Binkowitz created.
    From EU. Many thanks

  • Max Corvinus says:

I always wanted a dark cherry scent. I tried several of them, but they mostly lean feminine in my opinion. Cherry Noir seems to inhabit that dark domain of perfumery I gravitate toward, but in a direction of the darker fruity perfumes. A beautifully written review, by the way.

  • Ducati.Paniagale.V4.S says:

In my steadily growing fragrance collection there are no American indie artistic fragrances and I’m very much looking forward of trying Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire
Even though Sandi Lundberg spoke of all the different gourmand aspects of the fragrance like the brown sugar and vanilla , the smoke, cognac and Thai oud with no sugar-bomb gimmicks and Chris Martin own words made the difference for me.
I love clubbing and Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire is just perfect for the times i’m going to more high end parties , such a great aroma , like a beautiful and passionate song.
    EU Thank you

  • The Thai oud’s “esoteric sultriness” and resonant hum in the drydown, fused with staining black cherry and cognac warmth, sounds intoxicatingly commanding-not polite, but a secret that alters the whole night. That’s the spark for me. I live in Poland, EU.

  • Tivoli_Bam says:

I’m very picky about brands and fragrances I’m wearing, especially gourmands with fruity-boozy base and Hez Binkowitz fragrances and in particular Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire is on my radar now after all the praises from Sandi Lundberg and Instagram . Sure I’d love to try all Home for the Holidays, Seductive Nectar, Crème de Menthe Café, Scarlett Lady, Into the Wild as well as Jackson Square, Bourbon Street, Plum Conficrure and Banana Banshee i know of thanks to previous reads , and now thanks to Sandi Lundberg i’m aware Hez Binkowitz just created another gem called Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire.
I was not expecting he’d create a dense gourmand with rich black cherries , boozy cognac warmth, Thai oud and spun sugar, seductive but not overpowering creation . Cherry Noire is a high-end contemporary gourmand, and I’m particularly interested in the alluring aura of the fragrance .
    Thanks a bunch

Statik Olfactive doesn’t just make fragrances, they give perfumers space to create something with identity, and you can feel that in this review. It reads like a scent with purpose, not just another release.
Cherry always pulls me in, especially knowing how much I love Chris Collins cherry compositions. Here, the cherry feels darker, more mature, less playful and more seductive. The cognac note is what really seals it for me. That smooth, boozy warmth adds control and sophistication, balancing the sweetness perfectly.
This feels like a cherry done right. Not loud, not juvenile, but confident, sensual, and built for the night. I live in New Jersey, USA.

  • Ensorceler says:

Sandi’s review paints such a vivid, seductive picture. The part that really sparks my interest is how Cherry Noire seems to blur the line between behavior and mood. The idea of a scent that doesn’t just enhance confidence but changes the way you inhabit the night feels magnetic. I’m drawn to how the darkness of cherry and the warmth of cognac seem to negotiate between temptation and restraint, with Thai oud grounding it all in something quietly powerful. It reads like a fragrance that doesn’t shout for attention but commands it through presence. It feels like a scent that might turn an ordinary evening into something cinematic, deliberate, and unforgettable.

Interested ever since I smelled fragrances from this house like Home for The Holidays and Creme De Menthe, then seeing a take on cherry + oud from the same house? Definitely want to add it to my collection. I’m in Miami, FL.

  • Captivating reads , no mistake I even read Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire article twice in a row , no joke. Seductive Nectar, Into the Wild , Scarlett Lady , Crème de Menthe Café reviews and Michelyn Camen and Sandi Lundberg Top Ten of 2025 lists were all quite interesting as well.
I can’t help but to be impressed how Chris Martin and Hez Binkowitz are able to leave a mark on the fragrance market in early Q2 of 2026 where competition is fearsome to say the least.
I’m exposed to niche perfumery but not yet to Statik Olfactive , and i can’t help but to be impressed how Chris Martin gave Hez Binkowitz a platform to create another very special gourmand fragrance , this time with black cherries, cognac treats , saffron , cedar and alluring depth.
Other than wanting to win the contemporary high-end Statik Olfactive fragrance called Cherry Noire , I’d also love to visit Hez Binkowitz lab , sounds like fun
EU , thank you very much

  • Cherry and cognac piqued my interest immediately, but then I saw there’s saffron, jasmine, ouf, and oakmoss, and it sounds so intriguing. Che=it’s can be hit or miss, but I can’t imagine this combo being a miss. I’m writing from the US

  • I believe it’s easy to say Sandi Lundberg loves exploring Statik Olfactive fragrances more than usual.
The idea of adding juicy dark cherries, Hors d’Age cognac , smoke and resins to oud from Thailand , and then again resinous base , only comes to show the creative part of Chris Martin and Hez Binkowitz characters.
Powerful and novelty fragrance with lots of twists, definitely not innocent according to Sandi Lundberg, such a beautiful creation, no wonder she thinks Cherry Noire is smooth , seductive and complex.

  • Ramses Perez says:

Cherry is indeed a seductive fruit and I’m glad Statik Olfactive decided to showcase their way of doing Cherry. Hez is indeed a great perfumer and he does have a way of doing gourmands. Taking into account the brief from Chris, he picked a cherry note that goes into the sultry and sexy territory. With notes such as spun sugar, cognac and vanilla also in the mix, you start to notice just how sexy Cherry Noire can be. A night out smelling like a cherry liquor while out and about in the town: an olfactive dream that makes you feel ecstatic. I’m located in the USA.

  • Great reading and review from Sandi as always. The notes sounds amazingly good and Chris Martin’s words got all my attention “It had to be narcotic, intoxicating, and sultry”. I would really love to try this one, thank you for the chance, i’m from the EU.

