BDK Parfums Oud Paradisio (David Benedek and Jordi Fernández) 2026 +10th Anniversary Giveaway

BDK Parfums David Benedek Studio Collection

Founder and Creative Director David Benedek and Collection Studio BDK Parfums courtesy of the brand.

For the celebration of their tenth anniversary BDK Parfums has launched the new Collection Studio series, a trio of Absolu de Parfums (40% -48% concentration) with perfumer Jordi Fernández  interpreting David Benedek’s life-long relationship with fashion and textiles, highlighting three different materials used in haute couture. Fashion has always been an inspiration for David Benedek, creative director and founder of BDK Parfums, an early influence was his grandmother who dressed in the elegance of YSL and Courrèges, and he spent time in Marrakech and in his home city of Paris. Perfume is like clothing, in the way the scent moves adding that invisible layer by setting mood and tone. David Benedek chose silk, leather and metal for Jordi Fernandez to interpret in the new Collection Studio line.

Stellar Silk is a sleek opulent iris with creamy woods and resins. Silver Ceremony is summer glam with glistening citruses, flickering their sequined light over florals with a rich woody structure and BDK Parfums Oud Paradisio plays with darker tones of leather stained with a regal purple hue. The trio of Absolu de Parfums from the Collection Studio captures the luxury of high fashions materials and for me conjures images of French disco and the clubs of the 1970s, a time of Parisian chic. Something about the sumptuousness and quality of the ingredients: the fruits of Oud Paradisio– the glitter ball sequin citruses of Silver Ceremony and Stellar Silk’s sinuous iris elegance dancing to the music makes me think of Cerrone, Amanda Lear, Claude François and Patrick Hernandez’s music. The Collection Studio has that flow of space disco with its lavish orchestral string arrangements and heavy grooves, while its brighter melodies capture your nose and make you want to dance. Personally, I like the darkness of the dance floor where the disco lights illuminate the edges leaving shadows as the needle hits the groove.

There’s a touch of camp, in the best way to the trio, capturing that 70s’ vibe with darkness and light glinting with intense colours of the Parisian discotheques, but is never retro.

Oud Paradisio by BDK Parfums

J’s image of BDK Parfums Oud Paradisio

Bright citrus lights flash over dark forms as Oud Paradisio’s melody starts to play. It’s an explosive start with fresh green bergamot meeting a pineapple fruitiness, as cacao adds a light dusting of sweetness. It’s like the most delicious ice cream that slowly melts into a swirl of smoke. Typically, I find pineapple challenging in fragrances, but here, perfumer Jordi Fernández employs it deftly, foreshadowing the Thai oud that emerges in the base. A cocktail of tropical fruits with a dash of blackcurrant adds to the burst of bergamot. Somalia incense also teases out fresh greens while giving a sensuality to the composition, a gentle smokiness like the touch of leather gliding over your skin. BDK Parfums Oud Paradisio is giving opulence in the darkness of the club where extravagant, bejeweled costumes are reflecting the light as the rhythm intensifies, revealing glimpses of a leather-clad figure dancing in the shadows.

Oud Paradisio’s green incense slowly transitions into a floral lustre, as if roses are blooming on the dance floor. Honeyed aromas pick up on apple pie sweetness adding subtle pink hues to the growing dark purple leather oud. More velvety tones arrive as the high-end leather catches the light- spices and hints of tea flicker warmth as the fruity aromas grow deeper reminding me of baked apples and stone fruits which amplify the Thai oud. This rose feels abstract, deconstructed and swirls amidst the shades of purple leather, accentuating its edges as its silky petals gracefully move across the leather’s smooth texture. Oud Paradisio captures the exquisite tension between the rigid surface of leather and the delicate floral elements, creating a chiaroscuro effect in how it wears.

Earthy saffron enhances the deep leather shades while the pink rose illuminates its smooth lustre. It’s a high energy moment that beautifully intertwines with the rhythm. Subtle green facets add contrast to the darker hues of the base, as cacao forms the velvet nap of the leather’s reverse side, teasing out more sensual textures. A powdery creamy sensation envelops you with a gourmand twist, but in that well-balanced chic way of the French patisseries where things are never to sweet, just a perfect blend.

It’s in the final dry down where the oud of Oud Paradisio finally hits centre stage, Jordi Fernández cleverly enhancing its baked fruity facets- think apple pie and sour sweet tropical fruits all in one with a side of soft blonde aged woods.

The Thai oud has been lurking there all through the wear of Oud Paradisio and as the melody pulls away- the leather aromas and patchouli woody tones let the rhythm grow. Animalic touches tease those nearby in a flirty way, while its fruity sweeter side entices them from a distance, as creamy woods hook everyone into its powerful groove. Oud Paradisio is delicious to wear, never too cloying with its purple leather, spice and florals keeping it in check. Playful in that 70s’ disco way but remixed into the now as a leather jewel with Thai oud accentuating all the stunning facets. Oud Paradisio is like slipping into a sculpted high-end fashion piece that feels both sophisticated and joyful to wear as its deep purple hues shine like gems.

  • I love how the saffron and leather complement each other. I’d love to try this. I live in Colorado USA

What an interesting coincidence! Oud Paradisio features pineapple (ice cream) and I am eating some pineapple chunks right now, as I read the post/write this comment. I am starting to love pineapple, as a sweet treat, but unfortunately I have little to no experience with it when it comes to fragrances, but a combo of pineapple and oud sounds really good in my books! Fruity oudness! I am in the EU. Thanks!

J’s review of Oud Paradisio reminds me of a music critic dissecting a complex song through the opening, the chorus, the bridge and the outro/coda. I don’t know if this was intentional but it made for a fantastic review. I am in Texas USA

  • AromaAdventurer says:

J’s review transported me straight to a 1970s Parisian discotheque, and I never want to leave. What sparks my interest most is his framing of the entire BDK Collection Studio trio around “the darkness of the dance floor where the disco lights illuminate the edges leaving shadows as the needle hits the groove.” For Oud Paradisio specifically, he describes “bright citrus lights flashing over dark forms” with “opulence in the darkness of the club where extravagant, bejeweled costumes are reflecting the light as the rhythm intensifies, revealing glimpses of a leather-clad figure dancing in the shadows.” That tension between light and dark, between the bright pineapple and bergamot opening and the “deep purple leather oud” base, is exactly the kind of contrast I crave in a fragrance. The image of “roses blooming on the dance floor” with “honeyed aromas picking up on apple pie sweetness” while “the high-end leather catches the light” sounds like a symphony of textures and moods.

As someone who typically finds oud challenging, J’s review of Oud Paradisio gives me hope that there’s an interpretation I could fall in love with. What sparks my interest is his description of how “the Thai oud has been lurking there all through the wear” before finally hitting centre stage in the dry down, with Jordi Fernández “cleverly enhancing and tweaking its baked fruity facets, think apple pie and sour sweet tropical fruits all in one with a side of soft blonde aged woods.” The way the oud is “never too cloying” with “purple leather, spice and florals keeping it in check” sounds like the perfect balance. The pineapple note, which J admits he typically finds challenging, is “employed deftly, foreshadowing the Thai oud that emerges in the base.” And the image of slipping into “a sculpted high-end fashion piece that feels both sophisticated and joyful to wear as its deep purple hues shine like gems” makes me want to experience this leather oud jewel on my own skin. J’s connection of the BDK Collection Studio to French disco music of the 1970s—Cerrone, Amanda Lear, Claude François, Patrick Hernandez—is what sparks my interest most. He writes: “The Collection Studio has that flow of space disco with its lavish orchestral string arrangements and heavy grooves, while its brighter melodies capture your nose and make you want to dance.” The idea of a perfume that captures “a touch of camp, in the best way” with “darkness and light glinting with intense colours of the Parisian discotheques, but is never retro” sounds like pure joy in a bottle. For Oud Paradisio specifically, the opening is “explosive” with “fresh green bergamot meeting a pineapple fruitiness” and “cacao adding a light dusting of sweetness” that “slowly melts into a swirl of smoke.” The way the fragrance evolves from that bright, fizzy opening to a “powdery creamy sensation” with “a gourmand twist, but in that well-balanced chic way of the French patisseries where things are never too sweet” sounds absolutely divine. greetings from Germany, EU

  • J’s framing of the BDK Collection Studio around David Benedek’s “life-long relationship with fashion and textiles,” interpreting “silk, leather and metal” from haute couture, is what sparks my interest most. The concept of perfume as “like clothing, in the way the scent moves adding that invisible layer by setting mood and tone” is beautiful. For Oud Paradisio, the focus is on leather “stained with a regal purple hue.” J describes “the exquisite tension between the rigid surface of leather and the delicate floral elements, creating a chiaroscuro effect in how it wears.” The “abstract rose, deconstructed and swirling amidst the shades of purple leather, accentuating its edges as its silky petals gracefully move across the leather’s smooth texture” sounds like a fragrance with extraordinary depth and sophistication. The “earthy saffron enhancing the deep leather shades” and “cacao forming the velvet nap of the leather’s reverse side, teasing out more sensual textures” shows incredible attention to detail. This isn’t just a perfume; it’s a wearable piece of couture. EU

  • What stands out most about J’s review is how he transforms a fragrance review into a vivid, cinematic narrative. It doesn’t just list notes; it constructs a high-fashion, nocturnal world.
It’s almost like a chiaroscuro contrast. The review masterfully balances intense opposites. The tension between “bright citrus lights” and “dark forms,” or the “rigid surface of leather” against “delicate floral elements,” makes the fragrance feel dynamic and alive rather than stagnant.

