M.Micallef Notorious XO (Daniela Marty) 2025 + A Spritz of Cognac Giveaway

M. Micallef Notorious XO

M.Micallef Notorious XO by Olya Bar

There’s a rite of passage in the world of spirits, a moment when you trade the effervescent fizz of fruity cocktails for something deeper, more contemplative. For me, that elixir was cognac, a golden graduate from my college-era spritzes of pineapple and grenadine. As someone perpetually chasing sensory indulgences, I’ve always found taste and smell intertwined like lovers in a perfume lab. It’s a gustatory odyssey, one where the notes of liquor echo the facets of fragrance. Discovering cognac’s layered structure, its slow burn of oak, spice, and fruit has been nothing short of revelatory, a fun unraveling of why we sip, savor, and sigh.

Cognac demands patience: a post-dinner ritual, historically the domain of men in smoke-hazed cigar lounges, debating empires over amber pours. No gulps here, just deliberate exploration, letting the vapors unfurl on the tongue. It’s the same unhurried intimacy that defines M.Micallef’s latest olfactory gem from the brand’s Jewel collection, Notorious XO. If cognac is liquid legacy, this fragrance is its scented counterpart, a boozy fragrance that mirrors the spirit’s evolution from sharp spark to velvety embrace.

Parfums M. Micallef Notorious XO

M.Micallef Notorious XO by Olya Bar

Composed with the house’s signature extravagance, M.Micallef Notorious XO was inspired by none other but the famous Cognac itself. It opens with a vivacious burst of spices and aromatics: think cardamom’s peppery snap and salty whisper, laced with a citrus zing that evokes the first sip of a well-aged VSOP. It’s invigorating, almost defiant like the initial heat of cognac hitting the palate before it softens. But give it time (and skin), and it settles into a gourmand base of cognac accord, vanilla, and tonka bean, wrapped in a cocoon of sandalwood and amber. What might read as masculine at first woody structures often pigeonholed in men’s wardrobes blooms softer, creamier on women, perhaps that praline accord playing its part, revealing a unisex tenderness that defies convention.

I adore it most in this crisp fall interlude, stepping from the overheated hum of New York lofts into the wind-whipped streets. The scent catches the breeze, swirling around you like vapors rising from a snifter cradled in gloved hands, intimate yet expansive, a portable hearth against the chill. It’s for those who crave rain-soaked woods and spiced depths with a boozy backbone: complex, yes, but surprisingly delicate in its enveloping hug. Don’t be intimidated; let Notorious XO seduce you slowly. It might just be the scent you’ve been waiting for.

Notes: Cognac, Pepper, Marine Notes, Cardamom, Leather, Oak, Tonka Bean, Cinnamon, Sandalwood, Amber, Vanilla, Musk, Praline.

  • Truly lovely notes, M. Micallef never disappoints with its new creations!
Would love to put my hands on it!

  • Olya’s review beautifully captures the sensory bridge between cognac’s warmth and the perfume’s evolving layers – from spicy bursts to creamy gourmand depths –making it feel like a luxurious, intimate ritual. I own M.Micallef’s Mon Parfum, and this sounds like a boozy upgrade! I live in Poland, EU. I don’t own any M. Micallef perfumes.

  • I would love to cozy up on a cold day with M.Micallef Notorious XO, it’s the closest I will get to an expensive cognac. I like how Olya said it is for man and woman, as the site calls it a masculine. My favorite Micallef is GnTonic
    I live in the EU

  • I really enjoyed Olya’s review. I liked how she compared cognac to perfume, it made the whole thing feel more relatable. The mix of spice, wood, and sweetness sounds perfect for cold weather. I don’t own any M Micallef scents yet, but this one sounds like a great place to start. I’m in the EU.

  • What appeals to me in Olya’s review is the cognac narrative cardamom kick, then a calm vanilla/tonka heart over ambered woods. I wear Tony Iommi Monkey Special, Herod, and Noir Extreme; this sounds like it would slot right in, maybe a touch sweeter with praline. I don’t own any M.Micallef yet. I am in France EU.

  • The Martine Micallef and Geoffrey Nejman family are so opportunistic , i’m glad they didn’t miss the to create the house of M. Micallef.
I can see why Olya Bar believes Notorious XO is like a perfectly round cognac experience, pointing out its level of complexity. Tranquil fragrance and unique olfactory experience I’m sure. I find impressive how the perfumer was able to merge elegance and artistry with notes like cognac and sandalwood , spices and marine notes.
I do have M.Micallef favorite fragrance – Varseau
Thanks for the review, and the giveaway

Thanks for the tempting write-up! The way Olya describes Notorious XO made me taste cinnamon cookies melting into a bold glass of XO cognac with added cardamom , that spicy-boozy snap opening , warmed with notes of vanilla and tonka , then grounded in resinous woods & amber. I appreciate that it’s indulgent without going overboard; there’s elegance in its restraint that resonates. I’d love to try M.Micallef Notorious XO !

I enjoy greatly Olya Bar creativity, honesty and artistic approach when reviewing fragrances.I wish I was there with her when she sprayed M.Micallef Notorious XO on skin for the first time , just to see her facial expression.
Notorious XO duality is so well-bred, thanks to Olya vacation in the Caribbeans story I feel enclosed with lush tropical forest , cardamom and cinnamon , caramel , dancing people , the ocean, cognac and desire simultaneously.
I’m ready for premium cognac type of fragrance , I’m ready for Notorious XO
    Thanks a million

  • Painting_and_basketball says:

As usual there’s no basic information with Olya Bar, her review is multidimensional as well .
I wish I had previous experience with Jewel collection but I don’t , Delice is a fragrance from another collection i own. M.Micallef as a brand has always been known for art and crafts , sophisticated fragrances and one of the best looking bottles in the industry.
I know niche fragrances and with the brutal competitiveness on the market i need something big to really grab my attention, and Notorious XO high quality raw materials, Hennessy XO cognac connections, tonka bean and vanilla aroma melding with the sandalwood did the trick for me.
Through Notorious XO I can book a flight to Hennessy headquarters and buy some rare cognac , whiteout actually being there. You can’t beat that
    Cheers EU

They say “Every empty bottle is filled with stories” and M.Micallef Notorious XO is a fragrance with a lot of stories to tell.
In the vibrant landscape of 2025 fragrance launches Notorious XO by M.Micallef emerges as a compelling olfactory interpretation of the Hennessy XO pleasing, indulgent, and unashamedly boozy and emotional. True to the symbolism of its namesake , this unisex fragrance i believe evokes passion and warmth through a decadent boozy , sweet and woody structure that leans both playful and sophisticated.
From the very first spray, Notorious XO announces its character with a burst of cognac, delicious vanilla and tonka nuances.Comfortable and vivid fragrance with sandalwood and well dosed sweetness on top of the amber.Thank you kindly EU

  • Ducati.Paniagale.V4.S says:

In my steadily growing fragrance collection there is already one M.Micallef fragrance i bought because of Cafleurebon and Redolessence – DESIRTOXIC L’INTENSE , and now thanks to Olya Bar I’m very much looking forward of trying Notorious XO .
Even though Olya Bar spoke of all the different boozy and gourmand aspects of the fragrance like the cognac, vanilla tonka , the darker woody and ambery facets do make Notorious XO so special .
I love clubbing and Notorious XO is just perfect for the times i’m going to more high end parties , like a beautiful and unique cognac song.

