2020 Top Ten Fragrances: (Elena and Nicoleta) Part 5 + Finale Draw

CaFleureBon 2020 Top Ten Fragrances

The year that was 2020, is drawing to a close and in spite of all the friends and family we cannot  hug, natural disasters and Covid, the year brought us excellent perfumes. We look ahead to 2021 and hope.

Elena’s  2020 Top Ten Fragrances

Top Ten Fragrances of 2020

Time felt so strange in 2020. It started out quite confusing, March felt to me like a never ending catastrophe scenario I was trapped in: experience of a full Covid lockdown 5.5. Richter earthquake is priceless, April like a blur, May ended before it begun, and Summer…where did Summer go? The rest of the months following dragged me to the end of this horrid year. As I floated through 2020, at first I had an impression that I didn’t get to smell to many new releases. Later on, when I checked out lists of perfumes launched, I realized that, all things considered, I did well. And yes, 2020 did bring us some fragrances to remember! Here is the list of fragrances I clung to, and I hope you have found your comfort-in-the-bottle too.

Aram Olivier Durbano

Olivier Durbano Aram (Olivier Durbano): Aram – the newest addition to the One Alchemy Collection by Olivier Durbano smells like hope to me. It soothes my soul with green tea, vetiver, and rose, hugs me closely with inevitable incense and resins, and gently eases my mind taking me to ever-shifting sand hills made of dreams. Timeless, and guaranteed to lift your soul up. Hope in a bottle.

Fado Jasmim Miguel Matos Perfumes

Miguel Matos Perfumes Fado Jasmim  (Miguel Matos): Saudade. That feeling that’s hard to describe in any language other than Portuguese, a mixture of longing for things that were, might have been, never happened, and those we hope for. And Fado, a profoundly melancholic expression of one’s soul: this is what Miguel Matos gives us in a perfume that swept me away by a trembling Grandiflorum ranging from the floral, fruity and bright, to dark, well-restrained but still expressive animalic-leaning tones. So authentic, and touching.

2020 Top Ten Fragrances L Or ris DSH Perfumes

DSH Perfumes L’Or(ris) (Dawn Spencer-Hurwitz): My catnip of the year, highly addictive in the most positive way. An iris gilded with gold, sparkling with optimism in the opening, and featuring a heart of gold: a rich orris that’s velvety and opulent, embraced by jasmine and angelica is bound to make you smile, and later development is simply heartwarming. I was so struck by that sheer happiness L’Or(ris) made me feel that I had no other perfume on my mind for a couple of weeks, pulling out the small vial I kept in my pocket at all times. Contagiously optimistic.

Masque Milano Madeleine by Fanny Bal

Masque Milano Madeleine (Fanny Bal):What looks like crisis to some, some turn into an opportunity. Masque Milano managed to develop and launch four perfumes this year, to overcome barriers of distance and social distancing by organizing on-line live launches with attendees from all over the world, and to change my mind (it happens, sometimes) – about gourmands. Madeleine (Le Donne di Masque Collection) is delicious in the most elegant and refined way. It’s all about joi de vivre filled with olfactory delights, with the most delicious tuberose, a lovely bouquet of white flowers, and Mont Blanc pastries with an amazing chestnut accord. My Proustian remembrance of all good things past, bringing back sweet memories. Beautiful, and a great example of great usage of aldehydes used to enhance florals, handled with style.

2020 Top Ten Fragrances Perris Monte Carlo Mimosa Tanneron

photo Roberto Greco

Perris Monte Carlo Mimosa Tanneron (Jean Claude Ellena): Mimosas were in this year, and what this year brought to me is a new-found love for mimosa-themed fragrances. One in particular was the trigger: Mimosa Tanneron, (Les Parfums de Grasse) a sample of which I held to like to the last rays of sunshine ever. Because it reminded me of the times spent in Grasse and its surroundings, because it shines like a diamond, with carefully cut facetes by a steady hand of a master perfumer. It is fluffy, without being overly powdery, sensual in it’s au naturel appearance, and glowing softly in the drydown. Country roads of Tanneron – take me there! Sunshine, sunshine, even in gloomiest days.

Pharaohs Passion St Clair Scents

St. Clair Scents Pharaoh’s Passion (Diane St. Clair): I sailed down the Nile from Aswan to Luxor and back aboard a slow, cruise ship in less days than it took for this well-travelled sample to arrive to my address. Postal services suffered a lot in 2020, and this new release from Diane St. Clair reached me months after it was launched. Pharaoh’s Passion, inspired by Cleopatra – a woman that ruled Egypt as a pharaoh is linked to a discovery made in 2019, of an archeological site that was allegedly a perfume factory. Jars were found, with traces of aromatic oils, and Diane St. Clair made an opulent impression of what Cleopatra might have smelled like! Spices, florals, herbs, luxurious opulence, and smooth woods: Pharaoh’s Passion is mysterious like places yet unvisited, alluring like memories of those you travelled to and fell in love, and royally exuberant.

Roberto Greco Porter Sa Peau 2020 top ten fragrances

Roberto Greco Porter Sa Peau – L’Objet Parfumant (Rodrigo Flores-Roux): Wearing One’s Skin is emotional, so heartbreakingly human. Exposing it, even more. It’s sometimes joyful and heavenly easy, and sometimes torturous. Always amazing, because life IS beautiful. Porter sa peau immediately upon smelling it for the first time went high on my The Best of 2020 list: the beauty of this composition left me breathless. Rodrigo Flores-Roux skillfully plays with different textures of musks, ranging from light and salty to warm and cuddly, and again, I’m thrilled by aldehydes handled with style. The duality of narcissus is superbly brought forward, and the push-and-pull sensation of radiance and warmth, softness and animalic tones is balanced elegantly.

Puredistance Rubikona By Cecile Zarokian

Puredistance Rubikona (Cécile Zarokian):Elegant, as Puredistance tends to be with all the perfumes in their collection, but this time with Cecile’s skills tuned to perfection: Rubikona is definitely reflecting the brand’s line – timeless elegance, and burgundy-ruby colour as a theme. Its refinement is elaborate, accords and notes that constitute a wonderful floral bouquet placed at the center are blended with surgical precision. Above all – it is a beautiful neo-chypre with multifaceted floral aspects, refined sensuality of spices and a deeply warming soul made of patchouli. Elegance and opulence that makes you shine from inside out, even in your PJ’s during long, lockdown nights.