Saying that im intrigued to sample the new releases

Oud Paradisio is a parfum level concentration that is an interpretation of a deep and rich violet purple leather. With an opening of a sparkling bergamot that evolves with the addition of delectable pineapple ice cream, saffron and incense, that evolves in the heart with Bulgarian and Turkish rose bringing a jammy, velvety, fruity quality. In the base, the rose deepens with the fruitiness and creaminess still present as cocoa appears adding a richness, depth and complexity while saffron underneath it all, brings out the leather accord. Oud Paradisio is a fruity, creamy and tropical treat with the quality of the natural ingredients elevating the composition, making it decadent yet wearable.

    Howdies people
I’m found of how J Wearescentient decided to combine three different reflections on Collection Studio BDK Parfums , one like a lush Paradise with pineapple, cassis ,smoke, ice-cream and different roses like Oud Paradisio and also exquisite oud , and two more Italian ones and classical like the iris and creamy woods in Stellar Silk , and the summer beauty called Silver Ceremony in a singular experience for the readers , nice idea.
Apparently Jordi Fernández is not just an established perfumer, and J Wearescentient is not just a reviewer because both have a soft spot for art and creativity.
Oud Paradisio is an elegant fragrance , where rose , cacao and ice-cream are present, on the flip side because of the oud and cassis also possesses both aged and a bit passionate personality. Special fragrance i’d cherish if I win.
I have no previous experience with BDK Parfums fragrances
    Million thanks EU

  • BDK has released two of my all-time favorite perfumes, one of which is a signature scent. I’m beyond excited to sample Oud Paradisio.

What sparks my interest is the combination of notes. Particularly the pineapple ice cream accord. Cocoa, oud, incense, rose… it all makes sense and then PINEAPPLE. Only a creative person would add that to the mix, but given the beauty of other fragrances both this perfumer and brand have released, I totally trust this will be incredible.

    I’m in the USA.

Sinse I love BDK Parfums, quality oud , drinking hot cocoa , roses and pineapple I’m glad I stumbled across your great “BDK 10th Anniversary” theme
It’s striking that floral, fruity and woody perfumes could go into such a different directions , from floral with green undertones , to sweet and woody, leathery and earthy, and we have the best of all worlds with BDK Parfums Oud Paradisio
Other than the good French connection with Oud Paradisio, what i enjoyed the most in J Wearescentient article is the natural and high quality raw materials , the hints of light and dark dreams and oud information, and how there’s all kinds of unique nuances in it.
Jordi Fernández picked up only the best ingredients available and with my experience with his work , and with the J Wearescentient contribution I believe I found one posh and sophisticated new fragrance
Rouge Smoking is my favorite BDK Parfums fragrance

I’m already a fan of BDK Parfums — Velvet Tonka i own and Stellar Silk , Silver Ceremony , Oud Paradisio are all winners . I’ve been leaning into unique oud lately , and their playful variety, fruits , smoke , amber and floral rosy veil fragrance and is something I’d love to try the most.
J Wearescentient review does a great job explaining the journey of the fragrance, from floral, fresh and aromatic, to ambery and woody , even tad dark and smoky . Such a nice sense of balance.
I live in the EU . And thanks to J Wearescentient and BDK Parfums for making this draw possible!

David Benedek’s life-long relationship with fashion and textiles, highlighting three different materials used in haute couture is an excellent inspiration for not one but three new spectacular fragrances . The delicious fruits , variety of roses combined with green nuances , Thai oud and creamy cacao-amber -musk base sounds exquisite. The oud and leather seem to temper the floral breeze in the drydown , perfumer Jordi Fernández did a great job .
I haven’t tried any BDK Parfums perfumes, but all
Stellar Silk , Silver Ceremony and Oud Paradisio sounds amazing scents to wear , and OMG that purple bottle is absolutely gorgeous! EU

  • I love France, fashion just as well as I love fragrances, and just when you think you know fruity and floral fragrances with oud and leather base, J Wearescentient and Perfumer Jordi Fernández come along to show how wrong you are.
Oud Paradisio is not just a high quality ingredients beauty in the vain of a fragrance that already exists, absolutely not ! BDK Parfums and Jordi Fernández have built unorthodox fragrance from ground zero , admirable approach. Even J Wearescentient was caught off guard by Collection Studio line novelty smells .
The leather , Thai oud , pineapple together with the roses combination comes as a gentle reminder of how there are still brands like BDK Parfums and perfumers like Jordi Fernández who still possess imagination, and value inventiveness.

BDK Parfums has been releasing gems lately, one after another and all Stellar Silk , Silver Ceremony , Oud Paradisio seems to be high karat diamonds .
I stumbled across BDK Parfums on a open air party last year but I’m so glad I did , since I had to ask the guy next to me what was his SOTN – Vanille Caviar . Now the fragrance is a staple of mine.
I have a penchant for high grade fragrances of different kinds , from gourmands, , to smoky and woody, fruity-florals , leathery etc , i like them all. J Wearescentient examination of Stellar Silk , Silver Ceremony and Oud Paradisio fascinated me , the new fragrances are so posh , and the flacons are truly beautiful.
The Thai oud, leather , cassis, green notes are welcomed departure from the dozens of the typical fruity and floral fragrances with woody base . Oud Paradisio is so exquisite and original , the main reason I’m so intrigued.
The subtle dark incense , different roses and cacao do bring quite a lot to the table , exactly the table I’d like to sit in.
    Thank you very much

  • I love the idea of oud that isn’t just heavy and dark, but mixed with bright tropical fruits and citrus at the start, which feel juicy and a bit sparkling rather than dense, developing into something richer with incense, leather and rose, which sounds like it would feel warm, slightly edgy, and quite sensual without being overwhelming. The baked fruit and apple pie facets in the dry down sound delicious, and Oud Paradisio sounds all in all rich, atmospheric and definitely striking.
    Thanks, from the EU.

What more to ask? Made by perfumer Jordi Fernández exotic cocktail with red berries and cassis , vanilla , spices , variety of different roses , leather , exceptional materials and special oud ! I love the new look on the bottles with vibrant colors matching the new Studio Collection, and i love this house , Gris Charnel i own.
I also love this specific semi French and semi tropical qualities , and i find interesting the whole adventurous yet intoxicating atmosphere of Oud Paradisio . Thanks for the opportunity to win such a novelty fragrance , the other two from the line Stellar Silk and Silver Ceremony I’d like to try as well. Also thanks to J Wearescentient for the vivid reviews.

This fruity oudy scent sounds so creative with the addition of pineapple ice cream accord. The whole new BDK collection trio sound great. From EU.

  • Ooh we are talking about true extrait! 40% -48% concentration is nothing to sneeze at! So many sound amazing, the iris with resins sounds like my jam but I do love a beautiful oud. Somalian Incense and Thai Oud have both been gorgeous in other blends I’ve tried. The purple color is beautiful too. I am in the U.S.

  • A green incense transitioning to a purple leather can only mean that this is the incredible hulk of the BDK lineup! I love pretty much every note listed here. Pineapple ice cream accord sounds delicious and makes me realize I’ve never had a pineapple ice cream so we’re putting that on the list of things to seek out. Rose, saffron, cocoa, and oud to round things out and it’s a Jordi Fernández creation? Sounds like a winner to me. I’m hoping to get a whiff of this one! I’m in the USA.

  • BDK Parfums I discovered mainly thanks to Redolessence and Cafleurebon , Tabac Rose i had no other option but to buy it on the first day i received my sample , thank you guys . Based on what I read about Collection Studio and Stellar Silk , Silver Ceremony , Oud Paradisio I’m intrigued once again.
J’s review really paints a picture of the 3 intricate fragrances . What really grabbed me in his review was Oud Paradisio extensive journey. The way it starts with a blend of green and fresh citruses , goes through different roses , leather feel, and pineapple feel with a bit of incense , and finishes with rich Thai oud , baked fruity facets and sensuality , I’m keen on that.
I also love the David Benedek’s life-long relationship with fashion and textiles, highlighting three different materials used in haute couture inspiration behind all Stellar Silk , Silver Ceremony and Oud Paradisio.
With Oud Paradisio perfumer Jordi Fernández was able to achieve the perfect balance between floral, leathery and fruty-sweet and woody on one part, and comfort and originality on another. Depending on J experience with the fragrance I’m convinced Oud Paradisio is a very special fragrance with lots of depth, and unique character

BDK Parfums is a really reputable fragrance house, and since I own the famous when it comes to tonka bean fragrances Velvet Tonka , I always look forward for their new releases.
Collection Studio line has everything a good fragrances should have – all are complex, original and long lasting.
I love the Thai oud, rose , leather, delicious sweet tropical fruits , I’m positive that perfumer Jordi Fernández work is splendid.
Oud Paradisio aroma is not just fruity-sweet and floral , it’s also woody and leathery , with a touch of the France and some exotic patisseries as well.
I feel like when creating Oud Paradisio Jordi Fernández took the more playful and flamboyant French character , and adding calmness and delicate islanders traits resulted in a perfect versatile scent .