  • Considering how knowledgeable yet picky Olya Bar is , I’m surprised by their burst of enthusiasm and genuine appraisal of M. Micallef Notorious XO , thrilled as she’s ever been to say the least . Being a lover of of good warm spicy boozy fragrances I’d say Notorious XO is a love for me.
With the new release by M. Micallef fragrance enthusiasts worldwide are invited to explore a new emotion and to unveil the true nature of XO rum and chill out moments . Notorious XO is a scent focused on the free-thinking attitude , created for those who dare to take their time, and it aims to give the wearer a sense of relaxation.
As usual M. Micallef are relying on creativity and always using the best ingredients. Free-thinking attitude is all over the place.
Like everything in real life some components of Notorious XO are gentle others sensual sandalwood , exquisite cognac , balanced sweetness , the cognac and woods I’m looking for the most.
I happen to own Vanille Orient and Gourmet. I do believe the first is now discontinued , or maybe vaulted.

I can say, with confidence that M.Micallef is a brand every fragrance lover needs to know, exquisite and alluring creations made by free thinkers with quality ingredients , long lasting on top of that.I no longer live in Paris , still visit once a month and Jovoy is the place where you can find them, including Notorious XO i presume.
I haven’t been able to smelled the fragrance yet , and Ms Bar other then reviewing the scent also mentioned something quite important – Notorious XO is very deep and complex scent and I think for people with acquired taste.
Leather , cardamom , cognac and amber are of of my favorite notes , so Notorious XO checks all the boxes. The luxurious gourmand richness , the vanilla and the spicy-woody and sensual drydown are the most attractive parts of the fragrance, together with the beautiful bottle.
    Gourmet is my N1

I’m very much picky in terms of boozy and sweet fragrances , and especially those that combine the two genres.
Olya Bar assessment of M.Micallef Notorious XO brought me back to my college-era as well, when grandma used to bake different vanilla desserts a couple of times per week , and grandpa was making homemade cognac , great times I miss a lot.
I became instantly attracted to the comforting gourmand smell of Notorious XO together with carefully selected by Daniela Marty other deeper and darker shades like the sandalwood , musk and amber . I really like the dance between delicious and sensual .
When I buy new niche fragrance the quality should be outstanding, and the with certain level of uniqueness , I’m definitely impressed.
Sum total i love the whole Olya Bar read , and I’d also love to win a bottle of Notorious XO . Patchouli is the name of the M.Micallef fragrance I own
    Thank you

  • What else to ask? The article is made by Olya Bar exotic boozy spicy cocktail with gourmand base , woody and spicy and musk clashing in a awesome cloud, a brilliant idea to counter to mass-produced overly sweet boozy fragrances coming out lately.
I like the style of the bottle , the black top , l painted flowers and I’m excited for M.Micallef in general.
I absolutely love the specific Notorious XO delicate quality , the rain-soaked woods , and i find interesting the whole sexy yet cozy delicious atmosphere. Immersive multi-sensorial experience i believe.
Thanks for the opportunity to win such a novelty fragrance like Notorious XO , and also thanks to Olya Bar for the review. I have maybe 10ml left of my GNTONIC bottle .

Cognac is on of the stars of 2025 , and I’m glad Notorious XO is delicious, unique and sophisticated at the same time, boozy fragrance on a different level , one of the reasons it worked like a charm for Olya Bar.
Her work with the latest M.Micallef release is like invading the senses tasty poetic invitation. Hennessy XO, black pepper, cinnamon, delicious vanilla and cloudy woody haze . Notorious XO is piece of art elegant fragrance. GNTONIC i own , great fresh fragrance

  • Shibuichi2000 says:

I almost draw a mental parallel between Olya’s trading effervescence & fruitiness for depth & contemplating and stepping into adulthood.
Everything is more serious, more profound and you perceive the shallow aspects of a younger you as a distant buzz.
As a non drinker, I’m almost convinced by this review to sample the ambery temptation 🙂

  • Audi_Georgy5 says:

Notorious XO is so special , inspired by the famous Hennessy XO cognac, Daniela Marty made the scent like an union between cognac, leather, black pepper and and woods , the classic is echoing in the core of the fragrance .
For Olya Bar, Notorious XO is more vibrant with vanilla, spices and sandalwood soaked in cognac with presence of citrus zing . Decadent , rich and balanced , Notorious XO deserves all the hype on social media and praises by Olya Bar based on its quality, performance and raw materials. Fantastic EU

  • Nuvare Aenra says:

I was completely captivated by Olay’s comparison of the fragrance’s evolution to the experience of sipping cognac—that journey from a bright, spicy opening to a deep, velvety, and contemplative dry-down. She doesn’t just list the notes; she makes you feel the atmosphere of a “rain-soaked wood” and the “portable hearth” the scent creates.

The way she describes the fragrance as defying convention, starting with a structure often deemed masculine but blooming into a unisex, creamy softness on the skin, is what appeals to me most. It makes Notorious XO sound incredibly nuanced and wearable.

And no, I do not own any M.Micallef perfumes… yet. But this review has certainly put Notorious XO at the top of my must-try list!

I am from the EU, Germany.