Rusty Vibes Antonio Alessandria

Cafleurebon 10th AnniversaryAntonio Alessandria ParfumsRusty Vibes (Antonio Alessandro): Antonio created Rusty Vibes as the fourth bespoke fragrance for Cafleurebon’s 10th anniversary, and it is divine! All elements clicked perfectly: an inspiration – photos by Alex C. Musgrave, the artistic expression characteristic for Antonio, and high quality of materials used. Original, expressive, and emotional, Rusty Vibes is a perfume that portraits life, translated by using forms that paint olfactory portrait of all things blooming at first, to fruits of blossoms, and then to first signs of decay, a rustiness that’s so comforting, like sunset’s of perfect summer days that make you feel complete. Beautiful.

Tyger Tyger by Francesca Bianchi (for Francesca Bianchi)

Francesca Bianchi Perfumes Tyger Tyger(Francesca Bianchi): Just recently released, and it made my Top 10 list: if you wonder why I didn’t choose Sticky Fingers or Cuir Soyeaux (and that was a very tight race to the moment of handing this text in), I’ll elaborate. Because of Zeitgeist. And because of how Francesca handled the material she admitted to being a bit insecure of up to now. Tyger Tyger feels like Tina Turner singing We don’t need another hero (Beyond Thunderdome) in Mad Max 3 (Aunty Entity) – a villain that’s scary and beautiful at the same time, a warrior woman ruling through reason, fair – but also ruthless when necessary. Tyger Tyger – with it’s „post-apocalyptical tuberose“ fits that imagery perfectly: Francesca Bianchi has created a monster, tamed it, and put white flowers in it’s mouth to chew on. And it purrs, it’s breath smelling of honey and peach, later settling down to a smooth chypre accord. A confidence-boosting survivor-scent that’s easy to wear.

2020 Top Ten Fragrances

Nicoleta’s 2020 Top Ten Fragrances

As 2020 draws to a close, we hope you enjoyed our retros. Even if our brains are just 2% of our body weight, the brain consumes half of our daily carbohydrate requirements, glucose being its most important fuel. Under high levels of stress, the brain requires up to 12% more energy, leading us straight to the cookie jar. No wonder my 2020 list of perfumes is made (almost entirely) out of gourmand scents. This year I have stepped away from my beloved resins, patchouli, and “church-type” scents and have ventured far beyond my comfort zone – into the very comfortable and indulgent realm of gourmands. Almost exclusively, my list for 2020 is composed of comforting gourmands, (of course, with a few exceptions, for extra spice).

So, here are my 2020 Top Ten Fragrances perfumes, in totally random order (and I am sure I will remember others, immediately after I press send).

Francesca Bianchi Sticky Fingers

Francesca Bianchi Sticky Fingersit’s not often that I buy a perfume IMMEDIATELY after sampling it, but it was the case with Francesca’s Sticky Fingers, as I needed to connect to its raw energy as soon as first sniffed it. For all of us who hoped the apocalypse would be more Mad Max in leather and less Couch Potato in fluffy pajamas, Sticky Fingers was the middle finger manifesto to the reality of 2020 and a fabulous escape to a parallel universe where everything feels badass and cool. Thank you for this one, Francesca!

2020 top ten fragrances Ormonde Jayne To celebrate the 20th anniversary, Ormonde Jayne created a series of seven fragrances, including Tanger, under the name of La Route de Soie reviews

Ormonde Jayne Tanger:“La Route de Soie” is the series of 7 fragrances created by Linda Pilkington to celebrate 20 years of successful activity. The whole series is an interconnected experience of evocative, cinematic, and beautiful perfumes, made out of liquid wanderlust. My favorite: Tanger – a fragrance that seems simple in construction (happy sunny bright neroli – bergamot- ylang – amber combo) but complex and deep in effect, as it has an uncanny ability to be a “blank slate” of positive energy you can draw from.

Francesca dell'Oro Need a name review

Francesca dell’Oro Need a name: I feel connected to many of Francesca dell’Oro creations – Page 29 and Envoutant being long time favorites. Need a name is a wonderful warm spicy number that plays on contrasts – being both cozy (woods, jasmine, pepper) and also filled with adrenaline (zesty lemon, mandarin, and grapefruit). The fragrance has a sensual vagueness about it as it taps into a certain kind of olfactive nostalgia mixed with happiness that I love to explore.

Maison Tahité – Officine Creative Profumi Vanilla2

Maison Tahité – Officine Creative Profumi Vanilla2 : Maison Tahité has picked one of the most versatile and complex notes to base its fragrant portfolio on – vanilla. If Sel_Vanille is a very original, salty, aquatic take on vanilla, I adored Vanilla2 for its “more IS more” construction: a deeply deep gourmand, with an extra sweet dimension of delicious pralines, balanced by a relaxing talcum powder note. Overdose of sweet indulgence, yes, please!

Masque Milano Madeleine

Masque Milano Madeleine (Fanny Bal:) A very posh dessert is at the center of Madeleine’s composition: the delicious Mont Blanc pastry (a sweetened chestnut puree topped with whipped cream). The milky sweetness is surrounded by a floral elegant bouquet and powdery almondy notes and tied together with vanilla to create a sophisticated, modern, and exceptionally well-tailored gourmand. A must-try.

 zara sweet pastry in Paris

Zara’s  “A sweet pastry in Paris” (Artisan collection 2020):  Winter is coming. Bring forth ye creamy gourmands! If you crave an uncomplicated delicious vanilla lemony treat, give this Nathalie Lorson creation a go. The notes are simple as the recipe for Sansa’s famous lemon cakes: sugar, lemon and vanilla. Absolutely delicious fragrance at a deliciously friendly price.

Der Duft Monopteros review

Der Duft  Monopteros (Anselm Skogstad): One of the coolest brands I had the pleasure of discovering in 2020 – Der Duft (click here to read about Bubble and here for Cinematic) Monopteros is a conceptual perfume done without the over-conceptualization stiff-upper-lip aura about it. Notes are a bit scary, I must admit, but the result is a sheer joy to experience on the skin, balancing between sweet and spicy, airy and deep, keeping your senses on edge and veering away from conventional. It’s coherent, unusual, free, fun, and ORIGINAL.