The brand of BDK Parfums i know thanks to Cafleurebon older articles . Since I’m a big pineapple, rose and Thai oud fan I became interested in Oud Paradisio with the added by Jordi Fernández electric spirit, incense and leather , i need to order samples of the new Studio Collection .
I often think of how Olya Bar once said perfumes can trigger past memories and forge future ones, Oud Paradisio instantly triggered J Wearescentient good times memories , trips to France , bowls of juicy fruits, velvety warmth, variety of different roses , some cassis and blonde woods . No doubt he’ll keep forging a lot of new ones with the complex aroma of the fragrance.
Scent profile has a lot favorite notes of mine, let alone how Oud Paradisio has leather , rose a bit of incense running through it , exquisite pleasure I’d love to win.
Thank you very much BDK Parfums and David Benedek , and special thanks to J Wearescentient for the hard work

    Splendid presentation by J Wearescentient!
I’ve smelled most BDK Parfums fragrances out of which I own Velvet Tonka , and J Wearescentient written reviews of Collection Studio convinced me I should try all available releases.
Stellar Silk , Silver Ceremony , Oud Paradisio form a perfect trio , offering both an immediate sensory impression and deep, personal insight of French high end discotheques.
What I enjoyed the most is how J not only reviewed Oud Paradisio, but also shared his complementary perspectives in the other two perfumes , Stellar Silk and Silver Ceremony.
It’s worth noting that J Wearescentient perfectly captures the mood of each fragrance, and rightfully so paid homage to Jordi Fernández work. Most captivating fragrances today according to my perspective are Stellar Silk and Oud Paradisio
Who doesn’t want uplifting iris dominant fragrance like Stellar Silk with resins and woods in his collection? I sure do.
Oud Paradisio is exceptionally evocative. This beautiful creation proves niche scents can be about powerful individuality, originality and sophistication, and not just cliché floral-fruity and woody sweetness. I’m very much found of the whole package with the incense , blonde woods and the ice-cream aspect .
I am from the EU and would be delighted to win Oud Paradisio

There’s nothing basic on Cafleurebon , the fragrances and the fragrance information here are multidimensional every single time.
I’ve been to France multiple times, I’d gladly have a trip again with the latest Collection Studio project by David Benedek.
Jordi Fernández and BDK Parfums set the bar, really … really high with some exquisite French clubs, Thai oud, leather and fruity-floral and woody structure of Oud Paradisio is spectacular.
I know niche fragrances and with the fearsome competitiveness on the market i need something to really grab my attention, and BDK Parfums Oud Paradisio high quality raw materials, mouthwatering fruits and French party connections, oud-rose leather aroma too melding with the dark incense did the trick for me.
Through Oud Paradisio I can book a flight to France, whiteout actually being there. You can’t beat that
To my taste Gris Charnel Extrait is the best BDK Parfums fragrance

I had seen the bottles making the rounds online but was not aware of what inspired them or how they came to be. At first glance I have to agree that these bottles are slick and do give that Extrait feeling to them. The sort of monochromatic pattern each one has representing a color also adds to the exclusivity of this new studio collection. The Oud Paradisio one, although the darkest of the 3, has that deep purple hue that adds a layer of mystery. At the end it’s an Oud fragrance as the name implies but with a few surprising notes such as the pineapple and the trio of roses. I’d love to try the entire collection obviously but I can see a glimpse of light amongst the obscurity of all the other notes. After all, it’s Oud in paradise! I’m located in the US (NJ).

  • My.Fragrance.Rituals says:

It seems like Cafleurebon reviews are always so captivating, J Wearescentient take on BDK Parfums Collection Studio collection is so detailed. He’s committed to describe each scent, the breakdown of the notes and in Oud Paradisio particular case, how each of the purple leather, spices , delicious pineapple ice-cream and oud from Thailand fits the special atmosphere of the French party scene.
Stellar Silk and Silver Ceremony descriptions comes as a welcome completion, talking more about the general style of the fragrances.
Personally I find both Oud Paradisio delightful . I especially liked the comparison to apple pie, velvet nap , and the way the perfumer Jordi Fernández was able to blend perfectly contrasting notes like roses , pineapple , cassis, incense and leather.
Stellar Silk is sophisticated as well, even though a completely different type of fragrance , more easy going and gentle with iris and delicate woody characteristics.

Everything about this new Collection Studio by BDK Parfums sounds irresistible! Oud Paradisio blend of pineapple ice-cream , saffron and blonde woods over different roses feels like a dream pairing, and the addition of oud and incense notion is such a fascinating twist—I don’t recall seeing it used elsewhere. The bottle itself is stunning, and I’ve been eyeing BDK Parfums for a while, so Oud Paradisio might just be the perfect first purchase. I really appreciate how J detailed each layer of the fragrance so beautifully. Sending thanks from the EU

I mean come on. This is BDK Parfums. I love how Thomas de Monaco’s whole world feels intentional and cinematic. The descriptions of iridescent light, soft focus tuberose, sparkling pink pepper, and airy musks make Luisant Haze sound less like a perfume and more like an atmosphere you step into. That “watercolor tuberose” concept especially grabbed me because I usually appreciate tuberose more when it’s diffused, luminous, and modern instead of overly loud or heavy.
I’m also intrigued by the contrast between sweetness and restraint. The strawberry, cotton candy, and bubblegum facets sound playful, but the way the review describes Safraleine and Amber Xtreme keeping everything structured makes it feel sophisticated instead of juvenile. Honestly, the whole thing sounds like wearable art with a futuristic glow. I’m from New Jersey, USA

  • TheScentedPage says:

Having danced at many a European disco, J’s description of the atmosphere and fragrance notes is evocative. I agree that pineapple can be a challenge, but it reads as though Oud Paradisio deftly avoids the pina colada problem, “…with its purple leather, spice, and florals keeping it in check.” The Thai Oud seems to ground this perfume, while still aligning with the other sweet and floral notes.

    Hey there
The unique merging of few different types of roses , the density of the oud , hints of incense , leather and a bowl of fruits and cacao are the most appealing sides of BDK Parfums Oud Paradisio, such an alluring fragrance. I’m expecting an intoxicating haze that came as a result of Jordi Fernández merging.
I’m all for creativity, originality, using great raw materials . Also no one can deny BDK Parfums bottles are well made pieces of art .
There are three equally as great BDK Parfums fragrances Tabac Rose , Gris Charnel Extrait and Rouge Smoking. On second thought maybe Tabac Rose is the best BDK Parfums , but it’s close.

  • Just by reading the article I visualized the exact same moment when J Wearescentient sprayed Stellar Silk , Silver Ceremony and Oud Paradisio on skin for the first time , I can almost see the delightfulness in his eyes .
There are other niche brands with luxurious boxes and bottles, what differentiate BDK Parfums is the fact that they actually deliver upscale refined fragrances as well .
Personally I’ve never smelled woody fruity-floral fragrance with green undertones , incense , leather and rose , kudos for the idea.
I like all kinds of fragrances , but especially the more daring that smell like a sensual trip to France , or maybe Caribbean atoll , I’m so excited about Oud Paradisio.
I also like how J included extra information about Stellar Silk and Silver Ceremony , the whole Collection Studio is so sophisticated in a grown up manner

  • Once again all the Cafleurebon information delivered by J Wearescentient made me wonder, and think for a moment

“.. The trio of Absolu de Parfums from the Collection Studio captures the luxury of high fashions materials and for me conjures images of French disco and the clubs of the 1970s, a time of Parisian chic.. . ”
Where I should even start with this time ?!? Should I start with J passion for creative fragrances , the level of sophistication and unique smell of all BDK Parfums fragrances , Jordi Fernández being the perfumer of Collection Studio ?
The comforting pineapple ice-cream and blonde woods , the leather, incense profile , or maybe the emotional connection with the French nightlife , all are equally as important for the forming of Oud Paradisio identity .
Thanks to J I know Oud Paradisio is just great , showing up the true elegance and boldness of niche perfumery .
    EU Cheers

J work with Collection Studio by BDK Parfums is like invading the senses partially French and partially tropical poetic invitation. It’s always nice when I watch or read a fragrance review that’s not focused solely on how the fragrance smells, or the compliment factor.
BDK Parfums , the Founder and Creative Director David Benedek , Perfumer Jordi Fernández and J Wearescentient share affection for art and craftsmanship. I believe doesn’t matter the genre a fragrance it needs to not only smell great, but to be different and not influenced by other successful brands.
Oud Paradisio is is piece of art elegant fragrance inspired by the Parisian chic and sisco clubs with delicious desserts and ripe fruits , leather and oud , ,still not overly sweet profile and a big bouquet of roses .
J work is spectacular , I need to order BDK Parfums full sample set since I’ve only smelled the awesome Gris Charnel
Thank you for the draw EU

  • My favorite from the line is Gris Charnel, closely followed by Creme de Cuir. I tried almost their entire offerings are the quality is remarkable! Very versatile fragrances, easy to like and easy to wear! I am curious about this new approach in the Collection Studio with very high oil concentration.

  • Happy 10th-anniversary to BDK Parfums
I’m familiar with the brand and Jordi Fernández work , Collection Studio Stellar Silk , Silver Ceremony and Oud Paradisio i need to try as soon as possible.
Stellar Silk sounds so cozy though, Silver Ceremony is versatile and uplifting. The variety of roses and the lively touches of fruits are giving Oud Paradisio a contemporary spin. The fragrance really leaves a tempting fruity-floral and woody trail behind and is a perfect match for the days I’d like to wear something tempting. I guess Jordi Fernández re-imagined the genre and turned it into a indulgent perfume by adding incense, pineapple ice-cream, Parisian nightlife atmosphere, then named the fragrance Oud Paradisio. As usual the whole presentation is top notch .
I’ve been a BDK Parfums fan for a very long time, such great brand, big fan of Gris Charnel and Pas Ce Soir Extrait , I know a few other fragrances, but not the the brand’s latest editions .
Thanks to all involved , @jonathan.finley.barber

Can’t even image what this magical potion smells like…

Love J’s vivid descriptions, especially Oud Paradisio is like slipping into a sculpted high-end fashion piece that feels both sophisticated and joyful to wear as its deep purple hues shine like gems., delicious to wear, never too cloying with its purple leather, spice and florals keeping it in check.