  • Olya’s review really nails why boozy fragrances are so compelling. I’m drawn to the practical description of its wearability how it’s “complex, yes, but surprisingly delicate.” It’s helpful to know it works well in a crisp fall setting, catching the breeze without being overwhelming. The note breakdown sounds fantastic, especially the promise of that cognac, vanilla, and praline accord. No, I don’t own any fragrances from M. Micallef, but I’m definitely more interested now. EU

  • AromaAdventurer says:

Olya’s review perfectly captures the sensory luxury that M. Micallef does so well. As someone who owns and adores Ananda Mango from the house, I know they have a talent for creating rich, immersive scents that are both unique and incredibly wearable. Reading this, I can almost smell the transition she describes from the peppery cardamom snap to that creamy, cozy base of sandalwood and praline. It sounds like the perfect olfactory counterpart to a cozy evening.
Knowing the quality and creativity behind my Ananda Mango, Notorious XO immediately jumps to the top of my sample list. It sounds like a stunning, sophisticated evolution for fall and winter.

  • FragranceFrenzyS says:

Olya totally got me with the “portable hearth against the chill” line. My wallet did not need to read that.
I’m a huge M. Micallef fan my bottle of Ylang in Gold Nectar is basically liquid happiness, so I already trust them to make absolute magic. If Notorious XO is even half as decadent and well-blended as that, but with a boozy, spicy kick? Sign me up. This sounds like the perfect scent to wear when you want to feel like a sophisticated villain in your own life.
Amazing review. My wishlist just grew. EU

  • I find the article very informative and also confirms M.Micallef, Martine Micallef and Geoffrey Nejman artistic nature and love for everything artistic.
Well structured fragrance episode by Olya Bar with some help of Michelyn Camen , I like the more thoughtful overall experience I just had.
I am a gourmand , cognac , spicy and leather fragrances lover and the new Notorious XO appeals to me greatly. I learned about the kinetic pairing of quality cognac , rich spices , leather and vanilla in latest M.Micallef
[ Composed with the signature extravagance , M.Micallef Notorious XO was inspired by none other but the famous Cognac itself . ]
I’m all for being involved with this project. My personal final flourish is the harmony the Daniela Marty was able to achieve , together with the high end ingredients and gorgeous presentation.
Thank you very much , EU

  • I can tell based on the provided information that Olya Bar has a lot of love for M.Micallef and Notorious XO.
Considering the review and scent profile I believe Notorious XO is the new jewel in the crown of cold weather , leaning gourmand festive and boozy perfumery.
I like the fact that Daniela Marty creation is not a subtle fragrance—it is bold, confident, and unapologetically recognizable . But beneath its playful exterior lies a thoughtful structure. It plays with texture and memory, tapping into both nostalgia , intimacy and sensuality. This is a perfume for those who want their scent to tell a story – one of warmth, passion, and cherished moments with friends and love ones.
M.Micallef is a brand i don’t know yet but love to try.
Admirations for your blog, and work on Notorious XO EU

  • Don’t have much experience with this house or the note of cognac in perfumery, but this fragrance looks very inviting… praline, tonka, cinnamon, vanille. Sounds heavenly! Thanks!!

    EU , Thanks in advance
The first rains have arrived , some leaves are starting to yellow, and suddenly i feel like binge-watching all those 90s early 00s TV series like Friends or House M.D. which always seem to live in autumn, with a cozy blanket and bowl of pralines and cinnamon cookies, vanilla deserts , and a bottle of cognac … sounds awesome right ?
Winter weather isn’t fully here yet, but some fragrances already capture that cozy, slightly nostalgic vibe. M. Micallef Notorious XO Holidays perfectly captures the transition from the last autumn days to the first hints of the winter . Imagined myself in the countryside in an old farm house at sunset, with the sweet smell of freshly baked pralines and cinnamon cookies, vanilla deserts , and a bottle of cognac . Watching Friends or House M.D. while the world outside turns white with snow falling for days . All the notes of Notorious XO are blended well by Daniela Marty , on a delicate musky and woody base. My favorite M.Micallef is called EdenFalls .Great work

  • I absolutely love the article, once again the information made me wonder, and think for a while
It’s the smell of hospitality that’s been polished, not staged — comforting, familiar, and a touch luxurious – Olya Bar
Since I enjoyed everything I read I’m not sure where should even start with. Should I start with Olya affection for artistic and beautiful gourmands , her passion for creative fragrances and trips , or the unique contrast between the cognac, dark spicy haze , vanilla , or maybe the importance of the addictive dry-down and seductive feel ? All are equally as important for the forming of M.Micallef Notorious XO.
Thanks to Olya I know the new M.Micallef fragrance is just great , showing up the true elegance of niche perfumery .

With temperatures continuing to drop, Cognac is the perfect drink to cozy up with at the end of a long day and with this new release M.Micallef’s Notorious XO sounds like a really beautiful fragrance for the fall. I find quite interesting the rich opening note of aged cognac that is followed by hints of pepper and watery notes that add freshness, while In the heart, leather, cardamom, oakmoss, tonka bean, and cinnamon combine to create a spicy, warm, and slightly smoky aroma. What intrigues me mostly is that the composition as Olya’s describes, settles into a gourmand base of cognac accord, vanilla, and tonka bean, wrapped in a cocoon of sandalwood and amber revealing a unisex tenderness that defies convention.I love the uniqueness of this boozy fragrance, sounds so warm, smooth with a sensual sweet finish to this spicy gourmand.
Definitely one I’d love to experience!

  • I love how the things worked out for Martine Micallef and Geoffrey Nejman, I remember from some older articles they started as from beauty salons owner and a banker, and lab financial manager and painter to successful niche brand owners , I’m glad they took their chances.
I’ve heard M.Micallef praised by many people on Cafleurebon , but I know just two fragrances GNTONIC refreshing and invigorating vacation time fragrance , and the super delicious Note Vanillée Nectar , the first i own and the latter is one of my wife’s favorites.
I like M.Micallef approach beautiful bottles , longevity, quality of the fragrances and innovativeness .
Notorious XO is attractive because how complex it is , with amber and cognac , vanilla, spices and sandalwood essence , and classy yet sensual approach , one epic journey I’d like to experience myself

  • Just when you think you know boozy fragrances Olya comes along to show how wrong you are !!!
I love how last few years M.Micallef are progressively bringing extraordinary hits DESIRTOXIC , GNTONIC , Hypnotic Musk and now Notorious XO . The success of the new release is not a surprise to anyone who knows the exquisite gourmand pleasures called Gourmet and Note Vanille. M.Micallef future is bright, Notorious XO is classy leather and booze fragrance with gourmand nuances, and I’m intrigued.
Even Olya Bar was caught off guard by the delicious smell. The gentle , intimate yet expansive cognac, leather, with praline and vanilla gourmand appeal , together with the black pepper combination comes as a gentle reminder of how there are still brands like M.Micallef , and perfumers like Daniela Marty still posses imagination, and value inventiveness.