Sarah Baker Flame & fortune

Sarah Baker Perfumes Flame & Fortune (Sarah Baker):  Feel the sudden urge to quote Metallica here:  “Give me fuelgive me fire / Give me that which I desire, ooh!” A seemingly innocent oriental – floral, drunk on Mezcal, (no worm in sight) sets fire to the flower shop. Motor oil, burning bouquets, labdanum, charred fruits, spices, and citrus peel. It’s dramatic, it’s cool, it’s smokin’ but still has this proper, almost angelic attitude of “Who, meee?”Nicoleta Tomsa, Editor

  • I’m afriad gourmands don’t do much for me, but Elena’s choice of a perfume linked to the Fado, jasmin, and saudade interests me a lot! And so do DSH’s L’Orr and Durbano’s Aram, so Elena’s choices speak to me.

  • Aram, Aram Blows…

Sun and Moon enlighten with the same Strength

Born Love, Unadorned Man, New Earth

    Initial, Pure Alliances of Essences

When the Stones are Light… He is He

    – This description sounds really interesting and deep. When stones are light. Sun and Moon brighten with the same strength. Wow, that sounds like something that would really bring to mind the extremes of a desert. Having spent time in the Mojave, I think this sounds like the scent of a wanderer of wisdom, a person who basks in heat and daytime, and the splendor of the cool, cold desert nights. These words are reverberating in my mind and feel magnetic.

Both reviewers have something unique to bring to the table for their top 10s and I found the fragrance Tyger Tyger interesting enough to really draw me into its description. Your choice of Miguel Matos Perfumes Fado Jasmim (Miguel Matos): “Saudade” is interesting as well. As a lover of this profound word that we can only say is melancholic, happy, sad, and everything in-between is exactly this. I have a connection to Brazil having been to Rio a few years ago. My love for Bossa Nova is what drives me to comment this! Thank you for your thoughts on the perfumer as well Elena! Grazie.

Nicoleta, your description of Flame and Fortune sounds deliciously captivating. I am enamored with the idea of booziness and smoke and florals playing along with each other. I love mezcal as it is. (if you ever get the chance, try some from El Jolgorio, you might be in for a tasty surprise!) Char me up! ¡El fuego es la pasión de mi existencia! Gracias por todo.

    -Italy

  • Many beautiful fragrances to choose from! I have the pleasure of enjoying Fado Jasmin by Miguel Matos and loved that it was mentioned. I’ve got my eye on Mimosa Tanneron! Thanks for the opportunity to try Aram. Mich USA

  • Again some fragrances have made repeat appearances. I got my second Masque in Russian Tea this year and Masque Milano Madeleine may well be my third acquisition from the brand (first was L’Atessa of whom I have 2 bottles). Rubikona seemed like a challenging fragrance to me from initial reviews but it seems like it is a favorite among Cafleurebon’s writers. USA.

  • I was happy to read about the comfy foody perfumes. Definitely will need to find Vsnilla2
I own citrine by Mr Durbano and love it!
Please enter me for Aram. Now off to read all your other posts.
    From Toronto

  • Like Elena, Perris Monte Carlo Mimosa Tanneron was one of my favorite fragrant discoveries of 2020. I completely agree it brings much sunshine and it reminds me of my mom. Mimosas used to be her favorite flowers when I was younger. I haven’t tried any of the fragrances Nicoleta mentioned but I am drawn to Der Duft Monopteros and Sarah Baker’s Flame and Fortune. I’d be very happy to win Aram! I am in the USA.

  • I’m in the UK so please enter me for Olivier Durbano’s Aram. I’d so love to try this one! I have been searching for a wonderful tea scent and hope that this may be one of them.
the two Miguel Matos fragrances are on my list too…. i bet they are divine.
Of course you could not end without including Puredistance; their perfumes and attention to detail are always top notch, and Rubikona is indeed that!
Suffice to say that i think i want each of the scents that Nicoleta has written about – her descriptions of them are sending me crazy to try and get a spray of these! With the time that’s in it, it may be a long wait! Thanks for wetting our appetites.

  • I love gourmands too, so Nicoleta’s choices were right up my alley. I bought Sticky Fingers & Vanille2, as well as Vanillade and Floranilla. One of my other big loves is incense, so I would love to get the chance to win Aram. I love his Black Tourmaline, Rock Crystal, Heliotrope, Rose Quartz and Citrine. I’m in the US.

  • Another interesting list with many perfumers who are new to me, I see some repeats on everyone’s lists. I think Masque Milano Madeleine made almost all of them. I remember seeing Aram on more than one other list. Tea, vetiver, rose and hope in a bottle sounds like a wonderful way to start the new year. Commenting from MD, USA.

  • Nicoleta’s comment on Sticky Fingers “giving 2020 the middle finger” made me laugh. I completely agree that it’s very Rock ‘n Roll and has been a solace for me in a time of despair.

    Great choices!

    I live in the UK.

  • I appreciate learning more about these fragrances; these lists were helpful. I noticed that a lot of these fragrances were mentioned in other Cafleurebon top ten lists, and that says to me that there is a strong possibility that these fragrances are high-quality, enjoyable, and having what it takes to be popular in the fragrance community. I truly want to win that bottle from Olivier Durbano; it seems like something that I would enjoy. I live in MD., U.S.A.

  • Once again, I am struck with the versatile nature of the selections. It is also interesting to note that some of these are repetitions of previous selections which makes one look even more closely. I’ve loved the description of Aram and I do so hope I win this one. I love the tea and vetiver notes. Many thanks to both Elena and Nicoleta for their great reviews. I’m in the USA

  • Really like that hope in a bottle moniker. All of us could use a little more of that in 2021. Do mine eyes spy green tea in the notes? Yes pleeeease to green teas. Great to see Madeleine change Elena’s thoughts about gourmands too! And I have a feeling Peter Carter would be interested in smelling Pharaoh’s Passion as an adjunct to his Dendera. Could they be brother and sister? Great choices with FB’s Tyger Tyger and Sticky Fingers btw. Feeling like the latter would layer well with OCP Vanilla2. Certainly didn’t know that Lorson was behind the Zara frag either. Basically a wonderful scent with a morning coffee – black, to balance the sugar and lemony goodness. Bit of a fan of their True Leather release this year myself – an unexpected ashy cuir, amidst a generally sweet, thrifty and mass appealing lineup. Loving the Metallica quote in Nicoletta’s description of Flame & Fortune. A tenacious blend of smoke and gingery florals that one. Overall, it hasn’t been that bad of a year I think. But if brands really feel like pulling out the stops to make 2021 even more golden, we should be in for a cracking 365. Here’s to hope, health and happiness! Cheers to everyone at Cafleurebon. -Canada

  • I love perfume descriptions from both Elena and Nicoleta. There are several perfumes I either like already or really want to try in both lists. Form Elena’s list I love Masque Milano Madeleine (well that one is in both lists). I also would love to try Perris Monte Carlo Mimosa Tanneron. And of course Tyger Tyger. Continuing with Francesca Bianchi in Nicoleta’s list I love the her description of Sticky fingers. I am also very interested to try Sarah Baker Perfumes Flame & Fortune. Many great fragrances in all of your lists this year I must admit. I’m from Illinois, US.