  • Sandi’s review of Cherry Noire immediately had me at “certain scents don’t just sit on the skin; wearing them can alter the evening.” That’s exactly the kind of fragrance I’ve been searching for something that doesn’t just smell good but changes how you move through the world. What sparks my interest most is her observation that Cherry Noire “creates a space where I want to be deliberate. It’s rare for a scent to influence behavior rather than mood, but Cherry Noire has that kind of impressive authority.” The combination of black cherry and cognac, with that “Hors d’age Cognac” adding warmth and sophistication without being aloof, sounds like a fragrance that understands the art of seduction is about confidence, not noise. And the Thai oud, described as “highly prized, not overly smoky or aggressive, but with an esoteric sultriness” that feels like “nothing I have experienced before, but something I have yearned for” that’s a promise I want to test on my own skin. My favourite Statik Olfactive fragrance so far is Scarlett Lady, which I fell in love with for its wild, desert rose elegance. I am a registered reader in Germany

  • AromaAdventurer says:

I’ve been chasing the perfect black cherry fragrance for years something that captures the fruit’s dark, seductive side without tipping into cough syrup territory. Sandi’s review of Cherry Noire gives me hope that I’ve finally found it. Her description of it as “a black cherry perfume with depth, metaphorically the kind that stains lips and fingers and makes someone stare a little too long” is exactly what I want. Not a sweet, innocent cherry, but something “deliberate” and “unapologetic.” The way she describes the evolution—the cherry and cognac “meshing together, two distinct personalities negotiating the evening: one dark, one composed, both aware of their effect”—suggests a fragrance with real narrative depth. And that Thai oud, with its “esoteric sultriness” and “steady resonant hum,” sounds like the perfect dark anchor for the fruit. Chris Martin’s vision for this scent something that lets people know you are here, but is also deeply sensual and seductive, drawing people in and keeping them there” is exactly what I want to project when I walk into a room. EU

  • What sparks my interest most is the philosophy behind Statik Olfactive itself a brand built on “respect for the artist behind the bottle,” giving indie perfumers “freedom, time, and trust to create something that feels personal.” That ethos shines through in every release, and Sandi’s review of Cherry Noire proves it’s alive and well. Hez Binkowitz, who also created the wonderful Scarlett Lady and 504 Extrait, clearly understands how to craft a gourmand with sophistication and depth. Sandi’s description of the fragrance “deepening into something textured and evocative” with a Thai oud that’s “not overly smoky or aggressive, but with an esoteric sultriness” sounds like a composition that rewards patience and close attention. And her final observation “once you inhabit it, the night behaves differently” is the highest compliment a fragrance can receive. My favourite Statik Olfactive fragrance is Scarlett Lady, that gorgeous, cinematic rose with its pillowy marshmallow heart and desert sage drydown.

  • FragranceFrenzyS says:

Sandi’s review of Cherry Noire speaks directly to my love of gourmands that aren’t afraid to be dark and grown-up. The combination of black cherry, Persian saffron, cognac, Thai oud, and oakmoss promises a fragrance that’s far from the “spun sugar” sweetness listed in the notes though that spun sugar is there, it’s clearly just one element in a much more complex composition. What appeals to me most is the texture Sandi describes: the cherry and cognac “meshing together” with the oud providing a “steady resonant hum,” the fragrance “lingering in the air and in the memory of the evening.” That idea of a scent that becomes part of the memory of a night out, not just something you wore, is exactly what I want from a signature fragrance. Chris Martin’s brief for Hez Binkowitz “something to turn heads, something that draws you closer, something enticing, far as it is close” captures that tension between confidence and intimacy perfectly. My favourite Statik Olfactive fragrance is The Forbidden Temple, that stunning jasmine tea and incense composition that J reviewed so beautifully. EU

  • I love a good cherry fragrance. I’m drawn to the notes of black cherry, cognac, Thai oud and oakmoss. Sounds very unisexy to me. Thanks for the opportunity to sniff. MI USA

I mean, anytime Hez and Chris get together they create some amazing fragrances. I like the idea of a cherry and oud fragrance, with some neroli to hit the uppers. Interested in how Persian saffron smells like and if I would be able to identify it. Sandi describes it as sultry, which I do love a good deep slightly dark sultry tone. TX, USA.

  • Hez really knows his way around a slightly gourmand, sexy composition, and Cherry Noire is surely no different. I love having a fragrance that makes me want to have a nice night out, because normally I’d rather stay in. Cherry, saffron, cognac and oud alone sound magical but the inclusion of white florals really intrigues me. Would love to give this a try!

Sandi Lundberg revealed a lot , from the instant warmth of the opening , to Thai oud , to the exceptional Hors d’Age cognac , and last but not least how Cherry Noire is also wrapped in mystery and sensuality , Hez Binkowitz made the new Statik Olfactive fragrance so addictive and rich , not an easy task I believe.

    Hello Cafleurebon
Sandi Lundberg has always been respectful and modest , looking to ignite the interest of fragrance enthusiasts on Cafleurebon with exquisite articles.
It’s almost like she’s soulfully involved, and exited for Cherry Noire and Statik Olfactive , that’s a statement on its own ! If she believes the scent influences behavior rather than mood the fragrance should be outstanding. I believe the smoke, cedar , the resinous drydown , juicy dark cherries and the premium cognac are making Cherry Noire so addictive and unapologetic , i can’t even imagine how good it really is , dopamine rush i can already feel.
Hez Binkowitz did set the bar quite high for all soon to be released gourmands.
I’m based in EU , thanks

  • Fragrance house owners don’t often respect the perfumers (Darren Allan, Lucky Armstrong, etc.) who commission their creations, but Mr. Martin has done so since he founded Statik Collective, thus offering deeply personal fragrances. Mr. Binkowitz has already given us gems like Crème de Menthe Café and Home for the Holidays. Cherry is tricky; I don’t usually like fragrances with that dominant note, but here, through a lens of passion, eroticism, and seduction, it speaks to us in a sensual and mysterious way, more nocturnal than diurnal. The fruit blends with the warm and sophisticated cognac to give way to a sultry oud, not aggressive, but resonant: a lingering scent from evening until dawn. I live in Spain, EU.