  • Summed up by the introduction by Olya Bar , taking her time and sharing extra details about the nature of cognac , her thoughts on M.Micallef Notorious XO I’d say the fragrance is unapologetically bold . Created by Daniela Marty fragrance that captures the sweetness, depth, and of modern intimacy , strive for originality , comfort and the best cognac available.
I really like the dry-down when the fragrance turns warm and sensual with rich swirls of molten sweetness coming from the vanilla and cognac nuances create a dreamy center. It is both comforting and luxurious, evoking memories of shared sweetness and cognac bottles , perhaps a romantic gesture or an afternoon with friends or loved ones at home.
As it settles, Notorious XO deepens into a warm and sensual base of sandalwood, resins and musk.

Stark contrasts and a little bit of everything of what I like I’d describe in short Notorious XO . The unique merging of premium quality cognac with and alluring vanilla, woody density , leather mango and cinnamon are the most appealing sides of Notorious XO . I’m expecting a delicious spicy , woody and sweet haze that came as a result of the merging , with some leather on the side.
I had a terrific time reading Olya Bar article , always been a fan of her approach, just as I’m a fan of M.Micallef Vanille Aoud.

Notorious XO sounds great, I’m fascinated by the love affair between the delicious vanilla , deep rich Hennessy XO cognac, cinnamon and tonka from one angle, the sensual sandalwood and musk on the second angle, and the more gentle Australian sandalwood on another.
Olya Bar pointed out that the everything is blended really well leading to a brilliant and delicious scent cloud with a bit of leather as well , there’s a theory that opposites attract and Notorious XO is the evidence.
The intricate layering of palatable and seductive , spicy , sweet and boozy notes , plus the beautiful bottle do make Notorious XO sound enchanting and multifaceted. I’m a fan of M.Micallef Delice
    Thanks a lot EU

    First of all, beautifully written.

I never thought I’d gravitate towards cognac in my perfumes, but once I tried Laudano Nero by Tiziana Terenzi and Viole Nere by Meo Fusciuni, I was hooked. Just like any sensible man from the Balkans, I love drinking and I wouldn’t say no to cognac in a heated glass on a cold day.

This creation appears to evoke just that and that’s why I’d love to sample it.

    I’m from Croatia (EU).

  • The way olya connects scent, memory, and ritual is something I deeply relate to. Her description of the fragrance as a portable hearth against the chill instantly sold me. I own Ylang in Gold from M.Micallef.

  • BloomyWinter says:

The review appeals because it feels deeply personal. Olya doesn’t write like an outsider describing notes, she writes like someone who’s lived those moments.
I loved the blend of intellect and intimacy in her tone. I own GnTonic, but this boozy, spiced side of the house sounds equally compelling.

  • fragrancegorlie says:

I love that the review isn’t afraid to romanticize scent. There’s a richness in how Olya paints Notorious XO and what truly appealed to me most was her balance of masculine imagery and feminity in the fragrane makling it feel truly unisex. I don’t own any M. Micallef perfumes.

  • ForTheLoveofFrag says:

I am drawn to the blend of gourmand and woody accords such as praline, vanilla, amber, leather and this appeals especially because I like scents that evolve. I don’t own any M.Micallef yet.

  • I admire the way olya took something as technical as a note breakdown and turned it into art. The idea that scent could echo a beverage’s texture and mood is genius. I currently own M.Micallef’s DesirToxic.

  • LavenderJuliette says:

What appeals to me is how Olya finds beauty in transition. Her way of blending the taste, smell of the perfume with the emotional aspects of it is amazing. I’ve sampled Ylang in Gold before but I am yet to try out others from the house.

  • The reason Olya’s review speaks to me is because she understands duality, warmth and chill, sweetness and spice, masculinity and softness. She describes the scent as something alive, transforming with time and skin, and that’s what i loved about it. I also loved her respect for the ritual behind it; it reminded me of my grandfather’s after-dinner brandy sessions. Thank you

  • Featherblossom says:

I loved how the scent opens sharp and bright before melting into tonka, amber, and vanilla. That sounds like emotional storytelling through fragrance. The unisex angle also appeals since I gravitate toward scents that arent exclusively targetting men or women. energy. I own GnTonic and Ananda Kiss, and this would round out my small collection beautifully.

  • Cognac, yes! Praline, hmm, fun to eat at least. You describe this boozy perfume as a possible step into gourmand territory, I can’t say I’m not curious. Please let me win this to Germany, thank you for the draw!

  • I love fragrances that evoke aged spirits, like Idole by Lubin or Apple Brandy by By Killian, but nothing surpasses the formidable Chêne by Serge Lutens. I’ve never worn any M. Micallef fragrances and I’m not familiar with Daniela Marty’s work. But this excerpt intrigues me: “Discovering cognac’s layered structure, its slow burn of oak, spice, and fruit has been nothing short of revelatory, a fun unraveling of why we sip, savor, and sigh,” because, as a very patriotic Frenchman, I’ve already had the opportunity to appreciate the wonderful aroma of old Rémy Martin cognacs… I live in France, EU.

  • This was a symposium of sweets intertwined with a refreshing spirit. Personally I don’t crave gourmands but everyone’s palate can be impartial or preferential. The fresher elements and pepper makes one expect the initial flair; however the way it’s composed leaves me with the impression that it’s not only loud but a regal rollercoaster throughout its wear. The bottle is a showstopper too “NOTORIOUS XO”. I like it’s namesake even though I have no experience with the M.
    Michelef fragrance house. From USA.

  • As a whiskey man, I haven’t spent much time with cognac, but “its slow burn of oak, spice, and fruit” sounds like fantastic inspiration for a fragrance. M.Micallef Notorious XO gives the booze its required heat with some pepper and cinnamon. And I love the use of cardamom here—a spice that smells like cool-weather comfort baking and interacts nicely with a leather note. “I adore it most in this crisp fall interlude, stepping from the overheated hum of New York lofts into the wind-whipped streets.” Perfect timing as the temps dip and the first flurries of the season are starting to fall.

    I’m in the USA.