  • Michael Prince says:

For Elena’s picks I am most interested in Olivier Durbano Aram and Masque Milano Madeleine. For Nicoleta’s picks I am interested in Francesca Bianchi Sticky Fingers, Ormonde Jayne Tanger, Masque Milano Madeleine, Der Duft  Monotperos, Zara’s  “A sweet pastry in Paris”, Maison Tahité, and Francesca dell’Oro Need a name. I am from the USA.

  • I had a long, thoughtful comment almost complete and then the tech monsters madenit disappear— o, well. The fragrances I’m most interested in from this post are Aram, Tyger Tyger, Flame and Fortune, and Sticky Fingers. I haven’t tried anything by any of these artists except Sarah Baker— I got her Jungle Jezebel hand sanitizer!

  • Even more new releases that I haven’t tried!! Man, as much as I’m loving these lists I am getting a bit of 2020 fragrance FOMO.

Love the lists and the reasons behind them. For me Porter Sa Peau has jumped to the top of my must try list because so many best 10 lists have mentioned it; likewise Masque Milano’s Madeleine, but I find gourmands rarely sit well on my skin so that one is calling my name slightly less urgently.

I would be thrilled to win Aram: it seems like a very unusual and compelling composition and is a stark departure from many of the iris-centered or gourmand releases this year.

In Canada. Wishing everyone a much happier new year!

  • It’s always fun to compare your own list with others. That definitely happened reading these two. I’ll wait until I have sampled them to see how much I agree nevertheless. (US)

  • New reader here,
So much to learn about perfume, so little time! As I like to call myself a perfume collector (hello le labo, MFK, kilian alike), I am stunned at the amount of new release each year that i just learned from this site and the many beautiful perfumes mentioned (all foreign to me lol) in this post!

It was interesting how Elena had described Aram vs Olivier Durbano. It was soft and healing per Elena’s vs stone and dust and grounded per Olivier”s. The contrast here is so intriguing.

Drawn to Der Duft, just look at that bottle and presentation, any minimalist knows what i meant! I am feeling a bit less scent-inspired lately, will take anything ORIGINAL, bold, scary and unique!

  • From the description of Aram by Elena: “…smells like hope to me. It soothes my soul with green tea, vetiver, and rose, hugs me closely with inevitable incense and resins, and gently eases my mind taking me to ever-shifting sand hills made of dreams. Timeless, and guaranteed to lift your soul up. Hope in a bottle.”

It’s good to be able to end the year with this generous draw of Aram, or hope in a bottle. There are so many great perfumes reviewed here by Elena and Nicoleta – I am interested in the ones which have also appeared in Lauryn’s, Ida’s, Michelyn’s, Ermano’s lists recently.

Thanks for a year of great reviews and draws and spreading knowledge of perfumes, perfumers, and perfumery, and providing hope and cheer through aromatherapy provided by these perfumes. Have a great 2021. Writing from the USA.

  • I loved the spirit that Elena wrote her article with. One can tell she is a very romantic, tender and emotional soul, and her choices and descriptions reflected that fully.
On the other hand,I also loved Nicoleta’s witty remarks, the elements she picked from pop culture in order to make the fragrance more accessible to us through analogy (long live Metallica and GoT!) and the fact that even what she called “comfortable gourmands” were described in a totally badass manner.
Please count me in for the draw, would love to experience the “hope in a bottle” that Elena so dearly wrote about. EU.

  • Totally agree with Nicoleta’s review of Francesca Bianchi’s Sticky Fingers perfume and Elena’s review of Tyger Tyger!
My two favourite notes of incense and resins are listed in Aram, that’s immediately appealing! ~ Canada

  • Again, Madleine and Mimosa Tanneron … if everyone likes them, I’m more intrigued than ever by those two fragrances. And if those two are like other fragrances form Perris Monte Carlo and Masque Milano i know, than I fully understand why they made it in every top. I also wanted to buy, this year, Zara’s Sweet Pastry, but it was sold out everywhere, which makes me think that it is a great gourmand. The fragrances listed here are all great and I find it very difficult to chose just one, because each has it’s own strong points. Happy New Year and happy new fragrances! I currently live in Romania.

  • Pauline Carlesen says:

Thank you for I r sharing this article. Can’t wait to purchase some of these perfumes.

  • Both lists are intriguing and fascinating in equal measure. First of all from Elena’s list I am intrigued by Miguel Matos Fado Jasmine and Olivier Durbano Aram. From Nicoleta’s list I am fascinated by Sarah Baker Flame and Fortune and Sticky Fingers. Thanks a million from the United Kingdom

  • I agree with Nicoleta that Sticky Fingers is one the year’s best, though for me it took a few rounds sampling before committing to a full bottle. Tyger Tyger as highlighted by Elena is on my next sampling list. Thank you for making these lists! Also, I would love for a chance to win Olivier Durbano’s Aram. I live in Finland.

  • Thanks to Elena and Nicoleta for sharing their favourites: a gourmand festival (more on the Nicoleta side).. Francesca Bianchi is doing everything all right! two different perfumes in the lists.. amazing year she had… I would love to try the Fado Jasmim by Miguel Matos… melancholic´s expresion of one soul describes it Elena… couldnt be said better in few words! and Zara made it to list, as spanish , I am suprised how underated are (even by Zara people) their perfumes, being this one made by the great Nathalie Lorson! I would love to win the Olivier Durbano Aram : green tea, rose and vetiver are such a great combo. I m from Spain, EU. Happy New Year!

  • I never tried something from Olivier, but I’ve read a lot about his masterpieces.
Elena”s top 10 is on my ti try list.
Thank you all for such a amazing reviews and Happy new year
    Love from Dennark
    Liki

  • I’m intrigued that with a whole bunch of fragrances available to the editors, they were able to pick one common favorite (Masque Milano Madeleine). This piqued my interest in the fragrance even though all of them sound superb. I’d love to get a hug from Olivier Durbano Aram 🙂 I’m in USA

  • It’s nice to see comfort means such various notions to people, the common ground being that feeling of longing for something soothing and hopeful. Whatever that means for each one of us:). I would go for Tanger (Ormonde Jayne) for that Mediterranean feeling of escape and Sticky Fingers and Flame&Fame for that Rock n’ Roll feeling I always fall for:). Would love to win Aram, thank you for the give away.
I am based in Romania, EU.