  • quietaccord says:

Cherry Noire sounds gorgeous—the idea of a darker, more textured cherry feels so much more compelling than the usual sweetness. I’m always drawn to fragrances that feel like a mood, especially something that captures that ‘own the night’ feeling. Based in the US.

  • Pretty nice lineup of notes and with the 30% oils, it looks quite appealing! Liked the description that is “deeply sensual and seductive, drawing people in and keeping them there.” Would like to try this one on my skin.

What else to ask? Made by Hez Binkowitz exotic spicy and woody gourmand fruity cocktail with succulent cherries, cedar , spun sugar, cognac all clashing with the Thai oud in a velvety powdery cloud, a brilliant idea to counter the gourmand facets.
I like the classical style of the bottle , the golden top and I’m excited for Statik Olfactive and Hez Binkowitz in general.
I absolutely love the specific festive yet seductive qualities of Cherry Noire, and i find interesting the whole dark yet cozy delicious atmosphere. Immersive multi-sensorial experience i believe.
Thanks for the opportunity to win such a novelty fragrance like Cherry Noire , and also thanks to Sandi Lundberg for the review.

I have searched high and low for a cherry fragrance that isn’t chemical, syrupy or just completely off-putting. This sounds like what I’ve been looking for! With the added spun sugar aspect – heavenly!

  • What sparked my interest most is Sandi’s observation that Cherry Noire influences behavior rather than just mood — that’s an unusually high bar to clear, and it’s the kind of claim that makes me want to test it myself. The interplay between black cherry and Hors d’Age cognac sounds like a fascinating tension: fruit that’s dark and unapologetic, meeting warmth that knows exactly how composed it is. And the Thai oud as a quiet, resonant anchor rather than a smoky statement is exactly the kind of restraint I look for in a drydown. Hez Binkowitz’s gourmand work has always had that quality — richness without excess. Cherry Noire sounds like no exception.

    Hi there,

I’m very curious about Statik as a brand, and am so pleased they were lauded in 2025. This fragrance seems to call out to me; sounds like truly a scent where the fruit at the forefront is made less traditionally fruity, and more sensual and complicated. We’ve really moved away, I think, from “evening” scents, and I think this is a good genre to explore both from the creative side, and from the consumer side. Thank you for telling this story!

I like the more thoughtful overall experience I just had. I learned about Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire distinct and complex scent , starting with succulent dark cherries, expensive cognac , leather , and going forward with enticing aromas like amber , Thai oud and cedar .
[The specific Thai oud used is highly prized , not overly smoky or aggressive, but with esoteric sultriness]
I’m all for being involved in this
My personal final flourish is the harmony Hez Binkowitz was able to achieve between between tasty , dark and seductive elements.

  • I read a couple of Statik Olfactive, and Hez Binkowitz, even went to Hez Parfums articles and I had no other option but to go to the previous essays like Michelyn Camen suggested to get me up to speed with the path they follow , and and I’m glad I did… good and creative people with a vision for the future.
Not yet familiar with Hez Binkowitz work but dreaming big is a must for every self driven person, perfumer and brand owner like him or a barber like me . The based on creativity approach i like a lot, no doubt great things are in the store for him and his friend Chris Martin, the founder and creative director of Statik Olfactive.

I’m quite selective in terms of oud , fruits and gourmand fragrances , and especially all that combine the 3 genres.
Sandi Lundberg assessment of Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays brought not just her , but me back to my childhood when grandma used to bake different sweet cherry treats with caramelized / spun sugar, and grandpa was always into aged cognac , great times I miss a lot.
I became instantly attracted to the comforting gourmand smell of Cherry Noire together with carefully selected by Hez Binkowitz other deeper and darker shades like the saffron , smoke , Thai oud and cognac . I really like the dance between delicious and daring.

I was drawn in by the description of the effect the scent has, swaying the behaviour rather than the mood. Honestly, the reviews make it sound like a total powerhouse. What really caught my eye is that it isn’t just another sweet, “bakery” cherry scent. It’s got this darker, masculine edge with the cognac and Thai oud that makes it feel way more sophisticated and “night out” ready.
I’m also intrigued by the perfumer’s vibe—he describes it as a “statement piece” designed to give you a sense of authority and confidence rather than just smelling nice. It sounds like a bold, complex fragrance that actually has some backbone to it.

  • what sparked my interest about sandi’s review is how seductive & intimate she made this fragrance feel. she mentions how this fragrance is for an unforgettable night out- nothing about it polite. nothing about it is safe. it sounds dangerous in the best way. & how sandi says- it’s not just something clinging to my skin, like a secret i would ruin my reputation to keep. all of this makes me feel like i have to try this fragrance for a night out, just once, to be able to feel this sort of depth & seductiveness! i can’t imagine what might happen on a night like that. the notes of this sound gorgeous- a boozy green, floral, woody cherry. a deep cherry. one with serious depth & a secret story to tell. definitely a sexy one. thank you for the review & contribution! i am in colorado, the united states.

The right way to start with Hez Binkowitz and Chris Martin life stories from the older reads , and then go to the present time with Sandi Lundberg review of Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire.
Apparently Hez Binkowitz was a bright mind at young age with interest in perfumes , art and creativity , soaking all kinds of inspirations from his home town of New Orleans. For a small indie brand owner and perfumer he likes triggering past and forging future artistic memories with all his creations . I can tell in Chris Martin and Statik Olfactive he found kindred spirits.
Cherry Noire is an elegant gourmand , where juicy dark cherries, neroli , spun sugar and high-end cognac are easy to detect , on the flip side because of resinous base and Thai oud also possesses bolder personality. Special fragrance i’d cherish if I win.