  • Hey there
I wanted Olya Bar article to continue, love everything I read, M. Micallef perfumes are so artistic , the Hennessy cognac connection , the awesome presentation and the lush atmosphere.
I have a keen interest in Notorious XO because of the cosmopolitan aroma and its level of development , from spices and aromatics , to cognac and rounded warmth of amber and vanilla , and hints of leather and sandalwood.
    I’m new to M.Micallef
    Thank you kindly EU

Months have passed, but i still try to adjust to niche perfumery, and niche style of reviews on Cafleurebon.
Olya Bar was able to trick my imagination into thinking of cognac , cinnamon , luxury desserts where the sweetness and boldness are perfectly dosed and compounded to alluring  vanilla.

“It’s invigorating, almost defiant like the initial heat of cognac hitting the palate before it softens.”
By all means YES to what Olya Bar stated , eye-opening and zealous review and one spectacular fragrance like M.Micallef Notorious XO .

Playful, sensual nectar with a touch of leather that keep it from being overly saccharine , Notorious XO is so special. All the notes coming together to creating a rich woody , sweet and spicy fragrance leaning on cognac . Both comforting and seductive elements has me sold.
I don’t own any M.Micallef but Notorious XO is definitely going on my list now. Thanks

  • The M.Micallef lineup features some of the coolest packaging out there. I know it’s about the juice and not the bottle , but the very first image of Notorious XO immediately caught my eye , especially the color scheme , the design of the bottle and the cap.
This deep cognac , tonka and vanilla cream take on boozy gourmand brushed with sandalwood and amber finesse sounds wonderful . Comforting and seductive? Absolutely I’d love to try this and get a chance to check out the the aroma and the bottle in person. I own two M.Micallef fragrances DesirToxic and EdenFalls.
    Greetings from the EU.

  • I don’t know what cognac smells in perfumes, but I dp like how Olya described the sensation og wearing this one “It’s for those who crave rain-soaked woods and spiced depths with a boozy backbone: complex, yes, but surprisingly delicate in its enveloping hug.”
I have two fragrances from the house and one of them holds a special place in my heart – Mon Parfum.

  • Hello
Captivating read , no mistake . I like all the details Olya Bar shared , how Notorious XO was ina way inspired by Hennessy XO cognac , the whole scent profile and overall free-thinking attitude of both the article and the fragrance.
Notorious XO is fluffy , spicy and woody , with seductive cognac and vanilla base , and appropriate for all who are looking for a perfect rounded fall and winter weather experience. Delightful fragrance I believe.
I’m exposed to niche perfumery, and sure I’m aware of a few M.Micallef fragrances , even own one called Ananda Tchai.
    Thank you very much EU

  • I love the the whole package, I mean the main Notorious XO article with the review , cognac details i was not aware of , and it seems like Daniela Marty fragrance impressed Olya Bar quite a bit.
M.Micallef Notorious XO was created with the intention of making the wearer feel special , to lift up his spirit . It is powerful and novelty fragrance, with boozy , spicy and sweet gourmand layers ,i don’t think I’ve smelled anything like that before. The vanilla boozy layers, the sandalwood and musk finesse are so appealing.
GNTONIC is the only M.Micallef I’ve smelled, Summer gem in my opinion.
    EU
    Thank you for the generosity

  • Just by reading the article I visualized the exact same moment when Olya Bar sprayed M.Micallef Notorious XO on skin for the first time , I can almost see the delightfulness in her eyes .
Personally I’ve never smelled spicy-boozy fragrance with slight marine accord , cinnamon with ”rain-soaked woods” , kudos to M.Micallef and Daniela Marty for the idea. What differentiates Notorious XO from a lot of other spicy-boozy fragrances on the market is that M.Micallef are focusing on the whole package, and not just on one or two aspects , bottle is beautiful as well.
I like all kinds of gourmands , but especially the more discreet and not overly aggressive that smell like a delicious vanilla and cognac , and a good sandalwood too , I’m so excited about Notorious XO . I have no prior experience with M.Micallef . EU
    Thank you for the effort

  • I dare to say smelling M.Micallef fragrances for the first time is a very special experience , I know since in my possession are Mon Parfum Cristal and Ma Nature.
Thanks to Olya Bar , the host today, and all the lovely information about Notorious XO, the nature of cognac and the perfumer Daniela Marty i learned how the fragrance smells, comforting boozy gourmand , directly influenced by Hennessy XO cognac . Not just the great smelling aroma with cognac and vanilla , there’s also sandalwood, spices and different temptations , it’s almost like Notorious XO is part of a fantasy story.
    Much appreciated, EU

  • Such a pleasing experience i just had Wow
About today’s read – so vivid and full of originality and positive energy. Olya Bar is not only built differently, happy with modest personality but she also likes to surround himself with people who have the same or similar values, exactly why she’s so respected at Twisted Lilly and on Cafleurebon. With her Notorious XO review she was able to craft soul rewarding experiences for the Cafleurebon subscribers.
“But give it time (and skin), and it settles into a gourmand base of cognac accord, vanilla, and tonka bean, wrapped in a cocoon of sandalwood and amber.” Olya Bar
The mental getaway to the best cognac , spices and sandalwood , delicious feel , what a journey i had with the help of the new M.Micallef fragrance and Olya . I bet Notorious XO would surprise me greatly , soulful fragrance i believe , I’m hooked.

I don’t remember the last time I’ve seen Olya so involved in a boozy gourmand , it seems like Notorious XO evoked some college-era spritzes memories and maybe chill out vacation moments in her , that’s a statement on its own ! If Olya believes the gourmand base is wrapped in a cocoon of sandalwood and amber , making Notorious XO so addictive and sophisticated , i can’t even imagine how good it really is , dopamine rush i can already feel. mischievous

  • I loved the cognac intro and the way Olya Bar described M.Micallef Notorious XO . Sinful cold weather fragrance in my opinion , mischievous maybe but with grace. • I love top quality gourmands , cognac , cardamom with sandalwood , and from M.Micallef Notorious XO I’m anticipating spectacular fragrance, something I’ve never encountered before.
Olya Bar revealed a lot , from the bursting of spices opening , to the exceptionally rich vanilla , sandalwood and cognac , and last but not least how Notorious XO is wrapped in a balanced inviting veil , the new M.Micallef is so addictive and rich , not an easy task I believe. Olya observations on M.Micallef Notorious XO are based on Hennessy XO , sandalwood finesse , vanilla, spices , elegance and reinterpretations of the perfect winter indulgence.
I’m enthusiastic about the hidden sensual depth of the fragrance , and lingering resonance of woods , booze and sweetness. Bottle is stunning