J Wearescentient Collection Studio from BDK Parfums list described not one , but three perfect scents that invoke the spirit of the 70s bars and clubs in Paris. It’s worth noting that there’s no overlap between the fragrances , because there’s a little bit of everything for every clubbers out there.
Stellar Silk is pure tranquility in a bottle , Silver Ceremony is a hot summer time dream; Oud Paradisio a flirty indulgent and seductive scent , the wonder by the perfumer Jordi Fernández ticks the box of all the people who like to go out at night. I really like the fact that Oud Paradisiodoesn’t lean on the floral , fruity, woody or gourmand sides way too much and is also a passionate, sophisticated and elegant choice for those that want more. These are the standouts from the list for me. I would love to try Oud Paradisio thanks to the entertaining in a Parisian way scent profile, the review and the addition of apple pie and deep purple hue . I reside in the European Union

Great article and reviews ! I love the way J compared all 3 beautiful fragrance to the nightlife of Paris in the 70s .
I’m curious about the classy appeal of Stellar Silk and Silver Ceremony , even more so on the seductive rose , leather, cocoa and delicious pineapple in Oud Paradisio , true juxtaposition of classic and modern if you ask me . I really love good Thai oud , cassis and leather nuances and this sounds so interesting, mixing current and past. The notes also sound wonderful!
I love and own Gris Charnel and enjoy greatly David Benedek vision with help of which Oud Paradisio was crafted by Jordi Fernández

Celebrating BDK anniversary here on the blog ? Nice
I love top quality ingredients , perfumer Jordi Fernández , and from Collection Studio i’m anticipating trio of spectacular fragrances, aromas I’ve never encountered before.
The article revealed a lot , from the bold approach of Oud Paradisio , to the cozy Stellar Silk , to the classy Silver Ceremony.
Jordi Fernández made Oud Paradisioso addictive , like a bridge between French 70s party scene atmosphere, apple pie and soft blonde woods , not an easy task I believe. He added a bit of playful demeanor to Oud Paradisioso as well.
Thanks to BDK Parfums , David Benedek , J Wearescentient and best of luck to all participants

Today, I’m wearing Nostos by ELDO and I was like wait…didn’t Jordi Fernandez created it?
Reading J’s thoughts, Oud Paradisio looks like a fun perfume which “is delicious to wear, never too cloying with its purple leather, spice and florals keeping it in check” would be a great addition to an oud fan like myself. The concentration is crazy, I guess it would be oily like Profumum Roma and the aesthetic of the bottle is top notch!
    Thanks, I’m in the EU.

  • What sparks my interest most about J’s review is how it transforms Oud Paradisio into a multi-sensory cinematic experience by viewing haute couture through the lens of 1970s French space disco. Rather than just listing notes, J masterfully employs a sense of visual chiaroscuro to capture the play of light and shadow, visualizing a leather-clad figure moving beneath flashing, sequined citrus lights. The review perfectly deconstructs how contrasting elements balance each other, showing how a deft touch of pineapple foreshadows the baked-fruit facets of Thai oud, while cacao forms the velvety reverse side of a regal purple leather. By blending lavish musical energy with smoky incense and abstract florals, J brilliantly illustrates how a fragrance can wear less like a standard perfume and more like a fluid, wearable piece of art.

I reside in the United States.

  • Howdy everyone
With the stressful times we’re iving in I very much enjoy the way Cafleurebon and J Wearescentient invites us to more cozy and brighter atmosphere experience with the BDK Parfums 10th Anniversary article.
Lots of different sweet, tad playful , woody , floral , and delicious memories in the 3 bottles , versatile combination in a list you don’t see everyday. Considering the warm characteristics i tend to believe , with J help that smelling the whole Collection Studio , but especially Stellar Silk and Oud Paradisio no doubt transcends the ordinary Parisian party time experiences.
Jordi Fernández was able to put sweet , fruity , woody and comforting floral traits in one basket , while having full support by David Benedek , i’m interested in Oud Paradisio pineapple ice-cream, Thai oud, leather and rose blend .
Other than Oud Paradisio I’m sure I’d enjoy Stellar Silk thanks to the sophisticated iris and woods, and Silver Ceremony thanks to how versatile it is.
I’m intrigued by BDK Parfums a lot
    Thanks , UK

It’s interesting how BDK Parfums essay and J approach invoked the best of the best of the different aspects of the 3 fragrances, and I’m loving it.There are nods to clubbing in Paris , vitality, passion , desire , coziness yet Jordi Fernández added big doses of originality and comfort.
I love the sleek iris and woods in Stellar Silk, the summer glam in Silver Ceremony and Oud Paradisio overall smoothness and richness. Thanks to J I feel scented now with one beautiful sweet woody, fruity and floral fragrance
Oud Paradisio nuanced profile is both inviting, fully original and delicious, thanks

  • The Thai oud has been lurking there all through the wear of Oud Paradisio and as the melody pulls away- the leather aromas and patchouli woody tones let the rhythm grow.

Notes: Bergamot Green From Italy Orpur ™, Pineapple Ice Cream Accord, Somalia Incense Essence Orpur ™, Ebelia™, Pomarose™, Saffron Accord, Trio of Rose, Rosyfolla ™, Mahonail ™, Petila ™, Cocoa Absolute Orpur™, Thai Oud Essence. A beautiful piece really intrigued by the Thai oud, leather, spices and florals. Thanks a million from the UK

  • It’s in the final dry down where the oud of Oud Paradisio finally hits centre stage, Jordi Fernández cleverly enhancing its baked fruity facets- think apple pie and sour sweet tropical fruits all in one with a side of soft blonde aged woods. Absolutely stunning description this sounds amazing. Thanks a lot from the UK

I like how the BDK 10th Anniversary list consists of 3 sophisticated, perfectly suited for different occasions and characters fragrances.
Stellar Silk is more laid back , Silver Ceremony warm weather suited, and with Oud Paradisio I have a feeling Jordi Fernández had a plan to make a sophisticated woody fruity-floral with subtle sweetness , smoke and leather fragrance , and result could be seen through every aspect of J review.
Oud Paradisio is so sophisticated, perfectly suited fragrance for chill moments but because of the tempting trail also for clubbing, maybe even dates. David Benedek and Jordi Fernández made one spectacular fragrance with tribute to the French disco and clubs
Not sorely because I feel attracted to the ice-cream and pineapple, I actually enjoy the whole thing, the roses , Thai oud , cassis and the Parisian wink.

Happy Anniversary to BDK Parfums and their supporters on Cafleurebon
Beautifully curated list , I very much enjoyed to opening since J words in the intro are truly evocative, capturing the essence of memories and emotions that many of us can relate to. I’m taking about going out, having fun with friends and love ones, and in general enjoying life.
In my opinion Stellar Silk and Silver Ceremony are both soothing fragrances. J framing of Oud Paradisio as “BDK Parfums Oud Paradisio is giving opulence in the darkness of the club where extravagant, bejeweled costumes are reflecting the light as the rhythm intensifies, revealing glimpses of a leather-clad figure dancing in the shadows..” i imagine is rooted in specific hedonistic and decadent memories he already had , and new she intend to forge with the help of the fragrance.
All beautifully aligns with the irresistible emotional spectrum of Oud Paradisio, high end sweet fruity-floral with premium quality Thai oud, saffron and incense profile. Surely I’d like to win a bottle

    Bless you

  • The review by J has a highly evocative style, drawing rich links between the sensory experience of a fragrance and the rhythmic energy of music.

This draft highlights those specific themes to create an engaging response for the comment section:

What sparks my interest most about J’s review is how he transforms the fragrance journey into a vivid, musical experience. Framing the BDK Collection Studio around the lavish string arrangements and heavy grooves of 1970s French space disco is such a brilliant, creative perspective.

For Oud Paradisio specifically, the contrast between the high-energy “glitter ball” opening of bergamot and pineapple ice cream, and the deep “purple leather oud” darkness of the dance floor sounds absolutely mesmerizing. I love how he describes the abstract, deconstructed rose swirling amidst the leather to create a chiaroscuro effect. It makes the perfume sound like an atmospheric piece of wearable couture with incredible depth.

I am based in the Netherlands (EU) and would love to experience this powerful groove on my skin. Thank you for the wonderful review and giveaway!

  • wonderscent.mari says:

Beautiful review of an apparently beautiful perfume! I feel transported back to the 70s’ Parisian discotheques and experience the pulse of the dance floor where extravagant meet fashion and grooving in the rhythm of a wonderful narcotic atmosphere.
I love fragrances that paint a scene!
What sparks my interest the most is the fruity playful aroma of pineapple melting slowly in a velvety carpet of seductive roses dancing in the rhythm of disco music, while the oud maintains a sense of movement in the entire wear without being heavy and opulent.
I especially liked J’s descriptions of Oud Paradisio “is giving opulence in the darkness of the club where extravagant, bejeweled costumes are reflecting the light as the rhythm intensifies, revealing glimpses of a leather-clad figure dancing in the shadows”, “Oud Paradisio is like slipping into a sculpted high-end fashion piece that feels both sophisticated and joyful to wear as its deep purple hues shine like gems”.
It sounds incredibly unique and captivating.
I’d be thrilled to experience this fragrance and celebrate the moment with style. Thank you J for this great review and the generous giveaway!

  • What sparks my interest most is the contrast between the bright pineapple ice cream accord and the deep purple leather oud. J’s review makes Oud Paradisio feel like a glamorous 70s Paris disco wrapped in smoke, roses, saffron and velvet shadows. The mix of fruity sweetness, incense and Thai oud sounds bold, luxurious and impossible to forget.