  • Claumarchini says:

I love both Elena’s and Nicoleta’s reviews, I found them so lively and witty, full of energy and hope that better days will come! I agree with what Nicoleta says about gourmands: I am usually not into sweet scents, and have always found vanilla too overwhelming, but this year I started to appreciate it more, probably it’s the need to be comforted…
I am really intrigued by many of te fragrances reviewed, so I’ll have a lot of studying to do in this early part of 2021, thanks to this wonderful blog!
I’d love to win Arsm, both for the notes that sound really wonderful and also for the tribute to such an amazing part of the world… I live in Milan, Italy

  • Danu Seith-Fyr says:

Fantastic coverage of a year gone bad, here contained in these lists are so many of the feel good factors that kept us all going. Bravo, my contemporaries have done it again. Miss you all in body but know that we are connected with nose and heart. Elena has chosen so many of the pivotal fragrances released this year which resonate with me also, Nicoleta and Elena have hit the nail on the head, it was a Mimosa and Gourmand year as we all craved comfort and sunshine, brightness, hope and an embrace. Also they both chose timeless and courageous scents, ones that erase this difficulties of this year and shout out our defiance and determination to endure. I admire Olivier so very much and am proud to call him friend, Aram is a beacon of enduring love and hope embodied by Olivier himself. Thank you for your writings, your time and energy and for the opportunity. I live in beautiful France

  • Firstly I am curious to learn more about Elena’s choices Aram and Fado Jasmine. Whilst Nicoleta’s choices Sticky Fingers and Flame and Fortune both sound sumptuous. Thanks a lot from the UK

  • From the top tens I’d like to try the L’Or(ris). In for the Olivier Durbano Aram draw chance. US

  • Bryant Worley says:

    The two lists were excellent.

    Elena’s highlights:

Olivier Durbano Aram: – this sounds like a real ‘Zen’ of a fragrance, or an olfactory scalp massage.

    Perris Monte Carlo Mimosa Tanneron:
is fluffy, without being overly powdery, sensual in it’s au naturel appearance, and glowing softly in the drydow

Sarah Baker Perfumes Flame & Fortune: A seemingly innocent oriental – floral, drunk on Mezcal, (no worm in sight) sets fire to the flower shop. Motor oil, burning bouquets, labdanum, charred fruits, spices, and citrus peel (this description says it all, AND METALLICA!)

St. Clair Scents Pharaoh’s Passion Spices, florals, herbs, luxurious opulence, and smooth woods – (If Cleopatra smelled this good, then Iwant to smell like Cleopatra)

Puredistance Rubikona – Elegant, as Puredistance tends to be with all the – it is a beautiful neo-chypre with multifaceted floral aspects, refined sensuality of spices and a deeply warming soul made of patchouli.

    Nicoleta’s highlights

Francesca Bianchi Sticky Fingers: Now I know where I can get some “raw energy” when I want it

Ormonde Jayne Tanger La Route de Soie:
During 2020, who couldn’t have used a “blank slate” of positive energy that could be drawn from.

Francesca dell’Oro Need a name – Nicoleta says that this fragrance has a sensual vagueness about it as it taps into a certain kind of olfactive nostalgia mixed with happiness that I should want to explore.

Zara’s “A sweet pastry in Paris” Withstanding the fact that wearing this fragrance may give me tooth decay, the fact that Nathalie Lorson’s name is connected to this fragrance is enough for me

Der Duft Monotperos (Anselm Skosgstad):- gotta love a well-balanced fragrance that is unique sweet and spicy, airy and deep, keeping your senses on edge and veering away from conventional. It’s coherent, unusual, free, fun, and ORIGINAL. (‘Nuff said)

I live in Waldorf, Maryland, USA.

  • I live in the neighboring county to Elena, so I am sending a lot of love across the border. Thank you for a great list. Madeline by Masque has made it to nearly all of editors’ and contributors’ lists, but Elena’s depiction of Masque’s efforts to challenge the year 2020 is my favorite. Even 2020 was so challenging on many levels and so many people were so harshly hit, I cherish the attitude of positivity and admire the quest to find new unique ways to handle hurdles. Way to go, Masque!
About Nicoleta’s choices. I love to see Zara fragrance on the list. A Sweet Pastry in Paris is reminiscent of summer 2020, the only period of “normality” in Slovenia. I was visiting the local Zara store just to sniff the fragrances by Emotions and Artisan lines.
I also feel that Monotperos by DER DUFT and salty vanilla fragrance by Maison Tahite are quite up my alley since I already enjoyed reading original reviews by Nicoleta.
The way she describes the fragrances resonates with me, so I am looking forward to reading more of her contributions in 2021.

I am grateful that I found my love and thirst for learning about, experimenting, and exploring perfumes again.
Thank you for all the superb content, CaFleureBon! And of course, thank you for hosting the draw. We all need “a hope in the bottle”. 🙂
Happy holidays and let 2020 bring each of you plenty of good things.
    Cheers!

  • I liked Elena’s description of ‘Madeleine’, as my first thoughts went directly to Proust’s novel ‘ A la recherche du temps perdu’. I was also pleasantly surprised by Nicoleta’s choice, ‘A sweet pastry in Paris’ because, when I smelled it few weeks ago, I was determined to buy it on the spot. Thank you for the draw! I live in EU.

  • Interesting list! I have noted all of them on my list in order to try them as soon as possible because, unfortunately, I have not been able to smell any of them, but I love gourmands, so I am looking forward to try them.
Thank you for the draw and Happy New Year!

  • I am happy that even if 2020 was a hard year with all the pandemic situation, the perfume industry did not give up and instead offered us many, many fragrant goodies. As a proof, there are a number of brands that launched this year. They are like the flowers who can bloom even in the harshest climate conditions!
Also, many thanks to the CaFleureBon editors for their continuos work! Not a single day passed without an article, a draw or the latest news from the perfume industry!
Happy New Year to everyone and keep up the good work!

  • Andreea Florica says:

I love gourmand perfumes and after seeing Madeleine on every list and every ‘best’ or ‘favorite’ article from you, I am dying to test it to see what is all about. My goal for 2021 when it comes to fragrances, is to put my nose on Madeleine. My curiosity is on fire.
Thank you for the draw! I am in Europe.