What I just read was not just a refined and detailed read , but some unique stories with guilty Hennessy XO and vanilla pleasures, refined craftsmanship and tonka bean , but M.Micallef and Daniela Marty boozy gourmand ambitions and dreams turned into reality , and I’m loving it.
What I enjoyed overall are the two tones of the “Sleitz of Cognac” giveaway , the cognac detailed introduction and Olya Bar review of NotoriousXO , all grabbed my attention right away.
I love good and sophisticated strong gourmands like Notorious XO , cognac , cinnamon just like I love happy , dedicated and not overly pretentious people like Olya Bar , the whole experience is like a medley of both. Based on the tone of the article I believe she’ll keep forging a lot of new ones with its compex and sweet ,warm and boozy like aroma of Notorious XO.
Cognac , tonka and vanilla are favorites of mine, let alone how Olya said Notorious XO is wrapped in a cocoon of sandalwood and amber , exquisite pleasure I’d love to win.
Thank you very much M.Micallef , and special thanks to Olya Bar for the hard work

Olya clearly loves the subject she’s describing. The detail that caught me most was how the scent opens sharp and bright before melting into tonka, amber, and vanilla. The unisex angle also appeals since I gravitate toward unisex scents. I own GnTonic and Ananda Kiss from M.Micallef. Thankyou

I have a feeling during the process of creating Notorious XO the M.Micallef team and Daniela Marty had multiple of flavorful brainstorming moments , from bottles of Hennessy XO, to cinnamon vanilla desserts , to the name and good performance.
My takeaway about Notorious XO is the overall sense of refinery and heritage mixed with delicious nuances. It appeals to me that the Daniela Marty infused the fragrance with positivity.
In light of Olya Bar review and introduction cognac traditions , including the review I have no doubts Notorious XO is stunning. In July I bought GNTONIC for the second time , my favorite M.Micallef

  • I loved that Olya described Notorious XO as liquid legacy, because that’s exactly how I think about spirits and fine fragrances, both are crafted for reflection. Her tone feels luxurious and a beautifully written review indeed.
I own Note Vanillée and it’s one of my comfort fragrances. This one sounds like its sophisticated cousin.

The fragrance is vibrant and uplifting . Smelling Notorious XO will get me in party mood every time a get a sniff … I imagine. • The way the cognac facet is woven through the composition is what hooked me. It sounds polished but still cozy. I’m new to M.Micallef so currently dont own any from this brand but would love to.

  • I found the review alluring because it balances art and realism. Olya knows how to make perfume sound elegant without ever exaggerating. The mention of cardamom, vanilla, and praline made me imagine the smoothness of a spiced dessert paired with aged cognac. I own Ylang in Gold, a masterpiece in my opinion, and I would love to see how Notorious XO interprets luxury in a darker tone. Thankyou Cafleurebon and M. Micallef for the generosity.

  • Vanilla and cognac are two of my favorite things to consume and smell , so I am very excited to try M. Micallef Notorious XO . Together with the cinnamon the blend sounds delicious and sumptuous. I appreciate her ability to blend sensuality with thoughtfulness. Cognac, vanilla, and tonka bean together sound divine. I don’t own any M.Micallef yet, but this one might change that.

  • The connection between taste and scent in Olya’s review struck me instantly. The idea that Notorious XO blooms softer and creamier on skin is fascinating. My favorite M.Micallef so far is GnTonic.

  • pomona vitalis says:

I enjoyed how Olya described the perfume’s transition from the bright snap of cardamom to a mellow, velvety base of amber and tonka bean. Notorious XO sounds both comforting and elegant, perfect for this season. I own Note Vanillee, which I adore, and I’m excited to see how this one compares.
Thanks for the review, and the giveaway

I really loved Olya’s portrayal of Notorious XO as liquid legacy. She did it so brilliantly that I could almost smell the cognac’s heat blending with creamy vanilla and woods. It’s rare to find a review that makes you feel this much. I don’t own any M.Micallef perfumes yet, but this review convinced me to start. Cheers from Germany.

  • I own Mon Parfum, and this new release sounds like a fantastic boozy upgrade! My favorite Micallef is GnTonic, but I’m always excited to see their new creations. The notes in this one sound truly lovely, and I love that it’s described as perfectly unisex.

  • I would love to cozy up with Notorious XO on a cold day. The mix of spice, wood, and sweetness sounds absolutely perfect for the season. I really enjoyed how Olya compared cognac to perfume; it made the whole thing feel more relatable and luxurious. Starting with that cardamom kick and settling into a calm vanilla heart is any perfume lovers dream. I dont own any of their perfumes currently but this looks like a good one to start with.

  • Wow — what a stunning fragrance story! ✨ The idea of luxury cognac notes meets elegant perfume truly excites me. Thank you so much for this chance! Crossing fingers and hoping my luck gets a little spritz of cognac charm! #MMicallefNotoriousXO #GiveawayEntry

  • MysticalArugula says:

I can see why Olya believes this is like a perfectly round cognac experience. M.Micallef as a brand has always been known for its sophisticated fragrances and artful bottles. The high-quality raw materials and Hennessy connection really inrigued me.
    Thank you kindly and EU

  • Thanks for such a tempting review olya! The review made me imagine cinnamon cookies melting into a bold glass of cognac. I usually wear scents like Tom ford Noir Extreme, and this sounds like it would slot right in, perhaps with a touch more praline sweetness. I haven’t tried M.Micallef yet.

  • I own Desirtoxic, and now thanks to Olya Bar, I’m very much looking forward to trying Notorious XO. The darker woody and ambery facets sound so special. I don’t own any from the Jewel collection yet, but this sounds like a great, sophisticated addition.

  • Thebluelotus says:

The review’s opening lines hooked me completely. That image of trading fruity cocktails for something deeper felt symbolic of how taste matures over time. Olya’s writing always feels relatable. I own GnTonic by M.Micallef, and I think Notorious XO would beautifully contrast its freshness. I’m in the EU.

  • I really enjoyed reading Olya’s review of M.Micallef Notorious XO and what sparked my interest was “I adore it most in this crisp fall interlude, stepping from the overheated hum of New York lofts into the wind-whipped streets. The scent catches the breeze, swirling around you like vapors rising from a snifter cradled in gloved hands, intimate yet expansive, a portable hearth against the chill.”
I don’t own any perfume from the house, so this would be a nice start!

First of all thanks for the opportunity to own this lovely fragrance. I really loved the imagery in Olya’s review. Her words felt like stepping into a candle-lit room with smoke and spices in the background. I appreciate that she highlighted the fragrance’s unisex softness, which is again important. Thank you.