  • Nice review, Mr. J! One of the things that surprises me about the new Collection Studio series and the trio of perfumes created by Jordi Fernandez is their beastly concentration: 40%-48%! Wow! This haut couture collection, Oud Paradisio, takes leather as its motif. Mr. Fernandez never stops working and has already given us glimpses of his mastery. A fruity opening with pineapple as the protagonist (recently it was passionfruit) gives way to a floral with rose as a delicate and abstract intermediary to the leather with the usual suspects (saffron & pink pepper) and a majestic Thai oud, animalic and sophisticated but not overpowering. Looking forward to smelling it, I congratulate BDK on its tenth anniversary. I live in Spain, EU.

  • Ensorceler says:

What pulls me into J’s review is how it turns Oud Paradisio into a living scene rather than just a scent, it feels like stepping into a shadowy Paris disco where light flickers across leather, fruit, and smoke. The imagery of that purple-tinted leather and the way notes move like dancers makes everything feel textured and cinematic, not static. I especially love the tension he captures between sweetness and darkness, it gives the fragrance a rhythm that feels seductive, fluid, and alive, like something meant to be experienced in motion rather than simply smelled.

  • Oud is my favorite perfumery ingredient, and I especially lie when it is used with less traditional notes like green-fresh or bright fruits. Hence, the contrasts between tropical-bright and leathery-dark that J described really caught my attention! I live in Indiana

  • I decided to share my takeaway about the lovely way you presented BDK Parfums 10th Anniversary , since it’s important to me

“ For the celebration of their tenth anniversary BDK Parfums has launched the new Collection Studio series, a trio of Absolu de Parfums (40% -48% concentration) with perfumer Jordi Fernández interpreting David Benedek’s life-long relationship with fashion and textiles, highlighting three different materials used in haute couture. Fashion has always been an inspiration for David Benedek, creative director and founder of BDK Parfums, an early influence was his grandmother who dressed in the elegance of YSL and Courrèges, and he spent time in Marrakech and in his home city of Paris.”
It’s interesting that I developed my affinity for oud and rose fragrances with slightly gourmandish aspects recently , especially those with fun and playful attitude like Oud Paradisio
Late June I’ll be in Paris for a craft exhibition , and I may very well explore the local clubbing scene … exactly what came to mind when I read about Oud Paradisio.
Quite a complex fragrance , directly influenced by both roses , tropical fruits , blonde woods , incense and oud . I imagine the inscrutable opulent nature of the fragrance Jordi Fernández created. Oud Paradisio It’s not just the great smelling aroma , multiple temptations are offered as well.
    Much appreciated. From EU

There are so many aspects to mention in these BDK Parfums lists by J , here are just a few that I’ve had my eye on. I’m very interested in Stellar Silk as I have been on the hunt for the “right” soothing iris fragrance , I believe this may be it.
Oud Paradisio has a chance to steal my heart, I’ll have to find it to sniff it before purchase. I particularly like how David Benedek and Jordi Fernández decided to go into floral, regal and woody direction since i don’t have such “apple pie” fragrance . The alluring , party guy feel of the fragrance is coming from the roses , pineapple ice-cream and leather, and I’m loving it. David Benedek and Jordi Fernández delved into new territory with Oud Paradisio, big respect for the final result.
I have all kind of genuine wishes to David Benedek and BDK Parfums , and Oud Paradisio seems to be the right fragrance for me ✅

Judging by the provided details i tend to believe all fragrances in the Collection Studio line are fully original , all made by famous perfumer like Jordi Fernández and I’m loving it.
J surprised me with the sleek iris tip , I was not expecting the coziness of Stellar Silk .
Oud Paradisio doesn’t go all the way into syrupy juvenile gourmand, or super funky leather and Thai oud no , and that’s a good thing. I’m familiar with BDK Parfums and Jordi Fernández , he really knows how to work with the sweet , floral , woody and musky notes to make a complex and beguiling fragrance instead. It’s the subtle musky cassis , the pineapple and cacao make the difference. I share J sentiment that this scent very well resembles a sculptured high-end fashion piece . The bottle is also quite the artwork itself reminding you to wear it every chance you get. What a treat Oud Paradisio is ! I’m located in the EU.

  • Absolutely nothing I read about this fragrance was what I expected from the name. I thought dark and moody, not pineapple, cacao, and rose. 70’s disco at its best, I guess! In Maryland.

  • What sparked my interest most in J’s review was the contrast between the playful gourmand touches and the darker leather-oud structure underneath. Pineapple ice cream, cacao, incense and Thai oud honestly sounds like a combination that should clash, yet the review makes it sound smooth, atmospheric and strangely addictive. I also liked the description of the fragrance feeling like flashes of light in a dark 70s Parisian club instead of just another heavy oud scent. The idea of a fruity oud with smoky, leathery depth rather than syrupy sweetness really caught my attention. Based in Romania, EU.

I really appreciated how J highlighted the emotional range Silver Ceremony , Silver Ceremony and Oud Paradisio fragrances can express—from the fizzy Summer celebration of Silver Ceremony, to the elegant iris softness of Stellar Silk and the bold confidence of Oud Paradisio . Your passion for fragrance is contagious, and it’s fascinating to learn how notes like juicy fruits, rose, leather, incense and cacao can both contrast and complement one another. I live in the EU , and I’d love the chance to wear Oud Paradisio—it sounds like a powerful, radiant take on disco scene of the 70s , i would feel delighted every time I reach for it.

    Hello from UK
All nuances of BDK Parfums Collection Studio journey do have a familiar tune . I love the whole thing – the atmosphere, the reviews, the 3 fragrances , and I’m I’m on the same page about re-creating 70s disco atmosphere in Paris.
In Stellar Silk I really like the upscale iris , Silver Ceremony screams “summer is here”. Quite a lot of superlatives about Oud Paradisio coming from J, it’s obvious that he’s so impressed by the sophistication of the fragrance, the balance between ingredients , medley of pineapple ice-cream, delicate roses , incense and leather . I like the extravagant charm of the fragrance.
Oud Paradisio is an olfactory journey that captures the essence of the luxury disco clubs, with delicious treats on the side. Other than its mesmerizing scent profile I’d love to win Oud Paradisio based on J sterling work and my previous experiences with BDK Parfums, delighted owner of Gris Charnel Extrait + Ambre Safrano. I’m envisioning excellence once again
    Thank you so much

The intro by J is so well put! Who knew David Benedek other than founder and Creative Director of BDK Parfums do have life-long relationship with fashion and textiles?
BDK fragrances i know are all high quality , i was expecting Collection Studio to follow the same path, Jordi Fernández is a master perfumer , I’m sure she came with a beautiful spin of 70s disco theme. No doubt both he and David Benedek profoundly enjoyed designing all Stellar Silk , Silver Ceremony and Oud Paradisio , and are happy of the outcome.
The idea of adding cassis , leather and incense to delicious fruits, rose with ice-cream running through it , only comes to show the creative parts of Jordi Fernández and David Benedek characters. Powerful and enigmatic fragrances ,with lots of twists i love. BDK Perfumes Gris Charnel i own and I have to say winning Oud Paradisio would be a very special experience.

I like how BDK Parfums article represent both the classic elements of the 70s bars, clubs and patisseries in Paris , but also showing the brightness of the future.
I appreciate the article since it helped me stay in touch with BDK Parfums latest releases brought to life by talented perfumer like Jordi Fernández.
I wonder how good of a fragrance Oud Paradisio if it’s recommended by Cafleurebon, and made by Jordi Fernández?
He made its fun side shine bright with gourmand , woody and floral facets , thickens up the feeling of enjoying a disco party , with leather adding some playful undertones to this exelance. As J Wearescentient said, Oud Paradisio feels both sophisticated and joyful to wear as its deep purple hues shine like gems, Love that! EU

Well structured fragrance episode , I like the more joyous overall experience I just had. I learned about BDK Parfums , as well as 3 high-quality fragrances .
Easy going iris fragrance like Stellar Silk i like too, not to mention distinct and complex scent of Oud Paradisio. My personal final flourish is the harmony Jordi Fernández was able to achieve between between tasty, decadent and disco party elements.
[ Animalic touches tease those nearby in a flirty way, while its fruity sweeter side entices them from a distance, as creamy woods hook everyone into its powerful groove. Oud Paradisio is delicious to wear, never too cloying with its purple leather, spice and florals keeping it in check… ]

There’s a famous disco song that states
“You should be dancin’, yeah! Dancin’, yeah!” – Bee Gees, You Should Be Dancin’
It’s easy to say David Benedek and Jordi Fernández believe the same thing . The beautiful article is the evidence , being the result of their collaboration.
Even though Stellar Silk and Silver Ceremony are very nice , the one fragrance I’m exited the most today is Oud Paradisio. I’m fascinated by the love affair between the delicious sweet pineapple , ice-cream and apple pie from one angle, and the more seductive cassis, leather and rose on another. The intricate layering of palatable and comfy , fun even flirtatious , plus the subtle Parisian disco grace do make Oud Paradisio sound enchanting and multifaceted.
    Thanks a lot EU

Happy 10th-anniversary to BDK Parfums and David Benedek
Taking into consideration my impressions of the awesome fashion, textiles and disco intro, and the uplifting resonances and authenticity as foundations of the article I’d like to thank Michelyn Camen and J Wearescentient for the splendid work first. I had to check Impadia article too since I’m not familiar with the fragrance…
Given that Rouge Smoking Extrait is my fave , and David Benedek complex and dedicated nature is very much similar to mine I’d like to say I’m thankful for the chance of winning Oud Paradisio. The tangy tropical fruits , the roses , blonde woods and cassis are setting the bar so high for all uplifting nighttime suited fragrances . The leather and incense aspect are riveting new additions too .
Jordi Fernández did a marvelous work with Oud Paradisio , absolutely breathtaking
    Many thanks , UK

“It’s in the final dry down where the oud of Oud Paradisio finally hits centre stage, Jordi Fernández cleverly enhancing its baked fruity facets- think apple pie and sour sweet tropical fruits all in one with a side of soft blonde aged woods. ”
J Wearescentient had me closing my eyes to interpret what that could be , and thanks to the whole experience I started both salivating, and thinking of all Collection Studio fragrances.
In my opinion creation of a sophisticated yet original fragrances is not an easy task , thanks to J Wearescentient I have a feeling Jordi Fernández made a special one with Oud Paradisio. The looks of the gorgeous bottle, the whole fruity, smoky , sweet , woody and leathery profile , and especially the way J Wearescentient is enjoying the fragrance sold it for me. The mixture of succulent tropical fruits, cassis ,Thai oud and rise mixture sets Oud Paradisio apart. Haven’t been able to smell any of BDK Parfums fragrances and I am anxiously waiting to try this !