Coming from someone who’s rather recently started delving into niche perfumery thanks to Cafleurebon , i have to say the style of reviews here is on a different level
Hez Binkowitz , Chris Martin and Sandi Lundberg were able to trick my imagination into thinking of Hors d’Age cognac , juicy cherries and handmade saffron treats where the sweetness and boldness are perfectly dosed and compounded to alluring amber and Thai oud.
“The notes of cherry and cognac mesh together two distinct personalities negotiating the evening: one dark, one composed, both aware of their effect”
By all means YES to what Sandi Lundberg stated about Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire , eye-opening and zealous review and one spectacular fragrance.
Warm thanks to Sandi Lundberg, Hez Binkowitz, Chris Martin ,Cafleurebon and Statik Olfactive . EU

  • Cherry accords can be difficult, but cognac is one of my absolute favorite notes—second only to oud so I’d love to try this!

Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire is trend setting fragrance with a lot of contrasts, from dark sweet cherries, to saffron, woody , delicious and resinous depth .
Sandi Lundberg, Chris Martin and Hez Binkowitz share affection for art and craftsmanship , one of the reasons Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire worked like a charm for her .
Sandi work with the latest Statik Olfactive release is like invading the senses poetic invitation. Clinging like a secret memories , delicious black cherries , aged cognac , delicious and powdery woody haze . Cherry Noire is piece of art elegant fragrance

It’s interesting how Sandi Lundberg essay and her approach invoked the best of Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire different aspects , and I’m loving it.
There are nods to hospitality , desire , coziness , Thai oud , premium cognac and musk yet Hez Binkowitz also added beautiful contemporary spin.
I love Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire smoothness and richness. Thanks to Sandi Lundberg feel scented now with one sweet and sensual fragrance , and I need a glass of cognac and bowl of dark cherries as well. Many thanks for the chance

  • I’m deeply drawn to the balance between cherry, cognac, and oud as Sandi describes it, creating a contrast between sweetness, sultriness, and depth. Cherry Noire sounds especially compelling, being magnetic and downright sexy on one side, and authoritative and composed, on the other. I love those creations that don’t only play “one card”.
    Greetings from the EU.

  • hide_and_seek says:

Cherry Noire from Statik Olfactive sounds great, I’m fascinated by the love affair between the delicious but not syrupy sweet black cherries and spun sugar from one angle, and the more daring and dark aged cognac, saffron and Thai oud and amber on another . Sandi Lundberg pointed out that the fragrance smells quite realistic and the scent influences behavior rather than mood , there’s a theory that opposites attract and Hez Binkowitz work is the evidence.
The intricate layering of palatable and edgy , maybe even playful notes , plus the beautiful melody with jazz rhythm…. at least in my mind in front of the fireplace – imo the mysterious and sensual narrative do make Cherry Noire enchanting and multifaceted.
    Thanks a lot EU

  • PurpleFox33 says:

The words used by Sandi Lundberg are truly evocative, capturing the essence of memories that many of us can relate to . I’m talking about those simple yet profound moments of passion and romance that linger around longer than any fragrance.
Sandi Lundberg framing of Hez Binkowitz made Statik Olfactive Home for the Holidays as “Cherry Noire shifts with intention; a slow swirl of what must be a Hors d`age Cognac adds warmth and sophistication without being aloof. The notes of cherry and cognac mesh together two distinct personalities negotiating the evening: one dark, one composed, both aware of their effect. As I wear it, I find it creates a space where I want to be deliberate.” i imagine is rooted in specific nostalgic yet hedonistic and decadent memories she had with the help of the fragrance.
All beautifully aligns with the emotional spectrum of Cherry Noire, and succulent black cherries, cognac , Thai oud and cedar scent profile.EU

O my goodness this sounds so good! I’ve read a few reviews of Statik Olfactive here and all of them sound so unique.
What I like about Sandi’s description of cherry noire is the black cherry and cognac combo with a beautiful Thai Oud in the base. This is sultry and sexy and I’m here for it. Marit EU

  • Statik has worked with Hez a few times now, so his style must be a good match for Chris’s concepts. Big cherry fragrances is still en vogue, and the cognac note is an easy match, but the Thai out used here is an interesting point of distinction that keeps Cherry Noire from being saccharine. This is a cool addition to the Statik Olfactive lineup.

Cafleurebon is on a roll lately, one great review after another
I’m aware of Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire now , thanks to the blog and Sandi Lundberg I’m also enthusiastic about all Hez Binkowitz fragrances as well.
Passion for luscious cherries , Hors d’Age cognac, Thai oud and sophisticated fragrances is mutual , moreover I find Cherry Noire super attractive.
I’ve always been favorable to cherries , saffron and cognac , although never experienced a cherry fragrance that can influence behaviors, Hez Binkowitz gave Cherry Noir a beautiful mysterious and sensual spin , nice work .
Reading up on Hez Binkowitz and Chris Martin backgrounds from the recommended reviews was satisfying , drawing inspirations from different aspects of life , both willing to take ambitious projects and how they feels fulfilled by their work

I like how Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire glows with the brightness of the future. Hez Binkowitz made fragrance is letting its Hors d’Age cognac , spiced saffron and spun sugar fun side shine bright with different seductive facets that thicken up the feeling of esoteric experience coming from the Thai oud. The smoke and saffron are adding some unique undertones to this elegance. Cherry Noire warms your skin in a narcotic way, channeling both mystery and sensuality in a bottle, love the fragrance Hez Binkowitz created! EU

  • My kind of Mochino, not quite, but black and less of a tartish endeavor. Sounds enduring and persistent with a special presence. The breakdown is somewhat tricky but seems like a fly on the wall. Dense but wafting it’s wings although it’s for a drinking atmosphere. Thai oud, oakmoss, and vanilla are solid picks but the top and mid sound boozy and bright. The concentration and packaging are major perks and this would definitely go over great with true connoisseurs and real enthusiest. From USA.