  • I loved how Olya merged nostalgia with indulgence. Her transition from college-era sweetness to cognac sophistication is something that really impressed me. I am familiar with the house and I have tried a few of their creations, Varseau in particular is my favorite.

  • The review appealed to me because Olya captures not just the smell, but the mood of wearing it. Her style of writing and understanding of balance drew me in completely. I own Note Vanillee by M.Micallef. I find it really amazing how notes like cognac and sandalwood and spices were combined to come up with this masterpiece. Cheers EU

  • I like that the review doesn’t just say here are the notes but rather it tells what it reminds me of which is interesting.I have Ylang in Gold. Would love to win Notorious XO.

  • Olya Bar words are truly evocative, capturing the essence of memories that many of us can relate to . I’m talking about those simple yet profound moments of passion, comfort, romance and some childhood memories , and with Notorious XO even such of college-era parties . For those who can appreciate them they all linger around longer than any fragrance.
Olya framing of M.Micallef Notorious XO as “If cognac is liquid legacy , this fragrance is its scented counterpart, a boozy fragrance that mirrors the spirit’s evolution from sharp spark to velvety embrace .” i imagine is rooted in specific hedonistic and decadent memories he had with the help of the fragrance
All beautifully aligns with the emotional spectrum a boozy nectar like Notorious XO , with spices , amber and delicious vanilla scent profile. EU

Notorious XO from M.Micallef captivated my interest. With the assistance of Olya Bar i can tell the use of all boozy and gourmand and spicy aspects here are expertly applied by Daniela Marty , and the sandalwood is giving the fragrance subtle woody edge. I’m keen on the amber too and the richness of the fragrance.
I never had a chance to try M.Micallef fragrance before but i’m down with the idea of smooth and alluring gourmands like Notorious XO. I acknowledge Olya Bar fine work and I’d like to say I’m thankful for the chance. EU

  • TimeTraveler_22 says:

Everything about this sounds irresistible! The blend of cognac and cinnamon over vanilla feels like a dream pairing, and the addition of sandalwood and ocean notion is such a fascinating twist—I don’t recall seeing it used elsewhere. The bottle itself is stunning, and I’ve been eyeing M. Micallef for a while, so this might just be the perfect first purchase. I really appreciate how Olya detailed each layer of the fragrance so beautifully. Sending thanks from the EU

  • It has been a pleasure learning about Notorious XO . Not a lot of people feel the need to create, and it seems like with both Olya Bar , Daniela Marty and M.Micallef team it comes from within. I like how the brand is implementing more classical , and artisanal approaches , instead of futuristic technology.
I’m a fan of beautiful things, non-artificial gourmands , cognac , tonka bean and sandalwood , and with Notorious XO I’m envisaging excellence.
Thanks to Olya Bar and Cafleurebon GNTONIC is in my Summer rotation , and since i bought it dozens of random people asked me about what I’m wearing

From the very first moment, Notorious XO from M.Micallef draws you in with soft spices , and the warmth of a a cognac i haven’t drank since my college days – Hennessy XO . I imagined sweet and playful feel , almost like the beginning of a love story. But there’s more beneath the surface. As it develops, rich notes of warm vanilla bean  and hint of creamy sandalwood appear , offering both comfort and seduction. The base lingers with like a sensual treat  – warm, long lasting, unforgettable fragrance.
Notorious XO is a gourmand fragrance with depth. It’s sweet without being simple, romantic without being naive. It captures the intimacy of the moment and I’d love to win a bottle.

  • Thanks for the rich and spirited review! M. Micallef Notorious XO feels like sipping a rare cognac in a velvet-lined study—cognac and pepper open with a warm fizz, leather and cinnamon march in with cardamom and tonka bean, and the vanilla-praline and amber base wrap it all in a suave, modern night-out aura. I especially loved how the watery notes add brightness so the boozy depth never becomes heavy, making it bold and drinkable at once. I’d love to try Notorious XO!

  • With such exquisite reads I’d like so say signing up to Cafleurebon for at least 10+ years ahead is a must . You guys are all built differently , Olya Bar own words proves that “What might read as masculine at first woody structures often pigeonholed in men’s wardrobes blooms softer, creamier on women, perhaps that praline accord playing its part, revealing a unisex tenderness that defies convention.”
Very emotional and alluring description by Olya , M. Micallef Notorious XO sounds spectacular , on top of the beautiful pictures , premium cognac and spectacular looking bottle. I“m glad to know the fragrance consists of multiple delicious sweet and boozy nuances and hypnotic sexy woody trails. Sincerely thank you from the EU

It’s amazing how beautiful Notorious XO is, definitely Daniela Marty worked hard on it and turned her and M.Micallef “cognac cocktail on a  date” ideas into reality .
Olya Bar took his time to talk about the ingredients , the whole creative process , the Hennessy XO and poetic anatomy and not just how the fragrance smells , love it.
I’ve experienced a lot of gourmands, but nothing like M. Micallef Notorious XO with the influence of marine notes,  vanilla,  cinnamon , some romantic realities and sensuous references. I’m in possession of GNTONIC. Thanks to Olya Bar, and to M. Micallef for generously providing Notorious XO to one lucky reader.EU

Such a devotion , cherished memories at a table love ones , M.Micallef Notorious XO possesses lots of  enhancing the mood characteristics .
I liked the way Olya Bar underlines the fragrance is hedonistic and passionate aspects are well balanced with the more cozy college memories relying on vanilla , sandalwood and fancy drink like Hennessy XO . Considering the desirable features I’d say the fragrance has a character of its own.

Cafleurebon is the expert in niche fragrances , and since M.Micallef fragrances are available on the blog the excellent quality is guaranteed.
Notorious XO I find comforting and super attractive, the scent is absolutely unapologetic ode to “bon vivant” type of person who’s not afraid to eat delicious desserts , so smile , drink cognac and dance .
That’s how I’d describe the fragrance after reading Olya Bar evaluation. Big sensual parfum that celebrates basic desires without any rules or shame.
Some fragrances do more than smell beautiful – they speak to the heart , and Notorious XO absolutely speaks to me.

