5 great Fragrances for Spring

5 of the Best Fragrances You Can Wear this Spring @redolesssence AI

After the cold, snowy and dark days of winter, spring 2026 promises to be the season of new beginnings. If ever there was a time for new beginnings, it is right about now. Our co-curated top five fragrances are bright with citrus, florals, hints of fruit, green notes, soft woods and musky tones.-Michelyn Camen, Editor-in-Chief

Atelier Des Ors Riviera Drive (Marie Salamagne) is an olfactory postcard of  a scenic drive along the Mediterranean coast. Imagine yourself stepping into the movie To Catch a Thief, driving a Sunbeam Alpine MK1—an elegant blue convertible—speeding along with the spectacular views of the Côte d’Azur. It’s extremely fresh and a little wild. Notes: Lemon, marjoram, rosemary, cedar leaf, absinthe, patchouli, Cashmeran, cedar and musk –Michelyn Camen

Versace Dylan Blush Pink (Olivier Cresp) is juicy and soft. It opens with sweet strawberry apple and airy freesia, melting into a creamy marshmallow heart, and settling into warm vanilla and musk for a feminine, effortlessly addictive finish. Notes: strawberry, apple, freesia, Calabrian bergamot, marshmallow, orange blossom, Tonka bean, Madagascar vanilla, musk Steven Gavrielatos

Vivamor Dare Me Now (Christian Provenzano) opens with a bright burst of citrus and juicy blackcurrant, blooms into soft jasmine and rose, and settles into creamy sandalwood and vanilla making it smooth, feminine, and confidently addictive. Notes: Italian mandarin, blackcurrant, Brazilian orange, Indian Jasmine, rose absolute, white sandalwood, vanilla cream Steven Gavrielatos

Tempus Vitae Élixir de Vie (Kyle Mott-Kannenberg) is a perfume where relaxation and invigoration meet. Aromatic and green, pine holds the citrus freshness, elemi resins, and tonic brightness that run through the rest of the scent. Refreshing, invigotating and uplifting. Notes: Yuzu, Orange, Grapefruit, Lemongrass, White Florals, Pine, Elemi –Michelyn Camen

In our Number One spot: Perfumology Grange (Justin Frederico):Perfumology Grange is a memory in perfume, nostalgic to a moment in the woods during my childhood.” – Nir Guy, founder and co-owner, Perfumology Philadelphia, Pa.

Grange opens with a clear burst of citrus, Mexican lime, lemon zest, and Sicilian orange evoking the cool relief of a shaded stream on a warm Spring day. As it develops, smoky oak, weathered wood, and tobacco leaf add depth, carrying the scent from sunlit water into darker woods. Justin and Nir transported me to Cobbs Creek on the Grange Estate near Havertown, PA. a place I have never been, kids I never played with and trees I never climbed. That is the magic of scent. Notes: Mexican lime, Sicilian orange, fig, tobacco, American cedarMichelyn Camen

I’ve been ready for spring fragrances since January 1st. Michelyn described Elixir de Vie as “ refreshing invigorating and uplifting”. Exactly what i look for in a spring fragrance. Steven commented on its strength and uniqueness which makes it even more interesting to me. I do enjoy Riviera Drive. They have very elegant presentations. I love the recommendations for the spring. I’m in USA Pennsylvania

  • Brad Woolslayer says:

I love the way both Steven and Michelyn describe Grange. Steve mentioned that it’s both charismatic, but also mysterious. Michelyn mentioned how it transports you to a shaded stream on a warm spring day. Both descriptions make this one sound amazing for spring. The notes are fantastic as well. I live in Maryland USA. I would love to win a bottle of Grange.

  • I have bought many perfumes after watching Redolessence on YouTube. I have been subscribed to his YouTube for a couple of years and trust his reviews.

  • TheScentedPage says:

The spring picks in this roundup feel bright, uplifting, and full of that warm, spring day energy. But, now my bottle of Riviera Drive is calling to me. It really stands out with its breezy sophistication.

I’m now rethinking my original Easter Day perfume. I think I’m going for that fresh take. Thank you for the inspiration.