I particularly appreciated the diversity of the 3 new BDK fragrances and the reviews, Stellar Silk and Silver Ceremony are soothing and versatile fragrances, Oud Paradisio is more unique and party orientated.
Jordi Fernández Oud Paradisio transitions a lot, from a purple leather to times spent in a high-end patisserie, into memories of the last night going out. The balance between luscious and comforting elements in Oud Paradisiois masterful, I feel that it is a scent designed to leave a lasting impression, definitely worked correspondingly for J .

To me quality niche perfumery is a must, but I like to know the brand , the perfumers and particular fragrances, all Stellar Silk , Silver Ceremony and Oud Paradisio are so nice in a different way , thanks J .
They say pineapple ice-cream is delicious, I’d take delight in testing that theory with buying some tomorrow , dust some cacao on top, put some roses on the table and enjoying the atmosphere on my new leather sofa. I love oud and cassis as well.
I’m on board with everything I’ve learned today, Oud Paradisio in particular is a fragrance that speaks in a language of the person who likes to take his time and to enjoy clubbing and life in general, just like me.

Out of all the BDK I like i end up buying Tabac Rose and Rouge Smoking ,and now due to J Wearescentient zealous review I’m intrigued by Oud Paradisio. Can’t help but think of the joyful but also bold traits of the fragrance stepping on the pineapple ice-cream, leather and rose foundation.
Jordi Fernández I believe did a great job with Oud Paradisio due to symmetry between the notes, and the opulence i expect from every single fragrance from the brand.

    Finally a fresh oud!
I’m always in search of different oud combinations, but due to the warm and dark nature of this ingredient, most of the fragrances containing It are usually pretty heavy and difficult to wear, with warm spices and resins that often characterize the Oriental perfumery. I once tried “Oud” from Acqua di Parma and that was the first fragrance that made me discover a new declination, a powerful but fresh and regenerating union between oud and citruses, and I find a lot of similarities with this new fragrance.
I hope to try this and thank you J for the fantastic review.

I was so excited for these new BDK release. All of them sounds really amazing and caught my attention. But what intrigues me most about BDK Parfums Oud Paradisio is the contrast between the juicy pineapple, cacao, and smoky Thai oud. The idea of combining tropical sweetness with rich leather and rose sounds bold, sensual, and incredibly sophisticated. Is like a modern oud with a glamorous Parisian twist. Exactly the kind of bold sophistication I love in a fragrance.

All convinced me that I should try to find a way to smell all 3 , Stellar Silk thanks the cloud of irresistible iris , Silver Ceremony thanks the zingy fruits,
Oud Paradisio thanks to how joyful delicious and luminous it is
The warm gourmand facets in Oud Paradisio , and the opulent playful but decadent floral , woody and leathery aspects are fused together in a truly immersive velvety experience. Love the pineapple ice-cream , roses , leather and Thai oud blend.

Cafleurebon appreciation of David Benedek and Collection Studio from BDK Parfums was sincere and a joy to experience — and it inspired me to buy a travel set since I’ve smelled, and own by the way Rouge Smoking.
One sure thing is that Collection Studio scent selection and suitability are personal and individual. To me Stellar Silk Is more elegant and romantic, Silver Ceremony classy summer fragrance and Oud Paradisio is a well suited for a confident individual.
My girlfriend would enjoy Stellar Silk and Silver Ceremony , i’m more of a Oud Paradisio kind of person.
The descriptions of Oud Paradisio and all the supporting notes, and the lovely way the fragrance aligns with 70s disco vibe are all so helpful. I was happy to see J Wearescentient other than the fruity, woody and sweet undertones is also highlighting modern rose and leather. Oud Paradisio is just spectacular , the blend Jordi Fernández created is captivating and thanks to the leather and incense a graceful and comforting counterpart to all the simplistic woody-fruity-florals on the market. Love the idea of the fragrance, especially the interplay of sweet, floral , leathery and woody . • Since J Wearescentient other than fragrance expert is also respectful and honest at the same time , just by reading the article I visualized the delightfulness in his eyes when he was exploring BDK Parfums Collection Studio.
I’ll sample Oud Paradiso … period, I need to know how complex pristine quality gourmand with leathery, woody and floral aspects made by Jordi Fernández smells. Love the purple leather idea and color scheme of the bottle, but to be fair there are also other niche brands with luxurious boxes and bottles, the difference is BDK actually delivers not just beautiful bottles but upscale refined fragrances like no other .
Personally I’ve never smelled roses ,incense, oud , pineapple ice-cream and leather fragrance before , kudos for the idea born out of collaboration between the perfumer Jordi Fernández and David Benedek , and the idea of the 70s disco stage.

  • this sounds like quite the fragrance- i am very intrigued by the notes in it & reading about how it feels to wear only grows my curiosity. what sparks my interest about this is the comparison to the 70’s & how this fragrance feels like the reflective light on a dance floor- that such moment i have seeded as a once memory gives to a scent that feels so appropriate for a moment like that, adds the fragrance in my head & intensifies the memory for me. i often can do that, where a scent from now is discovered, or, described- & i go back into my mind & correlate the smell with the memory. although i only wish that moment happened in the 70’s. :). altogether i am very interested in the fragrance’s notes- i loved reading about david’s love of fashion & how jordi fernandez created these fragrances in unison with that. that was a pretty cool thing to learn! i have always wanted to try bdk- but, honestly, there aren’t many fragrances that are reviewed here that aren’t on my ever growing wishlist! i am in the united states.

  • I mean, the whole review is a masterpiece of mental images, but these captured me the most; like the most delicious ice cream that slowly melts into a swirl of smoke in the beginning. Then green incense slowly transitions into a floral lustre, as if roses are blooming on the dance floor. And in dry down – think apple pie and sour sweet tropical fruits all in one with a side of soft blonde aged woods.
    Brilliant!

I’m a big fan of what I’ve smelt so far from BDK.. Gris Charnel & Rouge Smoking being my favourites. I’m very keen to try the full range. I appreciate David’s approach of making fragrances that are actually wearable and that truly enhance an outfit.. fragrances that just smell so good rather than being overly artsy and yet still keeping them interesting and not boring whatsoever. So seeing this particular range released is very exciting to me! I’m impressed by the high concentration and the high quality ingredients used. It’s always refreshing to see more unusual notes used as well.. the pineapple, ice cream, cocoa and so on. I’m eager to get my nose on this, stat! 😀 – Bella, based in the UK

Knowing that was helpful since I don’t know Collection Studio, but I’ve been massive Gris Charnel fan for many years.
BDK is a great house, one of my favorites ever Gris Charnel scent profile is perfect for a wedding, a date or neutral venue , Oud Paradisio is very different though but just as appealing to me.
I like the way J underlined the sweet but not super sugary, fun and decadent sides of Oud Paradisio , such an enigmatic niche perfume. I’d love to discover the fragrance that symbolizes the true Parisian chic, and the emotional spectrum between a private disco party and deluxe patisserie.
You have my sincere thanks EU

  • This seems like a bold and luxurious take on oud that feels surprisingly modern and wearable. Instead of going fully dark and smoky, its “silky petals gracefully move across the leather’s smooth texture”… as J says. I like the fact that the fragrance opens with a vibrant mix of bergamot and icy pineapple, because it might gives an unexpected brightness before the richer notes start unfolding. Those silky roses are the perfect way to the drydown that blends creamy cocoa and deep Thai oud into something sensual, warm, and slightly mysterious.
I really like contrast in fragrances … fruity freshness against dark woods, soft florals against animalic oud.

I live in EUROPE and I want to thank you for the chance!

  • I’m keen on Cafleurebon not sorely because of the multiple sophisticated fragrances and reviews I can find here , that’s the bonus but not the main reason. To me what actually matters to me is the individuality of every single author, including J
The images of Oud Paradisio he painted so well were so evocative , I’m impressed. In my opinion good quality fruity leather fragrances made with high-end ingredients are hard to find.Other than the tasty fruits and leather In his review of Oud Paradisio J is leaning also on the different roses , Thai oud and incense. Hopefully I’ll be able to smell Collection Studio soon , because I’d like to know them all.