  • Thanks both Elena and Nicoleta for great articles and composing these lists.
Great choices and have to admit I haven’t tried all of these yet. Seeing Masque Milano’s Madeleine mentioned by both, i need to chase a sample down in 2021 for sure.
Love Elena’s choice for Fado Jasmin, which I’d love to try. Dawn Spencer Hurwitz l’Or(ris) also sounds absolutely amazing.
I’m glad Nicoleta has mentioned der Duft Monopteros which is a weird concoction of notes that just works. Loved trying that this year too. Also the new Sarah Baker releases were bonkers, flame and fortune is certainly a stand out. For me also Far from the Madding Crowd and Bascule were so well done.
I haven’t tried Aram yet, but it sounds beautifully aethereal and “hope in a bottle” sounds like what we need right now. It is also the name of one of my best friends. Marit UK

  • Such a great finale! I like Nicoleta’s top 10 slightly more, but both are awsome! I like the diverity and flexibility of both top 10. My favourite fragrance from those 2 lists is Sticky Finger, i could smell it while reading a full review and this short statement. Poland, EU

  • Madeleine…..again. She is haunting me. Looks like this is a safe blind buy as I think it’s been on almost everyone’s list. The Zara Pastry in Paris interests me, I recently found out there is a Zara not to far from me. I’m going straight away to check out Der Duft with the scary notes that become sheer joy. Rubikona went on my sample order from Luckyscent which I am looking forward to. I am hoping my local shop get Tanger as they carry this line and I need a fantastic Neroli and Ormonde Jayne is one of my favorite houses. Thanks for bringing these lesser known fragrances to my attention. I would love Aram, looks like an uplifting and happy fragrance. Happy & healthy new year. use.

  • Dearest Elena and Nicoleta,

Once again, I have to thank you both for the work you put into this list. I often wonder how you are able to pick favorites when you smell so many fragrances in a year. This is truly a fantastic list showcasing niche as well as large scale houses, which displays the effects the pandemic has had on perfumery in both cases.

I’m amazed to see that in spite of all the emotional hardships this year, creativity is at it’s peak. One cannot deny that hardship spurs creativity as an outlet.

I have had the benefit of smelling Berceuse which is an insane vetiver fragrance and takes you on a fast journey, puntuated by interesting twists. I’m also looking forward to sniffing Fleur Cachee courtesy of Cafleurebon (thank you!).

DSH Perfumes L’Or(ris) Anything created by Dawn is a strong love for me. I am so inspired by this perfumers creativity and have been closely following her insta.

Masque Milano Madeleine (Fanny Bal): When I read the recent review in CFB, I was intrigued by how a gourmand could possess so many facets. Would love to get my nose on this sometime.

Perris Monte Carlo Mimosa Tanneron A fascinating creating by the master Ellena. Can I experience Grasse as well?

Olivier Durbano Aram – another great fragrance that I read in CFB that I loved. The mixes of citruses, resins, tea, rose sounded so good.

St. Clair Scents Pharaoh’s Passion (Diane St. Clair): After listening to her interview with American Perfumer, I have a huge amount of respect for her art. I picked up a few of her samples and they were all great

Cafleurebon 10th AnniversaryAntonio Alessandria ParfumsRusty Vibes (Antonio Alessandro): This one sounds so good, Read about it, wished I could pick up a sample.

Francesca Bianchi Tyger Tyger (Francesca Bianchi) – I’ve wanted to smell this for a while now. I actually haven’t smelt any of Bianchi’s work and this sounds brilliant.

Francesca Bianchi Tyger Tyger (Francesca Bianchi) – I sawa review of this one and was pretty intrigued by it.

Ormonde Jayne Tanger:“La Route de Soie” Another one that I read about and wanted to smell because of it;s use f neroli

Maison Tahité – Officine Creative Profumi Vanilla2 : THis was a great article. I loved the idea of a vanilla fragrance with a salty and aquatic note. It sounds very technical and difficult to execute.

Der Duft Monotperos (Anselm Skosgstad): The article on this was crazy and I applaud the perfumers on their bravery in trying out this concept.

I would be ecstatic to win a bottle of Aram. Those notes just sound like a joy to exoperience.

I enjoyed reading both lists and seeing the variation in the tastes of both the reviewers

    Cheers from WI, USA

  • incensemaster says:

I really enjoyed reading your top 10 lists! It was sad how hard it was to sample fragrances this year. Reading reviews throughout the year was the main way for me to participate in my love for perfume.
I liked that Nicoleta highlighted a Zara scent in her top 10 list among many much more complex and luxurious fragrances. It’s a good reminder that a simple cheap fragrance can also be satisfying and enjoyable.
From Elena’s list a highlight for me was Aram. The connection of the idea of hope in a bottle and the perfumer’s inspiration of Syria make this a beautiful and evocative fragrance.
Would love to win a bottle of it.
    Happy New Year!

  • I love reading end of the year Best of lists, well this year I have not tried any new releases but reading all these lists makes me want to go and smell them all of them at once!!
All the descriptions are amazing and I can totally relate to find refuge in gourmands for this difficult year we all had..
I don’t own any Durbano fragrances but Aram looks incredible, I live in the US and would love to win it!

    Happy New Year!!!!

  • Like Ida well said “Oh, what a wicked year it’s been! ”
Now I’m about to share my thoughts
    1. Aram by Olivier Durbano
I own 2 Olivier Durbano fragrances – 30ml of Black Tourmaline Extrait version – it’s a 10/10 masterpiece , and a must have for any frag-head. EDP is good too , but to me the Extrait is just better. I hope I’m wrong, but I think it’s discontinued. I also had 50ml decant of Amethyst EDP (50/50 split with a friend) , finished it, and bought extrait version.
I’ll make sure to check Aram
    2. Madeleine by Masque Milano
Sounds delicious, like sitting in a small coffee shop in Montmartre in Paris, eating a dessert and drinking triple shot espresso.
3.Mimosa Tanneron by Perris Monte Carlo
First spray was awesome, but soon went really bad on my skin. I think it’s just my body chemistries fault.
    4. Rusty Vibes by Antonio Alessandria Parfums
Rusty Vibes should be grown up artisanal fragrance, fruity and metallic. Artistic indeed, without crossing the line. Antonio Alessandria Parfums I need to get my hands on.
    5. Tyger Tyger by Francesca Bianchi Perfumes
I was not aware of this one , must try for sure.
6.Sticky Fingers by Francesca Bianchi Perfumes
Tobacco and patchouli gem. To my surprise I barely detect leather.
    7. Tanger by Ormonde Jayne
The whole La Route de Soie line I’ve not smelled yet, so I can’t share my thoughts.
Judging by Nicoleta take Tanger is moody fragrance, with juicy opening and ambery dry down.
    8. A sweet pastry in Paris by Zara
    Top 5 cheapie of 2020
    9. Flame & Fortune by Sarah Baker Perfumes
Burned peaches , campfire and booze. Performance is through the roof
Thanks to Cafleurebon, all reviewers and brands making it all happen.
    All @cafleurebon @theplumgirl @nicoleta.tomsa I already follow
Virginia USA or London UK , let’s see with current situation if I’ll be able to visit London anytime soon.