After the long, grey winter we’ve had in Germany, both Steven’s and Michelyn’s reviews feel like a promise of sunshine. What struck me most about Michelyn’s descriptions is how cinematic they are especially Atelier Des Ors Riviera Drive as an “olfactory postcard” of the Côte d’Azur, stepping into “To Catch a Thief” in an elegant blue convertible. That kind of escapism is exactly what I crave in spring. But the fragrance that truly captured my attention is Tempus Vitae Élixir de Vie. Michelyn’s description of it as a perfume “where relaxation and invigoration meet” with “aromatic and green” pine holding citrus freshness and “tonic brightness” sounds like the perfect transition from winter’s heaviness to spring’s lightness. The combination of yuzu, grapefruit, lemongrass, pine, and elemi promises a scent that’s both uplifting and grounding exactly what I need as the days get longer. Steven’s enthusiasm for the fresh, juicy scents like Versace Dylan Blush Pink and Vivamor Dare Me Now also appeals to my desire for something bright and cheerful. If I win, my choice is Tempus Vitae Élixir de Vie. I am a registered reader in Germany.

Michelyn’s review of Atelier Des Ors Riviera Drive immediately had me booking an imaginary trip to the Côte d’Azur. The image of driving a “Sunbeam Alpine MK1 an elegant blue convertible speeding along with spectacular views” while wearing a perfume with lemon, marjoram, rosemary, cedar leaf, and absinthe is pure spring fantasy. Steven’s picks bring their own joy Versace Dylan Blush Pink with its “juicy and soft” strawberry and marshmallow sounds like a flirtatious, carefree spring day. But for the giveaway, my choice is Tempus Vitae Élixir de Vie. What appeals to me most is Michelyn’s description of it as “where relaxation and invigoration meet.” That duality is rare and precious a scent that can wake you up and calm you down simultaneously. The combination of yuzu, grapefruit, lemongrass for brightness, and pine and elemi for grounding, sounds like a walk through a sun-dappled forest after a spring rain. I appreciate that Tempus Vitae offers worldwide shipping, so I can actually enter. I am a registered reader in the EU and would be delighted to win Tempus Vitae Élixir de Vie.

What I appreciated most about Michelyn and Steven’s co-curated list is how different their perspectives are, yet how perfectly they complement each other. Steven leans into the juicy, sweet, feminine side of spring strawberry, marshmallow, vanilla cream, blackcurrant while Michelyn brings the aromatic, green, Mediterranean, forest-inspired freshness. Together, they’ve created a complete picture of spring: from the playful sweetness of blooming flowers to the wild, untamed freshness of the outdoors. My choice for the giveaway is Tempus Vitae Élixir de Vie for two reasons. First, Michelyn’s description of it as “refreshing, invigorating and uplifting” with “yuzu, orange, grapefruit, lemongrass, white florals, pine, elemi” sounds like the olfactory equivalent of that first warm day when you throw open all the windows and let the fresh air rush in. Second, it’s available worldwide, which as a reader in Germany I deeply appreciate. Steven’s reviews made me want to try Vivamor Dare Me Now for its “creamy sandalwood and vanilla” drydown, and Michelyn’s made me long for a Mediterranean road trip with Riviera Drive. But for now, I’ll chase the sun with Élixir de Vie. EU based

  • First off this is a great opportunity not only to win but by introducing spring’s better choices in niche and designer. Michelyn write up was straight forward and structured for a pleasant read and a note listing that wasn’t overly complicated. Riviera drive strikes my interest the most. No experience with the ADO house but the bottle, the gold flakes, and the subtle differences with many combinations make it something to be sought after. Stevens reviews are always on point and its interesting how his channel and the overall fragcom has developed in the last two decades. Tempus Vitae and Grange are both what I really like, strength and character. Not just run of the mill department store scents. From USA

  • If I win, my choice is Tempus Vitae Élixir de Vie (15 ml).
Steven’s video review was so energetic and spot-on – he really made every fragrance pop and feel wearable right away. Michelyn’s write-ups were equally wonderful, painting such vivid, poetic pictures of the scents and their spring vibes (especially the Mediterranean drive and nostalgic woodland memory). The two reviews complemented each other perfectly!

  • Well, the Riveria caught my attention and the Cary Grant movie reference totally clinched that, so that’ll go on my try list, especially with Stephen’s Bright Summery vote on it. I like how they each focus on slightly different aspects of each, just as we all do when trying things. Michelyn’s review of Grange made me lean towards that one but fig wasn’t mentioned and fig and me can be enemies, so I would choose the refreshing uplifting Tempus Vitae if I was selected. I live in the US.