  • white.beard.Santa says:

From the very first moment Cherry Noire from Statik Olfactive draws you in with a bowl of black sweet cherries, warmth , luxurious cognac and saffron . I imagined exquisite and playful feel , almost like the beginning of a passionate love story. But there’s more beneath the surface. As it develops, rich notes of Thai oud unfold even more and together with the amber offering both comfort and seduction. The base lingers with the elegance and the sensual closeness , warm, lasting, unforgettable fragrance.
Created by perfumer Hez Binkowitz , Cherry Noire is a gourmand fragrance with depth. It’s sweet without being simple, romantic without being naive. It captures the intimacy of a moment with a glass of cognac in your hands garnished with a few black cherries.

  • Hez Binkowitz is a guy with an intricate character . Quite an extensive journey , from his state of felicity at NOLA creating fragrances for Hez Parfums and Statik Olfactive.
I’m keen on the whole Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire package and Sandi Lundberg description in a way related to Hors d’Age cognac, sweet cherries , spun sugar , good mood and the sexy night out spirit.
Other than the that there’s Thai oud , delicious ambery sensuality , feel of smooth happiness , and depending on Sandi Lundberg ecstatic experience with the fragrance I’m aware Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire is a very special delicious fragrance with lots of depth, and unique seductive character based on multiple not so innocent nuances.

  • Thanks to Sandi Lundberg review i started thinking about cabin in the woods , getting up early in the morning to start the fireplace , still windy and rather cold watching the horizon. Then a glass of cognac follows with a slice of spun sugar cherry pie
I’m now curious about Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire and the way it evolves. The contrast between the fruits , cedar , spices and boozy wink , day and night, the profound sense of resinous and amber woody base is to die for.
I love Hez Binkowitz and Chris Martin idea of focusing on the notes almost like they were telling a passionate story

  • N1.wedding.advisor says:

I like the way Sandi Lundberg shared the way she perceives perceive Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire focusing on the stories behind the fragrance , how the aroma amells and makes her feel, who the perfumer is. Sharing Chris Martin thoughts of the fragrance and a couple of extra links was helpful since I’m not familiar with him and Statik Olfactive as well.
The scent profile made me think of a wedding that I organized last week where the couple wanted a chocolate wedding cake with black cherries, saffron and spun sugar , and aged cognac too . Strange request for a wedding setup , but the pastry chef I’m working with did some splendid work.
Cherry Noire to me is the happy medium between premium quality ingredients and the wedding cake i just described , a glass of aged cognac , pinch of saffron and Thai oud , that’s the image currently stuck in my mind . I’d love to discover the latest Statik Olfactive fragrance glowing in an array of delicious gourmet recipes and seductive touches.

One particular phrase caught my attention from Chris Martin own words of Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire “It had to be narcotic, intoxicating, AND sultry. And I think no one could have done it better than Hez Binkowitz”
That’s really intriguing as I have become more attracted to such fragrances myself as I’ve progressed in my fragrance journey. Sandi Lundberg absolutely delivered with her comprehensive review and painted a really excellent picture of this offering. I’m found of the delicious dark cherries , with spun sugar, the Thai oud thread and Hors d’Age cognac, Cherry Noire thrills me very much. Appreciate the chance EU

  • Healthy_Lifestyle says:

There’s a saying that good ideas start with brainstorming, but great ideas start with coffee … or maybe both coffee and aged high-end cognac. I have a feeling for all those years Hez Binkowitz had hundreds of such brainstorming moments, and thousands cups of coffee in between , but maybe when creating Cherry Noire he added a few bottles of Hors d’Age? 🙂
I wonder how he , or Chris Martin came up with the idea of mixing juicy cherries , cognac, saffron, smoke and Thai oud?!?
My takeaway about Sandi Lundberg article is the overall sense of good spirits with delicious treats and cognac heritage , plus the novelty approach blended together to perfection.
It appeals to me that Hez Binkowitz infused into Cherry Noire his own love for cherries , Thai oud and cognac. As a result of his work I’d like to know how the luxury not overly sweet treat called Cherry Noire smells. In light of Sandi Lundberg review I have no doubt the fragrance is stunning.

It’s amazing how Chris Martin, founder and creative director of Statik Olfactive and the perfumer Hez Binkowitz worked towards turning their succulent dark cherries , Thai oud and expensive cognac seductive dreams into reality .
Sandi Lundberg took her time to talk about the ingredients , the whole creative process , the chemical, nostalgic and poetic anatomy , as well as her joyous memories, and not just how the fragrance smells.
I’ve experienced a lot of cherry , boozy and woody fragrances , but nothing like Cherry Noire with the influence of cedar, neroli , some poetic realities and boozy references. Thanks to Sandi Lundberg , and to Statik Olfactive and Chris Martin for generously providing Cherry Noire to one lucky reader.EU

As usual there’s no basic information with Cafleurebon and Sandi Lundberg , her review is multidimensional as well .

Yes I read all of the older Static Olfactive articles , Michelyn Camen and Sandi Lundberg best of 2025 , even went to older Hez Binkowitz articles and I’m impressed not only with his work in perfumery , but all the craft involved in his activities, how happy she is in New Orleans and how the fragrances he creates do represent the city in variety of ways.
I know niche fragrances and with the brutal competitiveness on the market i need something big to really grab my attention, and Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire high quality raw materials, mouthwatering gourmand connections, saffron and Thai oud aroma melding with the aged cognac and of course the black cherries did the trick for me.
Through Home for the Holidays I can book a flight to Florid (Static Olfactive and Chris Martin) or New Orleans (Hez Binkowitz) and enjoying my time , whiteout actually being there. You can’t beat that

  • “Something that you can own the night with”! I must say that this has to have the WOW factor and I truly trust Chris Martin…

From my point of view, that would be quite a thing, because it means that this fragrance actually has the power to attract everyone’s taste and this can be a very difficult task. Also, Sandi says … “it feels like the truest form of luxury, and once you inhabit it, the night behaves differently” so I am very intrigued about this, So far, my favorite cherry is Cherry Ink, but the rankings might be a little bit shaken by this release, especially because I LOVE a good black cherry.