So nice, Olya Bar theme was quite evocative, and in in every sense of the way confirmed my beliefs that I need both love , a glass or two of Hennessy XO , passion , comfort , sophisticated fragrances and to go on a trip to France , and visit some cognac distillery .
To me quality niche perfumery is a must, but I like to know the background of the brand , perfumers too , I’m looking forward of future M.Micallef fragrances made by Daniela Marty.
They say “Every empty bottle is filled with stories” , I’d take delight in testing that theory with buying some cognac tomorrow and enjoying the taste. I love vanilla and cinnamon as well.
Notorious XO is a fragrance that speaks in a language of the person who likes to take his time and to enjoy life.
Other than Notorious XO I’m on board with all M.Micallef and Cafleurebon collaborations , thanks to the previous one I’ve sampled a few fragrances and bought Ma Nature .

Wow, what a wonderful review ! It truly transported me to a cozy Parisian lounge bar where everything is made by hand , and both cocktails and desserts are made by experienced bartenders and pastry chefs .
Notorious XO sounds absolutely wonderful and luxurious – that mix of vanilla , black pepper , sandalwood and big doses of cognac is just raw comfort in a bottle. I’ve always been a fan of Delice from M.Micallef – it’s such a lyrical fragrance with rose, plum , woods and spices, soft yet fruity and complex. It seems like Notorious XO even though with a different scent profile carries that same uplifting emotional core. I can’t wait to try it, especially in those days when I’d like to have a boozy and spicy cloud surrounding me.

Thank you for this detailed review of Notorious XO, as well as the liquor expert info about cognac.
Olya Bar showcased the way Daniela Marty brought depth and intensity to this fragrance , making it a graceful and boozy and woody counterpart to all the simplistic ultra sugary gourmands on the market.
The blend amber , sandalwood and Hennessy XO type of cognac sounds absolutely captivating—especially the interplay of sweet, woody and boozy. I’d love to whole deeper emotional interpretation of Notorious XO , and I’d like to experience the fragrance during Holidays holiday season myself. European Union

Such a nice surveying Olya Bar did on M.Micallef Notorious XO , I’m keen on her meticulousness .
Jumping in between flavorful , liquor , vanilla goods , variety of different spices and cognac connoisseur type of depictions was a treat i was not expecting . I’m pleased since I have a thing for Hennessy XO , vanilla , M.Micallef , as well as gourmand fragrances done in an unconventional manner. Note Vanillée Nectar and Delice are two exceptional M.Micallef gourmands i own , love them equally.

    Howdies people
I’m found of how Olya Bar decided to combine her deep understanding of cognac , M.Micallef catalog and specifically Jewel collection , with exquisite fragrance like Notorious XO in a singular experience for Cafleurebon readers , magnificent idea.
The right way to start is with the cognac , since I had no idea it’s a post-dinner liquor.
The pictures chosen, the first 2 even made by Olya are beautiful, it invoked a sense of inner peace and guilty boozy gourmand pleasures that the essay later on subsequently solidified.
Notorious XO core is woody , boozy , scrumptious, spicy and opulent. By Olya’s words alone I can tell she’s found of how the fragrance smells and the partially seductive, partially comforting message behind . You bet I’d love to win this gem . I don’t have my own M.Micallef fragrance , my girlfriend wears Ylang in Gold though.

Thank you Olya for the interesting read about M. Micallef’s new release! I have yet to try the Jewel line, but I do have Note Vanillée Nectar , and Ananda Tchai. The way you describe the scent of Notorious XO makes me feel just as uplifted and excited as I do with the other M. Micallef perfumes I own. They truly evoke a sense of joy, blending the artistry of the bottles with the beauty of the perfumes themselves. Through your review, you really helped me vividly imagine the experience of a boozy perfume I haven’t yet smelled. I have yet to explore perfumes with a spicy and boozy cognac note, especially one paired with gourmand elements like in Notorious XO. It sounds lovely! Greetings from EU.

Thank you for introducing me to “Notorious XO” , M.Micallef fragrances are in my to-try-list now . The fact that high class editor like Olya Bar said the fragrance after some time (and skin) it settles into a gourmand base of cognac accord, vanilla, and tonka bean, wrapped in a cocoon of sandalwood and amber… is just spectacular. It’s almost like Notorious XO invites you to drink in its layers, each note is unfolding is a great way. Very much a decadent gourmand with cognac , vanilla , woods and amber , an encounter for people who like to communicate with passion.EU

Such a lovely way to celebrate M.Micallef Jewel collection by not only reviewing NotoriousXO, but besides that introducing subscribers to cognac rituals , and the perfumer Daniela Marty . By doing so you highlighted the Notorious XO impact on the market , great idea!
I found Olya Bar introduction to Notorious XO intriguing, highlighting the originality of the composition and how realistic it is. The scent is blend of variety of spices like black pepper , cardamom and cinnamon , vanilla and cognac , everything smoothen up to perfection.
M.Micallef seems to have a lot of variety in what they offer , Notorious XO is a nice way to start exploring.

  • Such a soothing high class review !
No one would say no to M.Micallef bespoke creations, all blended with exquisite ingredients. Reading Olya Bar article article makes me want to try not just Notorious XO and Jewel line , but way more of M.Micallef offerings .
《The scent catches the breeze, swirling around you like vapors rising from a snifter cradled in gloved hands, intimate yet expansive, a portable hearth against the chill. It’s for those who crave rain-soaked woods and spiced depths with a boozy backbone: complex, yes, but surprisingly delicate in its enveloping hug. 》
Reading the essay made me think of how unique of a gourmand Notorious XO must be if Olya Bar can’t get enough of it.
I do own Aoud Gourmet, my favorite M.Micallef and thanks to Michelyn Camen and Redolessence collaboration last year i also sampled and ordered DESIRTOXIC L’INTENSE as well , however Notorious XO is a completely different fragrance than both , so boozy , delicious and enigmatic.I’m interested in the woody and spicy depth-the extra flavor of sea breeze i find enthralling . Once again I do anticipate a foundation of depth and complexity , Notorious XO is elaborate fragrance i’d really like to win.

  • I’m already a fan of M. Micallef — GNTONIC and DESIRTOXIC — and Notorious XO looks like another winner. I’ve been leaning into gourmands lately, and their vanilla and cognac is something I’d love to try.
Olya Bar review does a great job explaining the journey of the fragrance, from spicy and aromatic, to boozy and woody , even tad salty. Such a nice sense of balance.

  • Hennessy XO is an excellent inspiration for a boozy cold weather fragrance . The cinnamon and black pepper, combined with a bottle of cognac and creamy vanilla-amber -musk base sounds scrumptious. The sandalwood and the sea breeze seem to temper the overall sweetness.
I haven’t tried any M.Micallef perfumes, but Notorious XO sounds like a fun wear , and OMG that bottle is absolutely gorgeous! EU