  • Ramses Perez says:

What a lovely list! Michelyn describes the fragrances as only she can, associating specific scenes and familiar landscapes to the fragrances. Riviera Drive being compared to Cote D’Azur makes total sense to me as that’s exactly what I think when it comes to it. Steven touches more on the seasonality and who he sees being a target audience for the scents. Dare Me Now coming in a hot pink bottle and surrounded by sweet notes speaks feminine while other scents are more niche in how they smell and wear. I follow CaFleureBonOfficial on IG and my name is Ramses.d.perez. Should I win, I’m going for Tempus Vitae. I’m located in the US.

  • Neta Davis says:

I always enjoy the content and reviews from both Steven and Michelyn. The content is done in a way that is easy to understand, the notes are broken down well, and I feel they do a great nod of being objective. I would love to have the Dylan Pink Blush. That is the one I think that leans closer to my preferred scent profile and what I enjoy on my skin.

  • Neta Davis says:

My location was inadvertently left off of the last comment. I am located in the US

  • Sybelle16 says:

Everyone is ready for the spring and warmer weather it seems. These five scents run the gambit of springtime reverie for both Steve and Michelyn.
My standouts of the five were Atelier Des Ors Riveria Drive; with notes of lemon and marjoram, it hints at a wild and fresh mediterranean summer adventure along the coast of Monaco; Versace Dylan Blush Pink brings a sweet and feminine touch to spring with its creamy marshmallow heart and warm vanilla and musk notes; Vivamor Dare Me Now is another sweet, addictive feminine scent that has juicy, fruity notes, vanilla, bright citrus, soft florals, and sandalwood; and her top pick, Perfumology Grange, another citrus forward scent with various types of citrus that has hidden depth from smoky oak, weathered wood, and tobacco leaf, creating a scent profile that hints of sunny spring days the past.
These scents run the spectrum of bright, zesty, citrusy, vivacious, fun, sexy springtime gems that has something for everyone tastes. Perfumology Grange is the one that stands out for me.

  • The written review had me wanting to try some Atelier Des Ors Riviera Drive. The video had me get interested in Versace Dylan Blush Pink to give as a gift. If chosen my pick is, Élixir de Vie by Tempus Vitae. US

  • I love how Michelyn has such a visual, almost cinematic approach when describing the fragrances – it really creates a multidimensional image of a scent, enrichening it with picturesque and cultural nuances. On the other hand, Steven has his own style which is very precise, descriptive and detailed and really does a wonderful job in conveying a fragrance as closely as possible through words.
I found their selection wonderful and exciting. Bring on the fruit, citrus, herbs and freshness!
Tempus Vitae sounds wonderful and incredibly refreshing. Would love to win the 15 ml, From the EU.

  • Tatiana Falcone says:

THe reviews from both Steven and Michelyn’s were great, I love how Michelyn’s review took me to a memory.

    If I winI want Grange
    @taty.falcone

  • I liked Michelyn’s description of a speeding blue convertible and views of the Côte d’Azur. Stephen mentioned that Riviera Drive is unisex, which I’m a fan of. If lucky, I’d choose Grange because of the lime and tobacco notes. MI USA

  • Ensorceler says:

What a beautiful way to celebrate spring’s arrival. Each of these reviews paints such vivid olfactory imagery! Michelyn’s writing always transports me; her descriptions of Riviera Drive and Grange feel cinematic, with light glinting off the Mediterranean and the memory-rich serenity of Cobbs Creek blending effortlessly into scent. Steven’s reviews, by contrast, capture the vibrant, playful side of the season. His portrayals of Dylan Blush Pink and Dare Me Now radiate warmth, sweetness, and feminine confidence.

Should I be lucky enough to win, my choice would be Tempus Vitae Élixir de Vie. Its refreshing blend of citrus, pine, and florals feels like a deep breath of early spring air, invigorating, uplifting, and full of renewed energy just pulls me in. Following on IG as @lens.orceleur (L’ensorceleur) from the USA.

  • bustednose says:

Loved Michelyn’s grounding of Grange to geography as this makes me want to try it even more. Steven’s description of Elixir de Vie as spring focused but year round appropriate intrigues me as well. Love the notes for that one. My pick would have to be Grange for the travel to another place that Michelyn describes. I am in Texas USA.

  • These were great picks and I’m excited to try a few of them! I loved Steven’s energy and enthusiasm in the video reviews – he’s an excellent presenter. I really appreciated the transportive quality of Michelyn’s reviews. Scent’s ability to send you to different environments is one of the reasons I love perfume. I have had my eye on Grange from the wonderful Perfumology for a long time so that would be my choice of bottle.