I live in Europe and thank you.

  • Such a pleasing experience i just had Wow
About today’s read and the older ones , all vivid and full of originality, pride and positive energy. Hez Binkowitz and Chris Martin are not only built differently, happy with modest personality but they also likes to surround themselves with people who have the same or similar values.

Reading the essay made me think of how unique of a comforting gourmand Cherry Noire must be if Sandi Lundberg can barely compare it to anything else.
Keeping in mind the zealous examination of the latest Statik Olfactive i know Hez Binkowitz did a splendid work. • Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire deepens into something textured and evocative. The specific Thai oud used is highly prized, not overly smoky or aggressive, but with an esoteric sultriness
    – Sandi Lundberg

So that’s how a connoisseur sounds when he’s greatly impressed , Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire had such an impact on Sandi she almost went to a gourmand dreamland with beautiful jazz melodies playing and luxurious cognac and dark cherries rhythm .
It has been a pleasure learning about the fragrance being made by by the obviously talented Hez Binkowitz .
Personally I’m glad smaller brands like Hez Parfums and Statik Olfactive are still implementing more classical , and artisanal approaches , instead of futuristic technology. I only wish both brands were easily available in EU….
I’m a fan of beautiful things, opulent aura, passionate fragrances , creativity , and I’ll be happy to win Cherry Noire, with delicious dark cherries , Thai oud caramelized sugar and cognac if highest quality.

  • Summed up by the introduction by Chris Martin and Sandi Lundberg review I’d say Cherry Noire by Statik Olfactive is an unapologetically uplifting fragrance that captures the sweetness, depth, and night time sensuality of 2026 , strive for originality and comfort altogether.
I really like the way Cherry Noire turns warm and sensual with rich swirls of cherry and spun sugar sweetness, the expensive cognac and Thai oud nuances create a creamy, dreamy center. It is both comforting and luxurious, evoking memories of shared sweetness , perhaps a romantic gesture or a date .
As it settles, Cherry Noire deepens into a warm and sensual base of Thai oud , lingering in the air long enough.

Loyal friends are real friends, and real friends are so very hard to find ! I can tell based on the provided information in the extra links , that with Hez Binkowitz, Chris Martin gound not just a good perfumer but a loyal friend.
Considering the review and scent profile I believe Cherry Noire is the new jewel in the crown of fruity , woody and boozy , leaning towards gourmand seductive perfumery.
I like the fact that Cherry Noire is not a subtle fragrance—it is bold, confident, and unapologetically recognizable . But beneath its playful exterior lies a thoughtful structure. It plays with texture and memory, tapping into both nostalgia , eroticism and sensuality. I’m so curious about how Hez Binkowitz blended notes like cognac, oud, cherries, oakmoss and spun sugar, thanks to Sandi Lundberg i know he did wonders.
Cherry Noire is a perfume for those who want their scent to tell a story – one of warmth, passion, and cherished moments with friends and love ones.
Statik Olfactive is a brand i don’t know yet but love to try.

Cafleurebon is the expert in niche fragrances , and since Statik Olfactive and Hez Binkowitz fragrances are available on the blog the excellent quality is guaranteed.
Out of the extra reviews I’m interested in Seductive Nectar, Home for the Holidays and especially Crème de Menthe Café i find most attractive.
When it comes to Cherry Noire, the scent is absolutely unapologetic ode to the person who can distinguish and appreciate high-quality cognac, oud and organic cherries , how I’d describe the fragrance after reading Sandi Lundberg evaluation. Beautiful perfume that celebrates basic desires without any rules or shame , while the aroma turns heads and draws people closer
Some fragrances do more than smell beautiful – they speak to the heart, and Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire absolutely speaks to me. I’m eager to participate EU

Such a nice surveying Sandi Lundberg did on Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire, I’m keen on her meticulousness .
Jumping in between flavorful , spicy , juicy , liquor and sexy night out connoisseur type of depictions was a treat i was not expecting . I’m pleased since I have a thing for oud, black cherries, jasmine , Hors d’Age cognac , as well as gourmand fragrances done in an unconventional manner.

    EU , Thanks in advance
It’s still cold and windy where I live , snow keeps falling every other day and spring weather isn’t coming here yet, but some fragrances already capture that cozy, slightly nostalgic vibe. Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire perfectly captures the transition from the last winter days to the first hints of the spring . Imagined myself in the countryside in an old farm house at sunset, with the sweet smell of freshly baked cherry and cognac cookies. Watching Friends while the world outside still white with snow falling for days . Main gourmand notes of Cherry Noire like spun sugar, cherries and vanilla are blended well by Hez Binkowitz , on a delicate cognac and Thai oud base. Great work

Sandi Lundberg theme was quite evocative, and in in every sense of the way confirmed my beliefs that I need both love , passion , comfort , dark cherries, cognac , sophisticated fragrances and to findi Statik Olfactive sample set .
To me quality niche and indie perfumery is a must, but I like to know the background of the brand , perfumers and particular fragrances, that’s where Michelyn Camen,Editor-in-Chief and Sandi Lundberg grabbed me with the links to the older themes with reviews of Seductive Nectar, Home for the Holidays, Crème de Menthe and Scarlett Lady, i read them all one by one.
I haven’t drink cognac for years but if Cherry Noire reminded Sandi of a treat like Hors d’Age cognac , I’d take delight in testing that theory with buying a bottle later on today, also dip into the full glass some spun sugar cherries i have at home and enjoying the taste .
I wish American brands like Statik Olfactive were easily available in EU but they’re often so hard to find. Cherry Noire in particular is a fragrance that speaks in a language of the person who loves passion, likes to take his time and to enjoy life.
    Warm hugs

The fact that the senior editor , fragrance, liquor and lifestyle expert Sandi Lundberg said the fragrance is one of those rare scents that can influence behavior rather than mood , preferably with cognac , vanilla , a bowl of dark cherries and Thai oud , sounds promising. Very much a decadent and delicious encounter for people who enjoy gourmand, and to draw people closer .EU

Wow, what a wonderful review ! It truly transported me to a cozy Parisian café where everything is made by hand . Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire sounds absolutely wonderful and luxurious— that mix of Thai oud, dark cherries , jasmine and cognac is just raw comfort in a bottle. I’ve always been a fan of independent indie perfumery since they often think outside of the box, and it seems like Cherry Noire carries that same emotional core so lyrical and complex. I can’t wait to try it, especially in those days when I’d like to have seductive fruity , woody and boozy aroma surrounding me.