How to turn 70s disco emotions into scents ? I believe it was hard task for David Benedek , but Jordi Fernández did his magic once again.
I’m glad to know Oud Paradisio consists of multiple different disco nuances and comforting and romantic trails , from radiant roses and fruits and warm woods, to delicious pineapple ice-cream , and even adventurous leather and incense. I’ll be happy to win a bottle of Oud Paradisio
Sincerely thank you from the EU

  • Hey , I first discovered first BDK fragrances watching Redolessence videos , and Impadia here on Cafleurebon thanks to J Wearescentient. His thoughts once again are making me believe smelling Oud Paradisio would be almost an esoteric experience.
I’m now curious about the fragrance and the way it evolves. The contrast between the ice-cream , leather, Thai oud rose and fruits is so nice… Oud Paradisio was crafted from David Benedek inspiration of fashion and textiles , with lots vibrancy and positive disco energy. I have a feeling Jordi Fernández decided to focus on a carefree clubbing times when creating Oud Paradisio. I believe the perfumer was quite careful when choosing every single raw material , so the fragrance can tell a different and more unique disco story.
I own 2 BDK Perfumes already, Jordi Fernández Impadia
and Amélie Bourgeois Rouge Smoking ,and I can say the happy burst of energy and cheerfulness is so common for the brand.
    Thank you, and fingers crossed

Absolutely breathtaking, the introduction , the fashion and disco references , all the reviews are top notch , BDK article came out great.
Like a lot of people worldwide BDK Parfums is a brand I know for Gris Charnel , my business meetings fragrance.
Stellar Silk seems like a fragrance baked in nostalgia , at least how I associate all opulent iris fragrances.
To me Oud Paradisio sounds spectacular, right in between comfort , seduction and warmth . Not only there’s different juicy fruits, there’s varieties of roses, apple pie with purple leather. This is where fragrance becomes magical , in its ability to capture or relive the sweet and magnetic Parisian chic stories our noses can transport us to.
The fragrance perfumer Jordi Fernández created is no doubt unforgettable, I’m so excited for the chance of winning a bottle of Oud Paradisio. Thanks for the sterling work, EU subscriber

Cafleurebon style of reviews are on a different level !
The host was able to trick my imagination into thinking of exquisite fragrances , from the classy and upscale iris in Stellar Silk, to Silver Ceremony glistening citruses , dlirals and rich woods , to the fun and groovy Oud Paradisio
Out of the 3 fragrances most appealing to me is Oud Paradisio , as i imagine it smells divine, delicious leather fragrance on a different level if even expert like J Wearescentient can’t restraint himself and his love for everything Jordi Fernández fragrance represents.
BDK Oud Paradisio also has floral , woody and smoky nuances , here the boldness , comfort and seduction are perfectly dosed . Love every single aspect of the fragrance, so by all means YES to Oud Paradisio
Thank you to Cafleurebon , J Wearescentient , David Benedek and BDK Parfums EU

  • perfume.lover.trainee22 says:

I find the article truly captivating , since there’s no sugarcoating with Cafleurebon and J Wearescentient , per usual . To David Benedek affection for French disco, fashion and textiles he also shows love and respect to high-end perfumery on regular basis with all the great BDK Parfums releases .
As usual J passion for the art of perfumery shines through, making me even more eager to experience Stellar Silk , Silver Ceremony and Oud Paradisio.
Stellar Silk i like because I like tranquil iris fragrances, Silver Ceremony because the Summer is coming, and Oud Paradisio because Jordi Fernández work here is immaculate . The French disco, patisseries, fashion , roses and leather scent profile sounds amazing, and I’m interested in BDK Parfums in general , hence I only had the pleasure of smelling and on the next day buying Rouge Smoking
“A powdery creamy sensation envelops you with a gourmand twist, but in that well-balanced chic way of the French patisseries where things are never to sweet, just a perfect blend.” was such a powerful and inviting message. I can’t stop thinking about Oud Paradisio right now . From the EU
    Lovely opportunity

  • BDK are crushing it last couple of years, hits after hits and getting a lot of love from fragrance enthusiasts and Cafleurebon. Love so many magnificent fragrances by the brand , and I’ll try to express my opinion of Oud Paradisio. I find impressive how Jordi Fernández , with David Benedek help I’m sure was able to merge elegance and delicious Parisian memories , to meet J Wearescentient high expectations , and in general showing his work ethics and appreciation for artistry too.
Even though my favorite BDK Rouge Smoking Extrait and Oud Paradisio share some aspects the two are also different, the playful and flamboyant Rouge Smoking Extrait, and the more enigmatic and regal Oud Paradisio. No matter the scent profiles the two share the sense of exclusivity , with Oud Paradisio leaning on sizzling explosions on fruits, rose , Thai oud and cacao . BDK DNA is still there and I’m loving it. Oud Paradisio would be amazing
Thanks for the fashion and disco introduction , all reviews and of course the giveaway

  • Full respect for people like J Wearescentient who have high standards, and not just looking for nice smelling , but also for for creative and sophisticated fragrances.
Reading the essay made me think of how unique of creation BDK Parfums Oud Paradisio J can’t even hold his breath while presenting it. Vivid atmosphere of disco entertainment, stepping on foundation of depth and complexity, dancing and haute couture fashion , Oud Paradisio is special

《 Oud Paradisio is delicious to wear, never too cloying with its purple leather, spice and florals keeping it in check. Playful in that 70s’ disco way but remixed into the now as a leather jewel with Thai oud accentuating all the stunning facets. …》

Good job David Benedek , together with different very talented perfumers you engineered so many magnificent fragrances. Jordi Fernández created a striking atmosphere of indulgent dreams with apple pie and cassis , purple leather, Thai oud and floral touch .
Since I wear the original Gris Charnel all year long I was delighted to learn about Oud Paradisio in such details

    Many thanks-I’m in EU
Really looking forward to sampling Collection Studio
The reason is I like elegant iris when it comes to Stellar Silk , and I need high quality summer fragrance when it comes to Silver Ceremony.
Love this brand—their catalog is expanding and includes a lot of thematic range. I’m addicted to not overly sugary gourmands, but Oud Paradisio sounds like a more well-rounded fragrance, spiking exotic aperitif with a lot of delicious fruits, sexy leather and Thai oud and floral rosy bite.
Jordi Fernández managed to pack in all sorts of both cozy and bold notes. The way he balanced with the base is intriguing too—especially that “soft blonde aged woods” treat.
I’m a fan of BDK – Vanille Caviar, J reviews were awesome so it’s safe to say I’d enjoy wearing Oud Paradisio very much

  • Diamond.Girl says:

I live in the UK and I must say J breakdowns of all Collection Studio BDK Parfums recommendations were so vivid, it was like I could smell each layer unfolding. The thick iris and creamy woods in Stellar Silk
, the glistening citruses in Silver Ceremony , and the purple leather , lush roses and alluring apple pie characteristics in Oud Paradisio had me completely intrigued. I also appreciate the older writeups , as it reminded me why perfume is so deeply personal , Impadia and Gris Charnel Extrait i own , and my impressions of the two are quite different from what J Wearescentient and Olya Bar shared with Cafleurebon readers.
Thank you J, Michelyn and wonderful folks at BDK Perfumes for making this happen.Cheers

  • TobeFrankincense says:

I wasn’t aware that Oud Paradisio featured green incense so that definitely piqued my interest! A figure, leather-clad, dancing in the shadows amongst blooming roses, now that’s an image I didn’t expect to imagine! I live in the EU.

  • wallygator88 says:

What sparks my interest most about J’s review is the 1970s French disco framing, which could easily have felt like a gimmick but instead becomes the exact right lens for understanding how Oud Paradisio moves between light and darkness, opulence and groove, bright citrus flashes and deep purple leather shadow. The detail that sold me is J’s admission that he typically finds pineapple challenging in fragrances, yet here Jordi Fernández deploys it so deftly that it functions as foreshadowing for the Thai oud’s baked fruity facets in the base. That kind of structural storytelling, where a top note isn’t just an opening act but a deliberate preview of where the composition is headed, shows real architectural thinking from the perfumer. The chiaroscuro effect J describes between the rigid leather surface and the deconstructed rose swirling across it is a gorgeous image, and the fact that cacao forms “the velvet nap of the leather’s reverse side” rather than playing a straightforward gourmand role reveals how precisely Fernández is thinking about texture rather than taste. Ten years of BDK and this Collection Studio trio feels less like a celebration and more like a statement of intent for the next decade. Cheers from WI, USA

  • Ali_Bali32 says:

The whole BDK Collection Studio list i absolutely love , each release is awesome in a different way.
Stellar Silk is sophisticated iris , both comforting and tranquil.
The whole Oud Paradisio presentation i absolutely love , I know it’s mostly about the juice and not the bottle , but the images of the purple bottle and the black glossy cap immediately caught my eye. This deep fruity-woody essence with a bit of ice-cream , lush roses traits and no gimmicks , well brushed with romance , leather and disco desire finesse by Jordi Fernández sounds wonderful .
Oud Paradisio captures the exquisite tension between the rigid surface of leather and the delicate floral elements, creating a chiaroscuro effect in how it wears…… So nice
Absolutely I’d love to try Oud Paradisio, and get a chance to check out the aroma and the bottle in person.