  • Here comes the sun, do do do dooo… I’m here for it! After a typical dreary winter in the pacific northwest I’m totally ready for some sunshine and an energizing fragrance.

I love Steven and Michelyn’s different takes on spring fragrances. While Steven focused more on audiences for each pick, which is always so useful, Michelyn’s association to landscapes sucked me in. Tempus Vitae Elixir de Vie is the one I’m leaning toward because that lemongrass note sounds so light and refreshing, perfect for spring and summer.

    I’m in the USA.

  • michelyn’s review’s, i love! they were quick & to the point & each sound so radiant & perfect for spring! i love how they all are very different, but, all are for the same season- i am so curious about versace blush! so, loved reading that quick review! as always, i love steven’s reviews- he is always so creative with how he presents these fragrances & articulate & keeps you engaged- all the most important things, so, i always love watching his recommendation’s! if i were the lucky person to be picked, grange sounds beautiful & i love how the perfumer creates this fragrance based on a place he had been in his childhood & for michelyn, as place she had never been- but, imagined as she smelled this creation! that is such a beautiful thing! thank you for the opportunities, as always! i am in the united states. i am also following on insta- my handle name is: kassieobviously.

  • What a great mix of spring fragrances. My favorites from the list of five is Grange by Perfumology especially because it’s in the number one spot. It really spoke to me and citrus and woody perfumes are my favorite. Not a fan of sweet flowery perfumes, no marshmallow please, so this is my choice should I win. I live in the USA.

  • Trinity33 says:

These selections are the epitome of spring; light, fresh and optimistic. I’m drawn to Grange because I grew up around a wooded area and the memory of walking as the flora turns to spring is a fond one. Michelyn likens it to a shaded stream on a warm spring day. Steven finds it compelling and mysterious. USA

  • Hello! I always love watching Steven review fragrances and this one did not disappoint! I enjoyed his take on all the Atelier de Ors versions. Michelyn’s take on Grange really intrigued me, which is why that is the one I’d love to get if I win. I’m in NJ USA.

  • New beginnings do sound good right now—here’s to a happy, sunny, and peaceful Spring. Michelyn’s comment makes me want to watch To Catch a Thief and give Riviera Drive a sniff. Tempus Vitae Élixir de Vie also sounds terrific; I love when perfumers play up the tangy aspect of elemi with citrus (Steven says it’s the “ideal summer scent” from the brand and the citrus “takes the cake”), and pine-incense combos are always compelling. Steven pointed out the richness and quality of the materials. And Grange is a really unique take on outdoor forest fragrances with the lime, fig, and tobacco notes. Steven’s detailed recommendation for this “fresh Spring scent with a bit of darkness to it” is super intriguing. The juice looks potent, the composition is interesting, and this use of tobacco sounds truly unique. Thanks for the reviews.

I’m in WI, USA. I follow @cafleurebonoffical on Instagram as @mmerline. If I were to win, I’d choose Perfumology Grange. Thanks!

Thanks for the great spring roundup, Michelyn and Steven! I love how your perspectives complement each other — Michelyn paints these cinematic, place-driven scenes (the To Catch a Thief Côte d’Azur imagery for Riviera Drive is perfect), while Steven zeroes in on wearability and who each scent speaks to. Together it gives a real sense of both the atmosphere and the practical appeal of each pick. Perfumology Grange is the one that pulls me in hardest — Michelyn’s description of being transported to Cobbs Creek, a place she’d never been, through smoky oak, citrus, and tobacco leaf is exactly the kind of alchemy that makes fragrance feel like time travel. Steven calling it charismatic and mysterious only seals the deal. If I’m lucky enough to win, Grange would be my choice. Cheers from WI, USA

  • foreverscents says:

I always look forward to the seasonal roundups form Michelyn and Steven. They always choose an interesting variety of fragrances. Spring makes me want to wear citrus notes, so I am happy that notes like lime, lemon, and yuzu are featured in many of these fragrances. I have heard so much about Riviera Drive, so I think this might be the year I purchase it. I am particularly excited to try Grange because the wood and tobacco notes add depth to the citrus notes.

I would choose Perfumology Grange if I win. I just love love love how descriptive Steven is. Easily one of my top 3 fragrance content creators out there. What pulls me in here is that sense of escape. I like how each fragrance feels like a moment or a place, not just a list of notes. Atelier Des Ors gives me that cinematic coastal drive, while Perfumology Grange really hits, turning scent into memory.

That’s what I connect with most. Fragrance that transports me somewhere I’ve never been but somehow still feels familiar.