True friends are never far apart , perfumer like Hez Binkowitz and Chris Martin, Cretive Director and founder of Statik Olfactive.
In the vibrant landscape of 2026 fragrance launches, Cherry Noire by Statik Olfactive emerges as a compelling olfactory interpretation of the sexy night out fragrance —pleasing, indulgent, and unashamedly emotional. True to the symbolism of its namesake , this unisex fragrance i believe evokes passion and warmth through a decadent boozy , sweet and woody structure that leans both playful and sophisticated.
From the very first spray, Cherry Noire announces its character with a burst of jubilant delicious nuances. Comfortable and vivid fragrance with well dosed by Hez Binkowitz ingredients .Thank you kindly EU

  • Just by reading the article I visualized the exact same moment when Sandi Lundberg started exploring Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire , I can almost see the delightfulness in her eyes.
Personally I’ve never smelled fruity and boozy fragrance with the esoteric sultriness of the Thai oud, smoke , juicy cherries and cognac , kudos to Hez Binkowitz for the idea. What differentiates him from a lot of other even more accomplished perfumers is that he’s focusing on the whole package, and not just on one or two aspects as well as having an inner desire for originality.
I like all kinds of gourmands , but especially the more discreet and not overly sugary ones that smell like delicious and comforting , I’m so excited about Cherry Noire.
I also like how Sandi included extra information about the different emotional nuances of the fragrance. EU

Judging by the provided links i tend to believe all fragrances in the Statik Olfactive line are fully original , most tends to be on the daring side and I’m loving it. Cherry Noire in my opinion goes all the way gourmand , but gourmand on a different level. Hez Binkowitz really seems to knows how to work with the sweet and bold kind of notes to make a complex and beguiling gourmand. It’s the subtle Thai oud and jasmine touch that makes all the difference. I share Sandi Lundberg sentiment in that this scent makes you feel bold and confident on a night out. Lots of warm notes present to provide some much needed heat. The bottle is also quite the artwork itself reminding you to wear it every chance you get. What a treat! I’m located in the EU.

All fragrances can tell a story, some are passionate, some are sad and other do have a happy ending . I think in Home for the Holidays by the house of Statik Olfactive there’s not sad parts , and everything is leading to good and delicious ,passionate and seductive memories , smiles and a tad boozy wink . Sandi Lundberg review is like photorealistic piece of slowly dipped into cognac sweet cherries , saffron and Thai oud dissolving into the air.
I have a keen interest in Cherry Noire because of Sandi and Chris Martin personalities , and how delicious the fragrance is . I find the blend unique, mouthwatering and sexy. The jasmine and vanilla are more than welcomed too

What I just read was not just a refined and detailed read , but some unique stories with guilty cognac cocktails and night out experiences , mouthwatering cherries and woody pleasures, refined craftsmanship , but Hez Binkowitz and Chris Martin “narcotic , intoxicating and sultry” gourmand ambitions and dreams turned into reality , and I’m loving it.
What I enjoyed overall are the three tones of the “Hez Binkowitz 2026 plus own the night giveaway” , the older reads with Seductive Nectar, Home for the Holidays, Menthe Cafe and Scarlett Lady reviews , Chris Martin ideas behind the fragrance , and Sandi Lundberg introduction to Cherry Noire , all grabbed my attention right away .
I love good and sophisticated strong gourmands like the latest Statik Olfactive , finest quality cognac and fruits , just like I love happy , dedicated and not overly pretentious people like Chris Martin and Hez Binkowitz , the whole experience (of all the articles) was like a medley of creativity . I enjoyed the way the perfumer made one unbelievable aroma in a unique , yet so cozy and daring at the same time way

Thank you for this detailed review of Cherry Noire , as well as for reaching out to Chris Martin , and sharing personal experiences with Statik Olfactive and Hez Binkowitz !
I like how Chris Martin showed appreciation for Hez Binkowitz since not only he was able to turn sensual dark cherry emotions into scent , he made the fragrance narcotic , intoxicating and sultry. Not to mention the two are friends as well , and not just business partners.
Sandi Lundberg showcased the way Hez Binkowitz brought depth and intensity to this fragrance , making it a graceful woody and a tad boozy counterpart to all the simplistic ultra sugary cherry gourmands on the market.
The blend of dark cherries, cognac, amber , cedarwood and Thai oud sounds absolutely captivating—especially the interplay of sweet, woody and boozy. I’d love to experience this deeper emotional and passionate interpretation of a sexy night out fragrance myself.

Thank you Sandi Lundberg for the interesting read about Statik Olfactive new release! I have yet to try Statik or Hez Binkowitz fragrances, but I’m definitely intrigued.
The way you describe the scent of Cherry Noire makes me feel just as uplifted and excited as I do with the other original and sophisticated indie perfumes I own. I value such brands a lot since they truly evoke a sense of joy and originality, blending the artistry of the bottles with the beauty of the perfumes themselves. Through your review, you really helped me vividly imagine the experience of a boozy and fruity perfume I haven’t yet smelled. I have yet to explore perfumes with Thai oud, as well as sweet spicy cherries and boozy cognac note, especially one paired with jasmine like in Cherry Noire. It sounds lovely! Greetings from EU.