  • oh, some repeats on this list from others, makes me want to try them even more – Madeleine, Mimosa Tannerom, Tyger Tyger, Porter sa Peau, and new ones- Fado Jasmin, Tanger, and Aram. I always enjoy reading about the perfumes that those who have access to so many really really enjoyed the previous year and why those scents spoke to them. Need a Name sounds like a lovely mix of spice and light/citrus, and often I still would like to sniff something even if i think i wouldn’t wear it. thank you again for all your reviews and thoughts and best wishes for the new year!! In the US.

  • I loved Nicoleta’s inclusion of a Zara fragrance to give hope to those of us living on a budget, and her descriptions of Monotpersos and Flame and Fortune made me want to order sample bottles right away. Elena increased my interest in Miguel Matos’s work and her description of Porter Sa Peau makes me want to inhale my tiny sample of it again to experience it through the filter of her perceptions. I’m struck by how everybody seems to like Madeleine. Winning Aram would be super. I am in the US, in NC.

  • There have been so many wonderful fragrances this year. I am inspired and impressed by all the perfumes on Elena’s and Nicoleta’s lists, but most especially by Sticky Fingers. I loved what Nicoleta wrote about escaping to a badass universe. I also like Elena’s description of Fado Jasmin. I love the longing sound of fado music.
    I live in the USA.

  • No matter how much you believe in C…. , the year was hard for all of us .
    *Olivier Durbano Aram
Deep, rich and full mysterious fragrance. I do burn incense sticks every day, so I’m pumped to maximum.
    *Masque Milano Madeleine
The weather is dreadful last week, Madeleine could be my cure.
    *Antonio Alessandria Parfums Rusty Vibes
The metallic addition will balance the fragrance in a nice way, not allowing it to become super sweet.I do have a favorite Antonio Alessandria fragrance, it’s called Noir Obscure. I have smelled all at Luckyscent , and Noir Obscure was the best one.
    *Ormonde Jayne Tanger
I really need such surge of positive energy right now. With Tanger spring, and genuine positive energy will come after all .
*Sarah Baker Perfumes Flame & Fortune
    True niche perfumery
    Thanks to Elena and Nicoleta
    USA, rarely Paris France

  • Awesome job ladies
What i like one by one
    A) Masque Milano Madeleine
Feels like something I can chew
    B) Antonio Alessandria Parfums Rusty Vibes
Combination of fruits, florals and metallic notes is not something you see everyday
    C) Ormonde Jayne Tanger
I’m sure is…. everything you don’t expect it tobe .Enigmatic , happy fragrances I appreciate . Obviously it clicked well with Nicoleta, feels like it will click with me too.
    D) Sarah Baker Perfumes Flame & Fortune
“Motor oil, burning bouquets, labdanum, charred fruits, spices, and citrus peel.”
    Say that again Wow
    E) Francesca Bianchi Sticky Fingers
    “Mad Max in leather”
    Wow gain , I love Nicoleta’s mood here 🙂
    Thanks
    Currently in Germany

  • Fragrances i would be thrilled to try:
    Antonio Alessandria Parfums Rusty Vibes
Sicily Italy, ripe fruits, vanilla ? If you ever been in Sicily, and you know local cuisine you’ve most likely eaten Cassata , the locals called it Cassata Siciliana . Traditional cake from the region I’m thinking right now after reading about Rusty Vibes
    Olivier Durbano Aram
Aram description reminded me of eating Grapefruit Tea Cake somewhere in the nature, right next to a waterfall while having a burning incense sticks next to me.I have not smelled Olivier Durbano fragrances before.
    Masque Milano’s Madeleine
When I was studying under Pierre Herme to become a Pastry Chef, making good Mont Blanc was a must.Chestnuts (puree or whole) piled on top of meringue rounds, and topped with chantilly crème is what I’m thinking right now, i smell just like Mont Blanc. I see Elena is on the same page with me
    🙂
Nicoleta take on Tanger reminded me of making, and eating Mandarin Orange Cake with Vanilla Cream Frosting i do twice a week at my bakery. Of course Citrus Glaze on top of it is a must.
Maison Tahité – Officine Creative Profumi Vanilla2
Double chocolate layer Cake , with salted caramel topping is what I’m thinking right now. Being traditionally trained Pastry Chef I do work with real vanilla only , and I’m overly picky about my vanilla fragrances. If I have a chance, I will try Maison Tahite
Appreciate sharing your 2020 best , and the giveaway campaign
    USA

  • I liked quite a few from both lists, and I keep seeing Madeline pop up. Looks like a must try. I also enjoyed Mimosa fragrances this year, and I’m also curious to try more from Der Duft. I live in the USA.

  • Both Elena and Nicoleta’s reviews make me want to try all of the fragrances. I am particularly on board with Nicoleta’s words on Sticky Fingers. Dang right! I am in the US.

  • Iuno Feronia says:

Many beautiful fragtances, what I Liked was the Mimosa and Jasmin perfumes, thanks for the draw, I live in the EU. Happy new Year!

  • Amongst Elena’s choices, I unfortunately haven’t tried any of them, I was the most interested in Rusty Vibes – the combination of tropical fruits, coconuts, and milky notes sounds like the perfect antidote to how 2020 has come to be – as well as Aram, which also sounds like the delightful blend of tea and vetiver will be a salve for the soul.

From Nicoleta’s selections, I’ve tried Tanger and definitely agree that it’s sunshine in a bottle – it effortlessly creates an effervescent feeling of positivity and I can’t stop smiling when I wear it. I was also pleasantly surprised to see a Zara fragrance amongst the list – it’s composed by Nathalie Lorson, is affordable, and a cosy gourmand? I’ll definitely have to check this out!