Thank you for introducing me to David Benedek, Collection Studio , BDK Parfums and especially “Oud Paradisio” , the fragrance is in my to-try-list now.
The fact that Senior Editor artist like J Wearescentient spoke of fashion , art, nightlife , dreams means that even fragrance and culture expert like him is impressed. BDK Parfums “Oud Paradisio” is very much a decadent radian mix of disco balls, leather , rose , Thai oud and different desserts like apple pie and ice-cream. I’m all in , absolutely a fragrance i’d like to win, awesome encounter for people who like to communicate with passion, but also to dance and groove

Not exactly a fashion person myself but I gladly show love to the Parisian chic, patisseries and disco clubs .
J Wearescentient told us about the creamy iris and the woods and resins in Stellar Silk, and I’m more than willing to give it a try.
Since I love the brand , I like how J said Oud Paradisio
is like a purple leather leaning also on the roses , patisserie goods and cassis , the Thai oud and incense he mentioned i find just as attractive. I really like how Oud Paradisio
is its own unique entity though, and I think the fragrance
Jordi Fernández created is for those who want to elevate their clubbing game. With Oud Paradisio he and David Benedek
showed respect to disco fans, the niche market and based on J Wearescentient review I believe he did a great job. Gris Charnel Extrait i own , EU Thank you

  • Healthy_Lifestyle says:

My takeaway about BDK article is the overall sense of heritage, sensuality and finesse. J Wearescentient did a marvelous job , and It appeals to me that he infused into the article his own perception of Parisian chic, desserts and fashion.
Oud Paradisio comes straight from some VIP disco party, enigmatic fragrance with exquisite ingredients. The mixture of apple pie, leather, cacao , rose and incense sounds so deep and delectable, yet beautiful and inviting. I have a feeling that during the process of creating the fragrance David Benedek and Jordi Fernández had multiple flavorful brainstorming moments and discussions , including patisserie treats while 70s disco music was coming from the speakers.
In light of J Wearescentient review and the warm introduction I have no doubts Oud Paradisio is stunning

It’s finally getting warmer last couple of days , and thanks to J suddenly i feel like watching Saturday Night Fever (1977) . To me Oud Paradisio captures that cozy, slightly nostalgic and romantic vibe, it’s both delicious, woody and leathery. After discovering J impressions of the fragrance i Imagined a house party / movie , with the sweet smell of apple pie, sun-warmed cassis , while also radiant rose , warm woods and pineapple are lingering in the background .
Oud Paradisio is so Saturday Night Fever (1977) type of fragrance. The quintessential disco film that defined a generation with John Travolta as Tony Manero, a young man who escapes the struggles of his working-class Brooklyn life by dominating the dance floor on Saturday nights.
Going out while wearing Oud Paradisio would make me feel like Tony Manero . A few extra sprays of Oud Paradisio while dancing? Now that’s a genuine comfort

  • CoolDaylight60W says:

Optimal course to start is with the introduction since just like David Benedek I’m very much found of haute couture scenery.
Turning high fashion and disco music emotions into scent I imagine is very hard, especially when there are variety of nuances involved as well. Creating Oud Paradisio wasn’t easy I’m sure, even for Jordi Fernández
Cafleurebon and J Wearescentient love for David Benedek and BDK Parfums, art ,design, and spectacular fragrances is eminent. Love the way J intertwined carefree disco journeys, creativity, delicious, bold and nostalgic heartstrings when reviewing Oud Paradisio. Excellent radiant aroma where purple leather, pineapple, woods and rose are more prominent, like a high-end fashion piece according to J, i can sense some adventurous nature as well. Thank you ! EU

  • Captivating introduction of David Benedek and Collection Studio by BDK Parfums, short overview of Stellar Silk and Silver Ceremony, and enthusiastic take on one spectacular fragrance called Oud Paradisio, job well done J Wearescentient
I’m exposed to niche perfumery and BDK Parfums thanks to Velvet Tonka , but not yet to the fragrances on the list , and i can’t help but to be impressed right now about how good of fragrance Oud Paradisio is , if even J Wearescentient is crazy about it. Stellar Silk is also a special fragrance with different hints of iris , resins and woods.
Other than the pineapple ice-cream , leather and blonde woods I also find Oud Paradisio delightful for the incense on one part , and the trio of roses and sense of refinery on the other. Apart from wanting to win Oud Paradisio I’d also love to visit BDK Parfums headquarters, and have a chat with David Benedek
EU , thank you very much

  • HighSpeedRace.31 says:

J thoughtful breakdown of David Benedek fondness for textiles, fashion and disco music really helped bring BDK Founder and Creative Director personality to life. I like the balance of seduction, fun and photorealism in all Collection Studio compositions . In a clever way Jordi Fernández paired Oud Paradisio with French chic, emotions parties and desserts , reminding us that scent can reflect identity just as powerfully as fashion or disco music.
I’d enjoy Oud Paradisio because of the voluptuous demeanor of the fragrance. I live in the EU and would be thrilled to experience Oud Paradisio confident and sensual aspects myself. It sounds like a beautiful tribute to the lush of the 70s in a perfume form.

  • These three 40%+ Collection Studio fragrances are all quite different from each other, and I’m curious how the different tonalities play at this high concentration. Oud Paradisio is intriguing for its contrasts: bright chocolate-kissed citrus and pineapple over smoke; sharp bergamot and blackcurrant against “gentle smokiness”. The green Somalian incense sounds like a particularly compelling addition.

    I’m in WI, USA.

  • BDK bottles are so interesting to me. They are both sturdy and elegant. So simple yet majestic. This fragrance sounds beautiful, sensual and daring and I get the same sensation from the brand’ photos used in this review. What really sparked my interest about J’s review was the references used: musical, gastronomic. floral, textural. It really composed a much more complex image of Oud Paradisio; which I hope to get the chance to smell soon. From EU with leathery dreams in my head after reading this review

The 3 scent profiles is blend of appreciation for all fashion and disco fans, while all fragrances are smoothen up to perfection by non other than Jordi Fernández.
BDK Parfums seems to have a lot of variety in what they offer , it’s not just Gris Charnel, the fragrance I own. Oud Paradisio is also giving off that sophisticated, artistic vibe BDK Parfums are known for relying on glittering lights, leather, Thai oud notes, pineapple ice-cream and different temptations. • Summed up by the introduction, and the review by J Wearescentient I’d say you got us all set up with sophisticated new releases from BDK Parfums.
Stellar Silk is an unapologetically cozy iris and woods fragrance that captures the depth, and sensuality of modern romance.
Oud Paradisio is warm and sensual : rich swirls of roses, juicy fruits and warm woods nuances create a creamy, dreamy center, and the purple leather and apple pie are to die for. The fragrance is both comforting and luxurious, evoking memories of shared time—perhaps a romantic gesture, fashion review or disco party.
Two of the oldest BDK releases are in my possession Gris Charnel and Rouge Smoking , and I’d love to experience Oud Paradisio. Kudos to all ,I’m located in EU

Regarding BDK as a brand Rouge Smoking Extrait is in my possession , and I’m definitely interested into refined and radiant fruity and woody leather fragrance mixed with a couple of different nuances , from smoky to dessert like and regal . Other than the delicious ,like an apple pie+leather+rose scent profile I find Oud Paradisio tempting for the, in no particular order a) sensual components b) elegance c) originality d) haute couture inspiration e) J multidimensional review f) David Benedek and perfumer Jordi Fernández inventiveness g) beautiful bottle design . Good job all around. Keep it up , European Union
J did an excellent job in describing the latest BDK Parfums, and more importantly there is a strong sense of Parisian chic behind his thoughtful and articulate presentation of the Collection Studio perfumes.
Notably Oud Paradisio sound wonderful and yet are distinct enough from anything else on the market, and it well represents different facets of Parisian levels of comfort. Parties, comfort , patisseries are all present, exactly what David Benedek and Jordi Fernández wanted to convey at that particular moment.
Based on all in written descriptions, and thanks to luminous blend of roses, pineapple, cacao and leather , Oud Paradisio went straight to my list of most desired perfumes.

  • Happy BDK Parfums 10th Anniversary to all loyal supporters of the brand, to David Benedek and to the whole BDK team

Oud Paradisi was described by J Wearescentient in such a mesmerizing way. Playful and complex fragrance in my opinion ,adventurous maybe but with grace. Radiant atmosphere of leather, blonde woods and apple pie i love, pineapple ice-cream and cassis are favorites of mine , rose and incense too and I’d love a chance at getting a bottle of Oud Paradisio. Part of a different line but I own the magnificent Tabac Rose.I live in the EU

  • J did a great job curating the article , congrats
My takeaway about Oud Paradisio with a quote :

“The Collection Studio has that flow of space disco with its lavish orchestral string arrangements and heavy grooves, while its brighter melodies capture your nose and make you want to dance. Personally, I like the darkness of the dance floor where the disco lights illuminate the edges leaving shadows as the needle hits the groove.”

Unquestionably dedication is a must for the 21st century dire competition, and expectations are beyond high for everyone , in particular for high end popular niche brands like BDK Parfums. David Benedek latest work speaks for itself, absolutely breathtaking design, exquisite and original fragrances made by talented perfumer like Jordi Fernández….. all kind of anticipated because since the major success of Rouge Smoking, and especially Gris Charnel now everyone’s expectations for BDK are through the roof.
The color scheme of Oud Paradisio bottle is different than the bottle of Rouge Smoking Extrait , my personal favorite but just as pretty , if not prettier.
Judging by the detailed review and the Parisian chic and disco symbolism, and how ecstatic J is, all makes me feel free will sophisticated fragrance with apple pie, pineapple, leather and rose appeal is already on the market. Oud Paradisio is right up my alley.

I really like how Cafleurebon and J are moving all the pieces with ease on the BDK 10th Anniversary chessboard , I learned a lot today.
Stellar Silk mini review shows that the important pieces on the board are the the sleek opulent iris and creamy woods.
Seeing J so involved in a soulful fragrance like Oud Paradisio , that’s a statement on its own ! I can’t think of a better fragrance with apple pie, leather, tart juicy fruits and Thai oud alluring party aspects,
Oud Paradisio should be outstanding. Jordi Fernández made the fragrance so addictive and ideal for both couture fashion review , and private disco event in Paris
I’m based in EU , thanks

J’s review gave me the image to match this new fragrance. I love the oud/leather combo with the sweetness/apple pie/ pineapple with dark purple feel to it! Saffron is another note I love in this context and J’s describes it perfectly!

What caught my attention in J’s review? First is that he dislikes pineapple notes in perfumes. I’ve never liked pineapple in perfumes. The last one that I bought was Music For A While. And I have a love/hate relationship with that one. Perfumers tend to make the note too sweet and too dense. I am hoping that in Oud Paradisio, Jordi Fernández either manages to make a less dense pineapple accord, or tone it down with other dense notes. I am very curious how I react to Oud Paradisio. I live in the US.