Thanks for the tempting write-up! The way Sandi describes Cherry Noire made me want to eat a big bowl of dark cherries , and sip some cognac , that delicious snap opening, warmed with saffron , then grounded in cedarwood & Thai oud. Sandi’s review made me think Cherry Noire sound like an actual seduction in a bottle. I could almost smell the aged cognac , burning Thai oud , saffron and I imagine caramelized black cherries just by reading it.
Reaching out to Chris Martin was a major bonus since i like learning the inspiration behind fragrances I’m interested in . I like how he ties the fragrance to memories and images of passion, eroticism and sensuality, and actually love how he’s working with indie and artisanal perfumers only who share his desire to create unforgettable releases only. I also think the slightly indolic jasmine note is brilliant, adding comfort and seduction . The bottle is stunning!

Key takeaways from Sandi Lundberg review of Cherry Noire was the emphasis on how it walks the line between party celebration , degustation and seduction: evoking past memories of enjoying festive sweet cherry treats next to a couple of cognac cocktail. A gourmand scent that truly encapsulates and celebrates the season with neroli , spices , oud from Thailand, very much a bewitching woody ,boozy and fruity treat ♥ It is an unapologetic scent that is perfect for little black dress cooler nights. Excellent job EU

I love the way Sandi Lundberg shared some light on Chris Martin path and the way Statik Olfactive became a brand that’s currently a home for indie and artisanal perfumers who treat scent like a canvas . Awesome intro !
Chris Martin quote was valuable since now I know what he had in mind when he tasked Hez Binkowitz with the project of creating passionate cherry fragrance that’s intoxicating and draws people closer.
Really like the way Sandi Lundberg described Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire. Sinful and exotic fragrance in my opinion , mischievous maybe but with grace. Aged cognac is an absolute favorite of mine , cherries , oud and vanilla too and I’d love a chance at getting a bottle of Cherry Noire. I do not own any other Statik Olfactive fragrances , based on the older reviews I’m sure I’d enjoy Seductive Nectar, Home for the Holidays and Crème de Menthe Café as well. I live in the EU

Really looking forward to sampling this brand—their catalog is expanding and includes a lot of thematic range. I’m addicted to boozy-sweet gourmands, but Cherry Noire sounds like a more well-rounded fragrance, spiking dark cherries with jasmine , and a solid Thai oud bite. Hez Binkowitz managed to pack in all sorts of cozy , provocative and bold notes. The way they’re balanced with the base is intriguing too—especially that “esoteric sultriness” thread.
I’m not into timid seduction game so it’s safe to say I’d enjoy wearing Cherry Noire very much

Cherry Noire is unapologetic and passion heavy , absolutely a scent I’d love to try because it’s not a gourmands you stumble upon on regular basis. Since the topic is sexy night out experiences I’d like to say Cherry Noire is perfect for such occasions.

Dark cherries, highly prized Thai oud and aged cognac are excellent inspirations for an unapologetic captivating gourmand like Cherry Noire. The cherries and spices combined with a bottle of cognac and creamy vanilla-amber- base sounds scrumptious. The cedarwood , oud and a touch of smokiness seem to soften the sweetness in a great way.

Fragrance enthusiasts in EU absolutely NEED to know about a small Dutch boutique in Utrecht called “Memories & Scents” that carry multiple smaller American niche and indie brands, including Statik Olfactive. The only place in whole Europe you can find Statik Olfactive by the way…
I was in Utrecht Neterlands on a conference and I had to visit the boutique and I can say I’m already a fan of Statik Olfactive — 100ml of Home for the Holidays in now in my possession. To my surprise they carry both the 50 and 100ml of Statik Olfactive fragrances.
Cherry Noire is another winner. I’ve been leaning into gourmands lately, and Hez Binkowitz created a very special gourmand. Since I’ve smelled the fragrance at “Memories & Scents” I can tell Sandi Lundberg review does a great job explaining the journey of the fragrance, from spicy and fruity , to boozy and woody . Such a nice sense of balance. The only thing I’d like to add to her beautiful review is the rich floral layers i can smell in Cherry Noire coming from the jasmine .

Thanks for the graceful review of one enchanting fragrance ! Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire feels like a delicious fruity and boozy veil floating through the air — dark cherries and cognac open in magnificent cloud, then vanilla and Thai oud deepen into a warm embrace while just a hints of jasmine and smoke gives it subtle mystery. I love how the boozy gourmand brightness stays bold and sensual , but never over-the-top, and how the base keeps it grounded while still elegant. I’d love to try Cherry Noire! EU-Cheers

A scent to influence behavior rather than mood, a rare sight no doubt.
To me Statik Olfactive Cherry Noire is a great gourmand fragrance, it’s both passionate and tranquil, its boozy and fruity-sweet and woody nature suits me well. Sandi Lundberg

I really appreciate how Sandi Lundberg detailed each layer of the fragrance so beautifully and even got in touch with Chris Martin so he can share with Cafleurebon readers how Hez Binkowitz turned his ideas of intoxicating night out fragrance into reality. No wonder Sandi Lundberg allso said Cherry Noire lingers in the air and in the memory of the evening, no doubt it’s not innocent 😉 Sending thanks from the EU

Thanks for the gripping review, Sandi! What sparks my interest most is the line about Cherry Noire influencing behavior rather than just mood — that’s a rare claim, and the way you describe the composition it feels earned. The cherry and cognac negotiating the evening like two distinct personalities, one dark, one composed, has the energy of a great noir scene where you’re not sure who’s in control. And the Thai oud providing that esoteric, non-aggressive sultriness underneath sounds like the kind of anchor that keeps a bold gourmand from tipping into spectacle. Hez Binkowitz has a real gift for making richness feel purposeful rather than excessive, and Statik Olfactive’s commitment to giving their perfumers genuine creative freedom clearly shows in the result. I’d love to try it. Cheers from WI, USA