I live in the UK, and would love to win Aram.

Thank you for putting together this great list and for generously hosting this giveaway!

  • I’ll repeat myself, but I really have a feeling 2021 will be way better than 2020 , and things will get back to normal, or at least close to normal.
    Most impressive to me are
    -Olivier Durbano Aram
Such an artisanal fragrance, I’m intrigued.
    -Ormonde Jayne Tanger
Remind me of sunny , happy , and a bit warm winter days .More sunshine please.
    -Francesca dell’Oro Need a name
Like a date with a classy lady
    -Masque Milano Madeleine
Chestnuts gourmand + creamy florals . I need you in my life Madeline 🙂
-Antonio Alessandria Parfums Rusty Vibes. Tropical beaches , where are you now?
    Exciting giveaway , USA
    Regards

  • Although I haven’t been in the same mood for gourmands this year, Aram sounds wonderful as does Sarah Baker’s Flame & Fortune, two that would’ve flown under my radar if not for this list! Michigan, USA

  • Happy New Year Cafleurebon
    -Masque Milano Madeleine
Sounds delicious, and comforting.I adore Russian Tea – the only Masque Milano fragrance that i own.I have 100ml of it , back when the bottles were different.
    – Aram Olivier Durbano
Olivier Durbano is well known for his smoky and incense fragrances. I see Olivier isn’t straying from the path he’s know for with Aram. Green tea and vetiver are always good additions
I have two samples, and my favorite one is Lapus Philosophorum , in which red wine accord is well combined with resins, and again the traditional for Olivier Durbano incense .
    -Rusty Vibes Antonio Alessandria
I like semi gourmands that are more complex, different, and changing, and not too juvenile with metallic feel . Deliria L’Artisan Parfumeur is a nice example. Rusty Vibes fits the bill perfectly with its fruity- metallic combination. I’d love to try it.
    -Ormonde Jayne Tanger
Tanger sounds a lovely and refreshing scent , with well blended bright neroli and amber
-Maison Tahité – Officine Creative Profumi Vanilla2
I like the old , apothecary kind of look of the bottle. Salted chocolate i like eating because of the contrast.
I hope soon I’ll be able to return to my usual routine of back and forth between USA and Scotland , thanks
    Cheers from VA

  • Seeing Madeleine by Masque Milano being a favourite in almost every Top Ten means it must be beautiful and I hope to have the chance to try it soon!
Other perfumes I hope to sample in the near future are Roberto Greco Porter Sa Peau, the new Francesca Bianchi Tyger Tyger and Maison Tahité – Officine Creative Profumi Vanilla2.
    Thanks from the UK

  • wandering_nose says:

Seeing Masque Milano’s Madeleine come up repeatedly in the best of the year lists makes me want to test it even more. Also, Porter sa Peau has been bewitching me with its sensual charm all the time. I am a lover of vetiver so Aram would be a delight for me to win

  • Thanks for the draw opportunity! I am quite surprised that Zara’s A sweet pastry in Paris is on the list! Regardless, I have got my eyes on Puredistance Rubikona! Heard so many good things about it.

    Florida, USA

  • Hey I happen to own two of Nicoleta Top 10 perfumes , Francesca Bianchi Sticky Fingers and Zara A sweet pastry in Paris. Sticky Fingers is overly powdery at first, but in the base chocolaty patchouli , sandalwood and tobacco. A sweet pastry in Paris smells like a lemon tea cookies .
From all other fragrances mentioned as Top 10 of 2020 , I’m interested in:
-Olivier Durbano Aram . For years I was under the impression Olivier Durbano is fashion designer , because of my sister in law. I do collect fragrances, she collects shoes and scarfs. We always argue who’s crazier for spending so much money on our hobbies. She has two Olivier Durban’s scarfs, and recently I found out that he’s perfumer too.
-Masque Milano’s Madeleine , I would love to wear Madeleine in a snowing cold days, it’ll warm me up.
-Antonio Alessandria Parfums Rusty Vibes , quality natural smelling fruity floral, with metallic nuances. We are indeed search for beauty during our lives, but we get to different results and answers. What answer I’ll get from Rusty Vibes I could only guess.I go to … used to go to be precise, to fragrance meetings twice per month, where all should bring brand new, or relatively unknown fragrances. I have smelled two Antonio Alessandria fragrances Nacre and Noir Obscur there. I do admit Nacre is not my cup of tea. Noir Obscure at the other hand was really good both on paper, and on skin. Warm Oriental I’ll gladly wear myself.
-Ormonde Jayne Tanger , Classic high quality fragrances I adore , dry and bright , fresh citrus , and balsams , I need to try Tanger . Don’t have a full bottle yet myself , but from the three samples that I bought Tolu > Vanille d’Iris > Frangipani
-Sarah Baker Perfumes Flame & Fortune , Different floriental, with charred fruits, spices and citrus peel . Must try
Again thanks to Cafleurebon, all the contributors , and fragrance houses for making our 2020 lives a bit easier.Let’s have a MUCH better 2021 and of course Happy New Year
USA, and Germany from time to time

  • Many beautiful fragrances that are here in these lists! I really liked both of their lists. Since I do reside in the US, I would really love to win Aram since its composition is very interesting to me.

  • I really enjoyed both Nicoleta’s and Elena’s top ten lists, I liked the fragrances that they included since they are familiar to Cafleurebon readers. I would very much like to win Olivier Durbano’s Aram since it seems to be a very nice composition and I am in the US.

  • I really enjoyed both Nicoleta’s and Elena’s top ten lists, they were very varied in their selection, I really liked the amount of gourmand fragrances that is in the list. I would like to win Olivier Durbano’s Aram since it seems that the notes come together very nicely and it would be nice to own a fragrance from a smaller house. Also, I am in the US.

  • Nice, I need to try out more gourmand type fragrances. Not a huge fan of them but still on the hunt for one that I’ll really like it love. Some Good picks here. Thanks, Ca

  • Hope and optimism on one hand and silace and coziness on the other. Great selections by both.
    I’m in Slovenia, EU

  • Cezara Alexandra says:

I live for gourmands – give ’em all to me! I found some of my favourites on Nicoleta’s list. Elena’s choices are new to me, but I am sure to try them in this brand new year. I live in Europe, Romania.

  • What a great selection!!! It s hard to pick one up- every perfumes
sound beautiful in their own way, but I especially liked Masque Milano Madeleine with amazing chestnut accord, fluffy and shining Perris Monte Carlo Mimosa Tanneron.
